Well, I know that you need to have about 15 posts to have the ability to PM, but where can I post to get to PM?

    As it currently stands, this forum does not have a 'spam' section which allows you to needlessly post in order to gain the ability to send private messages. You'll have to post 5 legitimate posts in order to gain the required 15. I believe that answers your question.

This post limit should kind of be abandoned. Due to the fact that a newbie might have some questions and if no one is online then he needs to spam just to PM someone.

    The post limit for Private Messages wasn't always in place, but it has been implemented due to Spam advertising via PM. The limit stands in order to prevent that; 15 posts is hardly that many anyway, most users can achieve it within a couple of days. If they have any questions, all of staff is available through Skype, and we are in the chatbox on occasion.

Hmm very true but many don't have skype and won't download it due to other things. I would just recommend lowering it to 5 posts, not many people who want to advertise would post 5 times just to pm...also makes it easier for new people who want to roleplay.

I agree with Drew. With school starting back up (I go to school from 6;30 to about 4:00), I don't have time to get onto Skype (I don't have one for that matter) and get onto the discussion board because of the fact that I have homework every night. Winged Blade, please take this into consideration...?

Well Skull you're only one post away from being able to PM.

With that said, changing the limit to 10 or 5 is acceptable.

Late reply on this, but if new members have questions they can post them right here in Forum Assistance as you've just done, there's no need to pm for that and so there's no real important reason to change it.
