Wind Weapon

From what i have seen there is one weapon in the encyclopedia that allows the user to create wind and that is the giant fan. What I want to know is if it would be possible to make a smaller version. AKA A hand fan. With that the user can use most of the jutsus that went with the giant fan but have more versatility as opposed to it. Also the user can use the hand fan in close range combat since you can fold it and deflect bladed weapons. So in the end is would this be allowed?

It wouldn't change the fact that it would still be a B-Ranked weapon. To put it bluntly I don't see why you can't downsize it for a smaller version.

Not quit. Wildfire's character has a fan that is D-ranked and exactly what Yama is talking about. Big enough to generate a small gust for certain techniques (Dust Wind, Kamitachi, etc) but well within the description for D-rank weapons. And there is absolutely NO requirement in the rules that say that the fan has to be chakra-conductive to be used with a jutsu unless the jutsu specifically requires it. The description you're quoting is what the fan itself can do without any jutsu.

I was going to suggest that if you were granted such a weapon it would of course not be at the same level of that of one of these larger fans, in regards to the gusts of wind and the damage they can do. I wouldn't have thought D-rank was a suitable rank for one though which now shines the light onto Amy. Razz

Seems fine but once again, considering they would be smaller in size in comparison to the larger fan the gusts wouldn't be as large.
