About time. Now maybe someone will remember that they're supposed to be ninja in the middle of a war. All this time the Uchiha has been busy running his mouth no one has tried to stick a knife in his neck, instead they leave it to a bunch of kids to "save" someone who should have stayed dead but was resurrected just so the author could get out of the corner he wrote himself into.

Oh wait, Kismoto. No doubt even if he did put that in he would also add some last-minute super-ability to "Obito" that utterly undoes everything with absolutely no drawback.

And my hope is Sakura finally gets squished. Most. Annoying. Character. Ever. Does nothing useful, throws around more weight than an obese blue whale, and gets handed all the breaks and screen time. Meanwhile characters who have real potential and some depth get sidelined and neglected.

When Hinata showed up this chapter I thought She was the one who was going to bite it for real this time....

I didn't expect Neji to take the blow for her.

Of course he could still come back from this somehow but it would be nice for this war to have some real consequences.

When I first saw it, I was certain she was the one hurt. It was only in the next panel that I realised that Neji had sneaked in, somehow. Tbh I would prefer if she died for real this time Naruto Chapter 614 287405

Nah, Sasuke is overrated. He's only in Naruto because the yaoi industry pays a fortune just to keep him in it so that Naruto has fan art and fanfics of Sasuke. It's all common knowledge. Clearly, Akamaru, a dog, has more value than a glorified animated whore. The same can be applied to a previously mentioned obese blue whale.

Probably. Then again the only ones who will stay dead are the ones who by all rights should live. Zabuza, Haku, Jirayia, Itachi - all great characters who actually had some sort of depth killed off while the two-dimensional dartboards continue to live.

Does anyone actually read Naruto for the character depth, plot or action anymore? I'm just reading it to find out how it ends. All of this annoying "One Upping" is just Kishimoto's way of stalling so readers have to keep reading as to not miss out on the ending.
