Hey there.

The name is actually Onyx, but call me Nick. My parents were in love with Pokemon when it originally came out in 1992 and I doubt they realized the ridicule I'd face growing up. However, I still love them, I've come to terms with my name and as the wonderful Johnny Cash sang,

"Well he most o' thought, "That is quite a joke,"
and it got lots of laughs from a lot of folks,
It seems I had to fight my whole life through.
Some gal would giggle and I'd get real red,
And some guy'd laugh and I'd bust his head.
I tell yeah, life ain't easy for a boy named Onyx."
