    Nat has a wiry body, black hair and purple eyes. He is about 5'10" and about 124 pounds, he is not extremely strong or able-bodied, he is agile and thin however. He wears mascara and has parts of his hair dyed purple, at times he wears purple lipstick. He wears a simple black coat with a purple striped shirt beneath it and simple grey pants with a tan buckle. He has a Tattoo of a scorpion on his right side of his neck, it is very wiry as well. if his collar is up the tattoo is hidden.

    Personality:
    A typical Punk. The Kid likes things his way and doesn't like being told otherwise. He is authoritative and aggressive, he tells people how it is. He likes to think of himself as a bad-ass and usually gets into more trouble then its worth. Most times he is calm and chilled but his temper is short and likely to spark out if someone insults him or any of his friends. At times, he can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, he pulls it together. He believes he has the whole world under his spell, and he can influence almost everyone he knows. He is manipulative in a manner but not extremely mean, he might say something to make a person trust him because he wants to be their friend, not to kill them later. Hes likely to get into a lot of trouble, but his kind of trouble is fun. He is somewhat comical in a sarcastic way.

    He is lively and unpredictable most of the time. He is swift in thought and quick on his feet. He doesn't usually think things through and that usually ends up biting him in the butt later on. He can rarely resist his urges to do something that will draw attention to him, most times it is for his own self-accomplishment, he likes to get into trouble then blame it on others, adding to the own personal comedy. He is usually kind and supportive of people unless they are total jerks to him, in which he usually holds grudges. People who are jerks to him, he returns the favor.

    Despite all this effort to make himself look better, he is really a destroyed soul on the inside as many ambiguous teens are. He doesn't sleep well at night which makes him crabby at times and is usually depressed but can put on a mask to avoid people questioning his motives. He feels alone in the world, even when with true friends, not the one's he bribed with comedy.

    The Cauthon usually are quite plain, they do not have any real distigubileness about them, which makes them oddly distigushable.
    Kekkei Genkai:
    Mind chakras are a set of chakras that allow the character to enter the mind of another and do damage. These chakras are dangerous and can easily backfire, so a character cannot have a skill of Mind Chakras higher then his rank, and it is ill advised that you use a mind-chakra equal to your rank. Once the user has probed into the mind of an opponent he can do a manner of all things to him. It is used in a way that genjutsu is and is strictly genjutsu based. This requires the person to be standing/sitting still and clear of distractions, the higher the rank the better they can preform. Please note that the jutsu used to enter the mind is only a jutsu used to enter it, not to control it, another jutsu must be placed after a jutsu is used.

    Description: Once inside the opponents mind, the attacker can plant a vision that will last a certain amount of time. The time is set by the character before the jutsu is used. A vision like this requires double the normal amount of chakra to break if it is realized. So if he used a C rank persistance, it would require a B-rank amount of chakra to dispell.

    The Cauthon are an Ancient clan whom began inside Kusagakure. They have been known to not share or let people know of their secret clan techniques or Jutsu for fear of the clan losing their identity in case someone decided to copy or create a way to copy the jutsu or techniques. They have very few actual Ninja inside the clan, but are known to be a warrior type clan, instead of relying on Ninja they rely on their own unique abilities to fight their enemies. They pray to the Deity Nio, who are two Gods who's purpose is to protect Buddha. Their history is mystery since no written documentation of the clan's history is kept, only tales told down from generation to generation. The few things that are known facts is the clan began in Kusagakure, but due to their warrior like attitudes and needs to be the better soldier they often got into disputes, a wise Leader rose up [Jin Cauthon] and he moved the clan outside of Kusagakure and began to hide their techniques and jutsu's. Now the clan is on the verge of becoming a Myth. The current leader however [Kinoto Cauthon] decided to send the clan into Kusagakure and a large group of Ninja began to arise from the Cauthon clan. Now many Cauthon Ninja are inside Kusagakure, helping defend the country against its enemies and the clan's enemies.

    Criminal Associations
    The character is well known throughout the Great Nations underworld. He may be a high-profile thief with a vast network of contacts, a city man familiar with local snitches and information, or an aristocrat with shady contacts who cater to his particular tastes. Regardless of the particulars, the character is a man who can get things done. These connections can be used to track criminals on the run, procure illegal goods, or gather information. Of course, information and services come at a price.

    Nat Is only a petty thief, and does not have any contacts of real value, but he surely knows who to go for if he needs anything, the local lords and who to avoid/befriend in terms of the underworld.

    Notoriety
    The character is notorious throughout the Village. Rumors about the character circulate throughout the city especially in the social circles he frequents. Notorious characters will be constantly harassed. Holders may find themselves refused service or entry into exclusive clubs, and lower-class characters may be threatened on sight or shunned completely. Notorious criminals will certainly come face-to-face with the Ninja Police from time to time. Notoriety is not without its benefits, however. The notoriously violent, for example, may cause fear wherever he goes, making intimidation and waiting in queues easy. Notorious characters will also attract a certain desperate element that is anxious to learn what makes them tick.

    Cowardice
    The character is a coward. He breaks under pressure. Never fights when flight is an option, and tends to pull the covers over his head at night. While this may be a perfectly sane reaction to life in the ninja world, it is hardly in keeping with the Ninja stiff upper lip.

    Reckless
    You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.

    Luck of Heroes
    You seem to have unparralelled luck, which seems to keep you alive better than any amount of skill can. (Only in non-battle Situations)

    Addiction
    You are plagued with addictions. In a vain attempt to escape misery, you discovered dependence. Addiction itself is particularly abhorrent to Ninja, who view all loss of self-control as a dire weakness. Despite this cultural bias, some addictions are more socially acceptable than others.
    -Current Situation: You partake in your would-be addiction regularly, but not overly frequently. You show no overt signs of dependence or addiction, but if you are denied access to your favored vice, you become short-tempered and irritable.

    Your Character is plagued by a strange mundane sickness. It could be that he was born with it or got it while on one of his many journeys. However no one knows what the sickness is.
    -You have bouts of sickness every once in a while, these usually deprive your character from leaving the home for a good week or two. It is best if the character found a caretaker and got it diagnosed but it has never been severe enough to cause you a major heartache.

Pickpocketing:
The character is a dipper or tooler, a graduate of the fingersmith's art. pickpockets operate throughout the metropolises and towns throughout the world. The most accomplished are specialists that hone their techniques over a lifetime. A tooler may have developed his talents alone on the street or through apprenticeship to a senior thief. pickpockets may operate alone or in teams. Most move frequently to avoid detection and rely on duffers, or fences, to sell the goods in order to avoid arousing the suspicion of pawning the items personally.
Nat is Apt at Pickpocketing: Crowds, Drunks and small groups.
Nat is Apt at Stealing: Money, wallets and small arms.

Escapology
A character skilled in this art may be able to effect seemingly miraculous escapes from handcuffs, straight-jackets, and even steel boxes, sometimes all at once. The escape artist is familiar with all manner of knots and rope work. With practice, the character becomes adept at dislocating joints and bending limbs to slip free of his bonds. Most escape artists also learn something of lock picking.

Gambling
Gambling measures a character's ability to calculate odds and count cards. A character possessing this skill is adept at many games of chance. The character knows the strategies of the game and how to use them to win big. Failing that, the character may also use this skill to cheat.

Shadow
The character knows how to make his way through the streets without calling attention to himself. He knows how to observe a subject while on the move, how to the shadows to avoid detection, utilize probable short cuts, and keep a safe distance to avoid suspicion.

Forgery
Forgery is a time-consuming and laborious process requiring specialized tools and supplies. A character with this skill has the keen eyes and powerful attention span required to forge documents, checks, currency, and seals. The forger also knows the best places to pass off fake currency and checks to avoid detection. A character skilled in forgery is able to examine documents and compare handwriting to determine if they are legitimate. It is, of course, easier to forge a document if the character has an original to work from. Otherwise, he will have to work from memory.
Forging a seal or reproducing a letter or note requires the proper materials, and an hour or more of time.

Climbing
The ability of the character to scale and climb up objects and structures. A character with this skill possesses the finger strength and chakra focus to cling to and scale steep surfaces.
Abilities:
Slide drop – the character is able to nimbly slide down the surface of an object and does not have to waste time climbing down.
Stealth climbing – the character does not suffer a penalty to stealth when attempting to climb something.
Fast climb – the character can climb things quicker without chakra then with it.

Leaping
The character is well rehearsed in all manner of jumps, flips, falls and leaps, a character with this skill possesses the grace and coordination to safety preform dangerous jumps, leaps, and other aerial acrobatics.

Crash Dive – The character is an expert at surviving falls
Climbing jump – the character can jump between two walls springing themselves up.
Silent Jump – The character is skilled at moving silently and does not suffer a stealth penalty when jumping

Description:Utilizing a characters superior acrobatic and balance, he is able to do some pretty neat stuff. Some basics of this once this jutsu is activated is extreme percision, able to jump from something to another something without falling, another is his ability to balance on the thinnist of objects, more would be balance on his hands instead of his feet, basic acrobatics as well like back flips, front flips, hand springs and jumps, all combined is what gives this jutsu its valued ability.

If paying close enough attention to the finger position on his hands, you would be able to notice and the genjutsu would be dispelled, otherwise you would have to Kai.

Origin: Stolen off of an assassin by Nat and his friends. Kept them instead of selling them.

Appearance: A hand-made knife kept behind Nat's boot. It is a simple leather handle that matches his shoes, it is small enough to be hidden up a sleeve. It is a simple metal rod with three prongs jutting outward, it is meant to stab into someone and run when they aren't looking.
Special Abilities/Characteristics: Almost impossible to pull out of flesh.
Origin: Made while one of his many days sitting in a prison cell before he became the master thief that he is today.

Appearance: A chain with 3 small metal balls attached to the ends, it is in the shape of a triangle when laid out flat. It is used to throw at an opponents legs and trip them, unlike normal wire it cannot be removed via an "escape technique" due to the minuscule amount of chakra in it.
Special Abilities/Characteristics: Cannot be removed via "escape technique" or Nawanuke no Jutsu - Escaping Skill.
Origin: Taken from a Foreign merchants guard when his friends were distracting him. Kept it.

Name: Sling

Appearance: A small leather pouch used to hurl rocks.
Special Abilities/Characteristics: N/A
Origin: Given to him as a young child, Nat has had so much practice with this weapon that he can hit a target 50 yards away with his eyes blind-folded.

Name: Professor Penworths Metaloid Projector
Quantity: 1
Rank: C
Appearance: A long metal pole hollowed out attached to a wooden end. Small 'trigger' and lock. It is roughly 3 feet long in total.
Special Abilities/Characteristics: This weapon is quite confusing, you first take a small pre-made ball of iron wrapped in an exploding note and push it down the hollowed end. Then pushing chakra into the exploding note, the iron ball is projected out of the pole at very fast speeds. This is quite inaccurate. This takes 1 post to reload and is limited to 5 shots during an topic before the pole gets too hot and risks breaking. It is hard to find round spheres to put into it, so Nat only has 4 shots currently.
Origin: Professor Penworth is an interesting man, he developed this weapon in Snow Country, as well as many of Snow Countries advanced technology. He developed it in a completely different way then Nat's use. It was sent on display into Kiri as a potential weapon. Nat got greedy, enough said. This is one of the reasons he was placed into Jail for a short period of time.


Name: Ellisande (The Rose of the Sun)

Type: Great Bow
Element: Wind
Special abilities: Ellisande is made by a very strong wooden frame, then using special quick drying cement, metal is applied to it, making it quite hard to bend, but it also makes it able to block the brute force of a full swing of a sword. Due to the repeated use the metal has become more and more flexible until eventually it is like a normal bow, with maybe a little extra pull, however it still shows its strength in its ability to block attacks. There are also two small blades on each side of the bow, making it able to be swung as a weapon ineffectively without proper training, but with the correct training it could be a brutal ranged and close ranged weapon.

Fokkusu no Hansha (FH) is known widely for its purely flexiblity in combat. It is used mainly as a reflective style, meaning it is used for counter-attacks and defensive techniques.It is well known that most street thieves use it for a quick get-away. It uses concentrated bursts of speeds at vital points in time working best with Wind and Lightning style Ninja and worst with Earth and Water style ninja. Its stance is one foot placed in front of the other, main arm or most profound hand placed in front of the face, with weapon flipped so the blade is coming out from beneath the pinky, held a good distance from their body. The other hand is placed low near their hip, weapon held in the same fashion. Right foot if your right handed or left foot if your left handed is pointed forward and placed forward in the stance, while the opposite foot is placed with inner foot bent inward. The back foot is used as a spring to fly counter-attacks at the opponent, while the front foot is used as a trick style, normally keeps position unless preforming a faint.

Background Information

    History:

    Departure Hymn
    Nobody can go back and start a new beginning,
    but anyone can start today and make a new ending.

    Nat's Birth was expected and praised, he was a new member of the Cauthon Clan and due to the few members of the actual clan it was a great ceremony. Well it was for everyone except his mother who suffered through 13 hours of labor. At last Nat was free as a scrawny newborn, celebration was held for the tiny baby weighing only 5 pounds, 2 ounces. He was cared for carefully and much more then needed, because of his frail body many people thought he would get injured. However he maintained a healthy life-style and managed to be fine up until he first years of freedom from his mother. The first years he was outside the house and out to meet new people he quickly learned to be the person he is. He joined the 'rejects' crowd and he began to disassociate from his family as best he could. His friends liked him for the fact but his parents became untrustworthy of him and decided to take measures into their own hands. They forbid him to leave the house without permission and know exactly where he was going at all times, Which usually he lied about anyway. So his father began to teach him the tools of the Cauthon Clan. Most of the Cauthon clan were poor farmers so they had to get money and goods through... "other ways." But even with the training and the limits, he still managed to get into bad things all the time. He was constantly brought home intoxicated or drug induced by the police.

    The Raikage believed he could solve the problem by enrolling Nat into the Academy, it would be good to the clan as well. Would teach him discipline and put a Cauthon member through the Academy for the first time in quite a few years. Nat was dissatisfied with it and doubted it would help, but his parents insisted so he decided he would play their little game for a bit. He packed his things and set off for the Academy, half prepared to go home in a week or two.

    Chamber the Cartridge

    that way all your surprises will be pleasant ones.

    Nat's Academy days were constantly spent doing Tasks that he didn't wish to do. He was always getting into trouble and doing the exact opposite as what the instructors told him to do. This is when he began to steal more and more often. Many times he had stolen straight off the instructor and he had not noticed until Nat returned whatever he had stolen the next day with a clever remark. Like "You should watch your pockets more often." He gained most of the weapons and items he now uses today as well. His biggest accomplishment being Pensworth's Metal Projector.

    It all began when Pensworth and his crew were heading down from the Snow Village claiming to have a new technology that could "Change the Course of Fighting forever." Nat was interested and went to explore and saw it, Glass case in front of a man, Pensworth, who was talking about it. He snuck around behind the stage and chilled there for a few minutes. Then when the speech was over there was a short recess and the weapon was taken off stage, at this point Nat played his tricks, fooled the two guards into looking at some chicks for a minute while he jacked the Weapon and made a run for it. He managed to escape but he was later arrested for a short period of time, and made his Shank.

    After 3 long years of the Academy, failing, getting into more trouble they finally gave up with him and just shoved him onto the Genin rank. He had a few clan jutsu now but still was not the best "Ninja", he lacked many Ninja like traits, he was a troublemaker, dishonorable, a coward and most of all, a pick pocket and a petty thief. He was frowned upon by his clan and his instructors, the only people who managed to keep him alive were his small group of friends who got a kick out of everything he did.

    The Unforgiven
    Sometimes, pain is all that lets you know you're alive.

    Nats first year as a genin was pretty much just as bad as his Academy years, he was still getting into trouble, stealing, making fun and being a class a Jerk. His few friends remained with him through it all though. He learned more of the Clan techniques and got better at them; but his dad has just about given up on him becoming an honorable member of the Cauthon clan and his mother doesn't speak to him unless he asks her a question first. Its a dysfunctional family; all there is too it pretty much. Nat continues his life as a.. "ninja" to some extent, but is quickly becoming more trouble then he's worth.

    Role-Play Sample:
    Balmung walked up to an Inn door and pushed it open, A man moved up and stopped Balmung. "Sorry Sir there isn't any more room here tonight!" Balmung rose a brow as the Innkeeper moved towards him with a smile, pushing the boy out of the way.

    "No need Dese. He's a known guest." The Inn keeper said, "Haven't seen you in a while Balmung. You're not looking so good, come in I'll have a room and a hot bath set up for you right away. Times have been hard here so it might be a minute, the whole long winter has brought a ton of farmers in from the fields and are staying here- why look at me, rambling while you stand out in the cold, Come in come in!" The Inn keeper said motioning Balmung in, the two entered through the door and Balmung's armored foot stepped heavily on the wooden floor. The same sullen look was held on his face.

    A few seconds later a man appeared and began to lead him down a hallway attempting to get some news out of him Balmung asked several questions but the man couldn't put two words together other then "Your accent is funny." All questions were gone as he entered the bath, several copper tubs sat around a tiled floor tilted towards the middle where a drain was and around the pots were large towels, a bar of soap and a fire with a black kettle full of hot water. Ara, the guide, began to fill a tub and Balmung shooed him off with a hand gesture saying he could take it from here. Despite Ara's protests he left the room and Balmung closed the door behind him, shedding his armor and clothing and filling a tub. The water was hot and he slipped into the tub, steamy water encircling him. No noise was heard from the room other then the occasional sigh from joints relaxing and what seemed a everlasting chill to Balmung's bones dispersed from his body.

    After an hour or so of soaking Balmung dried off and adorned new clothing that was left on a stool when he wasn't looking. He buttoned up the shirt and stretched his arms stepping out of the misty room into the hallway, the cold hit him pretty quick but the smell of food and sake filled the air as he stepped into the common room, a large crowd of people sat inside laughing and quietly chattering about themselves. He rolled up his sleeves to his forearms. He wears a simple blue coat which reaches down to about thigh length, it splits at his waist to cover each leg. Its collar is usually popped and has many holes and buckles in the collar in case its cold, allowing him to button it up so it covers most of his lower face. It also has a hood which is simple a blue. He also wore long cargo pants that are tan, also full of pockets and a belt that is also tan. He wears simple black socks and white sneakers with three blue stripes along the side, which match his coat's color. He has two plain silver rings on his left ear and no other jewelry.

The character is a coward. He breaks under pressure. Never fights when flight is an option, and tends to pull the covers over his head at night. While this may be a perfectly sane reaction to life in the ninja world, it is hardly in keeping with the Ninja stiff upper lip.

Reckless
You lack the emotion of fear. Unfortunately, it is often an important cue that keeps men from doing foolhardy things. Sure, you don't flinch at the sight of even the most hideous monster, but neither do you feel the need to run away when outclassed.

-You have bouts of sickness every once in a while, these usually deprive your character from leaving the home for a good week or two. It is best if the character found a caretaker and got it diagnosed but it has never been severe enough to cause you a major heartache.

Symptoms: Comatose, personality switches, seizures, twitches, trembling, soreness.

That's just for starters. You have too many Jutsu, and most of them can be done without the use of a jutsu. So, tone that down as well.
