| Just a quick idea on my part, but how about allowing members to make characters with only one profession (e.g. a la Rock Lee + (basically) the rest of Team Gai) and for doing so, awarding them two extra SC slots as a means of balancing the character. That way, we can have super-Tai enthusiasts, super-weapon (samurai!!!!) enthusiasts and so forth. |

| Implying a Specialty equates to two SC slots. |

| Implying that it could roughly equate to that amount, depending on what SCs you get |

| How do you figure an SC roughly equates to a specialty? |

| Most of the SCs are augmentation on either elements or attributes of specialties, so how does having two additional characteristics equate to having roughly an additional spec? I can have a tai, nin character and only take SCs which benefit either my Ninjutsu or my Taijutsu, forgoing any augmentation to the other, that doesnt mean my one specialty is equal to the power of a whole additional specialty.
At any rate if you really want a "heavily specialized" character, I do not believe it is forced to take elements nor a secondary specialty just heavily suggested. You can simply only focus on weaponry or on taijutsu if you choose to do so. |

| If you want to go Tai crazy, you can already do so. Those who reach S - Rank capabilities are able to gain six Special Characteristics, that means a person is able to end up with the maximum Speed, Strength, Endurance and Evasiveness, as well as having room for two more SC's that can be related to increasing your Taijutsu capabilities. So having the argument in order to benefit from going solely Taijutsu wouldn't really be a solid one and as Uros & Trey have said, one specialty = two SC's is bad math.
