SAIKO, AKKI.

THE INFO.

Name:Saiko, Akki
Nickname: known to friends and family as Kobito (Translates as dwarf)
Age:15
Gender:Female
Appearance: Akki stands at 4ft and 3 inches in height and has seemed to have stopped growing. She is slim and quite wiry.
Akki's hair is long and flowing and dyed a light blue to match the sky. her eyes are a deep hazel or one is, Akki is blind in her left eye which is a milky white mixed with a blood red. She has a scar running from the top of her left eye down to the bottom of her left cheek.

Akki looks after her appearance alot, making sure her skin is clean and her hair shiney and straight, she also has a bit of an obsession with her clothes.

Akki will be seen in a variety of outfits sometimes changing several times a day, her main outfit isn't much of an outfit at all. A strappy top made from black crossed belts and white lace which drops down low in the back stretching to her feet. She wears flowing sleeves on her arms connected to her top by straps. Her boots are white with black tips. On her lower torso she wears white shorts that come to just above the thigh. From time to time Akki will be seen wearing a black hood which covers her eyes, this only happens on days when she is feeling very self conscious

Personality:Akki is quite a nervous person who stuggles to socialize with others . She likes to keep her self to herself mostly and when she talks it is normally quiet and few words are said.This is mainly because she is self conscious of her appearance her blind eye and scar disgust her. so she goes to great lengths to make everything else look perfect, it almost borders on obsession.

There are a few situations where Akki will come across confident and proud. Akki loves to sing never in public but those have overheard her say that she seems like a different person. She is also like a new Akki when it comes to learning and training, because of her lack of height she works twice as hard as those who have better reach and more height so that she won't fail.

Akki has a deep fear of water as she cannot swim and has never found the confidence to learn, her fear is so bad that when confronted by a pool of water or the thought of being submerged she freezes on the spot and withdraws into her own head. This of course has caused problems with certain jutsu such as being able to walk on water. One of her big worries is how she will react when face with a water based jutu.

In her spare time Akki loves to curl up with a good book, or spend time with her cats Mr Moggy and Twitch.
Akki's goal in life is to become the best Kunoichi she can,and to make as many friends as possible.

All in all Akki is a caring person and would love to help as many people as possible, she doesnt really agree with violence but put up with it because she knows that its part of the Shinobi life style. She knows that if she was more confident she would be a better ninja but some things are easier said than done.

Combat Style:Akki likes to work in a support role using her jutsu to protect others on the battlefield, Akki would rather heal and help that physically injure someone but if push comes to shove then she will stand tall and hold her own but preferably from a distance, she understands she is weaker than most and her blindness in one eye is a disadvantage.

When backed into a corner Akki will use her small height to her advantage dodging and weaving. This height also makes her less easy to spot and light on her feet meaning she is good at sneaking and getting around to heal others.

THE BACKGROUND.

History: Birth
Akki was born into a modest family with modest belongings her father was a wood worker and tradesman, her mother ran a small nursery for the local children so that their parents could get things done. When Akki was born it was the greatest day of her parents life, they had been trying for a child for many years with no luck.

Akki's birth was fairly complex, her mother hemoraged during birth while Akki's umbilical chord was wrapped around her neck, Medical ninja were called in to help out, saving Akki and her mother, due to the damage done Akki's mother was layed up in bed constantly from then on leaving Akki's father to look after the new born baby.

Younger years
Things quickly became hard for the Saiko family, with Akki's mother unable to do anything and her father looking after her, the family started to struggle, money stopped coming in and food was getting hard to afford, Akki's father had to start bringing young Akki to any handyman jobs that he could get but his reputation was waning and jobs going to anyone who was more available. Times were tough but this wouldn't stop the Saiko family.

From and early age it was obvious that Akki was going to be a bright. She was walking and talking quickly and constantly asking questions from the moment it was possible. Accompanying her father around was teaching her a little of crafting things, and learning of her mothers ailments is what made Akki decide from a very young age that she wanted to help people.

As Akki grew she read book upon book and at the age of 5 had already decided she was going to become a Medical Kunoichi one of the best there was, but fate was about to throw a spanner into the works and bring a double dose of trouble for the Saiko's. Akki's mother never did recover and slowly faded away dying in the night, Akki's father fell into a deep depression and money stopped coming in meaning Akki had to do something. At the age of 6 she started helping out neighbours and family friends for food or money. While helping a good friend of her fathers by delivering some vegetables, Akki was stopped by 4 boys twice her age they wanted to take what she had. Akki stood her ground and refused which gained her a beating, just when she thought that it was all over the leader of the group came and stood over her an evil look in his eye and a sharp shard of glass in his hand, without a second thought he plunged it deep into Akki's left eye and just left her to bleed. Akki screamed at the top of her lungs in pain, it wasn't long until someone found her and took her to hospital. Her wound was treated but the sight in her eye would never return she would be forever scarred and left with a milky white eye with flecks of red through it.

After this Akki was a changed person, she would jump at the slightest noise, she had also grown very timid and withdrawn talking to no one but the two cats that her father had given her after she came home from the hospital and had started to recover. Even through all this Akki still had a dream she still wanted to help other and become the Kunoichi she had always dreamed, so after much begging her father allowed her to join the Shinobi Academy, even if she was a little older than most of the new starts.

Academy Days
To say that for Akki the academy was no walk in the park was an understatement, it was a nightmare not only was she older than most of the other people in her class, her timid nature and sheer nervousness made it hell for her to be around other people. It wasn't until a certain friendly teacher decided to give Akki help after class that she started to grow and improve. Granted her ninjutsu wasn't the strongest but it wasn't the dangerous stuff she wanted to learn, so instead she focused her time on learning the human anatomy from books and learning or Chakra points and Chakra flow and how best to apply Ninjutsu for support and healing. She knew from speaking to her father that it was Medical Ninja that saved her mother and her during her birth and it was this thought that spurred her on.

Akki worked day and night to learn what she could taking her private after class lessons and loving it. It was during normal acadamy times that she was having problems. She wasn't mixing with other children or socialising in the slightest
