Nickname:
- Soldier: Since his loyalty remains only with Yoroi and Konoha itself, Heishi follows each and every command that is given to him. He takes pride in knowing that people view him as a Soldier of the village.; even calls himself that to boost his ego some.
- Shi: The male just loves nicknames that flow naturally and have good meaning behind it. This is a simple in-formal way of actually getting his attention. Heishi allows ANYONE to call him this. It doesn't matter if they first met, or if they've been life-long friends. As long as he's speaking to them, he adores the name.
- It: Since he isn't the most average shinobi, Heishi has seen his fair share of being belittled as a child. Throughout his whole academy years, he was constantly bullied for the fur around his body, as well as his ears and tail. The feline started to ignore it and actually take notice that it was just a form of getting some sort of attention that was given towards him. Having no biological parents in the area, Heishi took this as a positive trait from his classmates.

Appearance: Heishi shows that he is constantly active from his body structure. It’s not the most toned thing in the world, but he is slim. At least for his height and body weight. From the ground up, the teenager stands at an average 5’9” while boasting the weight of 165 pounds. Considering that he is a bit underweight for his size, he makes up for it with flexibility. His hair, being in dreads, is pretty basic for the hairstyle that he chooses to have it in. Ebony locks, with mild tones of orange highlights go down to his nipples and middle back when placed in a ponytail. Various rings and beads could be adorned in his hair from time to time granting the occasion that he is experiencing. Normally, golden bands with tribal designs (based on the nature of fire and lightning) grace the peak of his ears on top of his head. His fur coming from the extensions are dreaded in the same way as his normal hairstyle, sleekly blending in with the rest of the hairdo. He isn’t too fond of actually showing his ears off to the public at times, so he wears his headband as a do-rag so that he can cover most of the area of his ears.
His arms go down to his waist, easily being a sign of long reach for the teen. When fully extended at shoulder length, his forearms bulge from the physical use that they have had over the years of grabbing things. As for his tail at his waist? It’s constantly wrapped around his stomach, only unwrapping itself when it’s being used in combat or he’s trying to evade attacks. He keeps keen eyes on his tail, as it’s one of his most prized possessions on his body. His skin, naturally dark in hue, carries multiple scars from his training days of trying to better himself with weaponry.
The major one that most people would spot from the first meeting would be the scar over his left eye that goes for the majority of his cheek and eyebrow. It’s from his blades bouncing off a dummy and making contact with his own features. It’s not really something he talks about since he will get embarrassed from the story, so he tries to ignore any such questions coming his way from the curiosity of the people. Heishi doesn’t really mind that he is darker than most shinobi, he actually takes it as one of his positive traits that he has.
Due to his clan’s nature of having temporary tattoos, Heishi actually bares none. He takes his scars as the memories he had dealt with in his flesh as a replacement. He does want to get some eventually, but he’s content at the time. Heishi’s nails are long, and black in nature. They come to a point where if he wants to itch at his skin, he has to be careful as to not puncture the flesh that lies against his bone. He could easily place a gash on his skin from the sharpness of the nails.
His toenails match the same style of his fingers, keeping them sharp and easily accountable for use when he needs it. He keeps them mostly covered by closed shoes that people don’t have to take a glance towards them.
Heishi’s optics are pretty unique in their form even though he is basically a feline. Instead of the basic white base, his has a yellow hint towards them. This doesn’t mean he is unhealthy, or that he has to take some vitamins, it’s just his natural color. The pupil comes to a slit, with a mixture of lime green and mustard yellow making up the majestic colors of his eyes. It’s a rather unique, yet beautiful color mixture that he is fond of.
Large mutton chops, a chin strap, and neck beard stick out from his skin. It actually looks mixed in with his dreads from time to time when he chooses to wear his hair down.
- Custom Uniform:
Although he isn’t of chuunin or jounin yet, he did get to swipe one of the flat jackets when he had a chance to. He altered it to help out his mobility and access to various items as quickly as possible. When using this outfit, his elbow pads have the konoha forehead protector on his right bicep and forearm. It’s to allow it to help from getting scratched and other various things. His legs are typical covered silicone pants that had the inner leggings colored in a dark red almost close to his skin tone. His ninja pouch is tied to his left knee, again allowing easier access to his shinobi tools when he needs it. The flat jacket itself is placed on his body by two straps on the side of his right ribs, locking into place when he pulls the thicker cloth over his torso. Scrolls can be attached at his waist and thigh, holding up to five smaller scrolls whenever he deems fit.
Two slots in his back allows his Gou to hang from his shoulder blades so that he can constantly have his weapons out, the ninjato keeps near his lower back at his tail, so that it can wrap around the weapon whenever he deems fit or needs it. Instead of having open toed sandals, the genin has shin guards that close over his sandals so that it looks like he has boots on instead of the average sandal that most shinobi have. The collar of the jacket is actually raised up so that it covers more of his neck, almost reaching his earlobes at its total length. The common red swirl, instead of being on the back, is on a smaller patch just above his heart, keeping the ‘will of fire’ strong within himself.
Forehead Protector: Used as a headband to push down his ears against his skull just a slight bit. It alternates to his sleeves according to the outfit that he wears.
Personality:
Strict, but honorable.
From the get go of meeting the male, Heishi can come off as an elite figure in the ways of the shinobi. He spent his childhood and academy days studying the way of the shinobi. He abides by the codebook and knows nothing else. It wouldn’t be wise to try to correct the feline, as he does get a bit stubborn with people when it comes to the rules. He just doesn’t deal well with slackers of any kind. Even when he starts to get lazy himself, he gets aggravated to the fullest degree. He doesn’t know anything but the village; as far as the land outside the walls, it’s unknown to him. He knows of the other major villages, of course, but he rarely trusts any member that does not have the leaf symbol on their figure. He usually snarls and hisses when he wants to make his statements heard, it’s expected of a natural leader. He usually tries to act like he is the personal guard of the Hokage, even at such a low rank. It’s the only way he can repay the village for taking him in at such an awkward time in his life. Even if they were rough with him, Heishi only knows Konohagakure as home, and that won’t change.
However, this doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any sort of free-will. He does, he just chooses to follow the word of codeboook and get it enforced any way possible. It doesn’t mean he will go shoving the rules and code down people’s throats, but he will mention it whenever he gets a chance. He will back off once someone gets enough of his ‘preaching’. Heishi wants to bring people into Konohagakure and get them pumped, not make them drift off from getting on them far too much.
Friendly, but cautious. Although he views himself as the ‘epitome of shinobi grace’, Heishi can have his friendly and kind moments. He does this to try and make up for the time that he was alone during the academy and growing up as an adolescent. The male tries his utter best to impress people of various ranks and does so quite well (‘Least in his eyes.) Most would view him as an attention seeker, but he does his best to try and make some sort of acquaintance with the shinobi that would help boost up his ranks over time. The saying does go “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” Right? Although he hates traitors with a burning passion, at least they are going to be backstabbing him where he can keep an eye on them. He never thought about going on without a village to direct him in his way of his life. The thought of actually having no one to turn to would simply cause his body to shiver lightly. He cared for whatever friends he could get ahold of in the village. He was always scared that they would leave him alone over the time that they would grow up together. Having no family in the village causes him to think some dark thoughts at time.
He always puts his real self out there, but there are times where he questions the people that he shows it to. Anyone could turn on him at any given moment, so he does hold back some information about himself from time to time. Trust isn’t something that is easy to gain from this shinobi. It’s rare that he trusts anyone but the Hokage himself. He hopes that people slowly start to realize that he doesn’t mean to come off as rude when he talks about rules and so forth. It’s the only thing he knows on how to start a conversation. It’s all that he was raised on. Rules mean order, and order means comrades will be trusted. That’s how he chose to work.
Calm as a river. Friendly as a child. The anger that the teen haswill never be shown in public. A professional outlook on the duty at hand will always be shown from his expression. In fact, he would show sadness before showing any sort of spark from his inner thoughts. He sees them as a hassle and chooses to not let them surface. When around people of all sorts, he tries his best to view everything with some multiple understandings. There would be reasons someone says or acts a certain way, and he would do his best to find out why. Heishi doesn’t like starting unnecessary drama or bouts within his village. Even so whenever he chooses to go outside of the village walls; it wouldn’t be wise to start something with another village and start some sort of war that would bring in the other major bases. There is always an aura from how calm he seems all the time. Even in a spar with teammates, the expression he holds is a constant small smirk; it’s not to mock. No no, it’s him having a good time! An outburst of anger or aggravation slows down his progress to actually make something of himself to prove the village that he is actually worth a great deal to them.
He will go to lengths to even offer the cloth on his back to the person in need. Need food? He’ll give them his own rations and wait throughout the day to actually try and make impressions on multiple people. The teenager, once again, rarely loses his temper. It’s only those that really crawl underneath his skin that get a stern, pissed off glare from the feline. There are times where his talk about rules and code can come off as being mean and aggressive, but he is merely making sure everyone knows that he is going to be watching them so that he could potentially save their lives if it comes to it.
Village before anything. This is quite simple really: Konohagakure is his only known way to live. There are no other villages that are more important to him. There is not a single person (besides the Hokage of course) that matches up the gratitude that he has for the village. He will literally put his life on the line to save it from any potential threat that he sees. Even if it means a fellow shinobi, or civilian, if he was ordered to take them out, he will do so without hesitation. If a love interest, or best friend was deemed a threat, he would take them out. There is going to be nothing that gets in his way of protecting the village. It would go far as taking himself out from the village walls to protect it even further. All he wants is for that place to be a safe haven for people like him, and the others that would come after. Konohagakure is something that he would practically brag about every chance he would get. Saying how gracious he is to the council for allowing him inside the village and the academy. He would never betray the village even if he was given the option to- it just wouldn’t come from him.
Heishi is as loyal to his team and potential cell mates as he is to Konohagakure. Once he makes a bond, he never loses it. No matter what turmoil that the friendship goes through, he tries his best to put his all into every sort of relationship that he has. The bonds, village, and his skills are the only things that are tying him to this material world. If he were to lose even one of them, he will lose his balance of thoughts and become mentally unstable.

Combat Style:
Heishi is one of the more physical fighters that he knows of. Weaponry, mainly close range, is his main form of combat. He does use jutsu from time to time to either boost the effectiveness of his strikes, or mess with the playing field some. He never, ever fights dirty or uses some cheap attack. It’s fair and square when one chooses to have a bout with the teenager. Using aerial sweeps and flips, he is constantly on the edge of his toes. It’s only so that he can anticipate and have some sort of reflexes when it comes up to close combat. It’s the only way that he can survive while being in the main zone of people’s reach. When both of his hands are used for his blades, his tail can wrap around the handle of one of his shorter and lighter weapons. This gives him the ability to use the tail as a fifth limb, mainly used for quick stabbings or some sort of nuisance for the opponent to focus on. It’s not really something that he uses a lot, but he does take its usefulness for granted and sometimes forgets that his tail is actually strong enough to grip things.
When it comes to long range, Heishi is equipped like a natural hunter that he was born to be. A bow and arrow is all he needs to take down a threat from a distance. Although he does have ninjutsu that he could bring into the playing field. Katon is used to work with his weaponry techniques, mainly hiding them in flames and trying to cover the metal in some sort of heat that would add extra damage to his movements. Raiton, being his weaker element, is used mainly to help his weaponry strikes. He doesn’t really want to focus on using ninjutsu as a main force of his arsenal. With the metal gracing his back, and the claws on his fingers tips, there are multiple close range solutions that he could use to his advantage.
The weakness that he has when it comes to combat is rushing in too early. He doesn’t take time in moments to actually think out his opponent. He would rather learn what they’re like up close and personal rather than waiting away from them to await their tactics. This could either be Heishi’s downfall or trump card at times. Genjutsu is one of the biggest challenges that he has to deal with. There are times where he will fall stupidly into Genjutsu, forcing himself to get frustrated (but remain calm) at his opponents for using such a strategy against him. He rarely taunts his opponents. It’s all about keeping honor and keeping it fair in his books.

Description: The ninja gains a unique skill which allows them to have a natural sense of direction and placement. They always know what time it is, what direction they're facing, and even the temperature. They can essentially survive in any environment and always find routes to their destination.

Description: Although all Ninja to some degree are renown for their evasive and slippery nature a possessor of this SC has trained to the point where they have begun to master not only the basic forms of evasive maneuvering, but they have also developed a small degree of Kinesthesiology (Bodily Knoweldge) increasing their natural mobility and flexibility. The suitability of the ninja increases as they are now capable of executing quicker flips, twists or dodges than their peers.
THE BACKGROUND.
History:
- Birth:
Coming from the wilds, Heishi didn’t know much about order and rules, or laws keeping him in a controlled state. The clan that he came from constantly roamed Kaminari No Kuni from one place to another. They shouldn’t be considered nomads or anything of the sort, but it allowed them to scope out the area and actually claim a faction of the mountains as their own. Seventeen years back, he was born to Aya and Kojo Ferisu, being an only child at first and their first born, he was spoiled. Constantly. Aya always kept him near him and so that she could keep her eyes on him, they made sure that he ate before they did; they made sure that he had some source of fabric on his body to keep him warm before they even thought of themselves. The child was easily their apple in their eye, showing promise of actually extending their clans numbers and staying close to them while they traveled. Heishi was healthy, strong, and had the will of all the members of the clan. The constant transition of the clan actually became second nature to the child once he was aged one year. He didn’t quite call any place ‘home’ besides the area on his mothers, or fathers’ chest that he slept on at night. That’s the only sort of home that he knew, it’s the only one he wanted. With thunder and lightning constantly being hitting in the outskirts of Kumogakure, and various other parts of the country, Heishi never gained a fear of loud noises. It was actually soothing to him to hear the thunder and feel the earth that he laid upon cradle him to sleep when it happened.
When he turned 2, Aya actually got pregnant with another sibling. Heishi was still too young to take into consideration with what just happened, of course, so he was naturally excited to actually have a younger child that he would be able to look after and play with. With him having access to his legs, the child roamed around the various camps that the clan placed up. He constantly climbed rock, and trees, trying to get into anything and everything that he could lay his claws on. Heishi was still trying to adjust to being mobile, even if he was causing trouble around the camp.
The younger brother was finally born! Taking up most of the attention from Aya and Kojo from the get go caused Heishi to actually become jealous of the younger brother. He didn’t fully resent the child; he just wanted some minor form of attention from the two. The baby actually had an odd color palette going on compared to Heishi’s orange-ish skin and black hair. The fiery red male received a name that would eventually be lost to the older brother when the years passed. To this day, he still doesn’t remember the name that was given to the child. Why should he remember it when it became obsolete over time?
Heishi grew up keeping his distance from his sibling. He didn’t care for the thought of sharing attention with someone, so during the day, he would interact with other children of the clan; keeping close to them and trying form bonds over his course of stay within the nomad group.
- Arrival in Konoha:
Being used to only having his parents attention, Heishi actually viewed his younger as a hassle more than a sibling. He wasn’t acting cold on purpose, but how would one expect him to act when he got jealous? He wasn’t proud of himself for actually resenting his brother, but he couldn’t help it as well. The other children of the nomad camp didn’t have to deal with younger siblings just yet. They didn’t exactly know what he was feeling; so he never really vocalized what he felt every time he had some negative influence in his mind. The child went through this with his adolescent years and early preteen years.
As his brother got bigger, Heishi’s personality got darker. He wouldn’t share food with him; he wouldn’t even sleep in the same tent as the kid. Heishi would much rather sleep out in the rain rather than being warm and cuddled up against his family. He grew cold by the time he was 10 years old. He just couldn’t handle being around people who would turn their attention away from him for a few seconds. Kojo and Aya couldn’t really pinpoint where they went wrong with raising him. When he was a single child, he was fun, loving and full of adventure and energy. Ever since his sibling came up, his personality changed for the worse. Kojo and Aya knew that their older son had energy and interests in actually seeing more of the world, but would they stay with him or actually let him go alone?
During a late night, with both of the boys asleep, Kojo and Aya talked about the scenarios that they could place both of their boys in. They could either become shinobi in one of the major villages that would give them protection and the home that they deserve, leave them in the wild and force them to learn certain things by themselves, or keep them there with the clan; not really learning much about the world. Of course the last choice was automatically cut out from the final mindset that the both of them had. With Heishi not wanting to be near the family for as long as his younger brother was under their watch, Kojo and Aya actually thought it would be better to separate the boys for their own good. They didn’t know what the Heishi now was capable of with his brother; they didn’t want any sort of conflict to come from this.
So, they packed their things from the clan camp, not even bringing the majority of the items with them. It was only some spare clothes, food, and items to take a break with. They didn’t even bring blankets to cover each other up with. The constant moving was no surprise to Heishi, he knew that the clan liked to move around and find places to keep warm while doing some basic recon for themselves. He was actually excited to see another part of the country that he has yet been to.
Heishi actually traveled behind his parents and sibling. The 13 year old didn’t want anything to do with the small gathering in front of him. When he was asleep, Kojo and Aya actually talked deeper about the plan to separate the two. Heishi already didn’t care about his brother, so would it be really that bad that the duo gets split up without any word? Not a problem at all.
He awoke on top of his father’s shoulders, with his mother covering her face from tears. The sleepiness still caused his vision to be blurry, which in return caused him to have trouble keeping up with the events happening around him. The area was brand new to him, it’s been days since they have traveled, and yet he never heard the cry of his brother, he hadn’t seen his mother in this shape ever before, and his father kept his grip tight on his lower back. Where was he taking him? Where he was currently located? There was nothing but silence when Heishi felt another pair of hands press into his back; feeling his limbs and body slowly shut down. The darkness that his vision caused was the last view of his parents that he can remember to this day. He is grateful, of course, for their decision to bring him to Konoha, but would it come and bite them back? Heishi hoped not.
The stranger that took him into the village of the leaf placed him in the basement of the academy, allowing a group of other shinobi to discuss his placement. They were going to allow him to learn about jutsu and chakra and add him to the force of Konoha, but they would have to keep an eye on him at all times. They called one of the Yamanaka into the basement to wipe his memory of pass events. It would not only help Heishi, but it would help Konoha keep control of the feline.
- Academy days:
2 years passed from the moment his parents left him in the hands of the shinobi force of Konohagakure. The now 15 year old had already experienced a year and a half of total academy training. Even though he was oddly the oldest in the class, Heishi continued to study and try his best to become a force to be reckoned with. He wasn’t the most popular thing in class; actually, he was constantly bullied for his tail and ears. He didn’t know that village people could actually be so cruel like this. He already gained the nickname “It” from multiple students, but he took it as a sign of actually gaining attention rather than it being some sort of negative influence and term to hinder him. The fact that he was on average 4 or 5 years older than the common student also baffled most of the teachers. Most Heishi’s age were already chuunin or higher rank, and he wasn’t even genin yet! All he could focus on was studies. He didn’t want to become a slacker for a village that was teaching him how to be strong, and how to protect the ones that he cared about. Even though he had no one to call family, no one to rely on, Heishi’s personality started to change.
He respected the Hokage and the village for keeping strong through tough times. His loyalty would only remain with the village and Kage himself, there was no turning back from this point. Every moment he would get, he would practice his weaponry skills a bit more than his jutsu. Every type of weapon he would try at least once just so that he could get a feel for what weapon type to use in combat situations. His body started to show how much he trained with blades and various sharp tools. Especially the scar on his face that came from a ricochet of a blade bouncing off a wooden dummy; that actually caused him to focus more into graduating the academy. He didn’t really gain any friends, but over the next 2 years, Heishi tried his best to make his teachers and fellow villagers proud.
- Genin:
It took another 2 years, making Heishi 17 before he would be able to claim the title of genin. It was a proud moment for him, but seeing the children with parents and siblings really took a toll on the teenager. He did have someone he viewed as a father there, but he knew for a fact that he wasn’t his biological son. The boy had fucking cat ears and a tail, how many more clues could he get? Still. The man treated him like a son of his own, and gave him a place to stay and study when he needed it. The do-rag forehead protector was finally handed to the genin when his name was announced at the graduation ceremony. The smile gracing his features actually was sincere and genuine. He was actually a leaf shinobi at last, and he could finally pay off the debt that he owed to the village for taking him in. Would he go and try to make something bigger of himself and eventually join the ANBU ranks, or would he stay a lower class shinobi still making his way through the ranks? It didn’t matter from then on, he actually had a home to protect, and people that relied on him.
Roleplay Sample: - A Chance Meeting.:
Take was never one to pretend to be someone he wasn’t when he wanted to make an impression on someone. Although he doesn’t really talk to many people, he tried his best to show his complete personality all in one setting. It did allow him to have some subjects to talk about and reach out to others to break some sort of conversation off the topic. Who doesn’t like talking about themselves? Every being had some aspect that they adored about themselves and felt like they should share it with the world. Take was no different; he knew he was kind when he needed to be. He knew about the blood that flowed through his veins that gave his vision power over the rest of the people in the village. Rank didn’t mean much to him, as he stated before. It was a simple title that anyone could obtain once they gave in the work and effort to reach said rank. It was one of the very few flaws he found out about in the village system that had been set up for years. It was laughable how many elements he could see about a village and actually come up with other ideas how on to expand on the better values. Take wouldn’t dare speak up about the ideas, however. He was never brave enough to voice his opinion out towards the council of the village.
It just wouldn’t make sense for him to do such a feat against the village. He would literally feel like he was committing treason against Kirigakure if he wanted to voice change about in the system.
With Seika sitting on the rock explaining her reasoning for the killings, Take kind of dozed off for a few seconds to try to imagine her being actually being capable of all the events that she had said. “If she is capable of takin’ one’s life, then I guess any one could be in moment to take another.” It was a curious thought that entered his mind. He hasn’t really achieved a talk with his parents about the ranks of cruel shinobi that exist outside of the villages. Iro was his first run in with the nuke-nin sort, and it probably wouldn’t be his last. Although Inu was a bit different when it came traitors, Take didn’t feel any sort of hostility towards the younger woman. She did wind up saving his life from the mist and brought him back to a main path on the road. The least he could do was treat her with kindness and respect just as she did to him.
When his gaze was brought upon Seika’s after he asked about how she took the lives of the ninja she spoke about, he started to get a bit concerned. He knew past things like these situations could bring back unwanted feelings and words to the person who saw them, or committed them. He hated that he brought her bright introduction down with such heavy questions on her soul.
“I-I’m sorry.” Take didn’t know what he would do if his parents were injured on the job. Hell, even his father would receive sympathy from the genin. Even if he was worthless at times, he was still blood, and still his parent. That was something he could never drop from his life. No matter how hard he tried. She kept on going how about they were coming from Kumogakure. He hasn’t personally heard much about the cloud village. He firstly didn’t have any sort of interests to visit the village at all. Why would he want to, especially after hearing the event from Seika? If he had any sort of adventure left in his system for that part of the world, it was killed just as the person that she spoke of; shattered if it took a physical form.
“It must have been hard.” He calmly stated, trying to think of another sentence to speak up with. Nothing could come from his throat, even if he forced himself to have any spark of vibration to come from his cords; nothing came. The insect coming in front of her face caught his attention when it flickered the chemical reaction in front of her own optics. Any eye color other than a white, and vibrant violet he considered exotic. The hazel with golden rings caught his attention for a few moments; almost becoming lost in them when she suddenly started her second story.
“B rank missions, huh?” Those were the letter ranks he would have up for grabs in a few weeks. “They already have that sort of danger?” he thought to himself while folding his arms in front of his torso in a tight gesture. His index finger brushed against his bicep while leaning his back against the tree again to feel the dampen bark mark his fabric from his weight. He knew that B-ranks had an increase of difficulty to get done, but he had never imagined he could be assigned these type of scenarios to just get some credits to help out the village. He did love Kirigakure, but how much did he truly love being there? He wasn’t a solider, at least he didn’t view himself as one. He was a protector of the people, the villagers that couldn’t fight for themselves, and the protector of his own being. If those ranked missions called for him to take out his own friends, he would probably do so with no trouble. Even the fact that he was thinking like this caused him to get frightened just a bit.
Take widened his eyes once he noticed he got her rank wrong from just guessin from her uniform. How could he mistake a chuunin uniform for a jounin rank? Maybe she took it as some sort of compliment. He surely hoped so seeing how the conversation took a turn a few words back. “Special Jounin? Wow.” He was truly impressed. His lips started to raise up at the corners to etch a fleshy smile from his expression.
This was probably the second highest ranked shinobi that he had met, with the other being Mana, as a jounin. Both being female purely impressed him. He knew that the ninja world was mainly a male controlled and dominated business to be a part of, but that didn’t mean Take thought of women as nothing but wives and people who serve their husbands at home. It was quite the opposite really, seeing that his own mother had stories of when she was a ninja in Konohagakure. “Red and black? Nifty little combination you have goin’ on there.” He did like the nature of darker colors complimenting themselves on the uniform of a shinobi.
He only chose simpler whites and greys for the moment since it was natural for his clan to dress this way. There was also the fact that most of the clothes that he had in his possession were hand-me-downs from his own father. He practically wore them as a genin, and worked his way up to Black Ops in them. Take started to wonder if he would follow his father’s footsteps and go that direction with his career as well. His mother was purely against it the single time that he brought it up, but she started to understand more and more when he would give indirect answers towards her about what he would do if he became one to gain the mask.
He knew that she would want to know more about the loss of his eye and the story behind it. Who wouldn’t want to know an awesome(Not so awesome) story as this one?
“Well, I can start from the beginning on what led up to the loss and what happened afterwards. It’s simpler that way, honestly.” Takehiro started to slide back down the tree that he laid against, pulling back up his right knee so that he could rest his right arm on his joint. “I just finished helpin’ out the local blacksmith with sharpening some weapons and packing them up in a box. She had one arm, so I had to help, ya know? I didn’t want to leave her hanging and strugglin’ to get out some weapons to the people that order. I would be personally pissed if my order came later than the scheduled date that was listed on the paper, would you not as well?” He laughed off the little sentence he formed, continuing shortly after.
“She then asked if I wanted to accompany her to deliver some weapons to a nearby port village and get her back in one piece in case some bandits did jump her on the way there. Of course, being naïve and too kind, I agreed to help her out some. It would be cruel to let a one armed woman walk out of the village with the pack of weapons that she toted. It was pretty impressive to say the least how easily she carried all the metal. It should have been he first thing that made me weird out, honestly.”
Take started to cringe once he repeated the events that happened just a few weeks ago. “Then, we went out into the forest, taking a so called ‘short cut’ that she said she knew.” He threw up some air quotations beside his cheeks so that he could put some emphasis on the word.
“These next few events, you might not believe, but I swear I’m not really makin’ them up.” He couldn’t imagine how many times he had explained this story to both his parents, Tatsu, Mana and now Seika. The more people that knew, the more that he could get his name around the village so he could get a few more missions made just for his sake. “Her name was Asune. I never got her last name, but I could describe her to you in an instant if I was asked to do so. She had some pretty common features, though. All expect her hair. It was a bit off putting.” He chuckled at the thought of the brightly colored locks appearing before him again.
“She was giving these weapons to nuke-nin. A specific one named Iro. He was a hulking man, he didn’t even look human once you got up close and seen his being. And the one arm deal? It was a genjutsu wedge to make me believe that she was handicapped so that I could help her finish the products to get to her. Pretty messed up, right?” He shrugged after speaking up. He was going to pause to see what she had to say about the events thus far. Take was by no means trying to outdo Seika with his pity story, but she asked a legitimate question, and she was going to get a fair answer.
“Iro was the nuke-nin who took my eye. He spoke to her to get it transplanted into him once they get back to base. From what I could see of his chakra network, it was all perfect. No a single flicker, not a single mishap. The guy had control over his chakra, and it showed. Oh boy did it show.” Take brought his digits to the bridge of his nose to calm down his rage that built up inside him slowly as he went on with the story. “I don’t know where this base is, but with the eye being mine, wouldn’t it have my chakra with it? Or at least a speck?” He was kind of getting hopeful that Seika had the answer to his question. It was a hopeful way of keeping optimistic of the kind of situation he was in.
“That’s pretty much it. Now, Don’t let it make you feel bad or somethin’. I’m not letting that fool make me feel less of a shinobi, so I won’t be stoppin’ even after I get my eye back. And I will. I can make a promise to that right now.”
He stood up from the tree while walking towards training grounds; his back facing Seika for a few seconds before throwing his right cheek over his right shoulder. “I’m kind of interested to see what this clan of yours is about. Do you mind showin’ me some things? You don’t have to take it easy on me. I can take care of myself when I really need to.” He flashed a smile towards her that was full of light and fire in his heart. He just wanted to see how comfortable he could get around her, and why not do that with a spar?
“Alright.” He started to stretch while unbuttoning the front of his robe and letting it fall to the ground with a light dust cloud forming from the impact. Tying his hair in a ponytail, Takehiro removed his headband from his head and placed it ontop of the white fabric he just let loose from his body. “I don’t want to rip those items, or scratch them in any way, so I hope you don’t mind if I do this without them?” His toned torso and arms shined from the sweat beads reflecting the moonlight off his fair, light skin tone.
“Ladies first, of course.” He smiled with a soft bow of his waist towards her.

| Edited all mistakes and some other minor ones I've found.
Added two medium scrolls in place of two small scrolls. |
