| Urahara had been training very thoroughly for the past couple of months. Frankly, he was sick and tired of always conforming to the elder's wishes. He wasn't being selfish or childish but they didn't understand that sometimes a break was what was needed in order for success as a shinobi. Without reason or motivation then why would someone want to commit themselves to reviving a clan? He sighed and laid his head back on in the grass. He did not come here to be alone from others but to rather escape from the elder councilmen, he was sure this was the best place to hide from them.
He had been laying there for what seemed like days while in truth he had been there for a vast expanse of time he hadn't spent days there, though with this land's beauty why wouldn't anyone want to stay here for that long? In truth he had been laying in the same spot for five hours straight, content to listen to the sound of the waterfall and the noises emitted from the surrounding nature. It was a serene day, a nice day, and overall the day that happiness was borne from. As Urahara lay there he had his feet propped, one leg over the other, his geta sandals hung by the strap between his toes. His cane (sword benihime) was in his grip and his hat dipped over his eyes, blocking the sun as he snoozed.
His hat was a white bucket hat with green strips, from a distance it would appear is if he were wearing a spearmint atop his head. The rest of his clothing was in various shades of green, all in a loose fabric about his person. All in all he was very comfortable and the only thing that could possibly make him move was by the order of a superior, though the amount at which he moved would be measured by the overall influence of said superior.
It was mildly warm out, not entirely to hot but if dressed like Urahara then you might have a light sweat about you. Despite being comfortable he was moist with sweat as it his cloths stuck about him. He sat up then when he heard footsteps in the distance. He wasn't alarmed but simply curious as he clutched the handle of his cane (sword benihime), waiting for whomever it was to appear from the cover of trees that blocked the trail.

| Seiga jogged lightly over the grass weaving in and out of the trees before finally stopping to see what looked like a person wearing a mint on their head. Snickering he would slow to a stop and wipe the light sweat that had accumulated on his forehead from his ten mile run and now five mile jog. Stepping up to the person he would spin lightly throwing himself down on the ground to lay there smiling upwards. "Hello" he offered the greeting to the fellow kumogakure ninja while trying to regain his normal breathing pattern. Smiling as he regained his composure he would sit up and look the other ninja over "so what are you doing here?" he would ask as the first question. Then with a yawn and standing up to stretch out his muscles to keep them from cramping in the cool down period before he went for a fifteen mile walk. Turning his torso one way and then the other he would pose another question quickly to the other not wanting to sound disrespectful "what rank are you?" Quizzically he would watch the man with a weary eye before sitting across from him and grinning innocently as he looked about for his water bottle. |

| Urahara smiled at the boy who was a little bit younger than he. Trying to act friendly despite his bad mood. He was certain that he would not suceed to hide his annoyance but hoped that he would not convey it to this person. He stood up, using his cane as light support as he stood.
Ura did not need the cane and it was not a cane to begin with, just something in disguise. It was a habit that had developed in spite of himself, he tipped his bucket hat in greeting and said "My name is Urahara, Shuheii, I am a genin of Kumogakure, though I should be a Chuunin, may I ask your name?" his voice light and aloof, trying to assume his usual role as a weird but pleasent speaker.
Without waiting for the boy to answer his question he continued to speak "to answer your other question I was just enjoyin nature, i've been laying here for about five hours." He watched the boy look around for something, Ura wasn't sure what it was but then spotted a bottle lying a few feet away from the boy's hand.
Urahara lifted his cane in the air and pointed towards it, asking " Is that by chance what your looking for?" his voice inquisitive but not insulting or disrespectful. He noted that the boy was very sweaty and thought for a moment, he realized that he was resting on a very popular trail and assumed that the boy was probably doing some sort of excerise. Taking a breath to steady himself he asked "Not to be rude, but what where you doing up till now? You look a bit exhausted if you don't mind me saying."
Though Urahara's voice was light and innocent enough, his eyes were lightly curious but otherwise uninterested. He didn't dislike this boy, or anyone for that matter, but he was just so annoyed by his clan that his thoughts often strayed from what he was doing in real life. |

| Seiga literally leaped on the bottle pulling it open and draining the bottle of half its contents before dumping it on his head. Flicking his head from side to side the almost frozen water would fly about him in large circles, arching out to drop just short of the other boy. Smiling up he would keep one eye clinched shut "I'm just doing a little bit of running and jogging before I do anything serious for the day." Keeping his smile in place although it lowered at the sides slightly as he thought about what to do next. Flipping back onto his hands before launching himself up onto his feet to hold out one hand with a smile "I'm Koori, Seiga...also a Kumo genin."
Smiling brightly as the water continued to drip down over his shut eye and dripping down to leave slight water marks on his shirt. Without really waiting Seiga would jog in place occasionally wiping the water from his eyes and then slicking the longer strands of his hair from his face. Stopping he would look around taking in the fresh air and asking "so why are you here then?" Sitting back down on his haunches he would feel a slight tingle on his scalp as the wind picked up tousling his still slightly wet hair. Leaning his head back and shutting his eyes he would try and pinpoint exactly where the breeze was coming from on such a nice day. |

| All day, Miku had been cleaning her apartment. From the sweeping and mopping the floors to scrubbing her bathroom and kitchen. She washed her blankets which now layed clean on her bed and reorganized her fridge. It made her feel like a maid, which she did appear as with her simple spaghetti-strap ivory dress that ended right above her knees. It was something she could move rather comfortable in. While her hair hung down past her hips, bangs pinned back with a green hair barette, it was slightly out of place. Little strands of pinkish-reddish-orangish hair would twirl away from the rest. However, she was finally done cleaning. A relieved sigh was let out and she darted towards her front door, forgetting to even put on a pair of shoes.
She ran with an insanely wide grin on her face. 'No more cleaning!' Miku thought eagerly while running through the paths of Kumogakure. Many stares and confused looks came her way. She didn't care, though. The young kunoichi was just glad to be out of her apartment. Most people would have assumed she was some teenager running from her parents, but is was far from the truth. While she was only 5'3, her body was toned and shaped into that of a woman. Her eyes gleamed with experience in the way of that a ninja's would.
Out of the corner of her eye, she spot a rather nice looking area. A few trees were in the way, but she could just tell it was a peaceful place to relax. The grass looked incredibly green and she could only imagine what it would feel like against her. A beam of sunshine skimmed over the top of the trees and the sky's blue color clashed beautifully. Miku was automatically drawn to it. She jogged past the trees, hair swaying side to side and dress dancing with every move she made. The cool green grass felt so plush and soft against her bare feet. Miku passed the trees and arrived at a grassy area. She raised her hands in the air and jumped up and down. "I am free! Finally!" Miku stated loudly with much enthusiasm. She twirled and danced a little, only to then realize she was not alone.
Her happy dance stopped and she looked at the two boys as if to question how long they had been there. A silent moment passed before she grinned again, "Kukukuku! Well, hello there!" She laughed while waving at them. Miku was not the least embarrassed, just pleasantly surprised. |

| Ura laughed, amused at the boy's enthusiasm for the bottle. It was a laugh of genuine amusement, something Urahara had been in desperate need of. Ever since his father passed away he had been there but not there, in presence of body but not of mind. He spoke, but often it was bleak and with fake emotions. However this enthusiastic, bright and cheerful genin was making his day so far. He was grinning now, after his laughter subsided and watched as the boy ran in place without reason. He started to twirl his cane, another habit he had started since he received Benihime.
He took a deep breath, grasping the pleasant beauty and the warmth the day had brought. It was a cleansing and refreshing wisp of air, long in the needing of Urahara. Amusement and joy were etched upon his face; it had been a long time since it had reached his eyes, and not just his mouth.
Still twirling his cane when the boy asked his question and told him his name he replied his voice aloof and filled with un hurtful sarcasm "It is nice to meet you, Seiga-san. Oh, and my reasons for being here are my own, but, seeing as you asked so nicely I'll tell you. Well, one of the obvious reasons is that it’s a very nice day, another reason is that my clan has its own shinobi group, much like a village. I am the first of my clan to get formal training from a village, so now I’m stuck doing double work outs. Soo, I guess you could say I'm slacking off."
Urahara was interrupted mid sentence when a very pretty girl came dancing into view. Or better yet a girl with the body of a woman, Urahara wasn't sure for it wasn't his business to be sure. He smiled, he was sure she didn't know of their presence yet and wondered if she might be embarrassed.
He examined her and noticed that her feet were bare and then found himself wondering how soft women's feet were, he blushed a little but managed to collect himself before she realized they were both standing there. When she turned to greet them he noted the odd way she laughed and grinned in response, the cane he had been twirling suddenly launched into the air as he artfully made the bottom of the cane catch into the top of his bucket hat, lifting it off his head, then he began to spin the hat atop his cane.
Then to answer the girl's reply he spoke, tone amused "well, hello there to you, what brings you to this not so secluded spot?" Urahara asked, making a pun to himself because he had come here to be alone in the first place, thinking this to be a good hidden spot. However, the people who had joined him made up for his annoyance, perhaps this could be a good day, for once. Ura took note of the girls dress and then looked up at the sky, hazel eyes adverting his attention the birds. “Why were girls such a mystery” he thought to himself, having been confined in his compound for the better part of his life. |

| Seiga starred as someone burst into sight dancing, then he noticed it was a girl, a very pretty girl. Turning his head away slightly he would blush before turning to look at Urahara with a confused expression. Turning his hands over he would clench them into fists then unclench them with a small sigh, accidentally smashing the remains of his bottle he would look down as it made an odd squelch. Blushing again he would try and hide the mess from the two. Moving slowly he would take a step closer to the woman and smile holding out a hand "hello, I'm Koori, Seiga." Watching for a moment before nervously running a hand through his hair and grinning the youngest here he felt really nervous. Shuffling his feet he would begin running in place again occasionally looking at the two nervously. Turning his head to one side to cough lightly he would sit on in the grass fidgeting uncomfortably. |

| Miku looked at the two boys with interest. One of them twirled a hat on what appeared to by a cane, while the other seemed to have been jogging or the sort. She placed her hands behind her head and yawned. "Oh, I've just been cleaning for the past few hours. So, I'm finally done and I just couldn't wait to get a breath of fresh air!" Miku stated while smiling at the thought of not having to clean for another good month before it became too dirty or dusty. Her attention was then drawn to an extended hand. She looked at the boy who appeared to have been somewhat wet with water. Miku took the hand and shook. "Nice to meet you. I'm Miku Tetsumi. Jounin of Kumogakure." She stated while smiling at the boy.
It was then that she noticed how odd he was acting. He seemed to fidget and look between the her and the other boy. Was he shy? Was he nervous? She would have questioned his behavior but she decided to keep it friendly with a simple conversation. She did not want to appear too intruding. "So, what are you two guys doing?" Miku then realized she hadn't heard the other boy's name with the hat and cane. "Oh wait, I'm sorry. I didn't got your name! Kukukuku! What is it?" She asked, laughing in between to remain a friendly vibe. Miku did not wish to cause any tension nor awkwardness.
Despite the warm weather, a nice cool breeze blew by. Her dress and haired blew together in the wind. She mentally pat herself on the back for always wearing a hair barette to pin her bangs back. Never did her long bangs get in the way and onto her face. The leaves in the trees rustled slightly and barely wiggled the short plush grass. It was calming. Miku smiled brightly at the two, enjoying some of the company. |

| Ura twirling the hat on his cane stopped his cane wielding hand and pushed up on it, the hat flew off and Urahara propped his neck out, the hat landing neatly on his head with a poofing noise. He smiled and then began to twirl his cane again, his left hand outstretched in greeting. "My name is Shuheii, Urahara, a pleasure to meet you." Urahara was surprised to hear that she was a jounin, someone so young looking and petite, you wouldn't expect such an accomplishment, at least with that physical appearance. Then again, he had a cane, he was certain that a lot of people didn't even expect him to be a shinobi. However he twirled it to make it obvious that he didn't need it for the obvious reason of support.
He smiled as she laughed, it was an odd laugh but pleasant because it was definitely unique. Ura, insanely curious asked "How old are you? If you don't mind telling." His voice playful and ever bashful, however his face was so serious that it created an amusing conversation. His eyes set like stone, staring directly into Miku's but his voice was playful and cheerful. Without waiting for a reply he continued, not really thinking about if he was being impudent or not "You look rather young to me, I wouldn't have expected jounin, however I guess you would not expect me to be a shinobi either, what with my cane." He suddenly stopped twirling his cane and chucked it down into the waterfall, however before it fell to far he outstretched his hand and the cane came flying back into his palm, he caught it with quick reflexes. "This indeed is not a normal cane." Urahara said, his voice not giving away in cockiness or arrogance, he was simply explaining himself.
Upon being thrown a loud voice erupted into his mind, Benihime, the summon within was reaching through him. "What the hell my child?" she whispered, obviously confused. "Do you not love me?" she asked, hurt but her voice still cold and callous. Ura's eyes twitched, very noticeably exposed to the face's of his audience. "Of course I love you" he thought back, sincere. "You know why I did that better than me, you know that i was just trying to show them that you weren't just a cane." Urahara saw the image of her smiling and he smiled too, pleased that he had pleased her. "I'm flattered you see me as more than a cane, hopefully i can see you i person one day." she said, her voice filled with love.
After the brief lapse of reality he came back to his senses and continued speaking. "Well, like i said...It’s not a normal cane...for one reason I gave my cane a name, her name is Benihime." He smiled at the mention of her name and then as if nothing had ever happened he began to twirl his cane nonchalantly. The same breeze that ruffled Miku now swept over Ura as it began to move his hair and fluff his hat.

| Seiga moved lightly at the sudden toss of the cane before jumping up and moving back slightly to stand alone hopping from one foot to the other nervously, he felt he had to impress them. Looking around for something he would turn to them both and pulling his hand through his hand catching the moisture he would hold it up and focus some chakra into the particles it would freeze into a small swallow made of sharp ice, concentrating slightly he would make sure the edges were dull before tossing it in the air where it would be caught by the gentle breeze and floating back to his hand. Smiling and letting the small swallow made of dull needles begin to melt in his hand. Tossing the melting ice in the air he would smile and watch it shatter as he focused on it leaning back to watch it he would move slightly avoiding most of the water droplets and catching them in a hand. "Tada" he said softly turning back to the other two with a smile "thats what I can do, thats all...did you like it?" an edge of nervousness crept into his last words before he smiled.

| Miku watched the boy's hat trick with amusement, but remained silent to allow him to ask his questions. She was used to questions surrounding her age and rank. She was petite, after all. His facial expression seemed to be rather blank and almost hard looking yet his voice was friendly and even playful sounding. It almost made her want to laugh, but she held off. Most people wouldn't have found it that funny, anyways. She did not wish to weird them out. "Oh, I don't mind. I'm used to questions like that. I am nineteen years old." Miku smiled, confirming her age for the two. She watched Urahara twirl his cane and then chuck it, only to bring it back moments later. His eye twitched while he seemed to admire or examine his cane. It was then turned into one of the most sincere smiles she had ever seen. Miku looked at Seiga as if she was wondering if Urahara had lost his mind. As soon as Urahara had regained his senses, she smiled. He returned to twirling the cane. "Well, Benihime sure does seem as a very pretty not-so normal cane." She let out a smaller laugh than usual, "Kuku!"
Her attention was then drawn to Seiga, who had suddenly began hopping from one foot to the other. It reminded her of hopscotch. She covered her moth and giggled ever so quietly into her palm. The boy then appeared to have started concentrating something into his own hand. It appeared to be ice. He shaped it and formed it, just as she did with her paper manipulation. It then melted, with Seiga catching some of the water-droplets. Miku could tell he was somewhat nervous, but he smiled anyways. "That's all? That's an amazing ability, Seiga! Ice Manipulation, right? I actually have a manipulation power as well. It's paper. Infact, I could even make large paper angel wings! That would take a lot of my chakra, though. I'm also very good in the Medical Ninjutsu field." Miku smiled proudly and lightly rested an arm on one of Seiga's arm with the other on her hip. "When you get older, I'm sure your Ice Manipulation will be one to be feared by. Kukukuku!" She laughed, remaining a friendly vibe, attempting to ease Seiga's nerves so he could feel more welcome in the conversation.
She then looked back at Urahara to see if he was still paying attention to the conversation. He had been giving that not-so normal cane some various facial expressions, after all. Who knows if he continued when they weren't looking. That almost made want to Miku laugh, again. |

| He laughed when she noted that Benihime was not a normal cane. It amused him that she didn't even have the faintest idea of how non normal Benihime was. Sure, there were many concealed weapons in staffs and canes, however many weapons did not contain sealed summons within that spoke with you for the remainder of your living life. However in the middle of his thoughts he stopped twirling his cane, the end pointing at Seiga as he began to manipulate some chakra within his hand.
Urahara was not afraid of the boy but due to his lack of socialization he was not keen to trust a trained shinobi using a controlled form of chakra. Though his paranoia stopped once the ice swallows flew in the air. He squinted in concentration, he was confused as to how an ice manipulator managed to live in Kumogakure but then dismissed his inquiry as he realized that it wasn't any of his immediate business.
Then, he pointed his cane's end back down, the bottom touching the grass lightly, finally using the cane for its original purpose. He put his hand under his chin and then went "hrmmmm...an interesting, if not exceptional ability..Ice manipulation is indeed quite rare. I can foresee great potential within the next couple of years." He then smiled in reassurance and yet again began to twirl his cane.
Then, as Miku began to reveal her ability with paper he frowned. Not that he didn't approve of her techniques but wondered if she knew the importance of secrecy. Even amongst allies there were enemies. He assumed for himself that one should not give away too much of their abilities. After all, you never knew when you may have to fight your former friend. Though he shrugged the thought off, not wanting to become the party pooper or the lethargic prick. However something about this meeting made him feel like his old self and he found that he was beginning to open up.
Feeling the need to be social and distinct he begun with his old common phrase "My...my...my, I have yet to introduce myself with more clarity, I have asked information of you and in return shall grant you more about me. I am fifteen years old, I should have been a chuunin but due to family issues I did not take the exams that year. Also, It would be obvious now that I am a genin as well, like my new friend here Koori, Seiga" his tone was enigmatic as he continued to twirl the cane with his right hand, then with skill he switched to his left and continued to twirl.
Without waiting for any response he spoke some more, keeping the same mannerisms and offbeat personality. "Perhaps we should do something fun? A game..Or perhaps a spar of some sort? Maybe we could all go get some food....I’m quite hungry." He finished, stopping the twirling of his cane and patting his stomach.

| Seiga moved slowly to look at the two wondering what kind of lunch. Staring off into the sky he would smile to himself thinking of the great ramen. The smell returned in his mind, savory it was cooked in heavy sauce. The taste a great mix of spices, such as oregano, and a hint of cinnamon. His mouth watering he would snap back to reality "I agree with the food idea, if you don't mind me tagging along." He smiled sheepishly and looked down expecting to be sent away, due to how young he was compared to them. Turning slightly away he would lay back down in the grass waiting. The wind ruffled his hair as the grass tickled his neck, hands, and feet. The wind felt nice as it blew gently through making him feel a slight chill causing his spine to tingle before he sighed, and leaped straight up to his feet and began pacing back and forth in a small square each time increasing his speed until he was moving as fast as he could before he ended up jogging stopping he stared at the two with a slight smile still playing upon his face, lifting his features and making him seem a little younger. |

| The young kunoichi was glad she had cleaned all day, because now she realized how much she did love socializing. All of her stress had vanished and Miku was feeling so free that she could practically feel the warmth rise in her chest. She looked at the two boys she had only met minutes ago. Urahara was polite and seemed to treat Benihime, his not-so normal cane, with care. He was tan with shaggy blonde hair, who wore and toyed with a green striped hat. Seiga was polite as well, but held some sort of shy or nervous feature about him. He appeared to only be an inch or so shorter than Miku and had brown hair with bright blue eyes. The young kunoichi however, was incredibly playful and defiantly the most talkative of the trio. Her eyes were emerald green and her pinkish-reddish-orangish hair often reminded her of fire. She was somewhat of a pyro-maniac, after all. Miku was sure she had got it from her father's side. Besides the point, It made her smile to think that three different people could get along so well. The warmth in her chest grew and her grin widened.
Miku couldn't wait until the day she was eventually given three genin, something she had always kinda wanted. She wondered when that day would be. It then dawned on her that Seiga and Urahara had the possibility of being on her squad. While the choice was heavily relied on the Raikage, the young kunoichi couldn't help but to dream. All three shinobi, counting herself, felt as if they held some sort of promising talent that would be greatly admired. Daydreams of her beating up anyone that harmed her genin's crossed her mind. So did daydreams of treating them all to candy after a hard day's work. Could she do it? Would she prove to be a strong leader like she wanted to be? Were the chances of her forcing her love upon three children likely? She was confident she could do the job. A dreamy sigh was let out by Miku.
Realizing the topic of conversation had changed, she attempted to think of a meal to eat along with them. It was true, Miku was hungry. She hadn't taken notice until Urahara had mentioned so, but she was glad he did. Her stomach rumbled and she let out a laugh. "Oh ho ho ho! I couldn't see a reason why you wouldn't be able to tag along. Now, let's think of a place to eat, for I am actually rather hungry myself as you just heard." She added, referring to the sounds that came from her stomach. "Perhaps some beef strips or ramen? I'm kinda leaning on beef strips but I'm easy going." Miku suggested, secretly thinking of candy. While beef strips and ramen did sound good, she could not resist thinking of sweet dumplings and green apple lollipops. Those were her favorite. Of course, the young kunoichi realized that candy wasn't actually very fulfilling and more of a snack or dessert than anything. She remained quiet about that little bit and thought back on beef strips and ramen. Beef strips were juicy and fulfilled her stomach much faster than ramen. They were also a tad crunchy and you could cook them yourself, which Miku had always enjoyed doing. On the other hand, ramen was much cheaper and had delicious broth that felt good against her throat. A hard choice, indeed.
Miku twirled a lock of hair and looked down at her feet. She wiggled her toes, allowing tiny strands of grass to poke through. The grass was still soft feeling even against her already soft feet. Her head suddenly popped back up, "Oh! I don't mind paying if you let me go get coin purse and shoes back from my apartment!" She said while smiling sincerely at the two. It was true, Miku did not mind paying at all. In the past, the young woman was often very generous in treating others, but almost always had to put up some little fight. She always had to insist at least twice, sometimes three times, before the other allowed her to do so. Miku must have received her overly-nice mannerisms from her mother, Yukina. At least that was considered a positive trait by most others. Before anyone could reply she quickly added, "I really do insist." Sincere as ever. The same wind from before blew past the trio, causing the leaves of the trees and the hair of the shinobi, together. It made that warm feeling from before in her chest rise again. Birds flew over them and some clouds carelessly rolled by. Miku to the opportunity to look up at the never-ending blue sky like Seiga had done a few times through out the conversation. It was hard to resist looking at the sky. To her, it held some mysterious yet welcoming vibe to the young woman. |

| Urahara smiled at the enthusiasm that responded from his suggestion. A flicker of self sustained expression expanded upon his soft yet stern features. After stopping the continuous twirling of his cane he reached his left hand up and checked the fold on the inside of his hat and felt around in the contents. A moment passed as he sifted through the small pocket and felt several pieces of paper and multiple large coins. With a snap of his fingers he realized he had enough to pay for all three of them and then some. After all, being the heir to a clan without any rulers is quite convenient when it comes to money. Even so, he knew that he would always miss his father.
Then, coming out of his reverie he laughed as he watched Seiga. He acted as if he was six or seven yet he was at least twelve years old. Seiga seemed engraved with the personality of a chibi from some phantasmal cartoon show. The boy seemed so bereft of any since of violence that he would simply crumble in a real fighting situation. As such, Urahara felt a big brother persona and found himself willing to protect Seiga if the need should arise, but he knew that it was illogical to count him out. So, instead of mulling over improbabilities he decided to focus on the matters at hand.
He turned to face Miku who had begun to speak about what she would prefer. Ura nodded with her in agreement, and knew that he preferred ramen over beef strips. But with the cash he had he could treat them to both, though he wouldn't get any beef. Just as he was about to announce his offer of treating them she spoke up and declared that she would treat them instead.
Feeling kind of stalkerish when she suggested that she had to go home and get her purse, knowing that he wanted to see and know where she lived. He watched her look up into the sky and found himself looking at her face, though Ura was quick to not look to long and then replied to break the awkward emotions. "I would prefer ramen, though if you’re paying then it is your choice...however I must warn you...i am veeeerrryyy hungry." His voice taking on the usual characteristics of a serious comic, which meant his face, was set in stone but his voice was playful.
Then turning to Seiga he smiled as he watched him look to the ground and then eventually lay down and said "We would love to have you along...without you our heads would be locked in one place." his voice filled with mute sarcasm, not to be taken offensively. |

| Seiga leaped up suddenly bounding forward weaving between the two and landing on the other side in a crouch pulling one hand up through his hand as he turned back to wink at them, the wind as if many small fingers had suddenly began to weave themselves through his hair and about his fingers. Smiling slightly the young man would stand up slowly stretching his legs and moving them quickly in small patterns tapping out a rhythm with his bare-feet on the soft grass a small circle of flattened grass appearing as he continued then stopped suddenly looking away "I wouldn't mind going for either, I'm really hungry." Continuing to smile he would try and keep still but failed as his feet didn't obey and kept on beating out a soft rhythm before he slammed his feet down hard and stood in a non-aggressive stance, his features dropping to a neutral face but curious look playing about his eyes as he tilted his head to one side. Walking slowly the few feet to stand closer to the two he would smile "so where do you want to go eat?" Stopping his feet and hands from moving his eyes would dart around watching the surroundings suspiciously as if scanning for trouble, satisfying his need to be sure no one was watching he would move in and crouch low looking up "I'm really hungry," he made his voice sound closer to an animal whine than an actual person. |

| The light tan hands of the kunoichi finger combed the vibrant colored strands of hair that twirled out of place. She did this as she listened to the boys, thinking of what to do about their hunger problem. Her eyes cut to the side and her tongue barely peeped out onto her lower lip in a thoughtful manner. It was amazing to think that all of them were all so hungry and only realized it until now. Things like that always made her curious. Urahara preferred ramen, Seiga just wanted something in his stomach, and Miku was more interested in beef but she was very open minded. She made up her mind and retracted her tongue back in her mouth before placing her hands on her hips with an overly-enthusiastic determination, letting her hair rest in a now neatly combed mass. As if the sun was playing along with her enthusiasm, a ray of sunlight beamed behind her. Thankfully, she hadn't been looking in it's direction and was looking at her party members. "We shall go to my apartment, get my shoes and money, and go out for delicious ramen!" Miku stated happily while grinning from ear to ear. "My place isn't too far from here. Follow me, please!" She demanded nicely while walking back the way she had originally came from. Miku passed the few trees that had been in the way of the plush green-grassed area and onto the smooth paths of Kumogakure no Sato. Her arms casually rested at the sides of her body and she held her chin up high, bobbing it to some tune she sang in her head, assuming they were both following her. The tune was something she made up on the fly about how she couldn't wait to eat some of that delicious ramen that awaited the trio. An occasional hum could faintly be heard as she continued to lead the way to her apartment. It was as if she was giving a tour on a field trip. The path lead them through a rather crowd-free area of Kumogakure, with only a person here or there.
It didn't take long before they reached the general area of Miku's apartment, which had only taken about five minutes to reach. A few of her neighbors waved or looked at her with curiosity. She would return a wave with her usually grin and then focused back onto reaching her small but freshly cleaned apartment. A twist and a turn here and there and Miku arrived at the few stairs that needed to be climbed in order to reach her front door. She trusted the two boys were still following her and didn't think she had got them lost. It was her own apartment, after all. Children playing and laughing could be heard every now and then, for she lived in a rather family-friendly area. Often would Miku would give them candy or even play with them until her presence was needed else where. Most of the parent's appreciated the watchful kunoichi because she always made sure that they all got along and weren't harmed in any way. From the top of her stairs she gave the children a small wave and then quickly opened her unlocked front door. It was true she had been that desperate to stop cleaning and just run outside without a care in the world. She left her front door opened for the two party members and grabbed the closet pair of shoes she kept by her front door, which were a pair of light brown colored sandals. Miku then walked over to her small square shaped kitchen table where she had left her coin purse from a few nights ago. It was a cute little coin purse of a cartoon like panda. She had kept it around since she was little. A quick peek was all the was needed to see the folded money and sparkling coins. Miku had enough saved up anyways, even after having bought a large array of candy that now sat in a clear glass jar, boldly sitting in the middle of her kitchen table. She also took note how lemony and clean her apartment smelled. It was dirt and dust free, just how she preferred.
"So, lets go get that delicious ramen, now!" She cheered with glee while appearing before the two boys again. Miku closed her front door, this time locking it, and placed the key in her panda coin purse. Once again her head bobbed along with a tune she sang in her head with an occasional hum slipping out. The kunoichi walked ahead of them, leading the way, but not too far away. Her hair swayed back and forth with her step she took, along with the small breeze that blew by every now and then. It was a great day so far, in Miku's opinion. After a few more minutes, the trio arrived at the ramen bar. She plopped herself on a stool more in the middle so she could be by both party members. Miku eagerly patted the counter and awaited the chef's attention. "A bowl of ramen for three, please!" She said, placing her panda coin purse on her lap for later. A whiff of chicken was taken in by the kunoichi. She just couldn't wait to devour her ramen, oh why had they have to wait for him to prepare it? A few minutes of waiting felt like torture, but she knew she could live through it with her party members. "What would you like to talk about?" Miku questioned while eying the ramen being prepared. |

| Urahara was un intentionally feeling pleased by her agreement. He was glad that she had decided to go to her apartment. He simply nodded when she told them to follow. As they walked he occasionally looked back at Seiga, noting how childish he was and he smiled, remembering when he acted that young. Even though there was only a two years age difference Seiga seemed to enjoy acting happy, vibrant, and perhaps even child like.
The trail they walked on was open and green, with many trees and other shrubbery. Ura was all grins and smiles today, finally having his first good day in a couple of months. Urahara laughed to himself as he caught hints of Miku's little song. He thought about asking her about it but decided against it, thinking that he would come off as stupid by questioning her about it. The day remained warm, a nice combination of hot and cold. It was a beautiful day when all things were accounted for.
After about five minutes they had arrived to a complex of apartments. Ura assumed that one of these apartments belonged to Miku and was silent as they walked pass many people. Ura was observant of the many people that greeted her, by their general enthusiasm he presumed that she was a very liked and well known person throughout her area.
Once they had passed all the villagers and made it to the stairs they followed her up to the apartment which she lived in. When the door opened Ura noted on the cleanliness of the space and then he heard a chiding comment from within his head "She is far to clean for you, Ura-kun." Benihime said, snickering in his mind. Ura's eyes squinted as his grip on his cane became tighter. "be quiet." Urahara replied within his mind, blushing at the thought of showing Miku and Seiga his room.
He watched her as she bent down to pick up her sandals and then followed her to the kitchen where a small and ornate table was located. Urahara smiled and then laughed. For some reason the small panda coin purse had made him more amused than he had been in a good time. He started to laugh hysterically, his hand on his gut. He started to tear up and then stopped laughing, following Seiga and Miku out the door.
When they arrived to the ramen bar the aroma of fresh noodles and broth filled Ura's nostrils. His stomach gave a very coincidental growl. He blushed a bit and sat down at the ramen benches. Ura didn't complain when Miku ordered his ramen for him, even though she did not know his personal preferences. He looked at Seiga as he bounced in his seat, probably consumed by the hunger as well. When Miku asked them what he wanted to talk about he turned to face both of them, his expression became serious. "Why are you both shinobi?" he asked them.
Sorry for the god mod at the end, but i assumed that bouncing in your seat is something you'd do..if you dont like it then i'll edit. |

| Seiga followed them along the path not looking at were he was going, he would watch a few clouds drift lazily across his view. The sky seemed a little darker so he turned his gaze back to the others a light breeze playing across his face. Smiling to himself he would decide to hang just inside the door waiting for them to get back, before exiting and crouching slightly while waiting. Falling behind a little ways he would then sprint forward and hop around them bouncing lightly, smiling brightly he would slow to a walk and move carefully. As they moved closer to the ramen shop he would pick up on the heavy scent of good ramen floating through the air as he shut his eyes breathing deeply he would grin again.
Entering the shop he would look around quickly marking all the exits and other patrons. Sitting with the other two he would smile nervously, as he began to bounce in the soft cushions of the chair. Looking around again he would smile as Miku ordered the food, he didn't mind being ordered for food was food at this point. The smell of the ramen as it was being prepared made his mouth water slightly before he heard Urahara's question, turning slightly he would reply "well I just wanted to be stronger and be able to control my" he pauses slightly turning to look as the prepared food was set before them "abilities," he would stop bouncing and smile nervously again waiting for them to begin to eat first. |

| Miku looked at Urahara's serious facial expression with something between fascination and curiosity. She could never learn how to keep a straight face and often wondered how other people were able to do it so well. It was something she believed she had gotten from her father. Did she appear rude or irritating? Crazy or in denial? The young woman could honestly say she didn't care what someone thought about her constant grin. As long as she was happy with herself, she didn't view it as a problem. She wasn't afraid to be herself. Miku ended the train of thought and switched her gaze from Urahara to Seiga to show her involvement in the conversation. It was a way to show she was listening. The boy had been bouncing in his seat. She smirked thinking about the times she had randomly begin jumping on her bed. The young woman looked surprised as she witnessed a bowl of ramen being presented to Seiga. That was awfully quick. She licked her lips and nodded her head to show she had heard the young boy's answer. She turned to her own bowl of ramen that had been placed in front of her. Steam elegantly rose from the cooked noodles and the broth looked as if it were a golden sea, begging her to jump in. "Thank you, Chef." She stated quickly, almost forgetting her manners from admiring her food. Miku plucked her chopsticks and tore them apart before skillfully holding them above her bowl. It was as if she were a predator, taunting her poor victim. She didn't take a bite just yet. Her emerald eyes looked back at Urahara in preparation of answering him. "I became a kunoichi because I wanted to be a hero. Well, actually, I didn't want to be just a hero. I wanted to be a super hero." Miku recalled her memories as if it had only happened a few days ago. She had been six years old and was actually in a serious conversation with her old childhood friends when she realized she wanted to be a kunoichi. It had been a suggestion from one of her friends.
Everyone knew she had wanted to be a hero and being a kunoichi seemingly appeared to be what a hero was in Miku's eyes. It made her get that silly grin on her face like she always had right before she laughed. "Kukukuku! Us little six year olds had been so serious and determined about it, too." Her free hand was brought to her mouth in an attempt to muffle her now hysterical giggles. "What's funny, too, is that I'm actually somewhat of a pyro-maniac. I probably look like a 'loony' at times." Miku stated truthfully but with a large playful smirk. Her laughter and continuing grins didn't really help her, either. "But as I said before... I want to be a hero. That's why I took up medical ninjutsu. So I could heal others in pain." She added on, before raising her an eyebrow in anticipation of how Urahara and Seiga would respond. She remembered how pleased her parents had been when they learned their daughter could help someone in need. They were always pleased with her strength and power. They had always been by her side. Infact, they still were on her side. They actually believed she could be the hero she wanted to be. She bit down on her lower lip and felt her eyes just barely water. 'Uh oh.' Miku yelped in her head. This had happened in the past. While she was always happy, playful, and affectionate, their was the rare times she would suddenly get the urge to cry. It had always caught her off guard and she did not like it. Their were times when she was able to hold off. Miku abruptly stopped her eyes from watering anymore and looked down at her ramen. This would be one of those days were she would hold off.
It then suddenly seemed to be the right opprotunity to take a bite of her ramen. Miku rose the noodle covered chopsticks to allow them to cool. She quietly blew on the noodles and then stuffed them into her mouth. How delicious it was. The young woman bounced in her seat like Seiga had done before and attempted to clap even with the chopsticks in her hand. Her attempt in clapping failed, but it didn't through her off guard. She instead tilted her head from left to right as if she were singing a song, only quietly chomping down on her noodles. Down they went into her stomach and already her hunger was beginning to subside. "Oh! It's just so good!" She stated happily while looking at her two party members to see if they had taken a bite yet. If they had then they hadn't shown as much as enthusiasm as her. She was sure she caught the Chef look over at them, flattered by her outburst. Otherwise, he didn't seem that important to pay attention to and she looked back at her ramen and her group. "So, what about you Urahara?" Miku questioned, referring to his own question he had asked her and Seiga. "Why did you become a shinobi?" Though she didn't wait for his answer and took another bite of her ramen, putting trust that he somehow knew she was still listening. She stabbed through a piece of tiny naruto in her ramen and munched down on it. Miku was at total peace. |

| Urahara waited in anticipation, wondering what answers might be given and how to best react upon them. He put more thought into it then others would ever consider and made it an issue more relevant to himself, wondering why he had become a shinobi. Honestly, he had never any choice in the matter and was born and raised to be a shinobi, there wasn't any other style or livelihood he had ever known nor had an option to partake in. Though, he realized that he wasn't unhappy, after all he loved swordsmen ship and taijutsu, despite not having a choice in whether he wanted to be a swordsmen or not he loved it and cherished the art of kenjutsu. He smiled, serenity fogging his mind and causing all surroundings to become nullified.
Then, with a loud thwack noise resonating within his brain Benihime appeared and spoke, her voice amused "Get a grip boy, you'll look like a fool if you're just seen their smiling like an idiot." Urahara waved her off with a mental hand gesture and thanked her, coming out of his reverie he heard Seiga speak about how he wanted to become stronger and how he wished to exert more control over his abilities. "My...my..my Seiga-kun, don't be so nervous, you’re doing just fine and your abilites are quite interesting to say the least." He smiled and gave a reassuring pat on Seiga's shoulder.
Then, when he asked Miku he noticed that she was analyzing something within him, he wondered if it was his facial expression or if there was something within his teeth...he gave a slightly..mock nevrous chuckle. He watched her as she looked away, taking the moment to study her facial bone structure, staring like Leonardo Da Vinci finishing a portrait. He hrmmdd...and ahhhed within his mind, as if finishing some master piece art sculpture, and before he could finish the enticing smell of ramen wafted in his nostrils.
When she turned to face him again he was staring back at her, chin in palms and elbows on table, ready to listen to her answer. Then when she finished the part about wanting to be a super hero he was grinning stupidly big and laughed a bit, in a humorous non offensive manor. "how cute, a little super hero." he chastized, patting Miku on the shoulder, his eyes bright and friendly.
Though Ura wasn't ignorant and decided to shut up, knowing she surely had more to say. He started to smile when she talked about being a pyro manic and imagined a seven year old Miku playing with a match and burning some leaves or perhaps even chasing a cat's tail. Then at the end of her description he smiled and said "well, healing people's pain is nice, but perhaps trying to stop it would be a better thing? Don't you agree?" knowing that he probably sounded naive or like a jerk he braced for some harsh or perhaps condescending retort to demean and otherwise hurt his feelings or opinions.
He laughed as he watched Miku's weird eating ritual and decided to take a bite of his ramen aswell. It was spicy and warm, just the way he liked it. The broth settled well against his sore throat as it made its way down his esophagus and alleviating his discomfort of being hungry for so long. Realizing he had been rude to the chef and his meal he quickly said "Itadakimasu" and took another bite and before he knew it a good portion of his ramen was gone. Then after he had finished Miku had the same question for him and his facial expression became passive. He replied his voice, open but serious "I did not have a choice in the matter, I have just been raised as such from the beginning, and quite honestly I thoroughly enjoy it. I intend to become a well known swordsman and perhaps start some swordsmen organization of my own. Perhaps seven or eight of us who share my enthusiasm." |

| Seiga blinked a few times and looked at his ramen the urge to eat it was great but the two's answers and comments had him visibly calmed he stopped moving at all and began to just look between the two with his bright blue eyes that seemed like an interlocking sheet of blue glaial ice drifting among a bright blue patch of sky. The smell of the ramen made his nose twitch slightly, the scent tantalizing making his stomach react he would reach over and pull it closer picking up his chopsticks he would grab a large group of noodles and raise them to his lips slurping them up and the taste making his mouth water further, before he looked at the two and smiled a big grin "so uhm you guys when do you think the chunin exams are going to happen, I want to get stronger at them...you know?" He begins to bounce again looking about the small store he would laugh very innocently. |

| Miku continued the devouring of her food. Pluck a few noodles, spin them around her chopsticks, blow on them, and stuff them into her mouth. The cycle continued without her paying that much attention to it. As far as she was concerned, most people ate just like her. Then again she didn't pay that much attention to the way people usually ate. She was also using the time to think of things to say through-out the conversation. Their was many things the kunoichi could say. However, she remained quiet for just a little longer. Less words, more eating. It was soon that almost all her noodles were gone. Even then she was still listening to whatever the boys had to say, despite looking so determined on eating all of her delicious ramen. She even nodded her head along while she was eating. After another bite, she looked at Urahara. “Do I agree?” She asked with a pretend glare still accompanied by a smirk. “Of course I agree! Although, sometimes it’s not always possible to prevent everyone from getting hurt. Sometimes, they are already hurt and I’m just a back-up. Hell! Sometimes they inflict harm on themselves! I mean, sometimes it’s for good reason but other times it’s not even necessary! They always have some interesting story to tell about it when their in the hospital and I’m looking over them, too.” She let out an exasperated sounding laugh and shook her head from side to side, thinking of some of the incidents that had happened in the past. Miku took a few more bites of her ramen. It was almost all gone.
Finally, Urahara told them why he became a ninja. Seiga had said so, Miku had said so, and now it had gone back to Urahara. He had to tell them. That was the way conversations went. “How interesting… To be raised as a shinobi from the beginning!” Miku said with her eyes on the swordsman. She tapped her chin with her free hand. "A group of notorious swordsmen! How ambitious of you, Urahara. It sounds very interesting!” She said while imagining the silhouettes of a group of blade wielding ninja. She could just imagine the aura they would give off as they marched around with their pride and dangerous swords. It was like something you would see in a movie of book. An amused eyebrow rose on Miku's face while she continued to vision the scene. She took the last few bites of her ramen. All that was left was her broth. The warm, golden, tasteful broth. Her gaze went from the broth and to Seiga's big blue eyes. He grinned and bounced. That was becoming very frequent. It made her want to do the same. So, she bounced along in the slightest, but not nearly as much as he did. "The Chuunin Exams? Hmm, I'm actually not so sure myself. I'd imagine they aren't too far away, though." She stated with a thoughtful expression while casually setting down her chopsticks. "I can recall when I went to the Chuunin Exams and boy... That was crazy! It was in Konoha and...Well, it was just a mind blowing experience from what I can remember! It was a real work out, but actually kind of fun." Miku patted both Seiga and Urahara, slightly leaning and pulling them closer to her. She grinned from ear to ear. “The best part would have to be the feeling every time you succeed a part of the exam. It’s like a surge of electricity running through you! And when you’re made a chuunin… You stand so proudly for your village!” She said with such a low voice it was almost a whisper, as if she were telling the boys some super ultra secret. A dreamy sigh was let out and she allowed her party members to go back in their original position.
It was then she cupped her bowl and brought it to her lips. It remained their for a moment as if she were hesitant on drinking it. She took in the smell of the beautiful broth. It smelled heavenly. The edge of the bowl touched her lips and she leaned her head back. Miku took a big gulp and another and another. She chugged it down as if she had an unquenchable thirst. Truthfully, it was still somewhat hot, but far from burning her tongue. After taking the last gulp, she set her bowl back down with a soft ‘clack’ and let out a satisfied sigh. “Mm! It’s almost better than last time I had ramen!” Miku stated happily while clapping her hands together. She peered at the boy’s bowls. “Do you guys want seconds?” She asked while reaching for her panda coin purse that rested in her lap. It was a notion meant that she would, indeed, pay again. |

| Sorry for the wait...as you can see i've had alot on my mind...
Alot had happened throughout his life and he had barely remembered why he was who he was. Ura did not understand the significance of being a shinobi or why he even fought or why he loved swordsman ship. He knew that he was good at it, and also knew that he had an interest, but he couldn't remember the last time he had fun while doing it.
By utterly enjoying it so much that no matter how many times that you failed it was still fun and that you still smiled, despite the facade of emotions that you kept about you. Emotionally confused and moved Urahara was left in a state of shock and awe, stumped by the revelation that the discussion of his future had brought upon him. He was wrought with longing and realized he had never truly done anything since childhood that he honestly remembered having fun doing. He was saddened and longed for an escape, an express down the path of self finding.
He wanted to be rid of himself of all self indulgences that he had long plagued himself, knowledgeable of his wrong doings and wracked with the guilt of knowing that he had always wanted to be a better person, to do as the awe inspiring character's of a good book or anime, to be the hero or if not a person that anyone could judge and know that he was a good person, and if not by definition friendly he was someone to be relied upon and that people could look up to. Urahara was tired of the horrible thoughts that burdened his mind due to years of discontinuous parenthood, the lack of censorship from the things he watched, heard, and listened to.
Urahara was so entirely speechless that the bite of ramen he had been eating hung in his mouth and his eyes were blank with shock, the urge to do something had surged throughout him with such intensity that it caused physical pain. He started to sweat, knowing that his time to build a childhood lifestyle, or something that he would love and know forever was slipping bye. Urahara was saddened that he had never had the experience to play a sport or an activity with his father like the many characters in the anime he had watched, or do anything of any impact that would direct his life.
Ura then began to realize that he was truly depressed by this fact, he wanted to strive, to soar with fun, with love of something he would be able to experience and die without regret. Ura remembered the time he watched an anime, and at the end the calm and collected, never emotional boy smiled like a little child and how it moved him to see such a change in emotions, a change that seemed unfathomable, it was so genuine the fake happiness that it started to drive him a bit crazy, he envied what a fictional character had and wanted that love as well.
After his sudden black out, he reverted back to a state of awareness; he smiled awkwardly in response, not having paid attention due to his thoughts. His hair was matted with sweat, and his robe in the front stuck to his chest with pasty balmy sweat. "well....errr...im...terribly sorry..i didn't hear what you said to my words....but.." he cut his words off, realizing that she probably could not hear him because his voice was so low and he decided better of telling her he hadn't heard, and instead listened for the rest of her voice. He smiled when she called him ambitious and replied "you think so?" he chuckled awkwardly with his hand behind his head.
He decided it would be better for him to listen and when he heard Seiga talk about the chuunin exams his ears perked up like a dog's, he was very interested with ranking up and wanted to prove to himself that he could do it. Ura was happy to hear Miku's explanation about her experiences and thought that he couldn't wait to feel the same emotions...the ones he had been longing for. He was shocked when she pulled them closer by the head and hoped she wouldn't notice his nervous sweat and misinterprets his unease, not that she couldn't have that effect on a man. Deciding on acting like he had been he bottled up his emotions and spoke "araa..ara..ara...i couldn't possibly eat another bite....though i can pay for all of this...i have to admit i was just curious to see where you lived." He smiled and tapped his forehead "I am a ninja after all." |
