OffRPG mission: Get that crystal! (Wind vs Blaize, spar #1)

Saya sighs a little at the appearance of more jutsu. As the air bullet flies well over head the ninja girl calls on her mount. In one fluid motion Saya hops onto her dinosaurs back, and grips the harnass with her left hand. She gives the harnass a tug to push Kusamaru into action, and just in time. Two tornadoes appear and form together; making for what could have been an effective attack if aimed at her. She’d long since leapt from the cloud of smoke before she had even begun to attack, so she wouldn’t be found in the poof lingering near the door. Instead, Kusamaru’s speed is used to put some distance between herself and the blast zone.

The tornado was easy enough to avoid on its own, a squeeze of her strong thighs and tug from her hand sending kusamaru running to take cover behind the building. Two could play at the hiding game. Saya removes herself and her summon from sight by racing around the corner and hiding on the other side of the large stone temple. The impact of the following air bullet completely destroys most of the roof, crumbling the stone and wooden beams down upon the seating and altars below. If he wanted to charge into the temple, he was welcome. The hidden away entry to the underground laboratory was well disguised and would take some time to locate. Time he wouldn’t have, as it turned out. This back up plan was a desperation move, but the shinobi underground would be fine. Surely there was an earth attuned ninja down there somewhere.

Safely on the other side of the building, Saya fishes another pair of explosive tags out of her ninja pouch. He attaches both to the wall of the temple before charging off. She follows the wall around the corner once more, now putting herself on the complete opposite side of the temple she’d been guarding. Another pair of explosive tags was pulled out and sealed to the wall of the doomed structure. Only one side of the temple now didn’t have explosive rigged to fully destroy the supports of the stone walls. When triggered, her hidden away tags would bring the walls fully down, and level the building. The secret entrance then would be hidden beneath a great pile of debris, and back up would arrive before the chuunin could get through it all. Her mission still had a chance.

Spear hand she quickly dashed away from the stone wall of the temple. She puts some space between the building and herself, and calls Kusamaru over. “Kusamaru!” She shouts, both summoning and creature, and blatantly exposing her position on the battlefield. Her speedy escape around the corner had no doubt removed her from sight for a moment, unless the ninja in the trees could somehow see through stone. She hops back onto the raptor’s back, the spear still gripped tightly in her right hand alone. Atop her beast, it’s mobility and her long reaching spear worked perfectly together. A sword would be lacking in reach, compared to the graceful body of her mount, and her skilled shojutsu. The dinosaur begins to trot slowly, making it’s way over to the only side of the building lacking explosives, but remaining out in the clearing, and away from the temple itself.

"Heh....Mission check"

He thought to himself as he then gripped his katana in hand. He knew he knew that she was near by. The sounds of the footsteps from her dino and herself gave away her position. He wanted to make sure the mission was going to work and work it shall. But now was the time to play her game. The close range game. Even though this might not be the best situation it was the only situation he could be sure his plan was going on. He then spoken to his summoning.

"Alright It seems that the action will take place now the climatic part of this fight if she wants one she will get one. Im going to need to make this quick because the whole time here was just a waste. Though i did bring her to focus on me more quickly. Also my chakra is cut in half from the whole running around so we need to make sure plans go smoothly understand? Now were going to plan 'spikes' are you okay with that we are going to use the two nearest tress. Ready."

He subsided back the original scroll he had and placed it back on his jacket as he took out two scrolls as he unloosed a part of them and then lifted both up to the summoning. The summoning then took both of the scrolls as it was given two shurukens as well. It then glided down to the nearest tree, planting there trapp as he then rushed back to his side. During this point her plan of action should of taken place. He knew she was getting restless and so this was going to be it.

"Alright plan is done lets go."

As he spoken he rushed from his spot to her area. He knew the roof took some damage and he also knew that she was planning something but he did not know exactly what. He wanted to make sure that he was not in range from her smoke she had before. If she had planned something it would have to be in that general area. Instead he stood a few meters away from it and started to run to the sound of the vibrations till he was at the same side she was now. Both of them now visible to each other and in range of another. Blaize looked at her and her summoning as Blaize and his summoning was close in hand except is summoning jumped to the ground closing its eyes as it spoken
"OKay then it seems the battle for both of you was now in hand. You want to protect whats yours but we can not allow that we have our own reason for that. Now both of you will be taken down understand."

As he said that he opening his eyes and thought.

"There is no sense of another presence here. So if she had someone else around her i would have sensed it. Guess this is going to be one on one. But this Dino she has on her. He is able to spit acid and has incredible speed and high power jumps. The Worst case senario for me. Heh im just a messenger summoning fighting a fighters fight."

He then jumped onto Blaize's shoulder and looked at the summoning and then jumped to the nearest tree branch and spoken out.

"Come now stupid dino come get me!"

It jumped once more higher to the trees as it spreads its wings so it can glide to the tree tops as it is taking shelter within trees. While Blaize and His summoning now awaits responses from their opponents.

Saya laughs softly, the sound muffled once more behind her mask. “You have your orders, and I have mine. Mine are much easier to accomplish than yours, so I am afraid you are about to be very disappointed.” She mutters as she slowly draws one hand up infront of her. She makes a single tiger seal and nods her head, focusing her chakra into the numerous explosive tags she’d positioned on the supports of the temple.

A moment later a series of large explosions fills the area and rocks the temple, shaking it down to it’s foundation and causing the earth around them to tremble. The shockwave from the blast tears out in all directions, shaking leaves from the trees closes to the temple, and all but destroying the large stone building. The stone walls topple in on themselves, the entire building, except one wall, caving in and littering the temple with tons of debris. Getting to the secret hatch now would be next to impossible, though it also trapped some of her friends in the underground temple.

“Your mission is a failure.” She says as the noise dies down, and the dust and smoke begin to settle. Indeed, getting into the temple now would be next to impossible. It would take hours of work to clear the doorway leading to the laboratory, and she knew Blaize didn’t have quite that much time. Only the one wall remained standing, though even it was cracked and crumbling from the force of the blast. “You should never underestimate Kirigakure. Even one genin is enough to deal with a weak squad like yours. If you are going to call for back up, you may do as much right now. Once the blades start flying, you won’t live much longer.”

Saya remains on top of her mount, counting on it’s mobility for now. The sneaky little lizard could be a problem. She reaches out with one arm and points her spear at Blaize, the razor sharp edge glistening in the mottled sunlight. “Prepare yourself now, for the battle ends here!” she shouts and drives her feet into Kusamaru’s side. The dinosaur instantly springs into action and rushes forward. The assault may seem like a direct one, but as they got closer that wouldn’t be the case. A leap was planned for the moment before she arrived, this feint just used to test his defenses. Well on her way, and seeming ready to lance her spear right through him, she waits to see what sort of defense he employs against her.

"What is she trying to pull here"

He said as he raised her hand up and did a hand seal. He held his katana in his hand as he got ready. Then a boom sound happened from behind her and then the sound of crumbles were starting to become louder as well as smoke and debris from this attack. He looked at the eruption over head as the temple he was trying to invade was crumbling down. He thought about the work he had done just to make those marks now leading them to fall on the ground leaving the wall she had behind her up in tact. Something must be special about that door. Or at least she wanted to use it as a defense. She knew better then to trap her comrades under the temple they will kill them and destroy the crystal they had a hard time to obtain. So what was her game. The only way that the plan would have worked if they left the area. But it couldn't be it because his team would have already noticed with the sencer on his team but there was no movement. So they had to be roughly in the same spot. So whatever she protecting next to her door is what keeping them from finding them. Is it a key to somewhere, are they hidden within that stone that still risen, are they underground. Whatever the case he knew he had to find it at the same time that he was going to be attacked

Back to the lizard trying to temp the dino it seemed the girl was not having it. It seemed she wanted all the power she could have in her disposal into killing or defeating Blaize. But as he looked on he to could tell that the trap will not go as smoothly as it will. He then noticed that the change of the battle field. The two of them were trying to get the entrance for the team inside with the whole. But this was just a blessing in disguise. He then thought to himself about the whole situation about this.
"Alright well then plan worked and worked for her as well. That must of been the reason why she had a smoke bomb. At least we know the reason. I hope Blaize knows this as well. She only left one area open to so this had to be something important but the data that we have is not enough. The ground behind her has something there that she is trying to hide from him. If the Dino does not want to go ahead and catch me then i guess that i will have to check the wreck and form a plan. I hope blaize can distract the two of them."
As he said that he extended his arms to form his wings and then jumped to the direction of the Reck. Gliding from the sky towards the debris to find out what exactly she was trying to hide.

In that Time Blaize was Listening to her speech. How he should get his reinforcements to take her down. He started at both of them as he knew that something must of be done in order to take them down. He then gripped his katana hearing her speaking how her village is better then his. He looked only to find her charging towards him. She had a spear that was longer then his Katana so it would have been like a javelin contest. He held his katana at the ready to his right side as he made his way towards her. As that h append he noticed her dino took a jump from her position he in turn moved forward keeping his eyes on her weapon as he then planted his right foot on the ground and looked up at her as he bit the item he held in his mouth and spit it out from his mouth and get it towards her head/chest section of her armor then used that to jump to his left side pushing his right foot out as he extended his left hand out and then flames escaped his hands as he aimed it for the same spot as well. when that happened and the flames contact the item he spit out the item will burst into a combustion ember and in close range it would hopefully take her off her dino and add to the burnt damages both her and her dino has taken while the jump he took was to make sure he was not to close to her. He lands at his spot looking at her and her reaction. He did not waist much time as he continued on to move to his object entrance. When he ran he used the chakra that engulfed his feet to his hands as the only parts of his body that was engulfed in his flames that has not been seen yet are now his two arms. The power he had on his legs were not lit anymore until he reused his kkg.

Now was the time to show how dangerous Saya truly was. As the dinosaur leaps skywards they would easily soar over Blaize’s head, leaving him well beneath them. She knew full and well that being airborne left one exposed and lacking any choices of dodging, but she also knew well how to block an attack. The moment they leap, she releases her grip on the dinosaur’s harness and lets her left hand vanish under her cloak. The heavy armor is slung off of her shoulders and dropped beneath her, letting its bulk and weight fall towards Blaize beneath her. The flowing metal and leather would block the incoming ember, not that a little match head would have dealt her much damage anyway.

Saya herself leaps upwards as Kusamaru reaches the top of his jump, leaping another ten or fifteen feet upwards as she twists around. Midair, mid-twist, she releases her spear as well, sending the sharpened pole flying towards Blaize. As he casts his jutsu, she hopes he’ll have a hard time dodging.. and as she sees the uncoming flames.. well. She resigns herself to take the hit, knowing there’s little she can do to avoid it. While the flames cover her cloak and singe her dinosaur friend, the bulk of the fire was aimed at her, and would soon fully engulf her.

Fair is fair, and taking a blow is pointless if the action isn’t used to launch an attack of her own. She reaches behind her, seeking the holster at her hip and drawing off two throwing axes. She throws them downwards quickly, letting them track down through the flames towards Blaize. The spear, the two axes, both flew quickly, with dead eye accuracy, evidence of her talent with ranged weapons, as much as she’s skilled with weapons specialized for more up close and personal assault. She’d loved to have watched the axes follow the full path down to the flame spouting shinobi beneath her, but that wasn’t going to be possible.

The world turns into a flickering display of yellows, reds, and oranges as the flames flow around her falling form, but still don’t disrupt her landing. She lands hard on the ground some twenty feet behind where Blaize had been previously standing, but still wasn’t down. Her skin was blackened and burnt, her hair singed and her clothing in tatters, still smoldering from the flames she’d fallen through.. but to look at her you’d think she was unharmed. She rises to her feet quickly, drawing her katana as she does and turning on Blaize. She levels the sword out in front of her while quickly gauging his wounds, then lunges forward to slash at him, hoping to end this fight soon. Saya was getting low on Chakra, after all this.

The next few second lasted longer then the match had let it be. When his flame attack combo hit the ember was starting to become deflected with her armor. Either way he jumped back from creating the ember combo that when she left her armor or whatever part that was on her body fall to the ground. Though she was still on top. As he looked up at he saw her jumped from her Dino into the air. He thought quickly two scenarios.

"She is gaining height? What is she doing? What do i go for, her or the Dino. I am able to get them. darn it."

When the flames erupted at her engulfing her body the action she did before that was throwing her spear like weapon at him. The spear was also able to go on for distance as well. But this was just a one direction attack. he wanted to know her plan on why she did this but he did not have much time. He raised his katana and then motioned his katana ready to deflect the spear and then swiftly move onto the next attack. As he got ready and the flames engulfing her He saw something pop out of the fire two axes. This was not good. The spear has to be heavy enough for Blaize to make quick deflects of the object and it was too late to make a jutsu to deflect all of the incoming attacks. He had no choice but this one.
He used his katana and then matched it with her spear then motioned it to the right for it to be deflected but the Axes was now at his direction. He only had one situation he could use.
"Kai"
The Kai was just to let the flames he used for his sword and into the direction of his right shoulder as it went up in the air to deflect the incoming attack as the left axe sinked itself to his left arm. He had a large wince covering his left eye as he let his arm reach up trying to get it out.

As he got himself in distance he reached up as he pulled out the axe out his body as he examined the axe quickly then back to his opponent. He looked at her and then saw her getting up as soon as the flames were out. This must of done something to here even if she had her armor with her. The fact that the dino was not as harmed as she was gave him a slight concern But thinking back the Dino took some hard damage and all the time chasing and running will have to run out. Thinking one more great attack will send the Dino back but Now the two were separated so the time for a combo attack from both of them will come soon. Which one will he have to chose is going to be a close one. It has to depend when the time comes. In the mean time he tosses away the axe as he formulates a new plan of action.

Meanwhile back at the debris side of the temple his summon has already landed to the mark. As he was checking the debris to find what exactly the purpose of taking this temple out. He started to take some rock and some debris out till he could clear out a small area to land on its earth. As he was doing so he was thinking.
"okay now something must be here. there was no reason why the girl there has to destroy this temple. If she hasn't the two of them did not have to go into straight combat. But this could have been worse. He could have been inside of it and it would have been hard to escape. Arghh darn these debris. Aha i got a smooth place to step."
As he said that he took his body and hands and placed it on the ground as he felt the earth. There was the female that was next to the standing part of the temple, the Dino, and his partner. There was another presence. Deep down on the ground, movement, no movements on the ground. From Below. But this was wrong no one was on the surface besides the four of them. So could this mean that the people were hidden underground? it is a strong possibility. And the area that he landed on had the footsteps so this area must have a tunnel system or something. But because none of the people underground seemed to be on its steps the entrance was going to be hard with all this debris unless he took it all out. SO this was clear. As he thought of his plan he decided to jump up and glide to the nearest tree as he did so he started to climb it to obtain elevation. As high as he could he could see the battlefield. Both of the enemy was looking directly at Blaize as Blaize seemed to have a weapon stuck to himself. but he seemed to pulled it out. The lizard knew what his objective was. As he did he glided back down to the area of the debris and then performed his tornado jutsu. Sending two mini tornados to that direction were it would pick up the debris or really push it away from its area clearing the area out. as this happened the two tornado formed together to create a larger one sending most of the derbies out. As he was gliding her looked and examined the ground to find something different then the others. It was something dark brown like a wooden door with a hoop lock around it as he smiled and knew that he found the entrance to the hidden area. As the tornado Stopped and landed he knew that he had found his way in as he exclaimed.

"MISSION COMPLETE THE TARGET HAS BEEN FOUND!"

As the voice left threw the ears of both enemy and him Blaize looked at the enemy hearing his summonings voice saying he had found it.
"SO that was the wind that just appeared was it to clear out the area? He must have senced something were i was not able to sence. Alright this is good then. Now that i found it the only thing keeping this safe is to catch the two in one sweep now how am i to do that?"
But it seemed his opponent was already on her move charging herself at him. He held his katana close at hand as he prepared for her katana. he used his fire chakra that was in his right hand to mix in with the katana re creating the fire sword. From his KKG use he has only his left hand with fire chakra and he knows himself he needs to use his kkg Again soon if he still wants the fire in his hands and feet. He held his katana at Both hands as his left arm was wounded a bit as he clashed swords with her. This time this was as the swords clash they stood together as he looked into her eyes as he finally spoken to her.

"You think you can win? that one shinobi is enough. I did not want to take you down i only wanted to do what i had to do but you keep on even with yourself and your summoning burning with almost every type of degree burns. I am going to have to finish this soon.."
he moved his katana forward with force moving her back a few feet as he then performed a few hand hands then extending his hands out as flames were exerting from his hand surrounding her in a circular like fashion. This tech is like the Mist Village's use of the Water Prision jutsu but this one is a fire version. The Pyro Prision jutsu. When this will surround her this will cut off the inside oxygen supply cutting off her breathing circulation. This performance is good for a one on one battle but her dino was still near and looking at him as he knew that the dino will save her. The Dino is the only last obstacle he has to face. Hoping he could hold him off long enough to make the female pass out due to low oxygen. He felt pain though his body as sweat was dripping down his hair tipes as he looked to them both. The jutsu that he used would last only about one turn but the turn itself should be enough for his final plan to work. He thought to himself as he gotten out an item from his pouch and held it closely.
"Heh, all this work and carefulness for this shinobi and her summoning. All for the crystal. She destroyed my plans in one motion of explosion. Who would have thought that the temple she wanted to protect will crumble down and hid beneath it all. Well the finaly will come"

Saya pauses as the tornadoes kick up in the broken temple, moving aside the rubble she'd used as a lock. That certainly wouldn't do. She breaks off her idea of charging head on into battle, and instead takes a few steps back. She motions her katana at the last standing wall, and utters a single word. "Kusamaru." she says, quiet and calm.

The dinosaur she'd been riding only moments before landed much further away than Saya herself had, giving a good amount of distance between itself and the both the shinobi and the temple. The dinosaur turns and stomps its foot, getting a good grip on the ground while breathing in a large lungful of air. Just as quickly the dinosaur releases it, blowing out another air bullet to send flying past Saya. It wasn't aimed at Blaize, though he might have expected it wouldn't be. No, the dense ball of air spirals forward quickly, aiming towards the fractured and weakened portion of wall still standing. It had been left there for a reason, after all.

Behind her mask, Saya smiles. For being alone, and out ranked, she'd been doing pretty well this fight. The burns and bruises would be worn like a great warriors honorable battle scars, only fading once a good medic could get their hands on her. When the air bullet strikes the wall, it explodes with a huge impact, shattering the stone slab and sending even more debris to rain down and clutter up the insides of the only recently cleared out temple. If she was lucky, she might even be able to crush his lizard summon amongst all the new falling stone.

As the stones fall, a circle of flames surround her, the smoke and cinders assaulting her. With her mask still on, however, this would be little problem. The air filter behind her mask would easily choke out the smoke and embers, though as the oxygen began to be depleted, that would be a different story all together. For now, though, she still had air to breath. "I told you your mission is a failure. You can not win here, not against me. Not against Kirigakure. I will give you this last chance to lay down your arms, and surrender. If you continue to refuse,and insist on fighting. I am afraid the outcome will not be viewed favorably by yourself, or your lizard friend. You will both surely die. You must be low on chakra, and beneath the surface we stand on is a powerful jounin. If you are able to get past me.. you will not get past him. The choice is yours." she says, wasting some breath as she does. She notes the quickly fading air, and contemplates the simplest way out. Surely Kusamaru could leap over these flames, and she'd need only call him.

Surprisingly, Saya still keeps a bit of distance from Blaize. It was odd that he carried a blade, yet never seemed to rush into combat. No doubt, there was some reason he wished her to charge over there. Even the jutsu he used now didn't force her to flee, or to dodge, it would only force her to leave her current location. Such a tame jutsu could only be evidence that there was something else in the works here. Due to this, she remains where she is, and on the defensive. Pretty soon she'd call on her summon, and retire from this fight. Other shinobi are certain to notice so much disturbance in the woods, and come to finish this fight for her.

"You Dont get it do you Shinobi?"
He said looking at her as he got her on jutsu. Before he could finish his sentence he saw the rock crumbling down from her new to last temple. It seemed that this was her trump card. She wanted to have him there to capture him in a new wall of stones. But this time it was his summoning that was ready to hit down on the last stone wall.
"So that was her plan."
He said as he saw something come out from the debris it was a fire, a large spiral fire rising in the air. It was his summoning, using one of the bombs he gave to him earlier. He smiled as he knew that it will be of use. He looked at her and her dino as he knows his chakra was quickly depleting. He smiled at her as he then looked at her ready for his last couple of thoughts.

"Alright now that i have everything set up im ready to call in backup."
The lizard has spoken to himself as he gotten out the circular object that Blaize has given him earlier in the match. he looked at the object as something unexpecting happend. There was a blast it was the final wall that was standing granting itself to break into pieces. His eyes widen as he was surprised.
"The hell just going on here! Damn it did i just fall into this stupid trap. Ohh No im not going to let you get me off no!!"
He said as he saw the derbies coming down. He took his object and threw it on the ground in front of him as the bomb exploded to a spiral of flames that has grown itself into the air. The flames protected the lizard for taking out the derbies coming his way as well as it serving its initial purpose. And that was to signal the backup for them to come. There he hoped that the initial response will come soon.

Back to Blaize and her. Blaize looked at her covering herself into that armor. He looked at her and coughed at he was panting but ready to speak.
"you said you were better, and that one unranked that was able to take me down. Heh your wondering why i keep a katana out and not used the katana for attack. Ill tell you. This mission was to scout and locate the crystal. Obtaining the Crystal was second priority. Confused? Let me explain. You see all this time was to drag out the match to oserve your team's attempt to handle the crystal and to see how it effects your team with trail and error. We are Basically collecting Data that you have obtained. For example how many Ninja's are needed. How large the chakra can be handled by a shinobi. How much can a shinobi handle to transfer its powers. Questions to seak and learn about the Crystals is what we came for. And this match was just for distraction. It seemed we have completed our mission. Our sensor and my allies has recorded everything that we have needed in this time span. And the flame over there is just letting them know were the location is. and this."
He said raising a ball and throwing it on the ground as he then threw the bomb on the ground as another flame spiral rose up to the air.
"This is to signal them as well to get me because...."
He said as the flame prison was breaking and released itself.
"Because ive run out of chakra.....Heh......Was it not fun? an ace in the hole is very exceptional but a Joker is just unpredictable..."
As he said that he started to fall as a shinobi came and brought him under his arms then looked at her and jumped in the air and dissapere from its position as the other side now had the lizard and more falling derbies as the flames stopped two large peices fall and were broken by exploding kunai-tags. and two shinobi land and one picked up the lizard and the other has located its wooden door. and used a paper bomb to explode the wooden door as they sent an array of smoke bombs,grenades, and exploding kunai down at the entrance. the whole point was not to get the crystal in its physical form but to get knowledge of the crystal as the third shinobi landed next to the two shinobi and was carring Blaize. They all looked at her and then flickered themselves away. The crystal was safe for her village but as for her teammates from below, it depends on the surviors that handeled the bombs and explosives. It seemed that the shinobi of the sand was not going to take the village's crystal today but instead to learn how to harness the power as the village has been trying to learn the whole match.

MIssion compromise.
