| The breeze was brisk, an aspect of the Administration Building that Robin severely missed. The breeze just seemed to understand the former Hokage and could ease and calm Robin's mind. But this relaxation would be put to bed very shortly as his hand struck the wood of the Hokage's Office's door. It was time for Robin and his accomplice Tani, who had secured the Bag of Fuijin in their most recent mission. Unfortunately, Robin had not been present at the time of the bag's possession as he had a rather large and slithery opposition. His wounds had not completely healed, despite the Chuunin medical shinobi Hani's best efforts, Robin looked a lot like a hobbled old man. Physically he was an old man, however his personal/sexual pursuits and complexion would suggest otherwise.
The group who had set out for the mission had returned with the objective, however were one less shinobi upon their return. Robin knew he would have to be the bearer of bad news, though he knew Mitsu would understand the sacrifice. The Village of Leaf was now in the possession of a God-like item and held a significant advantage over the other Hidden village. It would be in this upcoming confrontation that Robin would like some clarification and hopefully the possession and control of the bag. Robin was well aware of Kemuri's downfall to the power of the bag, however he too knew that his innate intelligence and power could grant him control. All that he needed to do was have Mitsu the Hokage open the door and repay Robin's services.
OOC: I'd rather have Miguel post then Alex post after Miguel and keep this order. That way we can have some fluidity. Though that's my opinion, really doesn't matter if Alex wants to post next. |

| Mitsu was somewhat dreading the morning on which we join him; despite this, he felt a childlike emotion of raw, tangible excitement. Having to hear the downsides of the recent 'expedition' and the toll it had taken upon the forces at his command and those within the village would be difficult, and yet, he was looking forward to reacquainting himself with the one whom had successfully secured one of the objects that the village had been focusing upon so intently. Only once had he met his predecessor in the past, but he was looking afford to the second occasion greatly. Uzumaki, Robin was certainly renowned for many of his quirks that made him stand out from other professional, role-model type Hokage, and a fair few tales surrounded the utterance of his name. Certainly, he was the kind of man that every young child looked up to. And as someone whom hadn't quite closed the door to his past, Mitsu mentally resembled a young boy in some of his actions and behavioural manners, one being his excitement at such a meeting. To sum up the anticipation of the meeting, one could accurately use the word mixed.
Of course, more than anything, Mitsu was looking forward to being able to wield this 'godly gift'. He would have to appropriately test its power, for all he had heard were simply legends and folk tales, and yet if any of the words that had been passed from generations of ageing lips to the the younger mouths held any weight, the new Hokage was in for a treat. Of course, much as he would like to 'have a go' with the artefact, he would have to be ever wary that it was not, much to his dismay, a toy. The weapon would be of great value to his village, and as such, great prestige would be brought to those whom brought it to their mighty adobe. Such a possession would certainly increase the need for fear of those whom opposed Konohagakure, and the small item would probably be worth hundreds of times its weight in negotiations. Yes, Mitsu would have to ensure that all those involved with the process were duly rewarded for their contribution to the armament of the village and in increasing its stature across the world. The power of what the village now owned was unthinkable. When would its usefulness stop?
Of course, one moment Mitsu was dreading was finding out what his soldiers had been unable to scrounge from the destinations of their expeditions. If any other dangerous weaponry had fallen into the wrong hands, then he needed to be aware of where such things could be found. He didn't feel any militant action would be wise, but being alert to all the dangers around him and his village was of paramount importance; were he not filled in about whom had what weapons, he'd have very little knowledge as to whom wielded more political power. In the wide scope of things, such information was very valuable. When the knock did finally come against his door, he rose. He grabbed a bottle off the shelf and two tumblers, ready to greet his predecessor once more. Quickly covering the length of his office, Mitsu tugged open the door, a smile on his face. The blinds were closed, uncharacteristically for his office at this time of day; the chairs, rather than be arranged around his desk, were stacked high, leaving the only seating places the cushy armchairs around the fireplace in the corner, which is were he intended to take the meeting. With a warm gesture of welcoming, Mitsu waved his hand, indicating for those present to take a seat. The glass of the beverage holders chinked as his hands trembled, awaiting what was to come. |
