| I have bad news, and some worse news. For the second time technology is failing me in the form of laptop and charger. Roughly five minutes ago while charging my charger(where it plugs into the laptop) began to spark. Now before this, the portion that plugs into the charger had been becoming loose due to having to manipulate it into a position it would charger. That was because the internal portion of the laptop where the charger plugs in has become loose as well. So in the end, I need to get both fixed, or maybe just one, or I may even have to get a new one for all I know.
Therefore I unfortunately will be away for an unknown amount of time, this is mostly because I simply have no job right now, I'm looking but have nothing, so I have absolutely no idea when I'll have the money to fix this problem. |

| I hear about so many people having problems with laptop chargers, yet I've never had it happen to me.
What the fuck do you do when yours breaks? I don't know about over in America but I cannot think of anybody in here in the Aus that has spare laptop chargers on hand for purchase.
Good luck with it all Iori, would you're back here in no time. |

| One question. Is it an Acer laptop? If so, I wouldn't bother getting a new charger, I'd get a new computer. My sister and I both had Acers and for whatever reason, the chargers would stop working. I finally got fed up with it after the third one and bought a new laptop, as did she. |

The same thing goes for HP Probooks, exact same thing. |

| HPs and Acers eat chargers if they are left plugged up forever. and Adam
We can usually go to stores to get them cheaper than actually buying them off the main store website. usually like $70 plus. |

| 1st one it happened to was a Gateway. This one is a Samsung. Anyways, I have gotten uber lucky, for at the moment I have just managed to get my laptop charge again. So I'm here for now, still leaving this up since I more than likely will end up without it charging. |

| Oh heck, laptop troubles are horrible. Mine shuts down after about 10 seconds off charge. I hope your charger holds out for the time being! |

I've run through about three batteries and chargers. I always used to take good care of it too - off charge when the battery's got plenty, discharge it every now and again... *sigh* |

| Worst than the charger or battery going the is when the plug-in for the charger-to-laptop is loose as well >.> Combine that with a essentially broken charger, and you get a broken system xD Thank god I managed to find that 'one last' position it'd charge in. |

| Alright, this time its a sure thing. And I've more or less surmised the issues with my Laptop at this point. 1) The plug-in for the charge(in the laptop) is definitely loose, not massively so, but enough to cause an issue. 2) Charger has possibly become internally frayed, thus preventing charge. 3) The part that plugs into the laptop is also loose, and makes the occasional crackling noise.
Thus it is at this point I must sadly say that I shall now be away until further notice. I will try to drop in when I can, and I will try to get the charger working again. Until then, all I can do is save money, look for a job, and pray to whatever higher power there is that I won't need to do any major replacements.
One Pissed Canadian...Outta here for now...
Edit: Soooo... I totally went out for a coffee, came back and got this bright idea to try my charger in my cousins laptop(exact same as mine) and guess the fuck what.... the damn thing works! So, I totally need a new laptop, or need to see if the charger plugin is fixable... |
