Here is where I'll be keeping a record of people Kimiko meets that are important, pivotal things that happen to her and her hero count. 1 is the lowest, and 100 is the highest in that scale. The reason why I'm keeping this here? To help myself remember as well as people I'm RPing with, or people who are curious about the renowned Konoha Sennin!

Hero Count

1: Shows a passion to become the Hokage, extremely heroic in her presentation to the class in the Academy. Everyone simply laughs.

3: Graduates as a Genin and rescues a group of children from rabid dogs. Not so much laughing here.

7: Completes a grand total of 10 D-Rank missions and 10 C-Rank missions. On a slow journey upwards to silence those who still laugh about her dream.

12: Dissuades a confused Genin from going rogue from the village.

17: Able to see into people's souls and hearts to see whether they're good or evil.

20: Inspires an old Missing Nin to leave his criminal life behind. Doesn't find this out until many years later.

24: Signs a pact with her personal summon of African Lions. Said species see her as the Child of Prophecy. She becomes sick of the title.

27: Becomes a Chuunin. Is brave after her mother's untimely death. Becomes stronger to protect her village. Travels to Kumogakure where her prowess as a shinobi is praised as she is able to defeat all of her prodigious cousins.

30: Saves the life of an orphan girl named Aya-Usagi from her own deranged parents. Same girl is adopted soon afterwards into the Katsumi family.

35: Defeats a strange criminal organisation threatening to take down Konoha.

37: Learns of her grandfather's identity as an S-Ranked Missing Nin from Iwagakure responsible for a war within Konoha's walls. Deals with this and after learning of his motive to wipe humanity off the face of the earth is renewed in her passion to protect and save it.

39: Becomes a Jounin aged 19; considered a prodigy of the village. Masters the Katon and Fuuton element, able to use Enton and Neton as a result. Is able to learn the Doton element. Gains more companions from her personal summoning contract.

41: Masters a third Speciality; strength increases even further to make her even more formidable in combat. Completes her first solo A-Rank mission to gain more credibility in the village.

43: Mission mad; ventures on a stream of difficult A-Rank missions alone to further better her skills and experience.

48: Strange happenings; observed a strange criminal organisation planning to wipe out Konoha and begins to train in order to accommodate this, to make sure that she is ready.

52: Skilled; is gifted with the rank of Master Jounin in the village.

56: Gains yet more support from her African Lion summonings, taking on board two more in the form of Takeshi and Eita, also helping with her all-round battle capabilities.

61: After continued training in the art of her Weaponry speciality, she is able to master a huge amount of untapped endurance, making her even more of a difficult, worthy opponent for anybody that gets on her bad side.

65: Manages to increase her already huge chakra capacity to Monstrous levels.

71: Through her hard work and sheer skill, she is promoted to be a Konoha Sennin, of which she is the only one. Only Hokage can rival her power now. Huge achievement.

When true love knows no bounds...

Hinamori Toshiro

Kimi has known Toshiro (or Toshi-kun, as she fondly calls him) for eight years; since her early Genin days. The pair were placed on a team together and during the time she was still a Genin, they bonded closely over one mission in particular. After said mission, when a spark that wasn't just friendship was made obvious, Kimi's mother was taken ill and during the last months of her mother's life she was either despondent or not there at all to see Toshiro. Just before leaving Konoha with her father to train and move on after her mother's passing, she confessed to the young Hinamori what she had wanted to say to him for some time, and much to her delight and surprise, he returned said feelings. Unfortunately, that was when they were to part and not see one another again for almost three years. Even after all that time, the pair remained close and picked up where they left off in a serious (oh the irony) relationship. Nothing could break them apart; not the horrible incidents with Toshiro's sister, nor the continued saga where a criminal organisation intervened. Rather jokingly, both of their respective families are expecting a marriage, and much to everybody's delight in the village (and even far beyond), the pair are engaged to be married.

Katsumi Aya

During her time spent away from the village, Kimi's travels took her to Kumogakure to meet distant family on her father's side. A few months before their planned leaving date, she befriended a young orphan girl named Aya-Usagi, and the girls quickly formed a strong enough bond to call one another sisters. But alas, good things couldn't last forever. Aya's parents arrived claiming rights to their daughter in order to perform awful tests on the young girl to make the 'ultimate shinobi' that they so craved. Kimi wasn't going to allow that to happen, of course. She fought for the girl's life and won eventually, killing both of Aya's parents; Cheena and Kato. In the process, she had put her own life at risk. She fell into a coma from her wounds and exhaustion, and people started to believe that she would never wake up. Right at the last moment, however, she pulled through to learn that Aya had been adopted by her father while she was in her coma. He knew it would be what Kimi wanted to happen. Delighted, the new family headed back to Konoha and it is here that they remain today with Aya as a rapidly progressing Academy student, approaching her Genin graduation.

Katsumi Hideyoshi

Needless to say, Kimi's source of strength since her mother's death has been her father, Hideyoshi. Despite his own grief over the incident he has helped his daughter no matter what the cost to see her smile again. At one point, he even took on more of his late wife's demeanour to fill the void that had been left when she died. He and Kimi travelled together for almost three years which only strengthened their bond further. As one of her last surviving blood relatives, and her father no less, Kimi has a large space of her heart reserved for him alone.

Katsumi Sora

Kimi's late mother, Sora, has been dead for just over five years now. Despite no longer walking this earth in body, Sora lives on in her daughter; not only in looks, personality and ambition, but in a physical sense also. After dying, she latched onto her only child as a spirit through an unknown phenomenon that nobody can quite explain, not even Toshiro's mother, Momo, who used to be a miko, at one with the supernatural forces. Whereas the thought of your dead mother living within your consciousness would send you mad, Kimi has embraced it and finds it endearing that her mother is so determined to watch over her and keep her safe. In many dire situations, Sora has been a voice of reason for her daughter to hear when her resolve wavers.

Manaru Mayumi

Mayumi is Kimi's aunt, sister of the deceased Sora. Until a couple of years ago, the woman has held no real part in the girl's life apart from early childhood. After her sister's untimely death, Mayumi seemed to disappear for a while, but has recently come back with vengeance in Kimi's life. She has worked her way up into the top three coveted older females, alongside her sister Sora and the pair's long time friend and Toshiro's mother, Momo. The three of them (even though Sora's input is in spirit) act to support Kimi as mother figures. Mayumi has also recently revealed a terrifying truth about  to Kimiko about the Manaru side of the family, and has helped her get over the initial horror, terror and despair that came with it.

Azamashi Haruka

Back in Kimiko's Academy days, she met a seemingly meek, mild and quiet girl named Haruka. As it turned out, the two girls became fast friends and remain friends even to this day. They stuck together through hard times, when both lost relatives close to their hearts, they understood each other's feelings and spent a long time helping one another through the pain. Through it all, they remained close and bonded even more against the odds. Today, Haruka remains to be Kimiko's only close female friend. Despite both of their careers taking turns for the better, and both of them being extremely busy a lot of the time, they still find the time to stay close to one another no matter what. All of the above are true signs of friendship that Kimiko will undoubtedly need in the future...

Combat Style: Although still in the Academy, Aya is one of the black sheep within her class. She doesn't appear like much of a threat, but her quite competent use of basic Ninjutsu shows good potential within her. A combat style isn't something that she has yet, but with her main speciality of Puppetry it is quite obvious which pathway she will take as a long to mid-range fighter.

Description: Now twelve years of age with many years as part of the Katsumi family, one would never think that Aya had once been an orphaned child with no future other than experimentation. She is happy, cheerful and optimistic about life, something that she always says is from the influence of her big sister. At first she struggled to fit in and make friends in the Academy because of being a 'foreigner' to the village, but has now settled down into the way of life with ease. As such, she has proved to be quite the people magnet. Others feel drawn to her positive energy. One would think that Kimiko and Aya were blood sisters instead of adoptive as they both of a very similar vibe about them. Through her parents' experimentation while she was in the womb, Aya has a strange ability, or gift. Her name is borne from this ability. Her eyes change colour depending on her mood, fluctuating chakra that somehow gains a colour. It doesn't aid her in battle or in any form, apart from giving a clear indication to those around her what her mood is. She is of average height for her age, standing just shy of 4'5" and taller than most in her class. She is almost all skin and bone despite having a monstrous appetite, proving that she has a fast metabolism. She is not quite a tomboy, but prefers to be practical. This means that she will wear skirts and dresses, quite unlike her older sister at this time. Her hair and eyes are the same vivid shade of green, and whereas her hair used to be cropped to her chin it has grown almost to her shoulders.

Combat Style: It is quite unclear what Hideyoshi's combat style is like due to his long time in the Intelligence Core of Konoha, he has not needed to have a style for a long time. In his youth while on battle squads with his late wife, he mainly specialised in mid to long range, but could hold his own to a point in physical combat. He was always a team sealer and the backbone within any mission team; the gel that held them all together in times of need or wavering hope. This boded well for any team he was part of, needless to say. He is used to being a bit of a wallflower, and one of his nicknames during his youth was 'The Shadow', literally hanging back and giving long-range aid. Much like his daughter, however, he can give over to his emotions if a loved one is in danger. True to his nickname also is and was his inhuman amount of stealth that allowed him an upper hand in battle from the get-go.

It is essentially the practice of moving and manipulating your hands with expert efficiency to the point where they become a blur. With this special characteristic a ninja can perform any number of hand seals within seconds or instantly depending on the amount of seals necessary. This allows them to execute techniques faster than the opponent can perceive providing unsuspecting attacks. Description: A characteristic bestowed upon those elite ninja whose stealth became even deadlier through training and experience. The ninja now has a Anbu's stealth which allows them to move within the shadows like a phantom and completely blend in with darkness, rendering them invisible. Along with being able to create no sound, the ninja is now able to suppress their chakra to a near undetectable level, rendering them the perfect assassins. Those with this characteristic can easily slaughter platoons of men from the shadows within seconds.

Description: Hideyoshi is the youngest of three sons born to unspecified parents within the Katsumi family of Kumogakure. With a rather odd quirk of fate, his parents began breaking rules of the clan, traditions bound to them by centuries, and as such great-grandfather Seiro banished them from the family. If they stayed in the village, they would constantly be reminded of the family and how much they hated them, and as such they left Kumogakure bound for Konohagakure with Hideyoshi in tow. Their elder sons, Jobuu and Abityo were bid to stay in the village because of their already successful shinobi careers. Hideyoshi had, at the time, been too young to have started the Academy. He had a tough time in a strange village with plenty of wariness towards him, graduating from the Academy as a prodigious student alongside Manaru Sora. Being foreign to the village, he didn't share the same hatred that everybody else did for the girl, and instead he fell head over heels in love with her. They bonded in a team together, but were split apart when their sensei died protecting them from one of the first battles in the Great Shinobi War. After the pair of them were Jounin rank, they were put on a battle squad with three other shinobi to aid them in a pivotal fight. After winning, Hideyoshi confessed his love to Sora and the pair were married the next year. Sora bore his daughter, and everything seemed perfect; he was living the dream. Alas not as his wife was taken awfully ill, a terminal illness by all accounts. But she soldiered on and the little family of three continued their lives together, a rift slowly opening between Sora and Kimiko. When the illness was revealed to the latter, the pair finally bonded as mother and daughter before Sora died. Having his world flipped upside down made it harder with a daughter to support, but he bore both of their immense grief on his shoulders. They went away to train for almost three years, getting over Sora's death and becoming stronger at the same time. During the time they spent away from Konoha, they ventured to Kumo to see the Katsumi family which he could vaguely remember but not clearly. They were welcomed with open arms and had a wonderful time there, albeit extremely difficult. After the well-known incidents of Kumo, the new family of three made their way back to Konoha and since then have lived out their lives in such a way; happy. Hideyoshi still appears youthful despite having gone past his fourtieth birthday; he has thick, chopped blond hair and rich honey-coloured eyes. As of late he has developed a need to wear glasses, but he rarely does so. He mainly dresses as if every day is a smart day, wearing crisp form-fitting shirts and almost dress trousers. He is quite high up on the ladder within the Intelligence Core, and appearance matters. With his wife's death, he attempted to take on part of her personality to try and fill the void she left behind, but has recently reverted back to his quiet, reserved self. He has a rather perverted sense of humour to embarrass his eldest daughter, but otherwise revels in witty sarcasm and irony. He likes games that stimulate his mind as a past time; choosing to play chess and complete crosswords.

Combat Style: Mayumi hasn't been out on the battle field for a long, long time due to her permanent post as Head of the Hospital and Medical Affairs within Konoha. As her time as a battle medic, however, she was famed for her strength, evasiveness and skilled healing. Her Taijutsu was naturally good due to her Medical training and knowing where to hit in order to get maximum impact, even if one of her specialities doesn't lie there. Her elements of Doton and Suiton are protective in nature, and she often used them (like an earth shield) to give her more cover to heal on the battlefield. Unlike her older sister, her claim to fame wasn't in battle. She was most famed for her intense medical expertise that surpasses most (if not all) in the known world.

Their movements become so fluid and precise that they can even dodge dozens of weapons from all angles by performing quick maneuvers that can range from somersaults, black flips, and other forms of physical motions. Essentially only unavoidable forms of attacks can hit a evasive expert in their prime.

Description: An exceptional attribution that one is innately born with and further invokes during the course of their training. Chakra Control is key to preserving your stamina which will increase your vitality and enable you to use techniques to it's fullest capacity. It is essential for nearly all specialties of Ninjutsu but is heavily coveted in the areas of Medical Ninjutsu and Genjutsu which require good chakra in order to perform their techniques proficiently. Those with Advanced Chakra Control however are able to take it to the next step and preserve more noticeable chakra from their standard pool. Depending on the rank of the technique, a small quantity of chakra is preserved within the body when executed the Jutsu, which ultimately lowers the cost of your techniques. Description: With further experimentation with various poison the user's trains their immune system to a more advanced degree. By applying tolerable amounts of poison into their system daily, they are now immune to stronger levels of poison than before. Those with this characteristic are now immune to A-Ranked poisons and are completely immune to common disease and sickness.

Description: Mayumi can be described as the pinnacle of a role model, after her deceased sister of course. Despite having a disturbing, difficult past, she has pulled through to love humanity and do everything she can to protect it and 'heal' it, rather literally. She believes that the human race is sick and needs all the healing it can get, hence where her love and prowess in Medical Ninjutsu began. If one were to look into her kindly chocolate eyes, they would see countless horrors that she has experienced in her career and even before it had started, in her youth. Being shunned until she was recognised as a help to the nation had its impact on it, although she doesn't show it. Although very stunning, Mayumi hasn't allowed herself to fall for anybody or have children for fear of the man leaving her and the child growing up with the same treatment that she had. At thirty six years of age, it is looking very unlikely that she will settle down with anyone and have children, so instead she has filled her life with a troublesome cat. She is tall for a woman, standing at 5'9" and often while wearing her typical choice of heels easily becomes 5'11". Her body is slim and lithe, almost to the point that someone would assume that she is a civilian with no shinobi training. She keeps her deep brown hair chopped in a stylish bob, and her clothing is always flattering and fashionable. At the hospital she wears nothing as such, but still dresses smart underneath her long white coat.

Sora:

Name: Katsumi Sora

Combat Style: In her time, Sora was a celebrated battle medic. Although her healing abilities were the main focus of her job, she could defeat many shinobi through her intense Medical and Taijutsu training. Her main saving grace was her huge chakra capacity that, in the words of her comrades, could easily sustain all of her team in the time of the great war. Her speed too was something to be admired, and her unbelievable endurance against all odds. Every time she was knocked down, she would get back up without fail. Sometimes her sheer determination would carry her through when her body was failing, and she would always fight with her emotions riled up because she knew that was what made her strong. Later in life, she joined her younger sister as the joint Head of the Hospital and Medical Affairs and remained in that position until her death, leaving her sister in sole charge.

In addition, the user can now even fight through the effects of poison and paralysis.

Description: Making her huge claim to fame as a mere Jounin, Sora quickly rose to S-Rank for her position in the hospital as its head. She was a powerful woman that dwarfed her husband (although not in stature); with her huge personality, immense skills and the aura around her that made her simply irresistible. Despite this, she loved Hideyoshi with all her heart and despite literally controlling him in day to day life, knew that they worked in unison as a perfect team. She had always been excited about having children to continue the next generation, and to manifest the love she had for her husband in such a way that would always be a reminder of their shared DNA, so learning that she was pregnant had been the happiest day in her life even though she had earned honour after honour from her battle in the Great Shinobi War. She decided to name their daughter to be Kimiko should she be a girl, after her late mother, and it was that name that the pair gave their daughter. Unfortunately, things weren't so simple during the birth. Through unseen circumstances, Sora's ovaries had developed a cancerous tumour that the hospital didn't notice until said tumour had spread throughout her body, leading to her death while Kimiko was thirteen years of age. It is of course never an easy age when a parent dies, but knowing that it was way before her mother's time left the girl devastated. Using all her willpower that she had in life, Sora latched onto her daughter and now lives within her mind; providing protection and guidance to her treasured only child. In life, she stood at 5'3" tall; rather ironic due to her husband being a full eight inches taller than her when she was the controlling force in the relationship. She had lustrous long ebony black hair like her mother's, and the same chocolate brown eyes that her sister, and later her daughter inherited too. Many had joked and called her a 'walking pair of breasts' due to the size of her extras, and it seems that Kimiko is following in that path as well.

Combat Style: Ryuu is a prime example of a close-range fighter. His skill in close-range weaponry and Taijutsu means that he is a long-range fighter's worst nightmare. It fits very well with his personality; being up close and personal with opponents. He can fight mid-range with his mid-range weaponry skills, but mainly stays up front on a battle field. As a newly graduated Genin, he had been reckless and rushed into everything without much thought. After two years, however, he has wizened up and knows that he should take a bit more time to attack. He isn't too brilliant with strategy himself, but his teamwork is impeccable which means he doesn't particularly need to make strategies since he has Fuijisawa Emi on his team to do that for him.

Description: A skill gained by ninja who have begun to specialize in throwing weapons. From a combination of practice and natural talent the ninja starts to acquire pin-point accuracy which allows them tohit multiple targets in precise locations along with hurling their weapons at a greater speed.

Description: Ryuu is now seventeen years of age, and a very accomplished Chuunin. Quite a few of his classmates have already achieved this feat, leaving him as one of the only people to not have been put forward for the exam. He came into Kimiko's care during a mission she was on as an Academy Teacher and she offered a kind hand to him so that he could have a home and family where before he didn't have one. He lived with her for a few months in her apartment until he got his own, but even now he still goes back to be a resident in the young Katsumi's home. Since then, he has progressed massively as a young person. Whereas before he used to be loud, obnoxious and over-confident, he has mellowed down (although slightly) after learning what is important in life. He has accumulated many friends when before he had none, and he is proving that he can become a fine shinobi in the future. He argues that it is because of Kimiko's aid and compassion that this has happened, but she argues in return that it was within his capacity all along.
