Mission:

It was still early in the morning, the sun was still rising and mist was in the air. It was quite odd weather for the Fire Country, considering it wasn't the Mist Country it was weird that their mist drifted away and ended on Konoha's turf. Kyran just left the Konoha village, looking to complete the mission he just started. Hopefully it would be over in a short while as he didn't really like being that far from the village.

Dashing through the tree's at a speed that can hardly be seen by any walking bystander, Kyran was heading towards the docks where the fiancé is meant to have a boat. According to the woman the man was meant to be on a fishing trip but probably got lost, luckily for him, Kyran generally knew the way he was heading. This made it easy for him to navigate other people and also made it easy for himself to get to places. Kyran remembering looking at a map which had the entire Fire Country drew on, this made it easy for him to navigate his way there. Jumping from branch to branch, he passed many tree's and animals on his way there. In fact he just passed the place that he first met his summon, Desu. That was a fascinating experience for him self and probably for Desu her self as she was a pup and never gave her self as a summon before. After many jumping, he stopped on a branch and took a quick breather before checking the way he was going was correct. After adjusting his direction, he began to jump again.

After 10 minutes of branch hopping, a road presented it self to Kyran. Jumping down from the tree, he landed on the road and began to walk down it. There was a sign pointing to the docks which he followed, he wasn't in much rush so he thought he would gather his strength and stamina for the next part of the mission. Arriving at the docks, he thought it would be best if he sniffed out the dock master, walking past many boats which were an array of colours, sizes and patterns he was at the office. Knocking on the door, there was a grunt that came behind it and followed again with another grunt. Seeing it as an invitation to come in, Kyran pushed open the door to see the dock master behind his desk "Hi, I'm looking for a fisher. Has a white boat with a yellow stripe going across it, I was hoping that you could tell me the direction he went in?". The office was decorated in a oddly manner, it had fishnets hooked around the desk and fish mounted on the walls, supposedly fish that he caught and was very proud about.

"Yesh, I would be gladarddd to shelp you. He headiling toshwards seast!" the man was obviously very drunk and out of his mind. But hopefully his intel was correct "umm...thankyou sir!" closing the door behind him, he looked left and right 'Well that was a strange experience'. Kyran then made his way towards the docks so he could borrow someones boat.

Walking down the docks he noticed a small boat, enough for two men, probably enough for three depending on the size of the other person. It had a small engine at the back so it didn't need to be powered by the person wanting to use it, looking around there was no one in sight and the mist was wearing off but still enough to cloud Kyran from borrowing the boat, obviously people around would hear the roar of the engine but hopefully none of those people would be the owner of it. Jumping into the two man vessel, he pulled the string that started the engine. It growled to life, Kyran then untied the roped that attached the boat to the dock and then they took off. Using the small wooden handle that was part of the boat, Kyran was able to steer in the right direction. He faced the boat so it was heading east where the man in the office said the fiancé went.

The air finally became clean again, thus meaning that he could see his surroundings. Turning off the engine he stood up and looked around the entire area, no sign of nothing. 'This is hopeless' sitting down, he put his head in his hand, what else could he do. Should he go on or should he turn around and deem the mission a failure? No. "I shall never fail a mission! That is a promise" he shot up and titled his head up towards the clouds. Looking back down a small thing came into his eye sight, it looked like a little boat, could just be another fisher but Kyran had to find this man. So sitting back down he turned the engine back on and made his way towards the boat. As they were coming closer to it, the colour's sprung into action. A white boat with a yellow stripe. That was it!

Coming closer to it, he turned off the engine once again so it was just drifting towards the fiance and then he swung it around so the sides hit together causing Kyran's boat to stop. Jumping onto the other boat he looked at the man who looked starved and tired "I've been sent by your fiancée to find you, hop onto my boat and I'll take you home". A weakened smile appeared across the man's face, Kyran put the mans arm across his own shoulder and helped him onto the borrowed boat. Once the fiance was secured, Kyran jumped back in, started the engine then headed back towards the docks.

"Any longer and you would of starved to death. Luckily I just about found you in time....here's a blanket to keep you warm" picking up a blanket that was on the boat, he handed it to the man who then continued to wrap it around himself. 'Here I come home'. The mission wasn't a success yet as they had not yet returned to Konoha, anything could happen on the way. Un-likely, but in this world anything was possible, anything.

Kyran just rescued the missing fiance, hopefully the woman at home would be extremely happy to see him. Water was being splashed behind them as the boat surged through the sea, the mist had been lifted from the Fire Country now so it would be easier for Kyran to find the docks and park this little boat. Looking at the fiance, he was curled up on one of the seats with the blanket wrapped around him. The man must of been freezing out there, it's quite cold at night but the water doesn't exactly help make it warm. "Must of been freezing out there. I'm glad you are all right though, wouldn't exactly be good if I returned you in an ice block" Kyran said with a little chuckle in his throat, the man just about let out a little laugh before hushing up again. Sadly for him Kyran didn't have the Katon affinity, so there wasn't a jutsu he knew that could warm the poor man up.

They hadn't been travelling long but the docks had already came into view, quite lucky that the fiance didn't get drifted out even more, could of ended in another country or something. That would of been quite a journey for Kyran to do, all the way to a different country that would just be too long. Plus he wouldn't be able to attend it on his own as a mission in another country would be a higher rank. "Not long now until we get you home." Kyran thought it would be good to re-assure the man so that's why he just spoke those words to him. They were quite close to the docks now, this is when he turned off the engine so it would slow down before it hit the docks.

As it drifted into the docks, Kyran grabbed the rope off the boat and jumped onto the dock. He tied the rope around a wooden bollard and secured it, he then continued to get the fiance out of the boat and safely on the wooden docks. Kyran took out some yen and left it on the boat for the owner, it was much like he rented the boat. Without the owner actually knowing that he took it, hopefully the owner would never realise that it had been borrowed, even if Kyran was a ninja of Konoha many people still kicked off at them for doing the right thing. This was one of the things that Kyran actually hated about the human population, there were many more like how they think they are better then others, it really annoyed him.

The walk back to Konoha would be a slow one due to the man's strength, Kyran would of picked him up but as he was a lot larger man than himself, there was really no point as the pace would be the same. Plus both them walking wouldn't drain Kyran's strength and he needed it just in case thieves sabotaged them.

With the man's arm across Kyran's back, they slowly made their way towards the Konoha village. The sun was shining through the clouds upon the Fire Country, peeking down on to Kyran and his rescue e, the road was a long one back to the village and it didn't help that the man couldn't walk properly. 'I should of took a coach or something. Would be easier and less straining then carrying this dead weight.' The mission started out quite good, he had to gain intel and then find the person, but this part was not worth the mission. It was a drag, also he was basically dragging someone across the road, oh the irony was catastrophic. "We better give you a rest, don't want you to faint on me", making their way to a nearby tree, he lay the man up against the tree. Taking a water bottle from his back pack, he opened it and then helped the man get the water down his throat. The water was originally for Kyran if he got thirsty but the man needed it more then he did.

After a 10 minute rest, he helped the dead weight up to his feet. Returning to their original position, they began to walk towards Konoha again. It took some time to get up to their original pace which wasn't fast anyway but it was better then the baby steps they were taking before. It just turned mid-day as the sun was at it's highest point in the sky, Kyran looked up at it as the sun rays peeked through the white clouds that gave some coldness to the country. 'Please let this just be over. This is such a bore!.

20 minutes passed by and the village gates came into action, they were quite a distance away but still, it was in their sight. A smile appeared on Kyran's face, they were nearly there, he would soon be home and sipping on some orange juice while sitting down and resting, he hadn't done much today but carrying this over sized man from the docks to the village was a fight in its self. It tested his strength and his muscle durability, gladly his muscles hadn't gave way to the weight of the fiance. As his mind had wondered he didn't realise that they reached the gates, a few more steps and they were back in Konoha, the man's partner was there to greet him. The woman ran up to him and hugged the lost man, she turned to Kyran "Thankyou so much!. Kyran then smiled and made his way to mission central to collect his money and finally get a rest.

Kyran arrived home and dropped onto the couch, he looked up to the ceiling and smiled. Closing his tried eyes, he drifted off to a long, well earned sleep.
