The problem with the Curse Marks that we tried before, was that not many members had Fuuinjutsu as their specialty, which if I remember correctly, was what you needed to place a Curse Mark on someone in the first place. That and you had to be Jounin to do it. Also though the Curse Mark had a lot of good benefits, it also made you submissive to the person that had cursed you, hence why a lot of people didn't want to get one in the first place. All of it was very loyal to the canon as well, which suggest people don't want a 'real' Curse Mark, rather, they want a power up.

The point is that the amount of drawbacks would be ridiculous. As you might not have full control of it, it could just consume you for a while. But if this happens you could always have an admin roleplay you as your curse marked self.

No, you cannot make such a technique. We're almost finished with our Limited Jutsu list that will be placed up and the whole point of this list is to allow some of the techniques that are often considered too overpowered for a Naruto roleplay in a watered down fashion and only hand them out to a few people so everybody isn't running around with Chidori or Rasengan.

Curse Seals have been considered in the past and although Chris didn't exactly hit the nail on the head with his explanation, some of those reasons were taken into consideration but really boiled down to it still just being too full on despite all the drawbacks we attempted to throw at it.

Anyway; an unfinished and currently very "Alpha" version of a Juugo based clan is being made by a staff member, but don't keep your hopes up. Such a clan is very likely going to get tossed aside due to the cursed seal just being an unrealistic and annoying thing to regulate. Refer to what Chris and Adam said as to why your hopes should be at a bare minimum, however if by sheer miracle it does happen to pop up for everyone; expect it to be a limited clan and as heavily regulated as say, the Uchiha or the future Limited Jutsu List.
