| NARA, NAOKITHE INFO. Name: Nara Naoki Nickname: Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance:
Naoki is a somewhat short boy. He is five feet five inches tall and weighs fifty seven kilograms. He has spiky black hair that touches his shoulders. However, he often dies his hair dark-green, his reason being that his father did the same. He usually gels his hair to an extent it stays till in its spiky way. His hair also covers most of his forehead and lightly hangs right between his eyes. He has very thin, dark-green eyebrows. He has gentle yellow eyes. His sharp eyes somewhat match his hair. He has a long thin nose that is pointy at the end. It stays a centimeter away from his mouth. Like most people, he has very thin lips. His teeth are sharp and white, always kept clean. He has a long tongue that can touch his nose if he tried. His cheeks are flat and hard, and his chin is pointy like his nose. His ears on the other hand, are well shaped.
He has a long neck and broad shoulders. His bone right below the neck (clavicle) is easily spotted just like his nerve of the neck. His broad shoulders are straight and strong. His long arms fit perfectly with his broad shoulders. He has a big hand with big fingers that usually carry a knife. It was for self-defense at first but now it is one of his main weapons. His fingers are at least 3 inches long. He has a wide, big chest with a thin, small abdomen. He has a small six-pack too, but it is hard to notice until he takes his shirt off. He has a thin waist that is as big as his abdomens. He has long legs with big feet.
His choice of clothing sometimes varies. But he always carries his pendant around with him wherever he goes or whatever he wears. The pendant is made of steel, and is very big. It could fit right around his shoulders but he wears them only for his neck. The end of the pendant has two rectangular boxes with a good luck charm written on it. Despite his cloth variations, he has a regular outfit. In his regular outfit, he wears a big red shirt that opens right below his clavicle bone. The shirt is pretty much plain, it's only red in color and has no design on it. The shirt is made of cotton but is very thin, so it sometimes make him cold. For this reason he wears a big coat over his shirt. The coat-jacket reaches a little below his waist in length, and fits him almost perfectly from width although it is a little loose. It has a zip at the end. Like most jackets, the zip is optional, it can be taken out as well. But he prefers to wear it halfway. The jacket is long-sleeved. It has a military-like green pattern on it. It's mainly green, but there are exceptions, like the big black collars and the long ends of the sleeves. With it he wears long black trousers with no pattern. He wear flexible shoes fit for running. His other outfits include the bear-like hooded outfit and the more military like hatted outfit that will be described later on. One of his other outfits include military-like clothing such as a green military sack-like hat of sorts with the Kirigakure emblem on its side. As a clothing in this outfit, he wears a black shirt with long sleeves that he folds backwards and a big green coat with black gloves that have Kirigakure's emblem on it. As if the three emblems were not enough, Naoki even put a huge Kirigakure emblem on the back of the green jacket! He wore black pants in this outfit. Forehead Protector: Gloves. Personality:
Naoki was a strong, healthy young man ready to conquer the world. He is very enthusiastic and easily gets excited for the silliest of things. However, many people would agree that his annoyance meter was no where near to that of Kirigakure folklore legend Kazan Isamu as he did not constantly bother people over nothing and he learned from his mistakes as well as the fact that he does not pointlessly cause havoc. He was bratty in his own way, mainly in teh battlefield when he would overuse his confidence to go a little overboard and end up causing a bigger mess than planned or sometimes flopping the plan in whole. Either way, he makes sure he cleans up his own messes. Naoki hates too much noise but does not like too much silence either. He is a stubborn person. He does what he thinks is right and sticks to that decision. Many people who know him would know this factor about him. Even during missions, even after "listening" to a higher-up telling him to do something and that thing alone, he would easily put it aside to do what he found more important in his own to-do list. He acts on his own, doing what he thinks is right. Even though he was like this when he was alone or people who he was familiar with, he was usually quite uncomfortable around strangers. He felt rather shy and awkward around strangers.
To people who know Naoki well, he shows a different side. A side that hides very few things about him. He would not act shy around them if he knows them well enough. He would however, remain in his tough attitude. But he usually does reveal the inner side of him and acts like he didn't do it which brings people to tears of laughter. He would crack up jokes and pranks now and then, stuff he wouldn't do when people who he doesn't know are around. He enjoys little company of people, even though he hates too much noise. As mentioned, he hated too much silence. He would feel lonely when separated from people but when he is around people he tries his best not to show his joy (usually failing to do so). He was weird in that way. People who know him know this side of him however. They would understand how he felt. More importantly, they would realize that deep inside, he needed them. Without friends, Naoki would suffer. Without friends, no living thing can exist. This was logic, basic idea of life to Naoki. Outside and inside, he is very protective of his friends. Friendship is the main idea of life for Nara Naoki. He thinks of friends as treasures worth over a billion dollars.
Noticeably, Naoki likes to talk in 3rd person. He loves to use Illeism. For example, when he is hungry, he would say, "Naoki is hungry!" instead of saying the appropriate "I'm hungry!" Other times are when he is in a battle. For example it is a three on one battle, with Naoki and his team on one side, facing a single enemy on the other side. If he is asked whether he is ready or not, he would pop a "Naoki ready!" instead of the proper "I'm ready!". It was a childish manner but in his defense, he developed this habit when he was a child and it was hard for him not to talk like this as he was too used to it. However, due to constant complains, he's been trying to reduce it to almost no avail. He no longer narrated everything that happened as he used to do. He just used illeism when he referred to himself and a few other things. He didn't usually use it when referring to other people. Another habit of his was to use the formal -kun, -chan, or -san after the names of his friends or relatives. These traits about him are seen regularly on an everyday basis.

Being a Nara clansman, he often had to rely on his wits. However, his ego usually got in the way and made his develop a balance between wits and brute force. He would analyze his opponent/s for a short while before attacking, to make sure he doesn't walk straight into a trap or do something foolish. After gathering enough information, he would start step two by using his skills as a Nara to control the shadows. He would prepare his shadow attacks and attempt to trap his enemy/s with his shadows, attempting to catch them off-guard. After trapping the enemy/s, Naoki would either attack with long range Katon techniques to roast them while they are trapped. He has a strange sense of respect towards his enemies as he would let them pick up a dropped weapon or recover after a slip or a foolish mistake of similar sorts. He believed in finishing the enemy without messing around with him/her to show respect. He never relies on cheap tactics as he's an honorable shinobi despite being from the Bloody Mist. When he is fighting alongside comrades, he lets his comrades attack first and holds his comrades from attacking the enemy cheaply and encourages them to show respect to the enemies. When fighting under the lead of someone else, he would usually listen at first but when things get too difficult (as they usually do), he often worked things out his own way with his own tactics. When leading other shinobi, he traps the enemy/s with his Nara techniques and lets the others attack.
His wits as a Nara clansman gave him the intelligence to develop strategies and make wise decisions. However, despite his shyness around strangers, he did have a will to win, the urge for victory and a huge ego. Even though he would stick to plan when fighting regularly, if he is fighting someone he hates very much or has a personal grudge against, or if his opponent/s manage to anger him enough by harming one of his friends or some other means which would offend him or anyone he cares about, or any thing he values, he would easily, but slowly go off the track and get carried away from his original plan. It was one of his weaknesses. Then again, his Nara instincts to plan well would lead him into developing another strategy but then again, his opponent could carry him out of this strategy via the same tactics and the cycle would repeat until he reaches his limit and sticks to brute force. If something went wrong and his strategy began to fail without him abandoning it on his own, his Nara instincts would lead for him to develop another one under the new circumstances. As long as he has enough power under his control (through men, chakra, weaponry, creatures etc.), his strategies would never run out. However, if he is angered enough for him to abandon one strategy and think another one, and the opponent repeats this until he gets Naoki cornered with no other strategy to develop, he was done for. However, that was hard to do as he had varieties of strategies. He would need enough power to execute powerful strategies. For instance, he couldn't possibly come up with a five man strategy when there are only two in the whole team. Nor could he use huge amounts of chakra when he didn't have enough. To get him alone without others to back him up while having his chakra exhausted would be almost a sure way to get him (provided that you are not in a critical condition yourself). The next best way would be to anger him and provoke him until his ego gets in the way and he abandons strategies in which point the usual battle of wits would turn into a brutal battle which the opponent would be able to win if he or she was physically more powerful than Naoki. When fighting one-on-one, he used his brutal force and was a little careless about strategies unless he was fighting a powerful opponent in which case he would take his time to develop proper strategies.. When fighting with more people on Naoki's side, expect the unexpected as it is almost always a battle of wits. Special Characteristics:

THE BACKGROUND. History:
::Childhood Arc:: Nara Naoki was the only son of two Kirigakure shinobi namely Nara Misaki the mother and Nara Daiki the father. Misaki was from a family who had a family profession of medical ninja. Misaki worked as a medical ninja to keep the hereditary thing going. Daiki was from a family which had a farming history. As he could not perform better tasks and also as he wanted to continue the family tradition, he became a farmer. In the Bloody Mist, people were often injured and the constant rain overdid it and made it difficult for farmers to grow crops. Misaki and Daiki worked very, very hard to earn enough money to be able to take care of Naoki. However, their work places were very far from each other and they had to take turns taking care of Naoki who at such a young age understood the burden and respected his parents, loving them both equally. As he grew and grew, it became difficult for his parents to afford him. After hearing this, Naoki wanted to go to the academy to learn from there and get a job of his own to help his parents. Hearing his idea, his parents saved enough to send him to the academy. The academy was far from his father's place, a small farm house in a field somewhere near the coasts and it was far away from his mother's place, a hospital where she spent nights awake looking after sick patients. To make it easier for Naoki to reach the academy, his parents decided to send him to Nara Hideki, who was the elder brother of his mother Misaki and childhood friend of his father Daiki. His parents were both comfortable about sending him to Hideki, who lived in a small house near the academy. The man was not rich but he did have enough space in his house for Naoki. Hideki lived with his wife Aoi and their twin children Isamu and Osamu who were both five years old (two years younger than Naoki) when Naoki (who was seven years old at the time) moved in. Naoki got along well with the twins. They treated him like their brother and looked up to him as a role model. Hideki and Aoi treated Naoki like their own child and took good care of him. Naoki would sleep in their house, wake up and go to the academy each day, then visit his mother and then his father before taking a long walk back home to sleep in their house once again. This became a cycle for him.
::Genin Arc:: As he grew up and graduated from the academy, he had to make some progress to remain on his path in order to fulfill his promise to his parents about getting a job in order to help loosen the weight on the backs of his parents. However, no one would hire a young Genin to do a man's job and so he had to progress further while completing simple missions which he could take in order to get some money to help his parents a bit. He did not bother applying for a team as he found that constantly completing these missions were both thrilling and helpful for him as it gave him pleasure while giving his parents some money. He figured that he didn't need a team. However, he soon found out that higher ranked missions gave better money and better thrills. He set his eyes on the Chuunin rank and decided to rank up. Seeing as the team slots were filled up as of then, he worked alone, training relentlessly. He often went missing for days. He worried his parents and uncle when he returned each time, exhausted and filled with bruises in his hand from all that wood-punching and bandit-fighting. He was around twelve when this habit started. It took him three years to rise well above the skill range of the average Kirigakure Genin. After demonstrating his skills to his relatives, his father suggested for him to meet the council to show them his skill and get a Chuunin promotion. After doing a few more missions to elevate his reputation, he went to the Council.
::Chuunin Arc:: After showing a demonstration to one of the council members, Naoki was given a Chuunin promotion. He had fought a Council member in a non-serious, weapon-less, jutsu-less match to demonstrate his skill. Even though he was beat, it was proven beyond doubt that he was a far call from the skill of an average Genin. He was without doubt capable of taking the title of "Chuunin" and being able to keep it and live up to his reputation. With that, Naoki continued to walk his path of improving himself and helping his parents out while still chasing the thrill. He still resided with his uncle's family and both his parents still work hard. His parents were considering retirement by the time Naoki turned twenty. They had earned a lot for themselves and were trying to buy a house for them to live in. Naoki assured them that he was happy living with his uncle, looking after the twins. To make them believe him, Naoki promised them that one day soon he would earn enough to buy them a house so that the three of them could live together in it. His cycle remained intact with his academy out of the way. He spent his academy time training the twins, taking random walks to meet new people and fight, or more, spar them for thrills. - Naoki had looked in confusion as Touko had continued to gaze at the stars above without stopping to greet him or say hello. Naoki was bothered a little but did not want to complain. He waited patiently for him to reply. He realized he was in desperate need for something from the way he looked. He looked at his fists as he tightened them and feet as it sent ripples across the lake like a monster snoring. He was confused on why Touko was looking like this. The last time he met him back in the Manguro Marshes sparring with Take, he seemed like a normal kid happy to serve and now he seemed like a desperate, angered child in search of one specific something. Naoki had no idea what the specific something was but he was smart enough to realize of its presence. When he approached him, he expected him to snap out of the vast thoughts he was lost in and so he had walked towards him to thank him.
He was hopeful as he saw Touko's eyes widen, he just knew he would be positive on Naoki's thanking and so he had been, but in a strange manner. Confused as ever, Naoki looked as Touko did not face him as he went on with his thanking and greeting. He was puzzled to how he could remain straight and uninterested as a friend of him had greeted him. Naoki was a strong believer of friendship although he had only recently met his first friends; Hotaru, Touko, and Take. Up till now Naoki values them over his life even though he did not know them well. To be exact he saw Hotaru and Take only once, Touko being the first he saw twice. He waited patiently to see the brightness in his tone as Touko replied. However, he did not see it. He had continued with the second part of the thanking and waited patiently once again for a reply. When he received the first reply, he was just about satisfied. With a sudden smile he placed his right hand on Touko's shoulder and said, "Touko-san? Favors are to be thanked for. Touko-san didn't have to do what he did, he could have left Naoki to suffer but he didn't. It reminded Naoki of an incident in his own past but he won't be drifting into that. Naoki just wants to say thanks for caring for him. Naoki just realized the importance of friendship further so as a friend Naoki would like to repay something for Touko-san in gratitude for his favor that kept him alive," He said amazed by his own words, "So speak up, Naoki would do just about anything!" He said cheerfully. Naoki waited for a reply which didn't come. Touko was drifted in thoughts of his real self and identity and therefore did not turn to face him. Disappointed, Naoki sighed a little.
He had his right hand still on his shoulder as he had looked up and commented on the stars. Still no response he said to himself in his mind. He looked at Touko once more to see him still lost in thought. It was then had he decided to ask him some questions, seeing he was out this late at night all by himself at the lake gazing at the stars lost in thought. As he asked the questions, Touko had finally snapped out of it. He realized this and asked a second and third question. Flooding him with questions, Naoki leaned closer to him, curiously. He then saw him lost in thought again after finally replying. From what he said, Naoki's eyes brightened. So he was right all along! Touko was an orphan as well! At least Naoki had an adoptive parent to look after him, something Touko probably did not have, from what it seems like in his answers. Naoki's eyes brightened further as he looked away from the stars.
"So Touko finally stepped out of it. Say, from what you said I understand you do not have living parents to guide you. From how you acted, I also realized you need a purpose for life. The way you responded at first told me you think of yourself as a random guy going around healing people. That's not true. If you act more sociable, you'll make friends that will last you for an eternity. So stop thinking that way this instant. You might not have someone important to you alive, at least in your mindset you may not," He paused, "From what I have been told by the Sanrinkage, we're all family here so let's act like family for once, pour it all out, don't hide anything from me, tell me the truth about yourself I'll help you like a brother would! I won't hide anything about me either, to be honest my parents died in Konoha, I have an adoptive father however.." He said dropping his third person talking for once, like always full of energy in his words which he rarely says without purpose. He wasn't sick of talking that way but he was teased about it in Konoha childhood and therefore tried to avoid it. He saw the puzzled faces of people who talk to him. Having seen Hotaru's puzzled face, he tried his best not to talk that way. He decided to practice. Childish manner but with that he would be helping out his friends understand his words better.
Naoki looked confused once again as Touko stared at him with cold eyes in an odd fashion, as he told him to attack him, Naoki stepped a feet back in self defense. From his voice he could see he was getting out of control or something. "What are you talking about? You want me to injure you in turn for you healing me? That's pathetic, I wouldn't do such a thing!" He said, "If you want a friendly spar, I'll provide you with it, if not I'm afraid we're gonna have to drop the idea."
THE ARSENAL. - Academy Jutsu:
Name: Bunshin no Jutsu • Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Genjutsu Range: N/A Medium: Optical Element: N/A Description: This technique creates identical clones of the user. However, they hold no actual substance and will disperse upon impact of an attack or contact with an opponent. They cannot disrupt the area around themselves with their movements; won’t kick up dust, crush grass, etc. They are simply optical illusions used to momentarily fool others. Name: Henge no Jutsu • Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique transforms the user’s appearance to that of another object or person. However, it is not a permanent transformation and a mental image of what they are transformed into. Certain aspects of a ninja will not change merely by transformation, these things may include injuries, tool pocket placements etc. The jutsu will dispel should the user be injured. The user does not gain the properties of their transformation (ie. horse like strength), and may only transform into something ranging between 1/2 of their regular size, to 2x their regular size. Thus one cannot transform into large creatures. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu • Body Replacement Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: 10 meters Element: N/A Description: After performing a tiger seal, this technique allows the user to alter places in a speedy manner with another nearby object. This is done mere seconds before an attack lands, thus making the attacker believe his or her attack was a success. Whatever object was used to alter places will receive the brunt of the enemy’s attack instead. The object that the user switches with must be preset somewhere else in the thread, meaning that the object must have received specific mention previously in the thread. Chakra Cost: 2
Name: Explosive Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to activate an explosive tag they have planted somewhere. Preferably they should be within close to mid range and visible to the user. You cannot activate another persons explosive tags unless your chakra has been channeled into them beforehand. Chakra Cost: 1 (per 3 explosive notes)
Name: Kai • Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: By stopping the flow of chakra in their body, and then applying an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; the user may dispel the effects of a genjutsu. This can also be used on another individual that is stuck in a genjutsu by preforming the necessary hand seal and then touching them, although it consumes half the chakra cost of the Genjutsu. Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu • Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to free themselves should they be tied up. It is extremely basic. Using their physical training, the user will twist and contort their body to loosen their bindings, effectively relieving themselves of the tightness of their bindings and slipping through the restraints. This technique can only be used if the user is of equal or higher rank than their captor. Chakra Cost: 1
Name: Chozou no Jutsu • Storage Technique Rank: E Type: Fuuinjutsu, Supplementary Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: N/A Description: A simple jutsu that allows a ninja to seal or unseal any item, mostly weapons, from scrolls or from their body. After forming the necessary handsigns, the ninja will seal the item into a scroll etc. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons or have other seals inside of them, which expands the number of potential tricks a shinobi can use. The items themselves are unaffected by time. Ninjutsu can also be stored in scrolls, to be released when the scroll is opened, but require another person to cast said Ninjutsu; else it cannot be sealed. Chakra Cost: 1 to seal; 1 to unseal.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza • Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: NA Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on water by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet or hands. Because of water’s nature, this requires the user to be quick to adjust the amount of chakra they must emit to their feet in order to maintain a constant balance. Users may also walk, run and “skate” across the water when using this technique. Chakra Cost: 1 (1 per post)
Name: Kinobori no Waza • Act of Tree Climbing Rank: D Type: N/A Range: N/A Element: N/A Description: This technique allows the user to balance themselves on trees and vertical walls by focusing a constant and steady stream of chakra to the user’s feet. Gravity can easy be defined if this technique is mastered, allowing people to even stand upside down. If too much chakra is exerted the user will be pushed away; bark breaking and causing the user to then fall. If not enough chakra is exerted the user will lose their footing and fall. - CANNON Katon Jutsu:
Name: Endan - Fireball Rank: D-A Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m – 10m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: Katon • Endan is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After doing the necessary hand seals, the ninja draws chakra to their lungs before swiftly exhaling it, allowing them to blow a jet of fire from their mouth. Depending on the rank at which it is performed, Endan ranges in size and heat. Starting at a moderate level of heat and a reach of up to 3m, at D rank, and increasing in temperature to an intense heat and up to a 10m reach, when performed at A rank. Name: Goukakyuu no Jutsu - Great Fireball Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it. Chakra Cost: 5 (2 per post)
Name: Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Ryuuka no Jutsu - Dragon Fire Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: The user breathes fire along a cord or any other type of long object, which rushes forward in straight line catching the enemy on fire. The flames are meant to target, and assault the enemy's upper body just like a projectile weapon. Chakra Cost: 5
Name: Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu - Mist Waltz Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: After performing the necessary hand seals, the user is able to create and blow a flammable gas from their lungs. Once it comes in contact with fire or sparks, the gas ignites into a large fireball. Chakra Cost: 8
Name: Gouryuuka no Jutsu - Great Dragon Fire Technique Rank: B Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m), Far (10+) Element: Katon (Fire) Description: The user compresses a large amount of chakra built up inside their body and changes it into a dragon-shaped fireball. The user then skillfully manipulates that great fire, and attacks their opponent. Even outside of the attack range, its power and reliability are stressed. The flames have a high temperature, as they can create an upward movement of air currents which in turn can give rise to thunder clouds. Name: Kagemane no Jutsu | Shadow Imitation Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Range: Close (0m - 5m), Mid (5m - 10m) Clan: Nara Description: Kage Mane no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique used by the members of the Nara clan. It's original purpose was as a skill to help delay any pursuers. After forming the needed hand seals, the clan member is able to manipulate their shadow along any surface. They may use other nearby shadows to further extend the reach of their shadow, however they are limited to the surface area of the original cast shadow (They may not exceed an additional 15m of shadow this way). Once the clan members shadow reaches the target shadow, it will attach itself. While attached the target will be frozen, only able to replicate in mirror form the actions of the clan member. If the clan member is low on chakra, the Kage Mane will falter and the shadow will return to its normal form. The time of day should be carefully noted by those using this technique. If the sun is setting, the shadow will naturally be bigger, and thus able to hit the maximum range. If the sun is halfway across the sky, than the shadow will be much smaller, and incapable of reaching even the 5m limit. Additionally, if the struck member exerts 14CP of chakra (Whether it be physical force or some other In Character method), they may reject the shadow binding and free themselves. | I see that you have already written the looks up for this character, but there are clan traits that you have to follow, like the Nara clan only having dark brown/black hair. So you might wanna say that he dyes his hair the color green in order to get it like that. Something simple like that'll do, and you can just RP with him having green hair.
