Appearance: Yomi is of rather average height for her age, standing around 5'3" tall and weighing an average 108 pounds. She holds many of the common traits and characteristics of those who are born into the Hyuuga clan. She has long black hair that runs down the length of her back, an uncommon trait for a fighter, pale skin, and the typical white eyes of a Hyuuga, which bare the powerful Byakugan. Her attire is typical in color to that of the Hyuuga clan, consisting of white and grayish purple , loose fitting clothing. Though the style of the clothes themselves are a tad different then that of standard issue, Yomi prefers her once-piece dress and undershirt, whist wearing a long sleeve that covers her arms down to her wrists, all of which bare the Hyuuga Clan's symbol. She also wears grayish purple fighting gloves, an extremely uncommon piece of attire for a member of the Hyuuga clan to wear,due to their fighting style. Yomi has accustomed herself to fighting this way though, to accommodate to her own unique fighting style, as well as her practice within the Gentle Fist Style. The same goes for her shoes, which are custom made to accommodate her unique style of fighting in both comfort and protection, unlike the standard issue shinobi sandals.
During more formal occasions, or training, Yomi's attire changes from her one-piece dress to either a fine silk kimono, as accustomed that of noble blood and houses, or typical black and white, two piece training shirt and pants. In place of her headband, she covers her Juin Jutsu seal with a violet silk headband, for formal occasions, or bandages whilst training. Aside from that, Yomi can usually be seen in her normal attire, as it is what she prefers overall. No matter what the occasion, Yomi is never seen wearing any form of make-up or accessories. This is because it is just not within her style to wear such things and she believes that her natural beauty would just be tainted by doing so. However, Yomi is seen while on formal business, to wear her long silk hair in various styles, usually tied up in updo style with descending hair, buns, or curls. For other occasions she is usually seen with just her hair worn straight or in a pony tail.
Forehead Protector: Yomi wears her forehead protect in the standard place, her forehead. She does this for a number of reasons, mainly to hide her Juin Jutsu seal, though it provides protection for her forehead and keeps her bangs out of her eyes.
Personality: Complex, a word often used to describe the human being and a good amount of it comes from our personalities. Yomi is just that, complex. Her feelings and emotions, though often under wraps, swirl inside her like a tempest. Proud, caring, respectful, formal, solemn, intellectual, doubtful, conflicted, these feelings are just the tip of what can be used to describe this young heiress to the Hyuuga clan.
Pride: As common within the Hyuuga clan, Yomi is very proud. She tries only her hardest and never aims for second best, for fear of letting down her clansmen and adding more to the doubt she already bares. Being the heiress to the clan, Yomi acts very polite and strong, to represent the Hyuuga name with nothing less then brilliance. A lot of this comes from her role as the next heiress to the clan, though such an honor places overwhelming stress and feeds her doubts. Her strong pride also contributes to her strength, being a very smart girl, she is not afraid to take charge and lead her friends and comrades as best she can.
Doubt: Most of Yomi's doubt is founded upon the base that she is the next heiress to the Hyuuga clan. This would normally be burdensome for most, though for Yomi it holds so much extra weight to it, being that she was adopted into the main house from the branch house, under unfortunate circumstances. It is often easy to tell when Yomi is becoming overwhelmed by doubt, because when she fails or does poorly at anything, she becomes very morbid and pessimistic, and will go and sulk by herself.
Affection: Affection is something that is usually not seen much from Yomi, not so much that she isn't a happy person, but more along the lines that it is often misinterpreted, partly due to her usual solemn behavior. Yomi often expresses her affections with terms of respect over endearment. Usually offering more support, assistance, or praise is another way she'll express affection. There is also the occasional smile, though it is a rare sight. All things aside, Yomi is a rather pleasant girl, who likes to remain kind to others, in order to not be labeled as an elitist, like so many of noble blood become. There is one case however that Yomi shows a great deal of affection about, her younger sister Kamina. Even after the girl passed away, the bond Yomi shared with her never left. This is proven by the fact that Yomi often visits her sister's grave stone, where she will sit and talk as if she were talking to Kamina herself, telling her of all the new wonders and little updates that Yomi knows she would want to know about.
Intellectual: Yomi is a very bright girl for her age. She thinks things through carefully and its always eager to learn more. Being very level headed, she never rushes in to things and tries to remain as observant and open minded as possible. She is also very set on the idea of equality among people, despite their background, mind set, ability, or position. This comes from her originally being born into the branch house of the Hyuuga clan, which are segregated, despite them being of the same clan and blood. Motives and beliefs aside, Yomi is a very quick learner, picking up things through detailed observation and practice. Her problem solving skills are also rather sharp, as she pays very close attention to detail and can quickly come up with a solution.
Solemn: Solemn is probably one of the more abundant emotional states in which someone would use to describe Yomi. Despite her pride an natural leadership abilities, Yomi usually remains quiet until she is either spoken to, or needs to say something important or necessary. She is also usually very serious about things, which carries over greatly into her over emotions and behavior. It also explains as to why she acts in such ways when she fails to complete her goals, or fails to meet the rather high expectations that she sets for herself, on behalf of her background. None the less, it all shows how much Yomi cares about how other people view and think of her, which leaves no room for her to act silly or childish. This type of attitude and behavior took an even greater influence in Yomi after the death of Kamina, and being given the next in line to be the heir to the Hyuuga clan.
Temper: Yomi is not much of an ill manner girl. She can get a little worked up over claims and insults about her clan and abilities, or even the endangerment of her friends and comrades but even then she becomes far more defensive then angry. Though there is on thing that will always set her off and make her red in the face, and that is calling her Nise Sōzokujin, which means false heir, a name given to her by various elder members of the Hyuuga main branch. Though she keeps her temper when addressed by this name from the elders, anyone else who refers to her as this will quickly get their head bit off.

Description: The Gentle Fist (柔拳, Jūken) or Gentle Fist Style (柔拳法, Jūkenpō) is a form of hand-to-hand combat used by members of the Hyūga clan. It inflicts internal damage and disrupt the body's Chakra Pathway System so as to ultimately inhibit an opponent's use of chakra. To do this, the user surgically injects a small amount of their own chakra into an opponent's chakra pathway system. The infiltrating chakra can then be used to disrupt or divert chakra flow, preventing them from using jutsu.Targeting the Tenketsu can enhance the havoc and control a Jūken user can impose upon an opponent's chakra network. These special nodes, 361 in total, are key gate-keeping interceptions in the chakra circulatory network, thus forcibly opening or sealing them in whatever manner the Jūken-user sees fit is a powerful tactical option to have. Harming the chakra network in this way can directly damage internal organs due to their proximity to the chakra circulatory system. Even the slightest tap can cause severe internal damage, hence the name "gentle" fist.

Description: This is the base fighting style the Hyuuga learns at an early age, which emphasis the abilities of their Byakugan which allows them to see chakra networks. This is an advanced fighting style which is difficult to learn and requires much practice and dedication to master. This technique allows the user to passively seal a persons Tenki points upon physical contact, thus slowly depleting their chakra in the process. 3CP will be depleted with each successful attack from the user, no matter how minimal it is. Because the chakra network and human system are so aligned, while depleting a persons tenki points the user also causes severe internal pain upon the contacted area. Technique does not apply to jutsu.
Yomi Style: Yomi style is an unique style in which Yomi has put together by observation of other types of taijutsu she has seen. Though she usually uses the gentle fist style like most Hyuuga members, she understands that knowledge of other martial forms are important in becoming a taijutsu master. Being this she learns as much as she can from detailed observation and then practices on her own terms. The list of technique and fighting styles or even the ones she decides to train in are constantly growing. The majority of these techniques are typically much different then that of the gentle fist, as in they focus more on external damage instead of internal and are usually pretty head on. This comes from the ideal that some opponents just need a heavy hit to go down and the gentle fist style just won't provide it quickly enough. This unique style Yomi keeps secret from her fellow clansmen, in fear of what they will think poorly of her if they found out she was using other styles outside of the gentle fist.

THE BACKGROUND.
History:
Birth A new life begins within the Leaf Village, the life of a new born girl by the name of Yomi Hyuuga. Yomi was born of noble blood into the Leaf's powerful Hyuuga clan, though as fate has it, she was born into the branch family of the clan. This would normally mean that her fate would be undoubtedly sealed, however fate had a different path for this new born girl, a story which would unfold over the years into something truly unheard of. Now life for the newborn Hyuuga child would be that of any other normal infant, nothing very unusual. She learned to crawl by 8 months and was taking her first few steps by 10, a real milestone in an infants life. Sounds and words soon started to form afterwards, and by the age of three, she like everyone else in the branch family, received the cursed Juin Jutsu seal, which would forever brand her as a member of the branch family, a servant of the main house. Upon the same day that dreaded seal was placed on Yomi's head, another new life was born into the Hyuuga clan, this time of the main branch. This new life was that of a young girl by the name of Kamina, who would soon become the heiress of the clan. On this day, the day of Yomi's birth, the day her fate was sealed by the segregation of the two houses, the Hyuuga heiress was born, an event which would over shadow her forever.
Friends, and even sisters
A few years passed and soon enough, Yomi was at the nice young age of 5. She was walking, talking, learning, and growing stronger with each passing day.Kamina, the Hyuuga heiress, who would just have turned 2, would be doing the exact same. Upon Yomi's 6th birthday and Kamina's 3rd, it was decided that Yomi would be the one to look after the girl in the coming years, protecting her as those of the branch house do. Yomi was fine with this decision, as she had played with Kamina plenty over the years and had become quite fond of her, despite being the older and still having to live in Kamina's shadow. However the next few years in Yomi's life would take a turn for the worse, first by father dying while on a mission for the Leaf village and her mother soon after from a strange illness. It was on that day od her mother passing, that Yomi became an orphan. Being as Yomi was the daughter of the Hyuuga leader's brother, Kamina's father, she was immanently taken in as part of their family. Many of the other elders of the clan were against such an action but were over ruled in the end. On that day, a member of the branch house became an adopted member of the main house and Yomi got herself a sister.
Childhood and Change By the age of 9, Yomi and Kamina were beyond the idea of best friends. The two did everything they could together, aside from the ninja academy, which Kamina wouldn't attend for another year. Despite this, Yomi would just bring whatever she learned home with her and then teach it to Kamina, giving her a "heads up" for when she started. During this time, Kamina would also start training with Yomi in the clan dojo, learning the fighting styles of the Hyuuga clan. The two were both fast learners, and often enjoyed sparring against one another for fun, though Yomi being older and having a jump start on the training by a good few years, would always come out as the victor. Though none of it would ever change the fact that Yomi lived in Kamina's shadow. No matter how quickly Yomi climbed the latter and grew stronger, she would never be accepted like Kamina was. She was a member of the branch family after all, and would never be able over shadow the heiress of the clan. Despite this, Yomi was doing well. Due to her good grades and performance in the academy, she was scheduled to graduate early, though this chance passed her by when Kamina became very ill. Yomi, wanting to be at Kamina's side while she was ill, ended up missing her chance at graduating early. She didn't care though, all she was thinking about was Kamina's well being. Sadly, despite the medical efforts of the leaf shinobi, as well as the resources of the Hyuuga clan, Kamina was lost to the terrible illness and passed away. This loss devastated the Hyuuga clan, especially Yomi and her father, who on that day, had to bury a daughter, a sister, a friend. Soon after the funeral, the Hyuuga council had to decide a new heir to the clan. The leader nominated Yomi for the position, as she had become a daughter to him in the many years. The other elders objected, saying she was not born into the main branch and was not fit to lead the clan in the years to come, despite her strength and skills. However, after much debate and arguing, Yomi was deemed the new heiress to the clan.
Nise Sōzokujin When news reached Yomi that she would become the new heiress to the Hyuuga clan, it had became the talk of the family, as well as the village. Never before was a branch member placed in such a high position, especially within the main branch. It was big news for that of a noble house hold of the Leaf village. Yomi was extremely grateful of the decision and honored to be granted such an opportunity. She was even more pleased that she would no longer have to live in the shadow of someone else. She could finally be her own person, with a face and fate that went beyond that of the branch family. Though her background, though noble still, and her skills as impressive as they were, were still not enough for the other elders of the Hyuuga clan. They despised the idea of Yomi leading the clan on day. They thought it disgraceful and unacceptable, though there was nothing they could do about it in the end. So on that day, they decided to show their disapproval and dislike of the girl with a nickname, and on that day Yomi was given the title Nise Sōzokujin, or false heir.
Politics and Graduation It did not take long for Yomi to start being trained and taught the secrets of the Hyuuga clan's main branch. She had to learn so much that she was unable to go back to the academy as she wanted. Her schooling to become a shinobi was by no means as important as her role within the Hyuuga clan. A year passed and Yomi was not able to attend the academy again until she was nearly 11 years old. Though due to how much she had learned and grown, as well as everything she had learned prior at the academy, it did not take long for her to graduate the academy. Right before turning 12, Yomi would be given the rank of genin, along with her fellow classmates. However, Yomi would have to wait on starting her life as a genin, for she still had much more to learn when it came to her clan and future involvement. For the next two years, the young Hyuuga heiress would be tested, trained, and molded into the kind of representative that the main house required of her. It would not be until the fine young age of 14, that the young Yomi would be allowed to expand on her wishes of being a shinobi and represent the strength she provided to the Hyuuga clan and the Leaf.

The sound of music and laughter traveled through the room of the bar as filled up with life. Despite all the laughter and fun, one soul in the bar was not taking part in the joyous mood, a young women who was clearly disappointed with her night. The young women was sitting alone at the bar, her fingers running along the rim of her empty glass. With a wave of her hand she called over the bartender for another drink. The man did as she wished and poured her another drink and sent it down the bar. As it slide it would meet with an abrupt stop, as a man's hand quickly snatched up the glass. With a cheesy grin on his face he approached the women, obviously drunk from too many beers. His words were slurred as he spoke. "Heeey baaabiee, what'sss a prreetyy thing like youuu sitting here all alooone?" He stumbled slightly as he sat on the stool next to her, placing the glass in between them but not letting go of the glass. The women looked at him, clearly not amused with the interruption from the drunk. She spoke calmly, her words sharp with discontent and annoyance. "Well I was enjoying the pace of sitting here alone, until you so rudely interrupted me. Now do you think I could have my drink?" The drunken man laughed as he nodded and picked up the drink, attempting to hand it to her, but instead spilling it all over her. Outraged at the drunken fools actions she quickly rose from her seat. As she started to walk away the man grabbed her arm, trying to get her to stay. She turned angrily towards him and told him to release her. When the man refused she decided to give him a warning. "You have till the count of three to let me go, otherwise I'm going to make you regret it." The drunk laughed as her words processed through his thoughts, as impaired as he was. He thought, this women, this little pretty doll faced girl, was going to make him regret, make him wish he never made the mistake that he had made. He laughed, and with a dopey grin, he leaned in, his words slurred. "Go on giirrll, I'll be happy for you to make meeee regret. Heck, I'llll even count with youuu. Aaaaa ooonnnee." The womens eyes narrowed. "Aaaa twooooo." Her forward foot turned towards him, inching forward a bit. "Aaaaa...threee-" Before he finished the end of that last number, his groin met the discomfort of a swift knee, one which would cause the man to buckle over in pain. As his body arched forward, the women propelled her arm upward, she strengthened her arm, elbow bent and like a knife that would strike, and she brought that elbow down, like the wrath of god smiting a sinner, upon the upper vertebra of the drunkard. The force of the blow was so powerful, that his feet gave out beneath him. His chest hit flat against the ground, his legs rocketing out and knocking over the stools behind him. Upon the sound of his body hitting the floor, the echo that bone and flesh make as they impact into the ground, radiated throughout hat bar, and at that moment everything grew quiet. All the life that was in that bar just stopped and everyone watched, as that quiet young women, made that drunken bastard regret. Regret getting too drunk, regret approaching her, and more than anything else, he would regret counting to three.

The items themselves are unaffected by time. Description: Byakugan "White Eye" is a dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga clan. This technique is the activation of the ability from the eyes previous dormant state. When activated the users lavender eyes become more focused, their pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge. Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one small blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. The second ability is being able to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The user is able to see into vasts distances in which a regular eye cannot behold. They are capable of seeing insects behind trees with distinct perception and look behind wall with the Byakugan's ability. The third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, chakra flow as well as the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style: Gentle Fist. It was also noted that the Byakugan can also discern a transformation and a real person using the eye's ability to see chakra, as well as barriers. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from member to member. [C-Ranked] activation is able to see 50m in radius. [B-Ranked] activation is able to see 150m in radius. [A-Ranked] is able to extend 400m in radius. And finally [S-Ranked] is able to extend 900m in radius.

By using Byakugan, this technique can be used to hit very small targets, such as bees etc. This attack can also be used to attack a persons chakra network by performing accurate shots into their chakra system. It these needles exceed the range, they disappear. 4 needles make be made at one time using this jutsu.

Description: Hakke Kūshō is a technique performed by members of the Hyuuga Clan. This technique is similar in practice to Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin, but has a specific target rather than a general area. To perform it, the user precisely pinpoints the enemy's vital points with the Byakugan and releases a high-speed palm thrust. A "vacuum shell" compressed using the Gentle Fist is formed to violently push the opponent away a few meters.

Chakra Cost: Hakkeshō Kaiten is a technique performed by members of the Hyuuga Clan. A Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline using the Jyuuken. Kaiten is a special technique passed down through the main family line. Kaiten takes advantage of several of the unique abilities of the Byakugan eye. Byakugan gives the clan member an almost complete 360 degree view of their surroundings. This allows the member to see all angles of attack. If an attack is near, the clan member will release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu. The member then begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack.

Description: Eight Trigrams Thrity-Two Palms is a technique performed by the members of the Hyuuga Clan. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to see the inner chakra coils system. Using the Jyuuken style, they can force their chakra through their hands into the tenketsu of the opponent's body through 32 strikes. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, and finally 32. This damage forcibly closes 32 tenketsu, slowing the chakra flow of the opponent. Those who fall victim of this technique will consume 25% more chakra per jutsu for 2 posts. C-ranked ninja may find it difficult to avoid this attack, though higher ranked ninja may interrupt it by evading if skillful enough.

Description: Kaze no Muchi is a technique that utilizes the wind element. By concentrating the right amount of fuuton chakra into the users hands. From that pint they can wrap the chakra into a whip, which they can then use to lash at their adversaries. Much like a normal whip,cutting those who are lash at and struck. However, due to it not being an actual tangible object, it can not wrap around objects or be grabbed.

However if the jutsu is expanded outward from the person's body then the strength and cutting power is decreased substantially.

Description: Fūryoku, is a simple technique that utilizes the wind element. By collecting small amounts of fuuton chakra in the feet, arms, hands, ect, then releasing that chakra at once, the user can use the force of the chakra to increase the speed and power of their actions. If released when jumping, the user will jump higher and faster then normal. If released with a punch or kick, the user's blow with have more force within it, pushing their opponent further back and placing them off balance easier. This technique can be combined with various forms of taijutsu techniques, to increase their power, or just with their normal attacks, making their normal combat even more hazardous.

The ninja will then jump into the air to "shadow" the target with the target's back to their chest. This move is used before preforming "Omote Renge - Front Lotus" or "Shishi Rendan - Lion Combo".

Description: The user first uses the "Konoha Kage Buyou - Leaf Shadow Dance" to manuever his/her opponent in a vulnerable aerial position. If he/she is unable to make a clean strike, he/she will strike anyway as a feint, to draw his/her target's attention and defense to one area. The user can then strike the undefended area and begin knocking them downwards towards the ground. As the enemy falls back to the earth, the user will deftly rotate his/her body around to deliver a full force kick to their chest.

| | I've never been much of a fan of jutsu, but I'm sure some of the basic taijutsu or maybe some nin-tai would be helpful, so I'll take one final look at those. Thanks for catching that. |
