I like whatever really, excluding most dubstep. Preferably brit rock to be honest, stuff like Gene, Whiteout, Oasis, Muse, and some older stuff like Uriah Heap.
But here's the kinda popular rock music over in Portugay. Not their best song, but the only one with a music video, which is done quite badly, it has to be said.

I have never been into this techno stuff. Dubstep, House, Electronic, Shigamajizz, whatever. I feel nothing from those types of songs, no emotions, completely soulless. Same goes for this new stuff that's been on the top 10 on billboards, unless it's a good or an amazing rock group like this one.
They give me this Jimmi Hendrix vibe which is great, and that's why I love them so much. Even though their first few albums only consist of a drum and an electric guitar the songs are still awesome. But the latest two or tree albums are amazing with the addition of additional instruments giving it more noise. Just amazing
And of course it wouldn't be me if I didn't put a song from my favourite band, the best band ever.
What do I say, it's Queen dammit, the best band ever! No band that I have listened to has even come CLOSE to that level of respect and adoration for their music as Queen has. It's just sublime. Ranging from rock to waltz-like songs, they played it all and each and every one is just brilliant. Not to mention that Freddie has sung with Monserrat Cabelle giving birth to my second most favourite song.

Ok, even though it's painfully obvious that I love rock and metal music, there is one musician that I absolutely adore and he is not a rock musician, it's a pop musician. The guy I'm talking about is Cee Lo Green.
The first time I heard him he was actually know as Gnarls Barkley and the song was, you guessed it, Crazy.
I heard this song before I became a rock and metal fan. Back than I was listening to Eminem, few songs of 50 Cent, Missy Elliot, Gorillaz and so on. Yes, I was listening to rap, hard to imagine. But even today I absolutely love listening to this song. Probably because there is just something in funky songs that keeps me going. However after the song Crazy I haven't heard him for a WHILE. And about half a year ago I heard this.
When I heard this he instantly became my favourite pop singer, the only one. If there were more singers like him I would probably listen to more pop songs. But so far he is the only pop singer I love and I will continue to listen to old school rock.

I've had The Shins album on my iPhone for ages but only recently gave it a go and this track has got me obsessed.
This song apparently has a few years in it now but I only recently discovered it thanks to Becky and I'm absolutely in love with it.
