Akimaru marveled at Takigakure from a distance. It did look rather beautiful. "It makes a change from Konoha." Which was true in it's own right. Konoha was a lovely place to live, but it got repetitive after living there for all of your life. It was nice to see a change once in a while. Which is one of the main reasons Akimaru liked going on missions; for a change of scenery. In the middle of Takigakure, a huge tree seemed to just randomly grow out of the middle of it. It did look rather strange. Strange, yet unique. Admiring for the village for a few moments longer, Akimaru made his way towards the village. It only took him a few minutes, as he did a gentle jog. He didn't want to run straight into the village, as it was occupied by ninja, and infected people. Akimaru wanted to give them the antidote, but keep his distance. As he entered Takigakure, the ninja's on guard saw he was an ally via his Konoha ninja headband, eliminating the need for him to force himself to talk. For some reason, he found his mind wandering back to Lilium in the park a day or so before. Shaking his head and focusing on his mission, Akimaru climbed up the rooftops, in order to get an easier look for the village hospital.
He took a few moments longer than necessary, in order to a little more sightseeing, until a stern voice in his head reminded him of the seriousness of this village's situation. Even though the mission had stated the Waterfall Country, Akimaru decided it's Hidden Village would be able to hand out the antidote much faster than he would alone. Keeping to the rooftops, out of the way of Takigakure citizens way. One difference Akimaru found, was that Takigakure was smaller than Konohagakure and the shinobi to civilian population was a lot different. In Konoha, it wasn't hard to find a ninja walking in amongst the crowd, but in Takigakure, Akimaru had to keep his eyes peeled, and during his journey, he only saw a few ninja. "Maybe the ninja were infected more? Being at the vicinity of it all, having to deal with all these infected people." Even after all of his sightseeing, Akimaru wanted to complete his mission as quickly as possible and get out of the area. Rushing towards the hospital, Akimaru jumped down from the roofs, and entered via the main doors. He walked quickly yet formally up to the counter. He was representing Konoha, and he had to make a good impression. When he was at the counter, he introduced himself to the nurse, in a low urgent voice. "I am Akimaru Kiyo, I am here from Konohagakure no Sato, in order to deliver the antidote to this infection you asked our medical ninja to help you with." Gasping for air, and the fact he had spoken a long sentence, Akimaru pulled his bag off of his shoulder and opened it. He carefully removed the vials, and reddened at the sight of his half-eaten lunch also in the bag. He put the vials on the counter. "Now I can be reassured, these will be used correctly?" Akimaru looked at the nurse, but couldn't really take much in.
"Of course!" she chirruped. She leant over the counter and kissed his cheek, causing it to go red. Akimaru had not expected that. When he gave her a quizzical look, she also reddened, and recomposed herself. "I am sorry, it's just our medical force here in Takigakure isn't as strong as the one in Konoha. Thank you so much for helping us! Send my personal thanks to your village, and that of our entire village!" Several other nurses who had obviously been listening in on the conversation despite Akimaru's efforts to keep it private, nodded in agreement at this point. It really hit Akimaru how much of a help people could be, and it made him feel good. He nodded, rather than wanting to talk anymore. He turned on his heel, and had a bounce in his step. The mission was complete, all he needed to do was get back home. Deciding to take a little time to sightsee, Akimaru walked down the street. The shops and housing area were pretty much the same as Konoha, but interesting to look at nonetheless. It wasn't until a child with purple skin, coughing up small specks of blood was rushed down the street, straight past Akimaru to the hospital Akimaru had just left. The boy looked straight at Akimaru, and for a split second, their eyes' connected. The colour faded from them just a little. "I need to get out of here." Akimaru thought madly to himself, making his way towards the village gate again.
