You're walking down the road in the cool night air, when a ways up the path you see something bright split the darkness. A spark of curiosity ignites in your mind, and grows with every step onwards; feeding off the growing mysterious light. As you approach the source, it slowly becomes clearer; the vague shape of a tall dark box, a small metal slot begging for payment, a large flap, a brilliantly lit up face holding images of shelves overflowing with delicious treats and odd objects, and a small luminescent plaque reading "The Mystery Machine". Drawn in like an insect to a bug zapper in the otherwise smothering darkness of the night, you close all distance between yourself and your curious find. The vending machine whirs quietly, and as you press a palm to its surface while trying to more closely inspect the image of its wares, you're taken aback by the barest of beats; slow, steady, rhythmic, permeating its warm, humming self. You retreat a step and circle the curious device like a vulture searching for some scraps of reason, only to find no obvious power source, nor cords; just an oddly inviting mechanical vendor standing alone in the night. Upon returning full circle to the front of the machine, you stare in puzzlement. You might have been uneasy if it didn't seem so inexplicably welcoming, and without thinking you find yourself reaching for your wallet. You search for some kind of menu or price list, not being surprised when you find nothing of the sort. Gingerly you reach forward, money in hand, to full fill the little machine's silent plea for you to stop and buy some of its wares...

This is a game, and it is dead simple; the first person to post puts a quarter (or dime, or pence, or whatever it is you choose to use as currency) into the Mystery Machine and the next person to post afterwards tells them what they got, before paying the machine to continue the cycle. Sound fun?

The machine whirs to live as if it hadn't seen a friendly face in a long time. It jumps up and down as the machine threatens to fall on you only to stop entirely. It seems to have died taking your money away. A dropping noise is heard as it clunks to the bottom of the machine. You pick up the mysterious object only find you got a rock. A rock? A ROCK?! A ROOOOOCK?!

Kiseki throws a dollar into the machine

The machine clicks and whirs as it eats your money, mechanical sounds like those of thundering pistons blast through your ears as the very earth below you seems to shake. Then all at once it stops and all is still and quiet once more, before a cheery ding rings out as the machine spits out Kiseki's prize; a bright hand knitted sweater, adorned with obnoxious geometric patterns and the knitted images of fat cows.
