Excuse me while I add more to this:
- The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug was awesome, in my opinion. I highly recommend it to anyone who's a LOTR fan. Surprisingly, this movie didn't seem as drawn out as the first (though I still enjoyed the first part). Benedict Cumberbatch was awesome as Smaug; genuinely terrifying. And I was geeking out during all the Necromancer bits. Especially during that one scene.
Also: Legolas. Aka, Cleanliness personified.
- Catching Fire... Unnhhhh...
- There's also the American Hustle, (which I haven't seen yet), but my brother and cousin say is a must-watch. Oscar-worthy, they say.
- Another movie I haven't watched yet, but my cousin saw Gravity and had nothing but good things to say about it. That's infrequent in itself, I should say.
- Thor: The Dark World was decent, only because Loki was as entertaining as usual. If you don't like Loki, though, you best give this movie a wide berth. It's far better than the trash that was the first Thor movie, but it's nothing to be awed by. At least this second one had jokes that were legitimately funny.
Movies I'm looking forward to:
- Avengers: Age of Ultron
- The Lego Movie
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2
- Robocop

Also, I liked the Hobbit, didn't see Anchorman2, liked Last Vegas, liked Thor2, and think people should go watch the last two, they are worth seeing. Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro, Michael Douglas and Kevin Kline in one movie is just great. |
