Akimaru held up his hand to halt the team. They were stood around 100 yards away from the camp the missing-ninja had set up. Akimaru signed that the team were to use a stealthy approach from here on out. Akimaru ducked behind a tree, making no noise. Basic ninja techniques such as silent footsteps were key for getting the upper hand. Strategies were still flying through Akimaru's head, even though he was certain which one he was going to use. Minutes flew by, and he could just hear incoherent chatter between the targets. By the sounds of their voices, he estimated there was four, sitting down, because he could hear them better when he crouched. Akimaru's thoughts were confirmed when he stole a glance at the camp, and saw them all sat in a circle, talking. One of the four was facing directly towards Akimaru and the team, so approaching more would be difficult.

A distraction would be needed. Akimaru wanted to try a new style of jutsu which he had never tested before. It would be very risky to use in a mission like this, but he decided a risk once in a while was worth it. Akimaru crouched behind the tree, and placed his hand in the ground. He was going to attempt to make a distraction with the earth next to the targets. Earth way beyond his reach and out of his contact. He touched the floor with his palm, and channeled his chakra through the earth. It was a weird sensation. He had felt the earth when it was damp like this, but this was a whole different manner. It felt like punching his hand through slime. Eventually, he felt his chakra at an estimated 100 yards away. He couldn't be sure as he couldn't see. Twisting his chakra as it rose, he attempted to make it into a swiping hand.

The look on Zetsumei's face told him he had failed. He looked around the tree once more, and saw all he had managed to do was make the soggy earth flop around a little. But it had worked. All the ninja were looking away. Akimaru signalled his team to jump forward a few more yards behind the next row of trees. Now having a closer earshot, Akimaru distinctly heard; "What was that?" Feeling braver than he actually was, Akimaru came out from behind his cover and said; "That; was me."

The 4 of them laughed and ate heartily around their warm camp fire, happy to be free of rules and the male entrapment. Nia, the youngest and cutest of them all happily took a marshmallow, freshly toasted on the fire, and placed it into her mouth, and swallowed it whole, grinning as she did so. The rest of them enjoyed similar luxuries of relaxation, but Sakura was not at ease. She had a very bad feeling about the night, something just wasn't sitting right. Nia began to speak to tomoko, but Sakura cut her off mid sentence. Speaking in a code language only they would understand, Sakura used seemingly everyday phrases, and common, natural conversation to inform the other three that she had heard something, and that they should all be on the lookout. she finished the conversation by telling the three that she would be going to sleep, which obviously meant nothing of the sort.

Sakura got up from her comfortable sitting position, stretched, and walked into her tent, where she zipped the thing shut on that side. In fact, however, she walked to the back of the tent, where it was still open, facing away from the direction that she heard the noise coming from. Though she hoped it was nothing but a small animal, she couldn't doubt her root ninja instincts. Placing a bowl of water just inside the tent, she made several one-handed hand seals, and 7 birds made out of ice appeared. She instructed them all to fly high up into the air, where they couldn't be spotted, to go in the direction she heard the noise coming from, and to fly back to Sakura if they found anyone. The little birds took off silently into the night, and after a few seconds, they were no longer visible.

In a fashion similar to Sakura, tomoko also left the campfire, saying good night to her friends, she retreated to her own tent, where she pretended to fall asleep. In fact, however, Tomoko silently crept out into the darkness, and making several silent handseals, dissapeared into the earth, where she could monitor the camp's activity's through sound, and if anyone entered the camp, she could spring a surprise attack. Nia and Kani waited patiently at the campfire, continuing to enjoy food and merryment, but at the same time kept their guard entirely up, ready for an attack at any moment, they would be ready to defend the camp.

Zetsumei stared as Akimaru took lead. He knew that he wasn't rightfully leader yet he couldn't help himself from doing his own actions; and ordering everyone to do some strategic manoeuvrings of his own. Zetsumei saw Akimaru make a signal to stop and as the rest did, so did he. He was constantly peeking in and out to see them for he wasn't that scared of them. As he found himself in the best offensive position he felt this was where he took the lead. Zetsumei watched as Akimaru silently placed his hand on the ground and made a distraction. At the point of distraction they all hoped behind another tree, except for Zetsumei who went the opposite way.

Upon seeing two of them both miraculously go into their tents just after the distraction Klown decided it was his time to be lone wolf so he went the opposite way crawling along the floor to get behind their campsite which was successful. Zetsumei saw the girl outside the tent; but had no way of telling Akimaru. Akimaru had now revealed himself to them rather foolishly. Zetsumei was now unsure what to do. The konoha Chuunin decided that it was best to just stay hidden while they fought.So he could sneak out for a counter attack.

Zetsumei was feeling rather calm unusually for this type of mission. Seeing as battle was about to start very soon Zetsumei prepared himself in case his position was known by the opponents. Zetsumei could see two boys sitting around the fire still having a good time he could see one girl behind her tent; she had probably already found out about the two genin there already. Zetsumei felt that the right thing to do was reveal himself but he knew that was stupid as he had the upper hand considering where he was.

Zetsumei could hear the boys talking and being silly, as to be expected from kids so young. He then heard the ground split, he was probably the only one as he was so close to where he heard it come from. He heard it come from the tent adjacent to him. He moved in silently of course so to be unheard but he could hear better. Klown was smart though as he had prepared handsigns for a fire jutsu if needed. Zetsumei could just wait now for the others to do something.

Zetsumei's heart was now pounding mercilessly and the emotions had set in. He was ready for battle only did not want to kill. He knew what was expected of him which was to protect the genin at all costs. Zetsumei did not activate sharingan yet as it was unneeded.

He was high in a tree, hidden by shadows and branches, though he had a clear view of the camp and the surrounding underbrush. This tree was about ten feet away from Aaron. The rain fell overhead, making the area wet and muddy, which was always more fun. The moon was not visible through the clouds, though his two wolf summons that were on the other side of him, hidden in the underbrush and by the tents, were clear as day to him. Some times. Other times he could not see them. They had to slightly pick up their heads and look directly into his eyes. It made him smile. The element of surprise was hopefully with them, even if the trouble makers knew all about the presence of the humans and himself. He expected the worse and hoped for the best. He had already told the plan to the wolves, and so far, the humans hadn't screwed it up.

Fang had seen the pitiful attempt at a distraction. It was quite pitiful. However, it did do it's job to a degree. It made Klown feel confident enough to relocate and made Aaron....Oh no, what the f*ck is he doing? Fang yelled on the inside as Aaron made a fools move and showed himself without the team being ready or informed. He had screwed it up. Fang decided right then and there to make his move. He made a motion to his wolves and used his Thunder Clap Jutsu. Under the cover of the thunder, Fang jumped from the tree, high into the air, and began to plummet toward the ground, belly down, claws out with all four Claw Extension Gloves aimed at the the closest toward Aaron. He knew there was a chance of this being seen, but he also know there was a chance that the four of them would be distracted by his falling attack so that the two summons, who had charged at the thunder, could attack the two farthest villains, aiming for the back of the knee. It may not have been the most perfect plan in the world, but it was sure damn better than what Aaron had thought to do. ( XP )

As the thunderclap hit, Sakura was not initially surprised. However, after a second or two of thinking she realized that it was really loud thunder, almost deafeningly loud. And there wasn't any lightning that close that had come before it. It was artificial. Running to the front of the camp where Nia and kani sat, she was about to tell them to be on the look out, that the thunder was fake, but they had obviously came to the same conclusion. Though it may have been on accident, because they were also nervous, questioning everything most definitely had it's upper points. Sakura joined the two, and was waiting, ready to fight, when two wolves ran from the forest, aiming for Nia and Kani. Before Sakura, could even move, Nia had taken a tanto in each hand, ready and concentrated, ran one through each of the wolves, who were mid stride, and had no way of altering their momentum. The strike had most certainly killed them.

As that happened, Sakura heard another sound, a rustling of leaves. She made several handsigns, and as she did so, her birds shot out of the trees at a high speed and attacked the wolf man mid-pounce. There was virtually no way to avoid all of them, especially with his attack concentrated on Sakura. As they hit, her opponent would feel as if the birds had some sort of strange effect, as a feeling of freezing enveloped his body, most likely forcing him to shiver uncontrollably. He would have no real way to decipher it as a genjutsu, but Sakura didn't rule it out as impossible. Instead, she jumped back as her opponent would've landed on her, and got ready to form the next attack.

As she did, Kani ran at high speed, and just as the wolf would've landed on the ground, aimed a strong, well placed kick to his stomach, as she shouted "Rising Wind!" the kick would definitely cause alot of pain if it hit, and would doubtlessly send the opponent back a few meters, creating a nice little bubble of space between her and the half human's most likely deadly abilities.

He crouched in the mud and sighed softly. Now his pants were getting all muddy. He slowly and cautiously crawled over to a bush around the enemy's campsite and peeked through the small gaps left by the bushes. Four. Two left to go to separate tents. Only two to worry about then. He smirked and withdrew a kunai, but Break lost the grip of it when a loud thunder boomed. Clumsily, he caught it before it was able to hit the wet dirty ground. He looked up into a tree to see his teammate, or at least the shadowy figure of him. He gave him a quick dirty look and looked back, to see that one ninja had returned. He smirked and body flickered into the campsite with kunai gripped tightly in his hand. If the c-rank missing ninja, said to be the leader of the pack, had not moved by that time a kunai would be close to the throat. If she were to move, then Break would of just blown his cover, the move would be in vain, and he would be screwed. He hoped for the best...

The battlefield flipped into motion. Now was Akimaru's time to shine. He was to protect the other three at all costs. Akimaru watched in horror as the dog-genin (who's name he still did not know) was about to be double teamed by two of the opposing ninja. Some sort of birds attacked the genin, and Akimaru saw the second ninja ready to strike. Deciding in a instant, he made handseals, slammed his hands down into the earth and said: "Doton: Doryūheki"

Right where the opponent was kicking out, a large protective wall emerged rapidly out of the ground. The most probable outcome was that the ninja would smash her foot into the earth, which Akimaru guessed, would be painful. Scrapping the idea of a stealthy launch, Akimaru shouted: "Team, assemble!" The adrenaline pumping through his veins meant he forgot to be nervous about speaking openly. He just wanted everyone to get out of this alive.

Analysing the battlefield in seconds, taking in every leaf of every tree, every enemy's stance and what jutsu he had seen so far, Akimaru waited anxiously for his team to assemble behind him, as he dearly hoped they would. Once in the right formation, this battle would certainly go his way. "I've been foolish." Akimaru thought sadly to himself. But now was no time to wallow in self-pity. He had to rectify his own mistake.

It was finally Tomoko's time for action. At the exact point that the ninja body flickered into range behind Sakura, Tomoko activated her jutsu. If it worked, tomoko's hand would grab onto the ninja's leg and switch places with her beneath the earth, entirely immobilizing her, leaving only her head above ground. This was very unlikely to be dodged, as the ninja was mid attack, even if tomoko didn't know this, and was just aiming for a basic attack. Just as tomoko popped above the ground, she her someone say "Team, Assemble!". At that precise moment she jumped into the air, and attempted to land a well placed downwards kick to this attacker's forehead.

As kani's strong leg hit the earth, it cracked it, with pain. Seizing the opportunity, she placed her foot on the wall and kicked off high into the air, landing on the ground several meters away. Sakura meanwhile, still close to her opponent's, made several handseals, and shouted "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" About 50 clones of her appeared, and though they weren't real shadow clones, they would certainly appear to be. She took a few steps back, and her clones assembled behind her. She spoke in a harsh, unforgiving tone. "Turn back now, before you regret ever coming!" Kani and Nia stood on either side of her, though Tomoko was mid attack.

Sakura, despite exuding confidence and superiority was slightly worried about this battle. There was 4 of them, and sakura's team was almost entirely outranked. She'd been battling against the male influence all her life, and she wasn't about to stop now. And hey, if she could take a few men to the grave with her, it would all be worth it, wouldnt it? The main thing she worried about were the ninja under her command. She couldn't fail them or let them die. It wasn't Sakura's choice to make. She would protect them till the end of her days, which could be today, unfortunately. Her expression grew fiecer as she awaited a reply from the opposing team. Looking to her left and right she saw Nia and Kani, both of whom had a fierce, ready, look on their face, but Sakura could tell they too were afraid. Sakura didn't know how she would do it, but she would pull her team through this battle.

Fang free fell through this sky toward the ground. He noticed action below him. A girl backed away and a girl that predicted his fall pattern rushed to the spot where she felt he was going to land, near the spot the girl that had backed away from was. Let's start there. Fang thought with a smile. Fang used a few hand-seals and activated Dendou Underi as he turned his body pointed himself straight down so that he fell head first. He gained speed as he fell. For a brief second, he caught the glimpse of smoke and knew in his heart his two summons had been vanquished.

At the top of his lungs, he released a roar of torment and rage. He was close to the ground, so he turned his feet to face the ground, knees bent in a fighting stance. He saw the kick begin to come at him. He tensed in response, preparing to counter the kick, when a slab of rock came in between him and his prey. Before impact, he saw the slab crack. His combat instincts told him the prey had connected with the slab. He landed on his feet, slicing through the slab like butter, due to it already being unstable. He landed, the Dendou Underi most likely already having an effect. As he landed, he slashed his right paw at the calf of the leg that had just kicked and his left paw at the closest shoulder. If he stabbed through anything, he would hold it with dear life and keep the girl close to him to continue to shock her with Dendou Underi. At this time, if nothing was done from his teammates to stop the birds, he would be hit by the full force of them.

Zetsumei saw how the wolf boy was flying through the air and went to strike the person through the slab. Zetsumei wished they would get out of there as Akimaru had asked when he said "Team, assemble." Zetsumei had a plan and didn't wish to speak as that would give away his position. So instead he used mist waltz technique to blow a combustible mist onto the battle field. Zetsumei then shouted "Get out of there its gonna blow!" With that another different colored mist filled the area. Akimaru had seen this trick before.

Now no one in there could see, they could only guess peoples positions. With basically giving away his position Zetsumei moved roughly ninety degrees anti-clockwise. Zetsumei knew this was a good attack as no one would be in a fatal condition if they were to be hit by this combination. They would however be unable to move. With that thought going through his mind he clicked his teeth. At the instant he clicked his teeth one of the mists would ignite in a explosion and the other would also ignite and explode due to the fact that it was combustible.

Zetsumei hoped most of all Akimaru was out of there as he would be strongest physically and would be able to help carry the victims. Possibly his team members would still be in there but he could carry those as well if it came to it. Zetsumei was out of range of the attack and could just see the trees and campsite be blown to smithereens. There would be no trees left or any evidence that a campsite was ever there. The destruction would wipe all memory of anything that had happened there, except the crater that would be left by the explosion.

Zetsumei was feeling rather anxious as this mission was dragging on and he didn't like to wait. Zetsumei just wished to get home and relax within a few hours, sadly it seemed as if they would have to camp out at this rate. Zetsumei was rather happy though as the battle was thrilling to watch, until he got involved anyway because as soon as he did nothing could be seen. And once his jutsu was over at least one person would most likely be injured. Zetsumei had still not used his sharingan and was hoping he didn't have to as that would drain him quite rapidly.

Zetsumeis plan didn't quite work the way he wished, but hey when does a plan ever work on a shinobi battle field. Zetsumei was feeling rather sick. As there would be a lot of blood after the explosion and he could imagine carrying the alive bloody bodies back into konoha to be healed and then thrown into jail. This would cause him to have a lot of blood on his clothes. Zetsumei wasn't really bothered to deal with all this at this point as he was feeling rather lazy and couldn't be bothered to do anything; sadly for him he had to say on guard for anyone could come bursting through the explosion and attack him.

Everything happened in such a flash to Sakura and the others. All of a sudden the battlefield was covered in mist and ash. Thinking incredibly fast, Tomoko leaped and grabbed onto Sakura, and they both bodyflickered to were the Ash was coming from. However, scanning the area, they saw a spark that would ignite the ash and mist. Bodyflickering, the two arrived near the ninja. Tomoko grabbed him, wrapping her arms around his chest and holding on with a deathgrip. Sakura, in the trees, was already making handseals, and on the final handseal, she shouted, "DESTRUCTION DRAGON, FIERCE TIGER!!!!" and at the same time redirected the birds that had failed at hitting the wolf. As the birds would hit the man anchored to the ground by Tomoko who's grip would take too much time to break for him to move, he would be overcome by chills that would rattle his body. And as he stood there, frozen, unable to move, the gigantic tiger that formed from the water all over the ground and in the air would strike him, killing him almost instantly. As the tiger formed, the water in the air froze, turning it to hail. It charged forward at the back of the uchiha no doubt freezing his ass off, unable to move. The dragon in such close range would tear the uchiha apart, destroying him past recognition. After accomplishing the feat though, Sakura would be too drained of chakra to continue to keep him in tact, and would collapse to the ground. The Dragon would arc downwards, and would kill both the Uchiha and Tomoko, if it hit, and frankly there was no way it couldn't hit.

Meanwhile, Nia and Kani heard the assailant proclaim that the mist and ash was explosive. the two of them ran towards the edge of the mist, but were unable to make it. They were mid jump as it exploded, and were catapulted out, covered in horrible burns. They landed on the ground and rolled, in extreme agony and unable to move. The two passed out from the pain.

His target moved back, dodging his attack. In an effort to conserve his chakra, he canceled his lightning jutsu. He growled as he dropped to all fours to charge the girl. He prepared his muscles to leap, staring at his target. He almost began his charge, planning to take out the legs, when he heard his teammate's voice say, "Get out of there, it's gonna blow!" At that time, he noticed the jutsu that his ally created. He hesitated and looked at the other genin that was underground, except for his head. Fang was unsure if the jutsu was going to create and explosion or a fire, but he knew that if it was the explosion option and he retreated, the genin would die. So this may be the end of me.... He didn't even notice that the enemy had left to attack Klown. He didn't think about what he was about to do, he just did it, for better or worse. He charged at the human. His lips curled back in a growl like facial expression, pushing his muscles to beat the jutsu. He had never run faster. He had never needed to run this fast. He refused to die in vain. He reached the genin, hugging his head. Seconds later, the jutsu was activated. His back took the full force of the jutsu as he dug the genin into his belly and chest hair, hugging with all his might through the great amount of pain. His hands hugged his ears and his arms protected the part of his face that wasn't buried into the mud. The jutsu ended and he removed himself from the genin's head. He moved over, then fell face first into the mud. He assessed his injuries. His back was complete burnt, all the hair gone, as was his tail and most of his legs and arms. His head was fine, but his arms had no hair. This was excluding the back of his hands thanks to his metal gloves, which were now charred. His front side was not burnt, meaning the genin was most likely fine. He looked at the kid he had saved. He looked fine. Fang smiled. He had saved the genin's life. He spoke, weakly through the pain. "Keep my body heat up or I will die. I want the wolf killer's swords. And you owe me, human. You owe me..." Fang passed out from the pain of being a french fry. If they did not keep his body heat up and get him to a hospital soon, he would undoubtedly die a silent death.

{Nia is the "wolf killer". The swords are the things she used to kill the summons. I'm not going to bother posting on any topic related to this, seeing as I will be passed out for the rest of it. Good luck guys and I will stay up to date on what is going on. Good match =] }

Akimaru watched in horror as the battle shifted on quickly. His hawk eyes took in every little detail, his mind was processing each person's moves and calculating strategies around them. For one of the first times in his life, Akimaru's brain began to hurt. He was just stood there calculating, he wasn't making any action to help his team at all. Gritting his teeth and tensing, Akimaru steeled his will. "C'mon!" he was thinking desperately in his mind. "Do something, c'mon!"

A girl's voice emittied through the air. "I'm afraid that's not an option!" Akimaru called back, but he doubted anyone heard what he was saying because his sentence was interrupted by an ear splitting roar and Zetsumei's familiar voice saying urgently; "Get out of there, it's gonna blow!" Akimaru didn't need to see the mist and ash to know what Zetsumei's next move was.

"But why?" Akimaru thought widly to himself. Zetsumei's justu was covering the entire area, the mist had enveloped Xerxes and the canine genin as well. It was lucky Akimaru realised this, because he didn't trust the two genin to get out there alive themselves. Running as fast as he could over to their last known location. Akimaru could just see the shadows of the canine-genin. He was hugging the head of another. Akimaru just hoped it was Xerxes. Knowing he could do no more, Akimaru hung his head in shame as he created the hand seals for Doryū Jōheki.

Akimaru didn't even get the usual feel over elation as the earth hill rose rapidly beneath his feat, escorting him high above the succeeding explosion. Akimaru watched as figures jumped through the air. He could barely see through the smoke, but he saw that Xerxes and the canine-genin weren't in the full blast. He didn't really care about Zetsumei, seeing as this was his fault. The lead genin and young girl had disappeared, probably underground. He saw the other two genin unconcious on the floor, with burns visible from where even Akimaru was standing.

As the smoke settled Akimaru dived gracefully at about 70ft to the ground. He would've enjoyed it, but in his current state--. He landed next to the canine-genin and Xerxes, just in time to hear the canine-genin say "Keep my body heat up or I will die. I want the wolf killer's swords. And you owe me, human. You owe me..." Akimaru knelt down beside him and said "You're not going to die. I won't allow it. I don't know medical jutsu and I don't want to risk making things worse, so I'm going to get you back to the village as quickly as possible." Akimaru almost disregarded Xerxes, until he said "You too, Xerxes."

Akimaru ran over to the other two girls, passed out on the floor from pain. The mission require the four troublemakers to stop causing trouble for the Waterfall Country. By returning two of the injured kids to Konoha, Akimaru hoped that would count for a mission success. He felt terrible for thinking about the mission's success during people's life in danger, but he couldn't forget he was still a ninja. Taking two runs, first picking up the smaller girl's unconcious body and placing it next to the canine-genin and Xerxes, Akimaru went back for the other girl. Akimaru noticed the other girl's swords not far away from her body, which had been multilated horribly by her friends jutsu. Remembering the canine-genin's wish, he picked those up on a third visit.

After looking through the battlefield, Akimaru noticed the other two opponents were not underground at all. The leader girl had also passed out, by the looks of her from over-exertion of chakra. The final girl, the leader. She seemed to be awake still. She layed tired on the floor. Now Akimaru was in trouble. All 3 opponents were knocked out, and one had been killed by her friend's jutsu, but for how long would this nightmare last? How would Akimaru get all 3 of them, and his comrades back to the village? Xerxes could probably carry one, the canine-genin needed to be looked after and Akimaru had no intentions of finding Zetsumei, after what he had done.

Though Akimaru too, had wanted to succeed, he knew there was another way than just blowing the shit out of the battlefield, hurting your comrades in the process. Akimaru thought in his head, making up a strategy. After 2 minutes, it was fully formed. Akimaru looked at the girls head, placed his hands on the earth beside her and said "Doton no Jutsu!" the earth ripped out of placed in a teardrop position. Using his chakra, Akimaru made it float above his head.

With the cascade shaped earth with the unconcious girl obtain, Akimaru repeated the process, for each of the enemies. With 4 floating cascade shaped earth prisons floating in the air, Akimaru felt an enormous strain on his body to keep going, but knew he had to. He had brought the mutilated body of the girl, as proof of death. He said to Xerxes, who seemed unharmed. "Do what that genin said, bring him with me, do all you can to keep him warm. Give him some of your clothes or something." Knowing Xerxes would obey and not giving a shit where Zetsumei was, they set off back to Konoha, looking a very odd party indeed.

Often on the journey back did Akimaru have to rest, taking it in turns with Xerxes to care for the canine-genin and knock out the opponents if they re-awoke in the earth prison. As long as Akimaru was alive, the earth prisons remained under his will, even in his sleep. It was very hard, as it required a lot of chakra for four people. Well three people and one corpse. Towards the end of their journey, it began to smell. It was not until after a few days of such uncomfortable travelling, that Akimaru thought to merge the four prisons, which he did. It used a little less chakra to hold up, but every piece of energy helped him at the stage he was in. He was not up to standard at all.

After what felt like weeks, Konoha was in sight. As soon as they reached the gate, Akimaru called to the Chuunin guards, then collapsed at their feet, the last thing he heard was the prisons smashing. They would take care of it all.

Crap! He thought to himself. The combination of the jutsu used would cause an impact that would deal great damage. He closed his eyes tightly and all he could think of was I'm going to die... His life flashed before him from birth now at a fast pace and he readied himself for death. Suddenly, he felt something, or someone cling them self to his head. He opened his eyes, and all he saw was hair. Doggy. After the explosion was over, Xerxes felt like it never happened. But doggy was injured. Badly. "You... You didn't have to do that..." He whispered, so low that he could barley hear himself. His last statement before he fell unconscious was true. Xerxes did owe him. He owed him his life.

After awhile of thinking of how he was going to pay back his 'debt' to doggy, Akimaru gave him orders to keep the fellow genin warm. In doing so, he removed his own shirt at placed it on the other genin. The chilling wind and rain of the village sent chills down his spine, but he didn't care. All that mattered was getting the mission over with, and to bring doggy to the hospital to be healed of his wounds. Break and Akimaru switched between holding the captives and doggy all the way there. After a few days, they approached the gate and Xerxes sighed in relief. He had brought back the fellow genin and all four criminals. Of course, they lost a teammate in the process, but he was the one to cause this to one of the other teammates.

Akimaru called over the guards then they took the target ninja. Break carefully let down doggy, and wrapped his arms around his body, keeping him close and warm. The next thing Break knew, he was out like a light. The teammates fur, or at least what remained of it, was like a pillow to him. A pillow, that had saved his life.

Zetsumei had activated the sharingan for he knew an attack could come from the ground and he was unsure if everyone had avoided the attack. As such he waited there standing and eagerly looking and waiting for the people lying on the floor after the attack. After the smoke had cleared he saw Akimaru pick up two bodies which was good as it meant that at least two were down. He did not communicate for if there was something targeting him Akimaru might also get targeted.

Suddenly, A girl came at Zetsumei to grab him. He used replacement jutsu to be replaced by one of the logs in the campsite. Zetsumei now saw one of the girls ripped to shreds several birds that were aimed at Zetsumei. Sadly for him he still had that girl to deal with who was making handsigns. A giant tiger appeared in front of him which caused him to panic, however he decided to shunshin again just before it hit him so the tiger would hit the tree. He saw as the girl collapsed from exhaustion by the looks of it.

Zetsumei was really tired by this point and could barely run. He saw Akimaru go and pick up the bodies. Akimaru probably didn't notice him and as such Zetsumei just decided to follow him. Zetsumei didn't say a word as it was best not to plus he had to keep what energy he had left. He was rather injured and was really cold for some reason. He walked with Akimaru til he got to Xerxes and the wolf child.

Zetsumei saw the capsule with three bodies on and Xerxes holding the wolf child. Zetsumei took the wolf while channeling fire chakra through his veins to keep him warm. He knew Xerxes knew he was warming the wolf up and Zetsumei quickly lied down on the capsule touching Akimaru in the process who would feel the heat from Zetsumei and know what he was doing. Zetsumei now just waited.

Zetsumei was sorry for what he had done and was feeling guilty as if the wolf died he would feel anger beyond anything and would surely leave the village to punish himself and go on a rampage for the rest of his life. Zetsumei then decided to think he wouldn't die and just took him back to konoha to be healed by the medical ninja and a week of bed rest most likely. The group was now back at konoha, and Zetsumei would again need bed rest.

you can't stack techniques, you'd have to choose one between Transformation, Clone, and Replacement.

Furthermore, Transformation can turn you into nothing smaller than half your size

FURTHERMORE! You ENTIRELY avoided the 7 ice birds who were after you then, and would've followed you, even in cricket form, tearing your little pathetic insect body apart.

All in all, your post was extremely metagamed, your character wouldn't feasibly be expecting an attack, and wouldn't put up such paranoid precautions, even if he were. You're acting outside of character because you do not wish to die, as it will hurt your pride. Frankly, you don't deserve another chance at an Edit, but I suppose I'll have to give you one, just make it quick, and don't include any dialogue with the other characters, you can talk with them when( and more prominently IF)you get back to konoha, after you explain your failure at capturing 4 little girls.

You didn't replace yourself with anything.

You were physically grabbed, Replacement has to occur before you're attacked.

The cold cannot be countered by fire chakra, it's a genjutsu

The birds would've hit you at the same time as Tomoko grabbing you.))

The birds would still follow you, they wouldn't rip through Tomoko.
