| Name: the Seahorse Rank: C Type: Ship Natural Abilities: The Seahorse is a finely crafted sailing vessel. Being little more than a pleasure craft for seagoing voyages, the Seahorse has no weapons of its own. It is primarily a sailing vessel, with a main mast supporting a large mainsail, as well as two smaller jib sails. The main mast provides most of the ships impressive propulsion, while a secondary smaller mast is positioned towards the rear of the ship. The secondary mast holds a smaller stay sail which can be positioned to assist with the ships maneuverability in the ocean. Over all the ship is 32 feet long and about 15 feet wide. It has a draft of 7 feet and enough ballast to make it sturdy and sure in even a bad storm. Though it is primarily a sailing vessel, it has a back up steam engine capable of slow and steady travel.
The small ship has enough deck space to hold about 30 people comfortable, though it has seating for only 15. It has enough storage space to support 10 people on a 3 month voyage, but only enough beds for eight people. It is primarily a traveling vessel with long voyages across open sea in mind.
From top to bottom, the ship features a spacious and open deck. The wheelhouse is covered by a roof and protected by windows, and has a pair of benches behind it. The deck house consumes a third of the boat sitting between both masts. The wheelhouse is water tight and protected by tempered glass windows. Inside of the wheelhouse is the ships wheel and pair of benches. The open deck space in the front of the ship has a hatch leading down into the cargo hold.
Stairs leading down from the back of the wheel house lead to the first level beneath the deck. Here there is a sitting room with benches, a table, and some chairs. There are two small closet sized rooms off of the sitting room, each holding two comfortable cots in a bunk bed type style. Through the larger door sits the kitchen and pantry, as well as a large water cistern, and stove. Beyond the kitchen are the captain’s quarters, with much more comfortable living quarters. The captain’s room has a larger cot, as well as a desk and a couch, but not much more beyond that.
The hold takes up the front half of the ship and can be accessed via a set of stairs leading downwards from the kitchen. The third level is small and cramped, and little more than a hallway leading to the ship’s sizable hold. Several tons of merchandise can be stored in the ship’s hold, and is easier unloaded through the large hatch on the top deck. The rear third of the bottom deck also contains the ships boiler and engine room, with a small, back up, steam powered engine. There’s enough coal in the holds for about a week of continued use.
Background:
The Seahorse is about ten years old, but has been well maintained and is still in tip-top shape. Saya purchased the small ship as her first investment for pursuing her dreams of easier travel. The size of the vessel allows Saya to make use of the captains quarters and galley as her own private living space, and she keeps it anchored a little off shore near the Kiri port. The boat is a mostly basic ship with few extra features, but after she purchased it, Saya did make a few changes.
After she got the ship home she replaced the worn sails with brand new sheets, and hung up a new flag. Saya proudly flies the colors of Kiri, as well as the four waves on her flag. She had the hull repainted and resealed in a deep and dark blue, better matching the color of water at night. Her ship is not made for stealth, though, and on the horizon her bright white sails are easy enough to see.

| Hmmm... just add history on how you obtained/built the boat and this should be fine. |
