E-C Rank Puppetry Jutsu.

I personally have a problem with the canon Puppetry jutsu, which was brought up in my character application. I let it slide to get my character approved, but I really would like some light shed on this issue.

Kawara Shuriken - Roof Tile Shuriken, Soushuuha - Manipulate Advancing Blades and Soushuriken no Jutsu - Manipulate Shuriken are all listed as Puppetry techniques, when to me it makes logical sense that they should be weaponry techniques, not puppetry. I fail to see how creating shuriken out of roof tiles had anything to do with puppetry. Or how manipulating the movements of shuriken with ninja wire isn't weaponry, when the technique fuses the capabilities of two weapons which have little to do with puppetry.

Can anybody please explain to me? Because it seems to me like these jutsu were just listed as puppetry techniques to bulk out the site's canon puppetry techiques and weaponry techniques are easier to create.

I think they need to be reworded a little bit so that it's clear that those are chakra-strands/wires or whatever they are called that are being used in order to control the objects in question. And only puppetry users can use them. I'd like to point out that you can control the objects far more with those special puppetry chakra wires than if you would use normal weaponry wires because you -cannot- enhance those normal wires with Chakra. Unless of course you have the Chakra Conductivity SC and that's B rank so you can't start out with it anyway.

I'd think that was the reason they are not put as Weaponry, and they are quite handy for the puppetry users.

Can you share with me the issue you had about your application?

I'd understand if it were specified within the jutsu that the weaponry is controlled by chakra strings, that actually makes a lot more sense now!

But otherwise, I think one of the jutsu uses just regular wire, which would still make it a weaponry technique and not puppetry. As for making shuriken out of roof tiles, that doesn't use chakra strings, and making weapons out of the environment seems like something much more suited to a weaponry user than a puppetry user.

And the problem I was having with my application was that it wasn't explained to me why these jutsu were the way that they were, just that they were and I had to accept that.

I'll just add something to this, in the anime/manga stuff the Kunai and Shuriken manipulation was in fact puppetry. However, roof tile Shuriken was Ninjutsu. I do believe the wording should be changed as well so +1 to that, but Roof Tile Shuriken should either be Ninjutsu or Weaponry in specialty. ;3

I'd like to once more bringing up Sprinkling Rain as a weapon manipulated by chakra by a Genin (An Average Rain Genin, not a plot armored character) that sure as heck isn't puppetry.

Why? Because you guys have it in the canon list as a C-rank technique. Which it is in, canon.

And other, silly, chakra manipulated weapon techniques located in the Encyclopedia. Which don't require SCs involved.

~ Although one must keep in mind that many of the random characters can surprise us, I think Kubo just sometimes feels like giving random ones a chance to look useful. (Like the civilian's shop which had a gun behind the counter.)
