| The Protective Service unit had set up a meeting. Shikari was the last one to enter the room but was on time. He walked in to see the head and assistant of the Protective Service Ninja. Since all shinobi were so busy, it was rather difficult to get face time with the head of the unit. The Nara was certainly happy to see them, showing his respects then taking a seat. The people he sat next to were some of the most veteran shinobi that the Protective Service has to offer. This was either going to be very good news for Shikari or very bad news. The two jonin who were already at the table, were very skeptical of the young shinobi walking towards them. They looked at each other in confusion. "Thank you for being on time guys. I know you’re all busy with a tough schedule but you only have been hand selected for a mission. We know you three are all very capable individuals who bring skills that are required for this particular mission." The two jonin sitting down seemed to praise them and each other’s work. Then they looked at their third partner, they seemed almost embarrassed. They knew Shikari was a very strong young shinobi, but they didn't think he was ready yet. "You three are going to protect a Kumogakure politician. There is going to be a political meeting on the island of Tranquility. You are ensuring his safe arrival back to the village. You three leave tomorrow at noon. Any questions?" The assistant added. The two jonin obviously had questions, but they were never going to question their choices.
A trio of Protective Service shinobi was walking down a highway. The Protective Service unit will provide security for Kumogakure diplomats, and other political officials. Shikari was assigned onto this detail. The young special jonin has had many international experiences, which allowed him to join such a high-risk mission. The other two shinobi on the mission had mixed feelings on Shikari. He was young and was slightly weaker than the other two jonin. Yet, Shikari brings something to the table that the other two jonin can't. The genius has international experience and has been internationally recognized. The two other jonin are polar opposites to the Nara. The two other jonin were much older, short hair, and not as smart. The young special jonin also has a special trait, sensory. Shikari was in charge of any hostile targets coming within range. Pressure weighed down on his shoulders but he will not let that slow him down. There was a lot for Shikari to prove during this mission. He felt like if he deemed himself worthy, he will receive a well-deserved promotion. Reaching the official rank of jonin is only a milestone in his life.
The four men have already crossed the sea on a boat. During this tour of the mission, Shikari was taking lead. He set his position in front of the politician. The two other jonin were on each side of the politician, emerging in conversation. The three will rotate positions after so many miles. Since they were already so close, the youngest shinobi will keep lead until arrival. All eyes were on him, even when he wasn't in the lead. He felt like he was being severely underestimated but the only way to prove that he is worthy by showcasing his abilities. The four managed to travel fast and were a day ahead of schedule. Which was thanks to Shikaris time management, and navigation skills. He was already showing himself worthy. Hotels were easily accessible and maintaining a low profile was very easy for these specialized shinobi. The night came easy with one of the three shionbi rotating night watch. So far, Shikari has been holding up his end of the deal. The morning came quick and the sun was bright. There was a nice breeze that brought the sweet sea scent. The politician and his entourage walked out of the hotel, never was there a time that the politician wasn't being guarded.
They only had a few blocks to reach the hall. They swiftly walked down the blocks to reach the hall. Shikari took many notes about his surroundings and all the charka signatures around him. He easily could tell that he was playing with the big boys now. It seemed that almost all of the attending shinobi had more charka than him. Some even seemed monstrous and he could sense many other sensor shinobi. He was really excited though; his boss deemed him worthy. This was going to be fun though and if a fight broke out, then people were going to die. Hopefully it won't be the politician he is protecting. All the shinobi there were sent for a reason, they all are protecting someone who is targeted by someone. The four walked through the hall and entered the gigantic auditorium. Shikari arrived alongside his protective target. The huge conference hall already held other politicians from all over the world, including minor nations. Shikari eyed all the other diplomats and bodyguards and was being examined himself. Everyone wanted to seem strong and the best and that were obvious.
All the bodyguards looked everywhere at all times. Even a baby could feel the tension in the air. It seemed like everybody was ready to pounce on each other. Then one of his teammates spoke..."Stay clam...Rookie." |

| Let it...
All...
Begin...
Each footstep was like a land mark. Each tapping noise caused more and more heads to turn with time, slowly killing the whispering murmur of the meeting halls. Yes of course he could feel it. The bitter tension which erupted from the mixture of those from numerous nations. The petty fear which he had no real sympathy for. Curved lips shaped themselves into a slender smile, not unlike that of a hunting snake. He could smell the odor of anxiety among those in the next room. Yet he kept walking, his pace unharmed by the caught up motor of emotions which whirled about him in bright colors.
His steps were long and graceful, quickly moving him out of the shadow and into the brightly lit auditorium. Unlike the others, he did not require a set of bodyguards. He presented himself as a politician - whose skills were deadly both in the political games, and outside of what was naturally legal. The whispers cut out as he walked across the stage located at the front of the room. All eyes were on him, like beating, black orbs. His smile had not yet fallen from his face. Blonde hair fell about his head at mid length, straight, with a slight wave. Eyes like the deep and pure depths of the ocean looked out and met the gaze of numerous watchers, only to send them shooting away from such exposure. It was as if he looked through each and every member of the convention. A small group began cheering, a group not from the Water Nation. Another group followed suit and began following. Quickly, more groups tagged along, beginning their appraisal of the Mizukage. His expression did not change as the noise began to fire away. Clapping and shouting in support of the powerful man. Only some truly understood the rarity of seeing the man this close up. It was rare that he ever showed his face even among friends, much less in front of numerous other nations.
His body was covered in royal looking robes, setting him apart from the common rabble and shinobi like dress of those below him. Every inch of his anatomy was stunning, his skin looking as if it were tinted with gold flecks. The top of his chest showed through the V necked Kimono garbs, offering only the slightest bit of his bare torso for the begging sea of eyes before him. Strong collar bones anchored him, and ran parallel to the razor edge of his jawline. Among the clamor of the auspicious cacophony, his eyes looked for one group in particular. The members of another great nation, Kumogakure. It did not take him long before his stabbing, icy eyes found what he was looking for. Quickly scanning the politician, and the other two body guards, he finally met eyes with the Nara. His smile curved a bit more, both threateningly and comfortingly.
Raising his hand, the crowd began to stop their noise until silence once again prevailed over the shinobi and political ambassadors. Lips fell back into normality as he looked out. "Take a second." He spoke simply, letting his thoughts hang. He did not need a speaker to speak into, his voice was loud enough as it were; the art of such speech was a natural part of his actor's arsenal. No one from the crowd spoke, each awaiting the answer to his cliff hanger. "Is this not how it should naturally be? Men and women from each nation, and each small village gathered together?" As if just now realizing that this was the case, he saw bunches of heads turning together, as if to examine and identify who was from where, and take in that they were all existing there, together. Nodding heads and agreeing voices prodded him on.
"However." His voice spoke with the low purr of manhood, a tone which was low but appealing to all ears. Like a song being sung, the other simply listened and enjoyed. "I did not come here to speak about unity in that sense. Instead, I've come to talk about progress; progress which may stir a sense of unfamiliarity and confusion in some, while assuring the continued peace of mind in others." He taunted them with the information, hanging it before them and wagging it back and forth so as to tantalize their senses. Stunning and scrambling them with his onslaught of other tricks and charms. "We all know, I am sure, about the happenings of recent events. Unease among the villages has caused unneeded restlessness. For awhile, we sat at the brink of war. Thankfully, we are no longer forced to exist in such a state, however this does not mean action must cease to be taken. Rather, the fallout of such a global state still reaches out to us all, and grabs us at the core." Now, there was no speaking. Only an uneasy and completely mesmerized audience. "I thank you all for coming here tonight, despite the evident risk. It is on this day that the structure of the Great Nations is thrown out of balance as we knew it, and shifted into a new, much more perfect state." As he spoke, he looked directly to the Nara who he had summoned forth indirectly, his smile curving as if to make it clear that his repeated gaze was not by chance, but out of reason.
He continued. "Recently, Mizu no Kuni's Daimyo underwent a near lethal attack which only missed the mark of his life by dumbfounded luck. Even so, the political species of the Daimyo is becoming a rare breed it seems, and ours no longer wanted to be associated with his own kind. Dropping the role, however, meant giving such power to someone else. It was an obvious choice - granting the power onto me." Instantly, an explosion of whispers began erupting. It was, without a doubt, a heavy controversy. This much was painfully obvious. It meant that, not only was the structure of the five great nations changing, but that now Kirigakure's Mizukage had full political power over the entirely of his nation. It was underrepresented. Yet the biggest changes were often those that broke tradition. "The purpose of this gathering was to share such news; Kirigakure no longer deals simply with the Mizukage - such a title is now incomplete. Instead, I will become Mizu no Kuni's first Emperor; Mizu no Kōtei." At first there was silence, broken into cracks by whispering. However, within seconds of his pause, the groups had re-aligned and raised their voice in supporting cheers. He could have announced anything to the idiotic humans which stumbled about below him. His ways were far superior to the word games most played in order to gain them political favor.
"With me, I have a collection of Kirigakure's, and Mizu no Kuni's new acting political body. Each represents a different function of our new government, and each will explain the changes being made, as well as what this means for all of you." The cheering continued over his voice, though he was most certainly heard. He was sure that most were uncertain of what it was they were throwing their headlong support into, but it meant no difference to them. Before such untalented mortals, his mere presence was enough to bend the mind and convince his subjects of what needed to be convinced. "I will use this power to continue to reach out and help those who need it, in the effort of drowning the Bloody Mist's previous name and re creating it to be a village which is not known for its vicious ways and savage traditions. Already, my democratic methods have brought peace within the village. It is not a matter of bringing peace to those outside of my walls." The cheering exploded, mostly lead by the politicians hailing from smaller nations - those which could certainly use the support of such a large nation. Though, even the others gathered along, in full support of Inoshi's confident victory over the system. His allure was like thick alcohol, intoxicating those present and slurring their minds.
"I would like to introduce to you all, the new heads of this growing nation. The new figures who shall be a part of this change filled movement with me. The woman who climbed aboard for such a moral change as that which Kirigakure has slipped through. The first member of Kirigakure's democratic council, and the person in charge of running and facilitating each and every medical practice in Kirigakure today - Kirigakure's Tsurino of the Kaguya clan!" Thunderous applause. But Inoshi was hardly interested in that. Instead, he let his real voice trickle else where. Through the minds of those he wanted, like a snake, until he was able to connect himself with the Nara boy opposite him. Speaking through the link of minds, Inoshi's slithering vocals would sound from within the boy's head, feeling as if the Mizukage's smothering presence was thrown onto the boy all at once. Those who had even the smallest inkling of power hunger would fall victim to his musky aura. Grow hungry for his words, his mind, his physical perfection. He was not someone defined by physical gender, or orientation based appeal. He was simply the feeling itself.
"Find a way to break free of this room, boy. We have a lot to speak about, you and I." The voice was feel as though it freely perused the boy's inner depths, discovering his secrets, and groping at his darkest desires. "You have your future waiting for you." It was only then that he left, knowing the boy would follow.

| A wave of erotic feelings and thought crept into the body of the tall shinobi. Quickly, he noticed that other sensor shinobi had felt the same sensation. He heard quick footsteps that were creeping into his very location. Others than heard it and started to freeze with some sort of fear. Shikari could feel the tension within the room. The tension wasn’t of anger or heat but more of lust. The Nara felt it too, but he could also notice what was happening. As the footsteps came closer, the shinobi seemed less controllable. He noticed women biting their lips and clinching their skin. Male shinobi placed their hands in front of their pelvic region to hide a hidden message. Shikari himself had to cover up but he made himself less noticeable. Breathing slowly, slower his heart rate, he needed to reach his normal body state. The man was revealed as he walked through the door, seemed like everyone had exploded. The urges seemed unbearable, eyes stared daggers at his chest. Hoping for more than just a simple tease. Shikari couldn’t have possibly been weakening by lust. Lust of a man, there must be more to this! ‘What is going on?’ It was obvious where the source was and it must have been some sort of ninjutsu or genjutsu. Then he took an obvious closer look and did some background history. ‘…The Mizukage?’ Along with his features, ‘…Yamanaka.’ It could have been a mass ninjutsu, ruling the thought of a genjutsu because he would be able to sense or notice it. He took a closer look at him, examining. He was very good looking, but Shikari would never pop a blood vessel for any man, perhaps he was much more than that?
He had to make a mental map and access the notes in his mind. There was no way that he was going to let a Yamanaka outwit him. Though he would give him applause since the Nara was having such a struggle. His focus was slowly hindered by the thunderous applause given by the surrounding members of the room. Shikari slowly joined in, yet it was obvious he was focused on something much more important. The genius took note to every movement, than his heart froze. His stomach turned and his spine tingled. The hairs on the back of his neck harden, straight, like his male organ. The two most handsome eyes locked and it was obvious to see who won the battle. A smile broke out on his face, mimicking the smile that he received. ‘Am...I blushing?’ His body slowly started to recover; the drug was still very potent for those who were aware. His eyes sharpened, looking closing, he might have had a breakthrough. The few other sensor shinobi were showing signs of reacting much more than any other one else. The female sensor seemed like she was going to need a new pair of pants. The genius focused in and harnessed all information giving from the Mizukage. He did feel how the closer the Mizukage got, then the more he felt. He could even feel it when the Mizukage isn’t in the room. ‘Could it be…his charka?’ There is no possible way to hide any secrets from a dynamic shinobi who is so perceptive, a strategist and a sensor shinobi. The Mizukage has a very different kind of charka type. He had to look very deep and perceive his sharp eyes into his charka.
Words spoke out of the mouth of the Mizukage but the contents ran through a filter. Only important information will be processed into the mind of Shikari. Few more words spilled out of the handsome mouth. Shikari easily processed the words while trying to decipher the code in his charka. Slowly Shikari was becoming less immune because he was more aware. Though he wasn’t entirely immune. Guilty pleasures could easily flood his mind if it weren’t for the dam he had set up. The barricade gave him a slight advantage. Sure, he did have thoughts that he questioned and could act on impulse but that seemed unlikely for him. While searching through his mental database…his mental server froze. His jaw dropped and then slowly…his senses were flooded with cheers and applaud. Few stood in awe and shock; those seemed to be the more analytical. The few who could see into the future and see the corruption that could unfold. ‘…Mizu…no Kōtei?’ Shikari decreased down his critical thinking and started to pay more attention to the new emperor. Making typical use of his time, stating what he will do and why he is capable to do. Shikari could easily see through the disguise of the words but most people aren’t like Shikari. Though, he knew out to outcast himself so he would participate within the speech.
- “It is not a matter of bringing peace to those outside of my walls." “Hmmm.” Rubbing his chin, he wanted to make sure everyone heard and remembered that. Moments later, the announcement of the first council member was spoken. “pfft…how typical, a Kaguya.”
Petrified…he heard the emperor in his head. He did not act shocked, almost as if he was expecting it. Though he was truly shocked, but he knew what was happening. He kept his cool, he was known for his composure. No way was he going to like a fangirl. It appeared that he was important and he knew…it was his time to shine. Though, he certainly forgot about two things. His mission, he was sent to kill someone. The murder must wait, the emperor is vastly more important. But what could he want? 'He knows everything I am thinking.' He gave a nod to his comrades. They must have thought he was going towards the target but he was going towards the voice in his head. Either he was going crazy in love and lust, or he was unfolding the greatest thing to happen to him. Whatever the reason may be, he was going to follow the emperor. There was no use to attempt to even try to communicate with him mentally, he was just going to have to follow his directions and see what the deal is. Not like he would be able to turn down a deal with the Mizu No Kōtei. He rushed out of the room, managing to be one of the first out. The only option was for him to follow the charka. The devilishly handsome shinobi had a devilish hope…perhaps they were going to his chamber?

| And yet it was so simple. Each and every moment that he stood in place, the collective mind of the audience became more and more distracted. It was the feeling of having each and every belief torn away from your body, and cast aside. His aura corroded wills, and shattered each and every support individuals built themselves on, addicting them to the feeling of inner chaos. Forbidden, yet forever wanted desires. Like a powerful drug, the toxicity of which being powerful enough to rip through most any defense, sedated those present, collapsing their beings and redefining them to be simple followers. Applause here. Support here. The rhythm was easy enough to follow to Inoshi, being able to carve out just how the human mind worked. His oceanic eyes washed over those before him, standing above them as it should be. The lights and movement seemed to all happen in slow motion, his slithering smile beginning to grow across his face slowly. The others would not see the truth. Would not see his lethal intent, nor the power that they offered him out of simply being caught up in his appeal. It was a chaos which he controlled skillfully, tugging at rebellion and change within an individual.
A second set of foot steps introduced the second figure, a woman of much more strict conduct than the edgy and seductive man. Though, while different, she was of a similar caliber. Beauty rode each and every curve of her body, a majestic and striking, abstract beauty clinging to her in the form of a deeper wisdom. A moral wisdom. Morality with sharp teeth which Inoshi could use to bite in his place. He had seen the woman at her work. Her caring smile was just as real as Inoshi's own, which was to say that it was merely a part of the woman. Even so, the presence of the Kaguya added to the overall stimulation of the room, further digging out the most basic desire and instincts of both men and women - in different ways. Jealousy ravished the room, females staring at her without contempt, yet stunned by their envy. Able to stand next to the blonde wonder, and hold her own without being dragged to her knees by the urges created by the Yamanaka. Fully dressed in official attire, the woman bowed both to the audience of politicians, as well as to her Mizukage, and Emperor. Inoshi nodded in response, before beginning his exit of the stage.
Another burst of cheering exploded in protest of the man's leaving. It was without reason, entirely. The proud Kaguya woman stood there in wait, having grown used to the man'd effect, and being one of the only people able to resist that particular urge - at least, on the surface. Though, her own reaction to his toxic energy was deeper. More sentimental, and meaningful than pure lust. Leaving, and entering the series of well furnished rooms, Inoshi quickly moved through the maze like building. Each section was obviously the product of massive wealth. Tables made of thick marble, or granite. Couches made of the finest materials, and in intricate designs. The walls were decorated with paintings easily worth their weight in gold. Chairs and desks carved from stone and wood alike, with intricate art sewn into place on them. Of course, to Inoshi, such things were trivial. Simply his way of live. He was used to such overwhelming wealth. Shadows gripped to most of the rooms, as they were cast into darkness.
His senses became alert to the noise of another being approaching. He knew exactly who it was. Letting the seductive vibe of his chakra pulsate through his body, the man clung to the shadows, filling the room with the sweet scent of complete, utter stimulation. It would be enough to shatter most all guards and defenses, and bend even the most proud and powerful to their knees before the majestic ruler of the water. The emperor of his new nation. He knew about the Nara boy through various files and data he had collected over the years. The boy had proven himself to be someone of skill, though Inoshi was not interested in that. He was not searching for a powerful gun to add to his arsenal, instead, he wanted another set of eyes. More importantly than the boy's abilities on the battlefield, Inoshi was interested in collecting another individual who was capable for thinking for themselves, and conducting themselves officially. The Nara had access to most anywhere he wanted to go, and was respected as a patriotic shinobi of the Clouds. With this anonymous appeal, Inoshi could infiltrate and gather information on most all enemies he would be forced to face down the line.
Walking through the arch like door, and into the same room as Inoshi, the Nara wandered as if caught up by the powerful, enticing scent. His senses were surely scattered, Inoshi's smile stretching across his face unlike what he had shown before. This was his real smile. The deadly smile which sent most into a cowardly panic. Yet, now he had sunk his teeth into the boy. As he entered the room, Inoshi watched the boy's mind work. It seemed as if a moment's silence cleared the room of confusion for just a moment. The quiet before a storm. And then he pounced, like a tidal wave of seductive emotion. Like a forced, yet wanted arousal, he emerged from the shadows, his step making only a slight noise. But even this was enough to alert the Nara boy, sponsoring his sudden turn in Inoshi's direction. Inoshi was already upon him, however, his static presence reaching out and shocking the boy with tendrils of rebellious, chaotic excitement. It was the feeling of pure power injected into you, and made to run a course through your veins.
As he had done before, so he did it again, reaching out with his mind in order to create a link between himself and the Nara boy. It was a link that only worked one way, allowing him to enter the boy and force his dominance through such an entrance. Probe around, and grab at whatever he wanted. The mind was the most fragile when forced into submission by another, much more powerful presence. "And so you came, boy." He said, his voice trailing and echoing through the dark haired male's cranium like the mysterious chant of something all to powerful to properly contain. Something that was without a cure, or proper antidote. The vaccine for such a sickeningly addictive poison was non existent, seeing as it drew upon a human's basic instinctual nature. Chaos. War. Power. Leadership. Seduction. Reproduction. It was what built a human. "I'm glad. I wish to have word with you." As he spoke, he came closer, surging his presence upon the boy so as to back him up against a wall, his back hitting it and stopping him abruptly, letting Inoshi fall upon him. His hand raised, finger driving into the Nara's chest as if to point at him. "Describe the feeling to me, Shikari of the Nara. Surely you've noticed it, boy. Tell me what leaves you so undone that you might follow the invitation of someone you know not." His voice sounded as if were taunting the younger male, undoing him, and ripping at his seems. As he stepped closer, his words came out with a slowed, lower tone. "Tell me what it is you're hoping for. What it is that lay, stretched out, at the bottom of your mind, locked away by nothing more than a fleeting will." As he spoke, the fingers which pinned the Nara against the wall spread out and raised, brushing against him until they were brought up to the boy's throat, resting just around his adam's apple. The sensation of his touch was electric, as if purging any possible resistance. Like a climax of swirling colors, and hues which rendered most all useless to fighting against his will. He held no malicious intent, it was simply dominance. His head turned down, eyes slowly falling to the boy's arousal before looking back into his eyes, a victorious look written about expression; it was an obvious gesture to let the Nara fully know of Inoshi's triumph. |

| veryone who wasn't as skilled as Shikari would have found himself in some trouble. The interweaving hallways and pointless entry points made navigating in the framework difficult. It was easy to maintain the targeted location but getting to the location has become rather tedious. Quickly, Shikari was able to find the pattern between the halls and the walls. Being a retired courier shinobi, there was no surprise that he could adapt so quickly. 'He should be in here.' His right hand on the door handle. He could feel his aura, and his body responding to the new emperor. Struggling to even open the door, he could easily leave and avoid all this. It felt like it was all too much, for the first time in his life, Shikari felt anxious. His heart pounded out of his chest, his hand trembled, shaking the handle. Remembering back to strong words of wisdom, words that have helped him before. Words that spark courage, the words he tells himself when he is troubled. 'I am not a pansy!' The very words bounced around his head, enforcing itself in the cranium and embedded itself within the brain. A smirk arose on the sumptuously elegant face of the Nara.
Clenching the handle, he spun it with confidence. Opening the door, he had no idea what was going to happen, but he will support anything needed from him. A light chuckle came out of the boy, another false door. He could feel charka radiating in the room, “DAMN!” The very mission was casted upon his mind once more. It was difficult for him to remember the mission, since this seemed crucial. With haste, the Nara turned his body. His fancy footwork meant that his legs dictate which direction he moves. His lower body would reach an area before his upper body did. The tall shinobi was heard to tumble over, his strength and balance allowed him to keep his feet under him. Though, when he turned, he felt something. There was something deep in his heart, made out of complete impulse, a very warm sensual feeling. His eyes followed, petrified. He found himself staring into the deep sea, the beautiful waves and sun beaming light onto the bright blues. He imagined the eyes looking back towards him felt something too, he only wished for such an idea. His legs felt like there were only centimeters apart, if not touching. His face was merely a few inches away. There was nothing to describe such feeling.
His knees were weak and trembling but he tried not to show it. His stomach was uneasy and his heart thundered. His blood pumped and he felt sudden desires. Goosebumps were trivalent and his skin seemed to lose a couple shades of tone. Words started to ramble around in his head, another Yamanaka trick. Shikari was certainly surprised that the emperor would want a private audience with him. He knew he was sexy, but he couldn’t imagine himself being that sexy. The boy took several steps back; the oncoming emperor forced him upon a wall. The lower back of Shikari was tingling, a new desire.
"Describe the feeling to me, Shikari of the Nara. Surely you've noticed it, boy. Tell me what leaves you so undone that you might follow the invitation of someone you know not."
His eyes widened and his impulses were being restrained. The ability to fight back was palpable. His strong heart never allowed him to lose or give up. He had some sort of fire in the furnace. ‘…How did he know who I am?’ He was left gasping, choking on his words. He had no idea what to say. ‘What was the real reason behind this?’ Searching his mental database for only a few seconds before his systems were override once more.
"Tell me what it is you're hoping for. What it is that lay, stretched out, at the bottom of your mind, locked away by nothing more than a fleeting will."
Eyes closed on the Nara, then he took a breath out. He was ready and he was okay with this, this isn’t a defeat after all. Shikari leaned his face towards the Mizukage. He placed his right hand around the neck of the emperor and his left hand on the hip. He kissed with such passion and enjoyment; he could taste the very sweet sensations. Even with just one kiss, he was left satisfied. Though his heart desired more…His body pulsated, there was no gap in between them. Shikari could feel every muscle on the Mizu no Kotei. The Nara could feel the touch of the Yamanaka on his chest and neck, and then his eyes opened.
‘Did I just dream that? Did I really just dream that? Damn it Shikari! You’re supposed to fight! Not give in, you pansy!’ Words trickled through his head. “Well sir, you called me and as an Allied Shinobi, I answer all calls. I do not live my life for myself; I live my life to help those whom desire my help and needs. Sir, what are your hopes for me?” He knew that any wrong word could end up in death, having such a fuzzy conscience he didn’t really know exactly what he said. Hopefully he won’t die though and hopefully he doesn’t anger the new emperor. Out of respect, he was willing to do anything for the emperor…anything. Hopefully, he would hear the words he wants to hear and not the words he ‘desire’ to hear. ‘I need to make an antidote for his charka effect.’ |

| Those who amused Inoshi were those often accepted at first. Later, they would require something much more substantial to so much as move about freely. Results. However, it never hurt to amuse the Blonde lord. His movements had been sharp in cornering the dark haired, younger male, his presence looming over his quivering target as if to break him and glue him into place. However, Inoshi did nothing. His face held no emotion, only a breezing analyzation. However, the mood did not remain in this innocent state. His effect, his perfume, was too toxic for the other to resist at such close proximity. Where he was victim to each and every sensual pleasure Inoshi had to offer. The naturally clean musk which smelled of essential oils. The focused purr of his voice as he spoke in lower tones, and the intellectual conversational style. Something not entirely normal, nor human.
Hands wrapped around Inoshi's body, and pulled the young Nara closer. His glazed over eyes seemed to aim for one thing only, lips embracing Inoshi's own. Inoshi made no hesitant reaction, nor did he act as if he enjoyed it. His eyes lowered, and then closed slowly as if to hold in laughter. Though he did not pull back, and waited for the other to pull away first. It was not many that were able to actually go through with their urges, too conflicted with the fearful image he portrayed, and the earth shaking power he emitted. His command of the room was a tool of his, just as any jutsu or speech craft. As he pulled away, Inoshi's mouth formed into a smile, eyes opening. He looked, yes, amused. However it was not a pure amusement. Rather, amusement mixed with a spicy arrogance. Though even the smile left his face as he stepped back. He had accomplished what he had come for, the other male was already under the potent effects of his drug like euphoria. His smile became wider as Shikari introduced himself, without actually speaking his name. He spoke of himself as an Allied Shinobi, a term Inoshi knew, and had already pinned to the Nara long before this meeting. It was an old custom which was used in times of peace after wars between nations. An honorary title which depicted the honored to be a shinobi which served as a bond of peace between both nations, while belonging to his home. It was a title that, while not commonly given out nor accepted within Kirigakure's history, held a great place in some of the more fluffy villages.
However, as Shikari stopped speaking, Inoshi's reply came quickly. Having moved away from him, Inoshi stood close, without being atop his conversational partner. Even so, the Nara would remain pinned against the wall with Inoshi's presence alone, chances were. "I am requesting that you begin answering to all calls at once, through the voice of but one." He sounded abrupt, suddenly serious, and almost threatening. "My call is one which has yet to be called, Nara. One that is in desperate need of calling." His tone remained the same. "I am gathering those of use in order to add to a collection of talents, Shikari. Collecting members of group, and hand picking each component I want brought to the table." Stepping back once more, Shikari's hands would be forced to leave the Mizukage's body and fall back to his sides. "You've built quite the image for yourself, Shikari, and at such a young age. Already acting as an icon of peace among the villages." Of course, by that age, Inoshi had already taken the head position of his clan, and began his time as the third Mizukage of the Mist. But he knew there would be no point in comparison from the beginning. "I could use someone with such a pure reputation as your own. Talents, and potential like that of which you possess are not something often found amongst such rubble as this." He gestured back towards the meeting hall he had just left, in reference to the clustered politicians and their shinobi guard dogs. "Surely you must agree that an Allied Shinobi, such as yourself, should take a larger role in humanity's course than that of a baby sitter, summoned and commanded to watch over such a drooling presence as these husks of flesh you all brought here." Again, he was talking about the others in the room which both had just left, his hand motioning in their direction and his eyes following in a slow, disgusted looking drag. Though, he meant something bigger. "While you're more than welcome to say no, and leave the very same way you entered, I think it clear to us both that you were meant for something more than this, Shikari." Looking back, straight into Shikari's eyes.
"I mean to make more than a ripple in this world. I mean to make a tidal wave." |

| A quick response came from the blonde politician. It seemed, the words sounded like a request but the one sounded like a demand. The room was filled with tense suspension.
"I am gathering those of use in order to add to a collection of talents, Shikari. Collecting members of group, and hand picking each component I want brought to the table." 'I am hand-picked by the emperor of a foreign country?' It seemed strange, dark and a variety of reasons drifted in his head, either good or bad. 'There seemed to be so many much more stronger ones at the meeting.' He knew he was smart and strong and had a lot of potential but to invest such power in a single upcoming shinobi was fairly risky. He knew he was special but he must have had something extremely precious to be picked over more much-seasoned shinobi. Praise from the Mizu no Kotei was certainly honorable and delicate. Though it was strange how he realized that his own Raikage has never spoken a word to him about his progression and success, especially at such a youthful age. The compliments made him lift his shoulders and stand with more pride. Then he nodded in agreement. He has an allied shinobi, not a babysitter and he didn't like to be a murderer. "While you're more than welcome to say no, and leave the very same way you entered, I think it clear to us both that you were meant for something more than this, Shikari."
The words started to run around in his head, but he wasn't entirely sure what he was agreeing to. All he knew was that he was offered a position to work with the emperor of the Water Country. He wasn't sure what he was going to have to do and he wasn't sure whom else he was going to be working with. He could only assume that they were of the same caliber. Perhaps Shikari would be turned into security detail, he was certain that he would be cleared of upcoming missions since this seemed to take the pie. 'Why does everyone speak in riddles?' It only made things more difficult and less clear. Everyone always tried to stay mysterious and hide in the shadows, something Shikari was not fond of because the shadows were his. He IS the mysterious one and people invade his shadows to reside in them. Every kage, every high-ranking official has spoken to him in riddles. Shikari lives in riddles; he can solve and see right through them. With a few seconds to think, he had a good idea of what he was going to be doing with the new emperor. He assumed he was going to have to take several roles within the group and it seems like a low key group. If the emperor wanted to speak behind closed doors, it must have been small and secretive.
Of course the Nara was nervous. He took a big gulp before he spoke, with the additional pressures of saying something wrong. Of course he was given the option to say no, but that really wasn't a choice. If any emperor asks something of Shikari, then Shikari would have too, since there saying no to an emperor does not exist. The Yamanaka could recruit anyone he wanted without fear of rejection; his pool of candidates is the world. To say no to such a position could literally mean shinobi career suicide... or make a hero. The hero route is much more complex along with variables out of anyone’s control, the chances are slim. It was a tough life but as a shinobi he could overcome anything. His eyes looked deep into the Yamanakas eyes. “Of course, Mizu no Kotei. It would be an honor to serve with you.” He said with a bow, wondering how serious this commitment was going to be. The Nara knew that much power was going to come towards his way; he was going to have to work hard to grasp. The Nara would have to work even harder to maintain purity; he knew how easy it was to become corrupt. To become evil, his very clan faced it everyday. A clan that touched shadows everyday, it was easy to get lost in the depths of their own ninjutsu. It was a challenge and a burden that all Nara had to face, a recurring problem with no real answer. He only started to imagine the power that can come from the Mizu no Kotei and the things that the two could accomplish. He wondered if he was going to spend much time out at sea, this was something that he truly adored and would have no problem with. The very dream to cast sail in the open sea, plundering vessels and sinking enemy ships. 'Captain Nara...Captain Shikari.' He was very quick to romanticize things and often over play them, but they were fun ideas in his head. He never shut down the ideas though, he was always glad that there some even some hope that he might to be able to play the part.
Shikari stood tall with a devilishly smirk. “Now, shall we get started?” |

| His response was a smile.
That was it. Nothing more.
His pace continued, pushing itself forward towards the boy, pressing him outward and into the center of the room. Like a spider lurking around its food, he wrapped the webs of his ever so toxic aura around the boy, trapping his mind within the inner chaos. Finding justification for Inoshi's offer, the Nara pledged himself to his new emperor. The new lord; one whose orders would be followed without question, yet whose rewards are great. Circling around the Nara, Inoshi moved, extending a single arm in the direction of the brunette, and touching him on the shoulder. "Do not be hasty, Shikari. You're image is the prime weapon of choice for this, should you wish to see it through properly." Inoshi started, his voice was gruff, and seemed to purr as it slid out. "You are no longer a shinobi of united nations as you once were. Your duties are much more important now." He spoke as though he was growing more and more enthusiastic. This was where the fun was for Inoshi. Planting the seeds within those fertile enough to hold them, nurture them, and let them bloom into flowers or trees of all kinds. "Our target is the system, the whole structure itself. The great nations, the division, the wars and combat, all in desperation which is caused by one another. That is the enemy; humanity's greatest weakness." Inoshi built his speech up, before suddenly cutting out into a silent suspense. "That is why you offer the gift of your image, one who is but an agent of all nations equally. One who appears for the betterment of your kin, despite the truth; that you face the very shadow you ultimately fight."
By this time, Inoshi had already moved around the younger male's location, his fingers leaving their contact on the Nara's shoulder, and dripping their seductive venom onto Shikari's mental state. By now he faced the boy directly, his eyes looking deeply into the Nara's own. "I chose you out of that crowd because I guessed your talent. I am actively making a bet, and you're what I am gambling. As far as you're concerned, the outcome has yet to be unveiled. First, you will have to prove your use to me. While guessing someone's talent's are high is comforting, I want to see real results first hand. I need to know that I can count on you to make the changes that are in need of making." Inoshi sucked a breath inward slowly, letting it fill his lungs. "Go to Konohagakure no Sato, you will be welcomed there. I need you to unveil the powers that be within. Kirigakure no Sato and Konohagakure no Sato were never very close, nor did they much ever interact with one another. We were separated because of our differing lengths of morality, and chose not to tread near each other for fear of what we would see on the other side. Because of this, I do not have much information on their acting leaders. I can pick up bits and pieces, enough to distinguish them, and shine a light on their weaknesses. But you can change that. You will become my floodlight, and reveal the secrets which guard that village. I want to know of their weapons, the shinobi they will call upon in tough times. I want to know about them, how they move, how they tick, and what makes them unique. You need not worry about bringing me back your proof. While your weapon is your image, mine is the mind itself; I will find proof from within you upon your returns to me. Should you prove to be worthy of investment, you will be able to experience the extreme advantages that come with joining the winning side."
Inoshi broke his gaze, turning his back to the Nara, and releasing him from the grip his energy had held. "You are not to speak about this meeting, and you are to remain acting normal. You are now at a higher level of clearance than most all members of society, and you are not to spill information which is classified." The sentence sounded as if broken off and incomplete, only to be fulfilled by his addition of "our conversations are considered classified." Flipping back around in order to face Shikari, Inoshi sighed, his thoughts returning to the sea of politicians awaiting his return. "You will return to your place, at the side of Kumogakure no Sato's representative. I will deal with your other task myself; consider your target already canceled. You have a new goal laid out in front of you, one which leads to greater things to come. I wonder how well you'll do at surviving the test of time until then, young Shikari."
"Any questions?" |

| The words came out of his mouth, his alligence has changed...and just like that so has his life. The few words that can drastically change the life of a shinobi. His identity was not tainted but if he was ever caught, he could easily become one of the most wanted rouge shinobi. He knew how it worked, many bounty hunter shinobi would come after him and he would be able to live in peace. He might manage to lose his identity and hide from all situations but that would mean giving up his shinobi life and going into exile. He would be brand as the most pathetic, coward that the world could offer. However, he did see this as a promotion. He knew that he would soon have a lot of power and if he kept his alliance to the emperor, he would be safe. Though the very idea of what he was doing...was heartbreaking. His conflicted feelings prevented himself from thinking that he turned rogue. He blinded himself by making it an order from the Allied Shinobi, to follow orders. This was a simple order that needed to be followed, even if he didn't want to.
The emperor then started to speak of his objectives, his goals. The very reason why Shikari was chosen, the reason why the new empire will strike with a flurry of critical strikes. He started to feel the ability to make the change in the world, something that he truly wanted. Many shinobi could see the power that Shikari could hold, but many did not grant him the ability to use it. He felt ignored in the shinobi world; he needed someone to give him a grand chance. A chance to put his name to use, rather than simply being a bragging tool. Kumogakure was using the young Nara as a paperweight, holding down the most important documents. He was the most important paperweight but the all, but he was only a paperweight and he knew it. He knew exactly what Kumogakure was doing it him, which would the prime factor why he left that village. With The Allied Shinobi, he became someone. People wanted him in audience, in company. His skill set was in-demand and very much in use. Now he finally had the chance, he desired, he craved for. The idea wasn't exactly what he wanted, but he would seize the moment, seize the day that will one day make him far greater.
Eyes peered into the eyes of the Nara. His sexual thirst was meet. The poisonous aura became very conscious to Shikari, he knew it was there. He was slowly training himself to become immune. Resisting the sexual tension slowly became easier to Shikari, something that took a lot of will power. He would feel the speech wrap around him, wrestling with him. His objective was easy, something that he could easily achieve. Being such a genius, there was nothing that he couldn't do. The only thing that he didn't like but understood was that he didn't have recognition in Kirigakure yet, but he understood he would have to prove himself. Also, he would have to lose his image as a noble shinobi. He also heard word that the target would be taken care of, something that he smiled about. Now he didn't have to worry about making a mess and his mission was already done for him. Shikari could have done the mission, it might have been a struggle but coming up with a foolproof concept is the same. This young Shikari knew that he would do fine, he knew that he would come above all.
Shikari didn't have many questions to ask since he could easily answer most questions himself. He had a great snipe which could travel over long distances very fast, to keep them in communication. There was a few risks running the bird as a messenger but he knew that the telepathic communication Yamanaka technique has a range and could only be initiated from the Yamanaka. Shikari truly wanted one thing, a place where he can call home when he loses his images. At one point weather it be years from now, he will lose his image and he knew that. He wanted a place where he could call home that was mobile, where he could lay and rest. A place that could be ran and protected by very useful shinobi. His heart belong to the sea, perhaps he could start drawing some blueprints. He smiled towards his new boss as he finished. The shadow coming from the light covered half his face, leaving only his signature devilish grin, "How shall I set sail?"
