Yoroi Kaguya

The Graveyard mountain, a place Yoroi had called home for fourteen years before making his way from it to the hidden leaf village. The entire place had always been nice and calm, some of the good things about nature it still held on to. This was one of the leading reasons as to why Yoroi often came to the place to meditate and think about the past, the present and the future. The hidden leaf was simply too crowded and noisy for the young man to do any real meditation, so making his way to this place was both a short vacation, leave of absence or whatever one would call it and a return to his former home. Seeing that Kaien was still very much alive and doing well while watching over his former home, he even saw the family of rats he had once saved in the hidden leaf village. Aside from the peregrine falcon not killing the rats, both the bird of prey and the rats all seemed to be doing really well. Not far from his former home there was a river that lead out into a waterfall, which in turn ran into a large basin in which Yoroi used to bathe himself in the morning, afternoon or whenever he really felt like it. The closer he got, the closer the sound of rushing water got, the river finally being in sight. Starting to run, the young man built up some of his extremely large amounts of speed before leaping from the side of the river and unto a large rock formation that stood in the center. Surrounded by forest on either side of the river, the was never a lot of wind sweeping around the place, though that hardly mattered at days like these. Sitting himself down on the flattest piece of rock he could find, it allowed him to sit out of the wind's reach, in turn meaning that his scent would not be carried on and warn wild animals of his location. Aside from that, he would not get cold as he closed his eyes and locked his feet in a meditational seat.

Shortly after his meeting with Uriko Nagase, Yoroi had been given a lot of things to think about. Aside from giving him the means to work out his own version of Iryo Ninjutsu, the way she lived had more or less inspired him. Though he did not have any intention of becoming a Missing Nin or go back to living on his own again, there was something that left a mark on him. She was really strong and did not need to rely on anyone else, having herself and her power going for her. She was like Kimiko in a way, the both of them being very strong as individual fighters, though the difference between them was that Kimiko was fighting for others while Uriko was just fighting for herself. At the time, he had been treated like a child that was still ignorant to the bad things that happened around him, as well as the bad things that were still to come. Was he still the weak little kid that had lost to Kimiko Katsumi in the past without her even having to try, the one that had almost lost his life to an old shinobi who controlled corpses and had the power to eradicate the young kaguya with a flick from his fingers. In most cases, people believed he at least had a fair amount of power due to him being the brother of Konohagakure’s Sennin, Kimiko, though some did not think of him to be strong at all. There was more to it than just that though, for there had been people like Masaki Saitou that doubted the entire thing, doubting that he was even Kimiko’s brother at all. Seeing as he was supposedly a close friend to his sister, he did not know anything about who he was, commending him only for his physical prowess. This had always been the case with people, they only saw the power he held yet missed the fact that there was a person behind all of it. Though he had gradually been coming to terms with all of this, there was only so much a person could handle before feeling like a total outcast in the eyes of the people that are supposedly under his protection.

Toshiro had called him a freak of nature that had abnormal powers, mentioning that there was nothing normal about him or his power. Maybe it was true that his power was not as normal as the things other people could do, though that did not mean that he himself was a freak. For a long time, this had been bothering him a great deal, though that had faded and strengthened his pool of ever growing anger. When Uriko Nagase had told him about how ignorant he was about the things that went on in the world, when she called him but a mere shinobi or a Kaguya, he had felt a certain amount of anger inside of him. This same anger came back up when Saitou spoke to him about not believing that he was Kimiko’s sister and that he was obviously boasting about his abilities. The fact that people did not believe that he was strong was one thing, though the fact that that people believed him to be a mere child that held power he should not be having was a lot more annoying. Remaining stoic on the outside, his anger kept growing stronger and stronger to the point where it had started to resonate with his very chakra. When his aggression levels grew, it seemed that his chakra reacted to it and grew more restless as well. Of all the things he had felt throughout his life, his rage was one of the most pure feelings he had ever experienced, though it was also one of the most dark and harmful ones by far. If he was not careful with it, rage was what could consume him and leave nothing of his old self. It had happened to many fighters in the world of shinobi, people getting so caught up in their own anger and spite that they turn it on the few people that still care about them, even going as far as to kill their own fellow villagers. It was this that should never happen to him, for if it did, he knew that the lives of his loved ones were in danger too. As a Kaguya, he was prone to having fits of rage, though this was all among the stuff he needed to endure if he wanted to become a better shinobi and person.

The ascension to the rank of Sennin meant that Yoroi could be pardoned for a lot of things, though it also meant that he had to fill some sort role model thing as well. After all, he had various students and kids that were either his age or slightly younger that wanted to become stronger than they were now. While some just wanted to become physically stronger like Isha Inuzuka and Shiromaru Akimichi, people like Mana Nakotsumi just wanted to gain some mental stability to prepare them for the world outside of the village walls. Whether he had done the right thing when he told the children that they had to learn to get rid of their fear or wield it as a weapon in battle, he had given them his advice, so what they wanted to do with it was entirely up to them. He could only hope that they did not take his words the wrong way and get their asses handed to them on the battlefield because of it. Words carried a strange form of power with them, so the way one formulated such words could have one hell of a powerful effect one a person. Opening his eyes, he looked out across the river that tumbled across the ledge a couple hundred meters ahead of him. Sitting on a small rock formation in the center of the river, Yoroi had just been meditating on his life and the things that had currently been going on for him. Every time Yoroi met new people, they always gave him a lot to think about, though some did so more than others could. It went without saying that the difference between meeting a citizen and meeting a wanted criminal that was ranked as an S class in the Bingo book was quite grand. Though the difference was big, that did not mean that one person meant more to him than the other did, though that much was already a given with Yoroi. He was not much of a people person and never would be, for he was pretty much the exact opposite of his sister in most aspects. Whether she would accept him to fulfill any real spots if she ever did become Hokage, Yoroi wanted to act as her right hand when she did get to that point. He loved his sister more than anything, meaning he could not let her take on the mantle of guardian of the hidden leaf all alone. Getting up from his seated position, he slapped some of the dust off of his slacks and grinned a bit.

No, if Kimiko was to become Hokage, he would become her right hand no matter what. No other person was qualified for such a thing anyway, seeing as he was the only other Sennin in the village and the only one that really knew her, the other person being Toshiro. Even though his meditation had already stopped, there was still so much left to think about that it made his brain spin inside of his skull. Putting this line of thought to a stop, there were much more challenging things ahead of him that had to be handled before he could help anyone. First of all, he had to help himself in furthering his own training to become a sage, taking the teachings of the Hakuja sennin and putting it to use. Yoroi had already been picked to become the next sage, though he did not even know the meaning behind such things due to the elder snake not being willing to really explain it to him. All he knew was that if he was going to become an actual sage, he would have to leave the hidden leaf village for the Ryuchi Caverns. It went without saying that this was something he simply could not do, though he still wanted to learn a thing or two. Rising up, he leaped from the rock formation to the side of the river. Following the way the river was running, the young Kaguya walked all the way until the river stopped. Standing at a valley not too far from the village hidden in the leaves, Yoroi looked out across the woodlands from the top of it all. Standing next to a large waterfall, the crashing water that fell down into the river below was loud enough to bother anyone that had come for the sole purpose of finding some rest. Yoroi had come for two things, but now that he had finished his meditation, there was only so much that remained to be done. As a part of his sage training, Yoroi had to learn to respect the elements in their rawest form, which was why he had come to the waterfall. Watching the water move through the river, it always went on to erode the earth as it passed by it, even though earth beat water on the elemental chart, showing that there was no such thing as one element being more powerful than the other by default.

Dropping himself down from the ledge, he built up a lot of speed as the white haired youth flew through the air towards the basin at the foot of the waterfall. Rushing through the air, his body crashed into the water below with a loud thump, sending the water up in an explosion of moisture. While a normal human would be bruised all over after such a fall, Yoroi’s sturdy kaguya body was hardly sore at all. Rising back from the depths of the basin towards the surface, the young man climbed out onto it as if it were a solid substance through the use of his water walking technique. No matter how one looked at it, it always seemed strange to see someone climb onto the surface of water like that. Whenever Yoroi had meditated and managed to get rid of some of the things that ate at him from the inside, he felt empowered. Whether it was actually his chakra growing out to become more powerful or becoming more than it was at first was something he did not know, all he knew was that he was growing stronger as a Shinobi when he dealt with his problems. To check whether what he felt was real or not, he looked up from the basin and up the waterfall, estimating it to be at least twenty meters tall. Forming hand seals in a hasty pace, he inhaled deeply and spat a compressed stream of water from his mouth. Cutting the waterfall from the bottom to the top and repeating the process, he matched his own chakra against two forces of nature, the strength of many gallons of water together with the power of gravity. Slowly but surely, the compressed water sliced a path all the way up to the top, splitting the waterfall in two for a little while. After a while, it seemed that nature had had enough of Yoroi messing around with it, sending all of the water crashing down a large volume of water in a powerful torrent aimed to wash the young shinobi away with the current. One would expect for someone to run out of harms way when such a massive volume of water came to beat ones ass in such an abundant fashion.

Forming a string of hand seals, a secondary blast of water was created right in front of Yoroi, defending him by clashing against the waterfall with an equal amount of force. With a loud roar, water was sent out of the basin and washed over the shrubbery and the rocks that sat along the boundaries of the river and the basin, washing some away while some deeper rooted plants just got a little bath. By the time the torrent of water had died down to nothing but a mist like vapor hanging around the young man, Yoroi felt strangely empowered when he beat a force of nature in power while feeling almost nothing himself. He did not feel drained, he did not feel like he wasted a lot of chakra, it just felt like he had raised an arm and the water just moved on it’s own. Now that his clothes were soaked, there was really no use in lingering around his location for training and meditation, figuring it was high time for him to head back to the village. Hoping that his clothing would dry along the way, he could feel a certain heat emanating from inside of his body. Ever since he had joined the village, he had worked hard on becoming stronger on the inside and on the outside, something that was not an easy task at all. Somehow, the last three years had turned him into the kind of person he wanted to become for quite some time now. That said, he was far from reaching the end of his journey, there was simply too much left for him to do to sit idly by and grow old. His sister still needed him, and with that thought, Yoroi went on his way back to the village hidden in the leaf. The walk home however took several tens of minutes, being more than just the short hike some believed it to be.

Despite being a battle hardened youth, he was still susceptible to common colds if he was exposed to the weather long enough with wet clothing. With cold shivers running up and down his spine like ghastly hands of ice, he decided that it had been enough. Finding a clearing in the forest he passed through, he again sat himself down in the meditative position while weaving seals. Using his Onikashirin technique, small orbs of flame appeared around him, dancing through the air as if they were little spirit whisps. Yoroi had used this technique many times to make people believe that there were actual ghosts on the graveyard mountain, keeping people at bay. Though they were not meant to get too close to his skin in case of receiving burn wounds, it was the only means he had of drying his clothing in a rapid fashion. Closing his eyes, he focused on locating his chakra, causing the orbs to fly close, but not too close. Doing such a thing required a large amount of focus from the young man who had made this as a combat technique and now ended up being used as a chakra based dryer. Sitting inside of a field that emanated warmth, his focus was so solid that none of the burning spheres moved from their designated position, once again proving his determination to see his actions through. After roughly five minutes, the spheres dissipated into thin air, for his clothes had dried up for the most part by now. Now, the walk home would not really be any shorter, but it would at least be a warm and dry one.
