APPEARANCE:- PHYSICAL:In the most literal sense there’s very little to describe when it comes to Hotaka’s appearance. The young Jinchuriki stands at the height of only 5'5, while weighing roughly 120 pounds. He is quite scrawny and small, his body in such a shape that you could hardly guess he was a ninja. Even if his body is lean then he is stronger than most would guess at first because his ninja training. He wouldn't perhaps be described as being the tallest and most fit genin out there, but give it a year or two and his growth will surely start kicking in, after all, he cant possibly stuck at this puny size forever right? Now being at the age of 15, the young boy is not pleased about having a face that would indicate him being at least a few years younger than his actual age. His smooth, slightly pale skin which doesn't hold any blemishes would make any girl feel jealous of him, and boys often ask if he uses a girls products. His slightly big, round eyes hold a fascinating chocolate brown color, the kind of eye that easily displays his emotions in it’s own chocolate flame . He's got a petite nose over a small mouth with slightly full lips that reveal a row of pearly white and sharp teeth whenever he smiles or speaks. His dark brown hair reaches down his neck at the back and frames his face in messy locks that never seem to be able to stay the way they should be. The comb always has to admit defeat, leaving out only the possibility of using tons of gel. Which might not exactly be his first choice. Physically, Hotaka is far from intimidating, yet few realize he is quite literally a beast trapped in the body of a child. This beast within is only revealed in the unnatural and rather perplexing growth of a tail nearly 4 foot long from his tailbone, this however is often by a henge outside of combat.
- CLOTHING:Hotaka is far from the type to don the traditional battle gear as he finds it uncomfortable and constricting to his form, yet he clearly cannot wear traditional civilian wear, otherwise he will be lacking in the ability to hold the equipment required for his trade. Instead he substitutes this battle wear with clothing mimicking much of the common civilian wear, yet with unique pouches and pockets to secretly contain his shinobi equipment, it has become his way of keeping his own originality amongst the mass of Shinobi within the village as well as allowing him to blend in with the crowded streets of the village in order to avoid any attention he does not desire. It is most common that Hotaka’s clothing will consist of a typical school uniform. A white shirt that's usually buttoned all the way up, or in a messy way when Hotaka oversleeps and has to be in a hurry, a red tie which seems to be a bit strange on such a young boy and then a dark blue jacket over. His pants are dark green checkered, his socks are colored usually after his mood and then he wears simple brown shoes. Other days he will wear little more than a pair of blue jeans and a jacket of some sort,
PERSONALITY:How does one begin to describe the famed Hotaka? He is such a brave and strong fighter, a genius, both on the battle field and off, never making the wrong choice…or at least that’s what he wishes he was. In truth Hotaka is quite the broad and interesting specimen. He seems to both be unrealistically transparent whilst also being incredibly varied. He is quite difficult to describe in just a few words as he tends to be a genius at one moment and a complete moron in another, he can be kind and cold, observant and oblivious, he is difficult to describe with merely one of these terms. His entire personality seems to most to be one constant flux, ever varying, constantly changing, it can only be said that he contains multitudes. He possesses several personality aspects which seem to be a relative constant and yet there are some times when they may be missing all together. Needless to say, due to the situations under which Hotaka has matured and his bond with the Four-Tailed Bijuu, his personality is difficult to pin down for most people.
[Brave/Stubborn/Prideful]: The easiest part of Hotaka’s personality to pin down is his tendency to be exceedingly [borderline stupidly] brave. This might indeed have something to do with his pig-headed and stubborn nature which he inherited both naturally and from his bond with the Yonbi, the Bijuu being a prideful and stubborn creature itself. Hotaka does not back down from any situation in which he can protect someone or something, such situations seeming to light a fire within him when they occur. And due to his stubborn nature, he cannot back down from them even if they grow out of hand, thus his bravery closely borders stupidity. It has been said that he would be likely to go against a Kage themselves if one [or even more than one] were to threaten something Hotaka cared about. Bearing that in mind, Hotaka also finds it exceedingly difficult to back down from any sort of challenge or dare, no matter how impractical or impossible it seems to be. This has indeed gotten Hotaka into many situations which were far over his head, quite a number of which, he barely managed to talk or fight his way out of [Such as lighting the Raikage’s office ablaze.. albeit unintentionally ].
He is oft criticized or berated by people who claim he has no common sense to keep him out of these situations. Yet this is both true and untrue, he is simply too prideful to back down, it would after all, be an insult to his name and pride if he were to do such a thing. One of the few things Hotaka absolutely cannot stand is an insult, be it to himself or to someone he cares for and often he will answer such an insult with a challenge to battle or some other ridiculous type of game, even if there is very little of a chance that he can win, which is highly likely to get him into a great deal of trouble or personal injury. He is not malicious with these acts though, Hotaka has good intentions, it is just that often these aspects of his personality conflict with his rationale.
[Naïve/Wise/Honor-Bound]During much of his life, Hotaka was raised and trained in a Monastery, which was distinctly devoid of much personal interaction with people close to his own age. Thus, by extension, Hotaka is very naive and inexperienced when it comes to human interaction. Because of this he often fails to understand many important aspects of human conversation, such as sarcasm, body language, a number of jokes and he sometimes has the occasional mishap whilst attempting to interpret tone. This hindrance with human interaction often gets Hotaka into a number of troublesome situations at some times, occasionally leading to a hilarious outcome.
Yet, perhaps because of his lack of interaction, Hotaka lacks many of the stigmas and stipulations given from being raised within society. For example, Hotaka never sees any need to censor himself, thus he always says whatever is on his mind during the conversation, no matter the subject or whether it is appropriate; which in turn can lead to many situations during which he will say something either very wise or very hurtful unknowing. As another side effect of Hotaka’s isolationism, he very idealistic and strong in conviction, never willing to compromise his beliefs, even on orders. Yet perhaps this aspect will be continually chipped down by the harsh world of the Shinobi.
[Curious/Intelligent/Avid-Learner]Perhaps the first things that the people of the Monastery noticed about the young Hotaka is that he is an outrageously curious person, causing the simplest of things to be blown into a full scale fiasco merely because he put his nose in a place it did not belong. As such he greatly enjoys learning new things and living through new and unique experiences. He enjoys doing anything that may increase his knowledge base. He also finds. He finds delight in puzzles, seeking the solutions frantically and even after finishing them; he may do them several more times just to prove mastery over them. Perhaps as a result of his aforementioned curiosity, Hotaka is extremely intelligent. One of the smartest minds within his previous order, he has been called as a genius. But the ever modest one, Hotaka denies it. He knows, what he knows. He does not openly brag about his knowledge, nor does he openly give it away, preferring to only display said knowledge when needed. Largely due to his massive curiosity Hotaka seeks to always increase his knowledge base and because of such it is incredibly rare to find him without a book or scroll of which he will examine every character of in an attempt to gain any and all information from the material.
[Playful/Trickster]Hotaka could only be defined as the trickster. He loves to play games, more so he loves to play games with other beings. A little extra chaos always makes the world a brighter place in his eyes. He has always been the prankster and the practical joker; although many find his jokes to be...less than funny. As such he is very sly and cunning so much so, that he often believes he can talk his way out of anything, but more often he only manages to talk himself into more trouble. Hotaka often enjoys games of any sort, but his stubborn nature often makes him more than unwilling to accept defeat and will often cheat or bewilder his opponent if it means Hotaka can walk away the victor.

COMBAT STYLE:Despite his rather prideful and stubborn nature,Hotaka fights with a unique calm and passive nature. He is never the type to reveal any of his potential and abilities if he can prevent it which is likely to be the leading cause of his pacivity in combat. He will rarely if ever make the first true move in combat he will wait as long as it takes for his opponent to reveal their attack if the situational is favorable. Because of his personallity many may see Hotaka as an easilly won fight, but that could not be farther from the truth. Despite his attitude Hotaka takes to combat remakably well, his mind able to take in every aspect of the situation with little effort as well as being able to think several moves ahead; treating the battle as if it were simply a complicated game of chess. He treats basic and common techniques as pawns; being more likely to reveal those over others and his trump cards or unique techniques as more valuable pieces, being very much less likely to reveal those.
During most fights he does his absolute best to keep his thoughts and actions calm and collected. He attempts to beat his opponents with a minimal expenditure of both energy and equipment for as long as it is reasonable in the combat situation, having been taught to continuously poke and prod to test the weaknesses of his opponents.
When forced to fight Hotaka relies on his Taijutsu training to preform quick precise strikes to take down an opponent first, whilst using his skill in ninjutsu to control the battlefield as well as counter his opponent.

THE BACKGROUND.
HISTORY:- Spoiler:
Destiny Perhaps? Or Mere Luck? Obscured from normal society there exists a series of caverns which travel deep within the mountains near the shinobi village of Kumogakure. Legend says these caverns were created by the beast known as the Yonbi, the Four-Tailed Bijuu, the tale goes on to tell how the Yonbi made these caves his home for many years before being sealed into one of his Jinchuuriki throughout History. In the early days of written history before the advent of Shinobi villages, many believed the places in which the Jinchuuriki have lived hold a unique and powerful chakra remnant of the Bijuu's power. Those that held this set of belief thought that this power remained there, untouched for centuries, emanating a potent power which infused nearby life force with vitality and strength and as such they oft made their settlements near these areas and over time they became known as Remnants. As the world changed around them many groups of the remnants disbanded and went about their ways, however one group in particular stayed, making their home in the mountains of Kumogakure. This group both lost and gained size over many decades, losing members due to deaths or those that wished to leave and gaining due to births or stragglers they picked up along the way. It was into this group, one of the last of their kind, that Hotaka was born. Well in truth, Hotaka was not born among the Remnant Monks, he was born elsewhere, but left for them by an absent parent figure. Yet it was here that he was both born and reborn, for on the very night of his impending arrival on the metaphorical doorstep of the Remnant’s home, their leader - a wise sage among the remnants - became convinced that he could harness the residual power which they had built their home around to make the one of them immortal. It was his belief that this person would become the last and final Jinchuriki for the Yonbi, a Bijuu who’s power they worshiped so dearly. As if decided by the fates themselves, Hotaka’s arrival coincided with the time during which the Sage had been searching for a suitable host for this power. He believe that the younger the child was the more suited they would be for the powerful sealing technique he would use and because of Hotaka’s unexpected arrival the leader believed it was a sign from Kami himself and chose the infant for the ritual. Thus soon after being born, Hotaka was being reborn. Vessel for a Demon:
Hotaka grew into quite the interesting child, like a sponge he soaked up anything presented before him. He was able to walk with fairly good balance at a slightly younger age than most, although the advent of his tail may have helped with that. He began to read at the age of 4, younger also, than most of the other and once he could, he devoured even more knowledge at an increased pace. It was often impossible to find him without a book of some sort. His thirst for knowledge however, did extend past the words on the page, shortly after learning to walk Hotaka took an avid interest in the art of physical fighting which was taught at the monastery taking to it quite well.
His life continued in much the same form of constant learning until the age of six when a momentous event occurred. Due to both some representation on his behalf, as recognition of the unique ritual done in his youth and hope that it would strengthen the bond between the Yonbi and it’s Jinchuuriki, Hotaka was chosen to be the demon’s host at the age of six.
Although Hotaka was young, he detested the fact that he had little or no choice in this sudden change in his life, and a very important change it would be. When the shinobi of the village came into the Monastery Hotaka did everything in his power to fight, hide or flee from them, despite knowing their power was much greater than his and his struggling only proceeded to force them to knock him unconscious to preform the immensely complicated ritual while he remained so.
Academy and Now:
It too years of practice to become comfortable with the new being which now inhabited his spirit, Hotaka sought further training which he hoped would help him master the literal beast within. Now nearly nine years old, he and many of the elders at the monastery believed it would be best if he continued his training within the world of the Shinobi, despite the fact that they had originally detested the idea. Hotaka himself would’ve preferred a more direct one on one type of teaching, as he found that being taught in a group would lessen the personalization of his lessons and as such lesson how much he could apply to his unique style as well as his attempt to control the four-tailed beast within him. However, he knew that his hopes would not be granted considering he had no other standing in the village other than his status as Jinchuriki, in fact; as far as the village was concerned Hotaka was practically their property, thus under their command he was enrolled in the Kumogakure Shinobi Academy.
Much to his surprise, Hotaka found the environment of the Academy absolutely delightful. Whilst the number within the classes was not ideal, he adored the challenges and numerous amounts of things of which he could dive into with interest. It is safe to say, after four years of absorbing any knowledge and skills he could as if he were a sponge, there is no doubt that Hotaka certainly deserved the honor of graduating near the top of his class, ready to experience what he believed was the life of a true ninja.

Akira’s hand lazily traced across the books of the school library, his hand slowly moving down the spines of each book as he walked among the isles. He felt different today, as he walked through the sections of books, this time classics sections. He inhaled deeply, getting a nerd-ish pleasure out of the smell of the old books as he curiously gazed down the isle. Today felt different, it felt as if something were looming on the horizon. He shook his head, trying to shake away the depressing thoughts as his blue eyes caught a book laying on scratched and scuffed wooden floor. Crouching slowly, carefully shifting the balance of his large form, he picked up the book. Flipping the book over in his hand, Akira examine the title through the faded title, ’Dracula‘, his examined the bound book, the pages were old and faded and both the covers torn, it was old, destroyed by previous students, held together only by three rubber bands holding the overs too the pages.
Holding the old book in his hands, Akira slowly began to stand. Just as he started to move, there was a loud snap and every light within the Library snapped off, leaving the room in total darkness. Akira let out a low snarl as the lights went out, staying in his crouched form he waited the minute or so as his eyes adjusted to the darkness and he could see at least vague outlines of shapes in the darkness. He kept low as his eyes snapped around the pitch black room. “It’s probably just one of the student’s pranks again...”, he whispered to himself. It was an unfortunate habit that, although he rarely spoke to others, he always seemed to talk to himself.
Knowing the library like the back of his hand, Akira kept low and crept towards where he knew the door was. He was assuming this was just another classmate trying to fight Akira, but knowing they couldn’t stand an even fight, they were resorting to the underhanded tricks. He was in the back of the library, so he had to make his way all the way to the front without making his location known. ”Fucking Great“ he growled under his breath, as he moved around the corner, hugging the wall in his low crouch, still holding the book in his hand.
It seemed like hours as he slowly moved through the dark of the library, the time and lack of movement around him making his skin crawl with worry. If this were another attempt to gang up on him, they would certainly be louder and more obvious with their movements. ’Something else is going on here...‘ His mind began to burst with situations that it could be, but before his mind could force him from his calm, he shook his head throughly to calm the thoughts. ”Keep a hold of yourself“ he growled, a bit louder than he had meant to, his voice seeming to carry in the dark and silent library.
A low moan answered the sound of his voice. It was not a moan of pleasure...nor a moan of pain, but one entirely different. To Akira it sounded like a moan of hunger, the sound brought a chill down his spine and for the first time in recent memory, Akira felt fear. His stomach lurched and he felt the pace of his heart quicken, the organ thumping loud and rhythmically in his chest as he felt his muscles tense. His mind abandoned all reason and he released his muscles and sprinted towards the door, abandoning all reason as he ran. Operating purely on adrenaline and instinct, he felt his sense sharpen, his pointed ears picking up more low moaning and what sounded like shuffling feet as his eyes began to make things out with more accuracy in the darkness.
On instinct he hopped over a small cart loaded with books in the same manner a track runner would jump a hurdle. Within a few more strides of his long legs he felt his hand on the old brass door knob. Just as his hand grasp the doorknob the lights snapped back on, bright light flooding the library as Akira snapped around, blinking quickly momentarily blinded by the sudden bright lights. He looked around, blurringly making out shapes as he noted a humanoid figure advancing towards him, hearing another unnerving moan as his vision began to clear. The figure was the librarian and at Akira’s first glance, she appeared normal, but as his vision came back, Akira noticed the odd tinge of her skin..there was blood covering her mouth and it seemed as if her arm was snapped in several places.
With a lung, the creature attempted to attack Akira and his body reacted, his foot snapped out kicking a cart of books at her with surprising force. The cart collided with the female creature with surprising force, yet she made no note of the pain as the momentum carried her across the library, only the same hungry moan as she collided with a bookcase, causing the whole shelf to collapse on top of her. If it weren’t for the confusion and fear of the situation, Akira may have found the scene a bit comical, yet by the time the bookcase fell, he was long gone, running down the hall towards his locker.

Akira’s feet skid against the floors of the floors of the school as he stopped in front of his locker, his heart still pumping in his chest, as he ripped the damn thing open with surprising force. Leaning his head against the locker he let out a deep breath, attempting to calm himself as he reached in and pulled out a long object wrapped in cloth. ”What was that things?!“ His mind was rapidly trying to figure it out, certainly nothing he had seen before, but he sure as hell knew what it looked like. ”But that c-cant be possible.“ He sputtered, catching his breath as he turned away from his locker, now carrying both his sword and his bag he knew he needed to go figurer things out.
He started down the hall, towards the exit to the school, picking up into a slow run, keeping an eye out for any people. The school was strangely dead for the time of day and Akira’s mind still in reflex mode was trying to figure out why as he rounded a corner. another one of the creatures shuffled from an open door way. Acting again on instinct, he swung his wrapped sword around and hit her forcefully in the skull, the blow enough to knock her onto the ground as he took off again. His legs moving with serious force as he sprinted through the doors into the world outside, not entirely prepared for what he found.

As Akira slammed through the doors, his eyes instantly surveyed the carnage, more of the creatures were on the streets and a people were running in terror. ”What exactly are these things?!“ Three more of the creatures stood on the step of the school and lunged up the steps at the sound of Akira coming through the doors. No longer holding back, Akira quickly unwrapped his sword in one swift movement, gripping the sheath and pulling the blade free in one fluid move. The nodachi was swift as Akira moved it, his foot dashing forward he removed two of the creature’s heads in one swipe of the long blade. He was no longer holding back, witnessing the carnage had brought back his fighting instinct.
His footwork was quick as he swung the long blade around and dispatched the last of the creatures on the steps, sheathing the blade and completing the movement before taking off down the street. Keeping his keen eyes out for more of the creatures as he moved. Adrenaline pumped through his veins as he ran down the street, each of his senses enhanced because of it. He could both smell and taste the smoke in the air and his ears picked up the sound of gunshots in the distance as he ran. ’Where would be a safe place to go?‘ His mind began to think of locations, safe and away from people and these creatures, yet still a suitable place to gain information and after a minute and a large amount of distance covered he decided on the gas station outside of town, hoping no one else decided to go there. Turning down a road he started into a full speed run, able to see the gas station in the distance. He noted that there were fewer and fewer of the creatures and the one’s he saw seemed more distracted by the noise of the gunshots and were headed in that direction and so he ran on, thanking any gods that would listen for the luck.
Akira closed in on the Gas station, slowing his pace a bit as he took note of a blue car parked at an awkward angle infront of it. 'I was clearly not the first person to think of this....', his hand reached down and gripped the handle of his blade as he crouched low and silently moved closer. As he silently moved closer, Akira noticed a figure he recognized. The -short- skirt and tight shirt, the purple hair, even the way she stood, a small blade in her hand gave it away. Once he realized who it was, Akira instantly felt annoyed, there was only one person who could do that to him.
" Reiko!" Akira kept his foot steps silent as he crept up behind her, his mind flooding with emotions. He couldnt figure out how he felt entirely so he pushed the thoughts from his mind. Quickly he crept up and poked her in the small of the back roughly with his sheathed sword. ”So you‘re still alive are ya, Bitch?“ he spoke in a snarl as his telltale confident grin grew on his face. After speaking his eyes snapped up to the top of the gas station eying the muscular man with distrust before examining Reiko, his eyes immediately going down to her wounded leg. ”Didnt get yourself bitten did ya?“ he growled quietly to her, trying to not draw attention from the man on the roof as he spoke; “Cause I’ll gladly end your suffering..”

Magma accumulates beneath the ground and creates inactive pockets beneath the surface. The user is able to create three pockets from this technique all of which are 6ft in diameter. When a person steps on these unnoticeable pockets, the magma beneath them will instantly activate and erupt from beneath them, bathing them in lava. Until all three pockets have been activated or canceled, this technique cannot re-used.
