Mission Objective: An old man has fallen ill with a disease that threatens to push him to his last breath. After living a long and adventurous life, he has accepted his fate, with only one regret; having never met his one and only grandchild. The relationship between himself and his daughter was always strained by his impulsive and unreliable nature and his tendency to vanish when his family needed him, leading to a messy and permanent breaking of the bond between the two before she bore her child. That was quite a few years ago now, and with the last of his savings the man has hired village shinobi to fulfill his last request; to see his kin before he dies. The man has already received news of his daughter’s passing from a private detective he found on the cheap, and it seems his grandchild was orphaned in the Land of Fire. It’s your job to go to the place the detective has indicated to find and fetch this grandchild and escort them to the old man’s deathbed, then ensure their safe return home after his passing. This grandchild shares their mother’s fiery stubbornness and the evasive abilities of their grandfather in his hay day, however, so keep a close eye on the brat, and be sure no harm befalls them!
