Greetings to all you beautiful new people~! Those from Ingoo and every other corner of the internet as well~!

Wow, are things suddenly hectic! I know there’s a lot to read in our systems~ Trust me, it’s worth the effort. Even after the information bombardment is over, however, I know there are often a few things you’re just not 100% sure on, or would just like to hear it from someone here and now, and it’s not always as easy as it sounds to just grab a quick confirmation since the chatbox is often so busy. So here, I’m just going to post up the answers to some questions I’m getting most often, and a few links I think you’ll find especially handy~ Hopefully this’ll let you guys get back to your creations sooner than jumping into chat would.

First and foremost, something many of you might find helpful, as I did when making my character, is the GUIDE that goes with the Character Creation template. It walks through each category of the template and gives a better run-down of what’s needed there.

Now on to the FAQ

I want to be a Hyuuga/Uchiha/other cannon clansmen! Are they limited, or do I need permission?

All our canon clans can be found HERE, and it really depends which clan you’re aiming for as to whether you need to snag a spot before they’re all gone or start hooking an admin to get permission; this information can be found at the very bottom of each clan page under the section of the template called “Clan Detail”. An “Open” clan has unlimited space and requires no special permissions, just throw it on your app! A clan that has a counter, e.g. “[1/6]” is limited to the number of spaces specified, but most still don’t need admin approval. The only clans you need permission to apply for, will say so right next to their counter.

Can I make my own clan?

Yes indeedly you can! First of all, you’ll want to read THIS little tid-bit, then make a thread using the TEMPLATE, and post it over HERE. Your clan will need to be approved before any characters you make who belong to it.

If you take a clan of any kind, be sure to link the clan page to your character app for the sake of the creation team

We have to start at Genin here, don’t we?

Yup, C ranks for everyone~ Don’t worry, once you’re approved, you’ll be climbing through the ranks before you know it.

Specialties and Elements- I can start with two?

Yup again~ Choose your specialties wisely, as you can’t use techniques from areas you don’t specialise in unless they’re only E ranked, and then, not from the medical or puppetry specs. As for elements, you can start with two (though you don’t HAVE to if you don’t want to), and any clans with advanced elemental KKG, like Senju and Yuki, will have three; the advanced element and the two base elements that mix to make it. E.g. Suiton, Doton and Mokuton for Senju, or Suiton, Fuuton and Hyoton for Yuki.

Do the Academy Jutsu count towards the 15 jutsu starting limit?

No, they don’t. You get all of the Academy Jutsu and then 15 more on top of them~ You can also start with custom made justu; just put them on your app under an appropriate heading in your arsenal and they’ll be modded with your character!

Can I start with a creature summon?

No, sorry. But as soon as your character is approved, you can dive right into making that!

Do I have to train my jutsu and SCs?

You don’t have to train any jutsu here on US, we use a system of “Funds”, which are gained through RPing, to buy items, weapons and jutsu after creation (the ones on your app are free! So take advantage and get as much as you can~). The Special Characteristic on your application doesn’t need to be trained for; that one’s a freebie, but any you want after you’re approved will need to be trained IC.

I want a Bijuu! How do I get one?

To apply for a Bijuu, you’ll need to speak to Adam before making a character, who you can reach via PM, or on Skype (which is adam.price45). Information on the tailed beasts as well as info on which ones are sealed and which are available, click HERE.
