Aging

Heyo,

I am not a big fan of the aging thing at all, at least not the one we have right now. I think that as it is now, people will age out of chars they like, seeing as some chars were meant to be like.. I dunno, Orochimaru or Itachi when they were young, or like some sort of Kakashi copy. As it is now, I heard we have to age up when we rank up, and we have to age up when 3 months pass.

To me, all of this feels way too soon, and if we do it in a way that is less forced, I feel that it should work out much better for everyone. I quickly wrote something up that might work out much better, at least I feel that it eases my feelings towards this system.

Quote :: Required (Forced) Aging = Once every 6 months
Non-Required Aging = During Rank-up

It allows people to go through with their Child Prodigy things, and doesn't force people to age when they rank up, though it becomes a thing of choice. If people REALLY want to age up a year when they rank up, then that's cool, though it should not be forced upon them. As for the time period of aging, it seems only fair if we make the aging process a bit slower, seeing as 3 months / 1 year older is pretty.... bleh

When I found out about the system, it made me quite sad, and I would hate to see the site get inactive when people reach a certain age and then get pushed further then they'd like to be pushed. Lets keep the freedom of Roleplaying and change this around a bit please Q_Q

I kinda like this. Not going to lie. I'm not against the current sites aging system, but i kinda like this too. Spreads out more, and seeing as Ranking up is reasonably easy, this is good, Imo.

I talked to Dino about this in the chatbox and he seemed to be satisfied after I fully explained how it worked. However we'd like to see other people's inputs before I lock and solve this.
