| Are we allowed to make Missing Ninja? Are we allowed to make Missing Ninja in self-exile (they didn't do anything in particular to be considered a criminal, they're just unstable and leave the village to refrain from hurting anyone)? Is there any position in which a character could travel wherever the hell they wanted whenever they feel like it, and make friends from different villages? And finally, would I be allowed to alter my application a bit to my liking in order to fit the image I originally wanted my character to display? I've been feeling inspiration in all sorts of ideas, the majority unrelated, hence all the questions. Depending on the answers, I may be able to put some of those ideas to use. Answers to all of the above would be greatly appreciated. |

| You need admin permission to start off as a missing ninja like me. I'm pretty sure that abandoning the village is a crime in itself, so you will be considered a criminal even if you were to leave for the sake of safety of the other villagers. However, I'm sure there can be an IC workaround for that. Missing ninja can travel where they hell they want, with the risk of constantly being hunted. If other ranks can do that, then I'm not sure which.
I really think you should become a missing ninja, its fun. D:
PS. There's no racism. |

| Thanks for the information, it's greatly appreciated. Another question though - what is the current position of secondary characters, civilians even? I remember seeing a topic about it, but can't seem to find a straight answer or any hint as to whether or not they'll be allowed anytime soon. Sometimes I like having two different characters to switch back and forth with, depending on my mood or state of inspiration. |

| Nope. The only way you can have a second character is in the form of a NPC. So you won't have a second character per say, but you will be able to take a break from your primary character. |

| What do you mean by NPC - NPC stand for Non-Playable Character... So the way the term was used confuses me. That said, what do you guys consider an NPC and what exactly is their role. Can they only be plain civilians, or could you so far as to have them work in hospitals or shops? Basically, what are the limitations to an "NPC"? |

| Yeah, the way that term is used here confuses me too. As far as I know, we are allowed to create a NPC, and use it to RP with someone else. I'm pretty sure you can only have NPCs for minor roles, so not I'm not certain about having NPCs that run hospitals and such. However, you should address this to a mod, there doesn't seem to be any guidelines on how to use that system, and thus anything I or any other member would have to say on this subject could be potentially inaccurate. This is the only information I have on NPCs, its from an old thread.

There's nothing stopping you from creating or using an NPC, Staff members aren't the only ones that use them. I like the current system, where a member can simply opt to NPC for someone else, instead of having to apply for a specific type of NPC and only use that one NPC.

| Meh. I suppose I'll have to wait for a Mod to respond then. |

| MOD HERE!
Drake pretty much said it all. I'm answering as sort of like a first responder to give you a small amount of relief and such. Your best options are to either PM Adam for MN permission or to make a character in a village and get permission IC to be like a wandering diplomat or something. |

| Cool beans. I really want to make this character work though too, so I'll probably hold off on the whole Missing Ninja thing for the moment. Now to think of a reason why a 13 year old girl with amnesia should be allowed to wander to other villages... Oh wait... Anyways. I suppose this is solved, unless anyone has anything further on secondary characters. |

| Second characters are a very firm no, so I'll go ahead and call this solved. |
