| Subject: Deep Underground. A goodbye for konoha. Sun 18 Apr 2010, 12:23 am | |
| Ling sat up with a smile on his face from a big desk. He was far beneath Konohagakure, in a wide space. It was currently filled with food and had an underground stream with fresh water. For many days now, Ling has been underground, readying Konoha for his departure. There was only one step left until it was completed, but a summary of what Ling had already done would best be looked at first.
On the first Day, Ling went just outside Konoha's gate, and used alchemy to travel far beneath Konoha. He sealed the gate as he entered. Sat down in his narrow tunnel in the dead center of Konohagakure no Sato. He folded his legs and relaxed his arms. He clapped his arms together and left them there As the earth glowed blue, as it expanded suddenly outwards. As he was in a meditative position, his use of spiritual energy was 500% more efficient. After the space was entirely cleared out, he built houses out of the earth, and stone. He successfully create a fallout shelter capable of housing all of Konoha's residents. But it wasn't this shelter that would play a role in events to come, but rather what would be directly above it.
After finishing the space in which the resident's of konoha could occupy in time of emergency, Ling rested for the night. When he awoke the next morning, he immediately got to work again. The first thing he did was connect this place through what would be the center of a massive transmutation circle. The entrance to this cavern was now in one of the many underground merchant tunnels. However, it was hidden, and access would only be able in an emergency. There are several tubes, that wind down that lead down from the entrance to a larger underground building. Because of the structure, there would be no getting backed up in the tubes, do to their size, and do the shape they take, no injury is possible. After another night of rest, Ling took the next day to create an underground river, fed from the ocean and other bodies of water throughout Konoha. This river would provide fresh clean water for bathing and drinking while Konoha was down here. During this day, he also turned grass, trees, and water, from the above land into foods like bread, pasta, and other such products. These tasks being extremely complex, they took all of the day.
On the 4th Day, Ling constructed the transmutation circle and it's activation point. The circle was an absolutely massive construction that filled the area in-between the merchant tunnels and the newly constructed fallout structure. The circle spanned all of konoha, and looked like this-
The Activator for the circle was but a simple, unnoticeable notch in a tree, which was slightly taller then the rest. When activated, The circle would target water, and all living beings above the circle would be entirely frozen, killing them instantly, as the water and blood in their bodies froze. Now, because it required alchemical energy to activate a transmutation circle, Ling had to spend one more day in preparation. For the entirety of the 5th day, he meditated, and turned spiritual energy, Alchemical Energy, into a crystalline form. By the end of the day, he was almost entirely drained of his energy, and so he slept, awaking the next day, rejuvenated.
Ling travelled to the building in which the entrance to the fallout shelter could be accessed. From there, he climbed up the only tube which had a ladder on it, and exited into the merchant tunnel. From there, he walked to the Hokage's palace, and went past the receptionist, into the Hokage's office. The Hokage wasn't there, which was all the better. Ling Left a note which entirely described what the Circle's use would be in case of an attack, as well as how to activate it, and other procedures to take. On top of the note, Ling left the crystal, which shone blue, glowing without refracting any outside light. With that, Ling turned and exited the room, and then the palace. Out on the streets, Ling made his departure quick. He clapped his hands together, and dissappeared, as he dissassembled himself from this world, and reassembled himself in his own.
[This marks the end of the existence of Ling in this realm] |
