PostSubject: Scouting the Market Square [Open] Scouting the Market Square [Open] EmptySun 21 Oct 2012, 7:01 pm

Though Mugen was a stranger to these new lands, he was never inexperienced when it came to staying alive, especially when surrounded by the crowded streets of Konohagakure's market district. The day was pleasantly sunny as he preceded to make his way down the hustle and bustle of the village street. This weather made the ideal conditions for sizing up his targets, as Mugen looked about the numerous amounts of people, looking for an easy score. Knowing all too well that this was not the most honorable profession, Mugen had giving up trying to appeal to a world that hated him from the start. After all he was only here for one reason, protection, and if he had to trade his services as a shinobi to attain it then so be it. He was on the run from some less than friendly people, and the longer he could stay out of arms reach of them the better. "Man these people are so annoying...I can't believe they can be as carefree as they are." Mugen said with a deep sigh of boredom as a gleeful smile quickly replaced his under excited tone.

He had finally discovered the perfect mark for which to gain some living expenses from. There stood a merchant about ten meters ahead looking over the merchandise they where selling at an antique shop. Upon closer inspection his wears consisted of a satin green robes draped across his body, his hands cloaked with diamond encrusted rings which must have costed a pretty penny to say the least. As the merchant finished his business with the vendor, he turned an began to head in Mugen's direction. Sizing up his approach to the man, Mugen could see the merchants's Ryō pouch tucked gingerly between the his hip and forearm, which he had left wide open for the taking. "Heh heh, god I love stupid people." Mugen mumbled to himself as he ran into the older gentleman's shoulder, snatching the pouch with his free hand and quickly masking it from sight by pulling it into his Gi. "Hey watch it buddy!" the merchant shouted in an angered tone, as Mugen responded with a sympathetic tone by saying "Sorry sir.." and walking away calmly.

With the pouch safely in hand, Mugen could tell from the weight alone how much of a score he had landed. Almost out of sight of the merchant, Mugen could hear the shouts of the man's screams in the distance "What the!? Help! I've been robbed!" as he blended in with a mob of villagers heading away from the scene the man was attracting for himself. A wide convicting smile could be witnessed across his face as Mugen snickered to himself and continued to scout for some more marks in which to land an easy score. After all, if you couldn't count on yourself for survival then why even be alive in the first place?...Mugen thought to himself for a brief moment before it finally dissipated from memory once more.

Even as he heard the scream Yoru looked from his scroll down at the crowd. Robbery was common in this area, none of the merchants really cared enough to guard their money as they have been told. The only thing that was a problem was the young man walking away with a smile on his face. Normally it wouldn't be his problem but he was decided he would do something was when he saw the ever memorable emblem of the village shinobi. With a sigh he rolled up his scroll and stashed it in his pack.

"Always when I start getting some real work done." With that he stood up and began following the person from the rooftops. Not really looking to injure any poor bystanders he began to formulate a simple plan. When he finally made his choice he jumped down into an ally a ways in front of the young man. Blending into the crowd as best as he could he made his way to the boy. Bumping into him just as he had done to the merchant Yoru snatched the very same purse and left a note that would taunt him into following.

With his plan in action Yoru made his way out of the crowd and off to a secluded field where he was sure the shinobi would follow and where he could teach him respect.

Continuing on with his self set mission, Mugen continued to eye up the potential victims of his trade while the sun still laid high within the sky. It was noon by this point and although he had already removed himself from the danger of the loud mouth merchant, Mugen could not shake the feeling that he was somehow being watched. This did nothing but make him feel a bit more on edge as he caught a glimpse of a strange shadow that had come from above him. Unsure of whether his adrenaline was pumping from the score or something else, Mugen dismissed the suspicion as he continued to walk along the market's pathway with a calm demeanor and a slight chuckle produced from his mouth.

As he made his way through the crowd nothing else seemed to be catching his eye, that was until he saw a taller boy heading his way, which was an odd site to see considering his white hair and shinobi attire. Mugen was quick to ignore the boy as they began to pass one another, although this quickly changed as the boy bumped into his right shoulder and a slight tug near his hip could be felt from where the Ryō pouch he had stolen was housed. Without a moments hesitation Mugen sprang into action towards the thief's sloppy handwork, quickly grabbing the boy's wrist and thrusting it upwards to form a pressure lock upon it. Due to the white haired boy's vulnerable positioned hand from reaching for the pouch this would easily be achieved. The pressure lock itself was not meant to harm, but merely to detain at this point and could be eliminated if the victim stepped backwards away from the user to straighten it. Mugen had never seen this shinobi before, but they appeared to both be from Konoha judging from his scarf. Regardless one thing was clearly apparent at this point, the boy defiantly had no experience in the ways of a thief.

While Mugen held onto the boy's wrist making sure not to cause too much of a scene, a wiley grin had formed about his face as he stared into the crimson colored eyes of the taller shinobi. With a mocking chuckle Mugen keep his face looking forward and inconspicuous so as not to draw too much attention, although still watching the boy from his peripherals before finally speaking "Yo..if your gonna be a thief...at least be decent at it. Also try not to stand out so much...ya freak!" in a belligerent tone and waiting for a response.

Though he was sure that he wouldnt be caught he wasnt extremely surprised when the thiefs hand wrapped around his wrist and placed it in the lock. However the speed in which he placed him into the lock did surprise him. This individual apparently had combat training if they can move this quickly. "Since when has it been ok to steal from the people of this village? Whether they be rich morons or not it is still wrong. For that reason I will not allow you to go without recieving punishment." Sliding the kunai from his sleeve he goes for a slash aimed at his face. Though he knows it will probably be avoided he used it as a perfect distraction as he lifted his foot and brought it down on his opponents knee. If only to break his opponents hold so he could get a fair distance from his opponent.

Satisfied with the results of his actions up until this point, Mugen continued to study the boy's reactions for any actions he may try to make up until this point. Surely the boy wouldn't cause too much of disturbance or try anything foolish that would jeopardize the safety of the villagers that continued to pass by them on the crowded market streets. Listening to the the boys words did nothing but make Mugen's wiley grin expand ever wider as he began to speak "Ha ha ha you really are a stupid bitch aren't ya? You really think I give a rats ass about these people?...there nothing more than hungry dogs yo...their loyalty never lasts." in a cold and wicked tone, still keeping alert of what might happen next. But alas, Mugen had given the boy too much credit as he watched his hypocritical actions towards him.

The white haired boy had pulled a kunai from his sleeve as his hand guided it towards Mugen's face. Clearly the boy was aiming to kill, although trying to use such physical attacks would prove futile due to the boys one huge mistake. "Trust me boy, playing the hero will only get you killed!" Mugen shouted in an angered tone as he flexed his left hand a certain way to release one of his Heaven's Fangs to block the kunai away, as he sprang forth from his wrist. At the same time the boy had made a sluggish attempt at lifting his foot to kick towards Mugen's knee, which only made Mugen laugh. The boy was clearly no Taijutsu user from what he could see, for he had just unbalanced himself leaving him wide open for what was to come next.

Seeing as he still had the lock on the boy's wrist and the kunai had been deflected with a flurry of sparks, Mugen simply tilted the pressure locked hand further upwards as he took a step towards the boy to avoid the incoming kick. Acting quickly Mugen launch a quick sweep towards the back of the boy's only leg that supported his body's balance. Due to the backwards force Mugen had created on the boy from the pressure lock, as well as the deflection of the kunai attack he was confident his attack would land with full effect. If all went according to plan the boy would be on the flat of his back and open for further attacks. Once this was achieved Mugen would press his leg down upon the boy's only free arm, leaving him at the mercy of his Heaven's Fang pointed towards the boy's neck. All that could be done now is see the results of his Taijutsu, and see what fruits it would produce.

As he hit the ground Yoru let out a gasp of shock but knowing he had to act quickly he performed the one handed seal that was required for the jutsu."Ikite iru sukāfu!" With the completion of the jutsu his scarf came to life and lashed out at the opponent in hopes of wrapping it way up his body and binding him from performing the killing blow. However not leaving it to just that Yoru bent his body at on odd angle in hopes of kicking his opponent in the groin to get him off of him. However even with all of his attempts to get the opponent off him he hopes that someone would come along and help him from his current predicament. Yet when he looked around all he saw were villagers watching as he was put in this horrible position that could possibly be his death.

After his trip to the training field, he could hear a couple of people talking about something going on in the streets. He was not sure what was going on, though it seemed as if something had caused two people to start a fight in the middle of the streets of Konohagakure, which was weird to him. It seemed to him that humans were much stranger then animals, because in the world of animals, there was no such thing as a fight without reason. Animals fought over territory, food and most importantly, for the survival of themselves and their cubs. Yoroi had not been raised by people, he had been raised by animals and knew only the wilds, the emotions and feelings of humans doing nothing other then annoy him. Checking out what had been going on, he could see two boys fighting one another, one seemingly attacking the other with bladed weaponry, the other trying to defend himself by having his scarf wrapping around him. He did not see how the scarf would protect him in time, seeing as how the blade was getting dangerously close to the one on the ground. It just seemed weird that they did this kind of stuff so close to other people, it was just not the kind of thing one should just put out there, everyone being able to see them and report them to the authorities. He knew that he had the ability to help the two and keep them from killing each other, though it was not the kind of thing he usually did, helping people not being something he did all that often. Knowing their names and reasons would have been very useful, though it was enough to know that people should not kill one another in a crowded area. As the bones inside of his body started moving as he started moving from the crowd into the street, he knew what he had to do in order to make this thing fly by.

Stepping in with his naturally high speed, the bones in his body hardened, making his upper body area, arms and lower legs incredibly durable. He was not stupid, seeing as the blades did not need to puncture his body, because if the man would try, chances were that Yoroi would kill him for it. As he stepped in, he pushed one his knuckles against the side of the attacking arm, attempting to push it away as he did. At the same time, he kept his knee on the downed person’s stomach, pointing his other hand at the offensive guys stomach. From this stance, he could kill the both of them if one of them tried making any steps of offense, having formed small bone bullets in his fingers of the hand pointed at the guy’s chest. It was not yet visible that he had any form of bone enhancements at all, he just knew that if the guy would try to attack him with his bladed weapons, he would have his chest pierced by multiple bullets fired from close range. Then again, if the one on the ground would try to attack him, he could just extend the bone in his leg and rip his organs to shreds, meaning the both would be wise to just stop moving and do as he asked of them.
Both of you stop moving now, and keep any means of offense to yourself. If one of you makes any offensive moves or tries to back out, I will kill you. If you try to weave seals or angle your weapons, you will die. Now, explain yourselves and you can leaveYoroi said, keeping the message clear. He knew that he had plenty of chakra ready, and was incredibly durable, also having the physical speed and the ability to grow his bones so fast that they might not be able to respond. He had no intention to hurt either of them, but he would hurt them if they chose to attack him.

As Yoru's scarf wrapped around his opponents arms binding him from attacking he felt a new foot place on his chest. Looking up he saw the person who entered the fray. Though he felt like fighting back he knew that being where he was left him at a disadvantage. However he still kept his scarf wrapped tightly around his opponents arm."That individual there is stealing from the merchants. I was merely trying to teach him not to do that. Now if you would not mind lifting your foot off me. I would like to get up." Slightly annoyed that the individuals foot was on him at all he understood why he was doing it. However he felt that he did not stand much of a chance if both of them decided to attack him. His best chance now was to try and convince this new person to join his side and maybe take this person down.

[[It wasn't your turn to post Yoruyamamoto]]

Mugen watched the results of his Taijutsu as the boy had hit the ground hard like he had predicted, which only brought a smile to his face at the boy's ignorance of close quarters figthting. Although Mugen did have to give his opponent credit, for even after being put into such a circumstance he was still willing to fight as he flailed his legs in an attempt to kick him as he started to bring his Heaven's Fang to rest upon the boys neck. Ironically enough Mugen had no intentions of killing a fellow shinobi of the village, merely seeking to put the boy in his rightful place would be more than enough for him. Although before Mugen had time to bring his blade close, his attempts to do so where thwarted by another shinobi of the village that had begun his assault into the scene that had quickly been escalated. Peering back, the turquoise haired boy knocked his Heaven's Fang away from the white haired boy's neck and Mugen could see that this one had speed that was on par with that of himself, while Mugen just grinned at his defense and focused a small amount of chakra to the key muscles of his body.

Mugen's speed increased dramatically for a brief while as he quickly vaulted a good five meters away from where the scuffle had occurred, leaving the white haired boy pinned beneath the weight of the turquoise haired boy's actions. Although Mugen would attempt to leave the white haired boy a small punishment during his escape, for he would break/dislocate his wrist that had been in Mugen's control the entire time. This would easily be achieved for him due to the speed he was moving and its overextended rotation during his somersault away from the two. The break itself was not meant to cause any permanent damage and could easily be repaired by a medic and few days of rest. All in all his punishment would also work in his favor in case this little scuffle continued, as he would be unable to form any hand seals for any future jutsu if it was successful. Safe from harm for the time being, Mugen listened to the words of the turquoise haired boy from a safe distance surrounded by other onlookers in the crowd. With obnoxious chuckle and wiley grin Mugen responded to the boy's comments "Ha ha ha...why don't you ask the thief over there yo!...The bitch tried to rob me and paid the price for it!...All I was doing was defending myself, ask anyone here yo." in a snapping tone as he flex his hand to retract the Heaven's Fang back to its proper place, while lifting the same arm to point at the white haired shinobi on the ground. Trying to bring this situation to a more civil conclusion, Mugen could find no better method than to shift the blame to the other shinobi. After all what better way to do so than by exploiting the poor skills of a bad thief, while he waited for the for a response from the two shinobi, remaining ever ready for any actions they may try to make.

He could tell that this guy was about as fast as he was too, which was rather interesting to see out here in the village of the leaf. Watching how he just broke the guy’s arm while jumping back, something he would not just let slip right now. He could tell that it would hurt a great deal, though things like that would not make any difference when fighting against Yoroi. The way in which he was speaking to him annoyed him for some reason, and it seemed like he knew his name too. He referred to him as Yo, even though that was only a part of his name, and that just further pissed him off. Yoroi did not know the slightest thing about the different manners of speech among human, and as such did not know that the guy did not refer to his name, but was just speaking in a dialect he didn’t understand. As the bone snapped, his instincts awakened inside of him, and he dashed toward the kid with his full speed, making use of the reduction in speed required for him to twist the white haired kids arm to the point of breaking. He’d have to stay within range in order for him to make contact and break it before he could make his way back to safety. It seemed like the best thing to not enter any kind of combat when things had already gotten this far, and it seemed by far the best solution, especially after the information he had just received.

This meant that he no longer held the guy with the white hair down, and rather stood in the center of the two people that had been fighting, roughly two meters between him and each Genin. Standing sideways, he would be able to keep the two from simply reaching one another and continue fighting each other. If what he had been told was true, one of them was a thief while the other would not hesitate to kill someone from his very own village, which seemed rather weird to him. At least in the wild, animals had a reason to fight or kill another from their own den, either as a rite of passage into adulthood, or to take the spot of the pack Alpha. Even for humans, it seemed weird to kill someone for no reason at all, or to kill someone because of a little inconvenience like catching a thief in the act. Capable of keeping the both of them in mind, he came back to what had been on his mind for a while, and needed to come out.
“My name is not Yo…” he replied, taking in what he had told him and keeping up a fierce stance, as if he was ready to jump and lash out at the first one that would aim to continue. He understood the human psyche pretty well, seeing as he did not grow up in it, and had years to get used to them and their behavior, like a predator stalking it’s prey, learning their routines and weaknesses. Not sure about what he should be doing in this case, he figured it’d be a good idea to just hear both sides of the story, if the other guy had something he wanted to say.

“If he did steal from you, have fun killing him. Now, if you have anything to say for yourself, speak up now so you can get that hand looked at” Yoroi said, not going to care too much if someone was just a common thief. In the animal realms, a wolf stealing food from an alpha meant punishment, while a wolf from a different pack stealing from another meant death, and he guessed that something similar would apply to this case too. He did not know either one of them well enough to care if one lived or died, and this way, he could be on his way soon enough. No one would be allowed to leave until this thing was sorted out, and he would have gained the time to fix this situation, knowing that no one really enjoyed it when people would fight in the streets of the village like that. No, one of them had already been taken down, and he could not let this fighting continue any longer. In a sudden move, he fired several bullets out of his right hand, aimed at the other kid's knees, figuring a solid shot to puncture the knee cap would surely make good work of this problem.

Where are you getting 48 hours from? Rule 6 of the shinobi system clearly states that I have 72 hours to post a reply before such things can auto-hit. If you don't believe me just look yourself.

I'm sorry about the wait, but my career doesn't always allow me to post everyday like most people.

You still need to edit, for 2 possible scenario's. You really need to pick one of the two, because the way in which you did things is godmodding, doing too much things you simply could not do in one go.

1.
You break his wrist, but due to me attacking you and Yoru you will get caught in the scarf, seeing as I punched your blade away.

2.
You choose to not break his wrist and cut the scarf, and get away.

I can edit for option 2 which sounds reasonable, but tell me how he is using ninjutsu when I have his wrist and he does not have the one handed seals SC? I'll make an edit as soon as you can give me the answer so I only have to do it once. It just seems like this whole thing is he got into trouble in a topic, and the only reason you jumped into the topic is to correct his mistakes lol. Especially when you guys are so quick to wanna skip me and auto hit.

Yes, it seems he lacks that,

I thought I saw it on his jutsu, but he seems to lack that, meaning he can't do the Scarf thing. That means you'll just have to dodge me.

[So, I have been waiting for months now, so I am going to Autohit and leave so I can actually do stuff again. Sorry for the rash ending, but it's IC and it was an uncountered attack, and as I said before, it's been since November....]

As the bones in the tips of his fingers fired at a rapid pace, the other guy that seemed so intent on hurting the white haired kid on the ground behind him would feel a stinging pain that would move through his entire body a few seconds after impact. With a loud crack, the bullets pierced his knee cap and lodged themselves into the soft tissue behind it, keeping him from continuing this fight with the white haired kid. If he did choose to continue fighting, he would have to deal with the excessive hemorrhaging caused by moving with his knee in such a bad condition. Now both sides had a part of their body broken, and hopefully for the villagers in the street this would mean that neither one of them would continue fighting. Turning around without even giving the guy another look, he had determined that he was not worth spending any more time on. Turning his attention to one of the people that had gotten closer in order to see what had happened, the least thing he could do was ask someone to look after the kids that were either bleeding or in agonizing pain. "You should get a Medic for that kid, and garbage disposal to take care of the trash.." he said in a cold tone, slowly walking away from the scene. People should call him by his real name, and not make up stupid names like Yo. If they didn't know what it was, they could either ask or shut up, though that was too late for the loud mouthed guy. He was on his bad side now, though the white haired kid was not all that bad. Walking back towards the city gate, he'd just go back to training while the bones that had been shot out of his fingertips already reformed and replaced the old ones.
