Depression happens to people all around the world. I've been there as well. I find it helps to get outside. Watch the sun rise and set. Get some time in nature. It reminds me of all that there is to live for. It may not seem like it right now, but things get better.

And as for the relationship issues, their not issues. Why would you want to be with someone who treats you like a nobody, or who doesn't feel the same about you? When you find the right girl, you'll realize what all the other guys were missing that you had. The reason she picked you above the others.

It's not about better or worse, it's about a fit. Like pieces of a puzzle, not all of them are meant to go with one another. You'll find the girl who fits with you, just give it time.

P.S. I don't appreciate the American bashing.

There are few people who aren't actually Narses in America, I've yet to meet one.

In a way I kind of agree with this (though I do realise that it is a massive generalisation). I have just been travelling for just over a month and in that time I met a lot of americans. And in that experience I dont think I met or saw a single american who didnt show signs of narcissism or egotistic behavior. Coming from another country and the other side of the world it is more noticable I think than to you (americans) yourselves. It is commonly known that americans are loud, abnoxious people who think that they are more important than other people just because they come from the USA....

Meh..thats just the vibe that I got.

As you know I lack the concern to read anyone else's post, considering the length of the topic. However, your post being the primary concern would thus be my only concern. If anything like what i'm about to talk about has been previously talked about, then feel free to skim through it. What anyone other than flash does with this is none of my concern, nor do I care to hear the feedback should it be negative and unproductive. This is my introduction, now I get to the real point of the post.

Mr. Flash, the same thing you're going through now I went through a few months back, with the exception of the lack of girls, considering I am in highschool and looks are all that matter here.
That which runs through your head in the first portion is entirely the result of thinking in excess on everything. Seriously, we develope this feeling like people are useless because all they do, they do for themselves. We may go on to help others, but in the end we're the ones sitting out, we're the ones taking it for the team. We stand up for those who need, even if it is in our minds. You've essentially broken down what life is in a negative way. You've changed views, you know what it's like to be pessimistic. The feelings of those around you, their joy through pain brings you pain. You're like a sponge on the beach that gets thrown by the wake in to a pool of mud, never to return to the blue waters that splash just a few feet away. It starts when you're staying up, when you're alone and all you have to do is think. Honestly bro, it sucks.

In response, people are all in the end out for themselves. Even the man who gives everything he has to others, recieves just as much in unspoken favors. It's just people. They're all the same in one way or another. A bunch of little slide bars on a chart with difference measurements of different catagories.

Relationships. Psh. Look, relationships happen when two people feel an absence and fill it with eachother. Sure, there is emotional backing, some stability, etc. The scientifically defined Love is very simple, look it up. People are used to to people -> People miss people = love. The end.

Lift up your shirt. Maybe if you went topless and took off a bit of ninja gear you'd get looked at more. In fact, I think if you just left your shirt off you'd get more attention. Women are simple, as men are simple. It doesn't matter how strong willed they are, or how smart they think they are, each is manipulatable by simple physical characteristics.

Wear a watch. Open with, "Hey." not, "Do you know what time it is?". They're then obligated to respond or look like preppy B****es. =) In which case they're worthless anyways.

Yeah. Like I said, it sucks. It fades, you just have to let it.

I don't agree with this at all. Every country has assholes, that doesn't mean a lot Americans are. That's not only a massive generalization but stereotypical.. and offensive...

Enough of this. I think this was un needed. Yesh, America does and can believe that they can sit on their high horse. But honestly, all this trouble and a little fights begining. Sure, the Americans have one alot of wars, and as a Canadian, I can't say I'm proud about everything I hear in their news and what I've heard they think about my country, but they're entitled to their opinions. Same like me, but I'm not one to say much about them, because I'm not worried about what a country can think if they haven't had the same experiences in my environment. So, I ask this be ended, and the stereotyping ended. Sure, I understand everyone's opinion is different, but I also the that someone should put an end to this before it gets out of hand.

He refers to Americans as 'they', and makes a hugely false accusation that Americans have something against Canada. We don't. US and Canada are allied nations.

Yeah I didnt mean it offensively and I did state that it was a massive generalisation because there are dicks everywhere, but certain countries and areas do carry specific traits and behaviors in my opinion. I am not saying that all Americans are dicks because that obviously comes down to the individual and their own nature, morals etc. But being brought up in a specific culture does shape the way you act.

The american culture depends on the region you're in. The outside world only has what they THINK the american culture is like. Quite honestly, I think everyone outside the US's view on the US is altered. It's just like anywhere else in the world, where you go depends on what you get. =)

It doesn't matter if I said soemthing off topic. Deleting a member's post without propable, significant cause is frowned upon. You'd not like it on your sheet, don't do it. If you didn't like what I said, than you should read my other post. I only read the main post, because it's all that mattered in the topic. Nah, we said lets get back on topic, and then you go and make a post repeating exactly what I said in a more rude way, which was likely to cause more disagreement like what's happening now instead keeping the topic peaceful like I wanted.
