Hello Setsu!~ Looks like I'm your first customer x3

I'd like you to make me a signature using this image. Can you take out the text on there and then you can do as you wish with effects and what-not. Make it a tad sombre and whatnot. I'd also like you to put the text 'A wild fire burns everything in its path...' on it somewhere in whichever font you think fits. Thank you! Depending on the sig, I may need a new avatar to go with it... x3

Could you use this image for the avatar? Just a simple one showing the face; effects and stuff are up to you, but if you could make it correspond with the way you did the siggy I chose. Maybe a border, shapes, Iunno. Whatever you like! No text on this please, just as is with effects and what-not!~

And you're a mod, so let me ask a question: Is the signature I made you too big? The rules said no bigger than 550x150.. the one I made you isn't too wide, but is slightly too tall. I can resize it for you.

Colouring would be wonderful~ The hair is pretty simple; just black. As for the eyes, if you can change those then can you make them dark brown? The colour in the first picture. Otherwise everything is fine, really.

And yes, I forgot about that actually! Thanks for re-sizing it; I'll get it up now.

As a fellow artist, I must say these are impressive thus far. And I must ask - how in the world did you make images look 3D? This is the first I've seen anyone successfully pull it off.

One has a border and one doesn't. Let me know if you want something changed. The scan was dirty, so I got her eyes as dark brown as I could.

@Phantom Heart - It's pretty easy to do in Photoshop. I also use GIMP, but I dunno how to do it there yet.

In photoshop (I use CS6 Extended)
1) Turn your base image black and white and flatten the image.
2) Duplicate the image and double click it to edit layer properties. The first window that pops up should be blending options: default. Uncheck the "G" and "B" on the channel. Take the move tool, click the layer, and move it slightly (I use my arrow keys). There you go!

Is this the same thing you used for your avatar? It looks good but it hurts my eyes... Usually what you want to do to add depth is use the Blur, Sharpen, Dodge and Burn tools. You blur, but just slightly, the things that are behind the focal point of the picture, and sharpen the focal point and things that are meant to be in front of it. With dodge and burn is more about how the light goes to add depth. With dodge you add light on things that are supposed to be lightened because you decided how the light goes in the signature and for burn you darken the parts that are covered by something from the light.
