I haven't read the manga in probably close to a year and there hasn't been a topic in this board for months. Is the series actually over or has everyone else just stopped reading as well? wuts goin on!?

Well, it's likely due to the fact that you just can't see the forums. And as for the manga, it's still going pretty strong.

Oh, I didn't mean to suggest the forum itself was inactive, just this particular board "The Naruto Chapter Corner." The fact that no one's been posting new threads about the new chapters coming out had me wondering who was actually still reading it.

I think the only person here actually accepting of the direction Naruto's been going is Ishiba. He's looking forward to the supposed Konohamaru manga Kishi will start writing once Naruto ends. At least the anime has an episode or two worth watching every now and again. They expand on certain fight scenes.

Depending on when you stopped reading you might not remember who Obito is. He was the person Kakashi got his Sharingan from but was supposed to be dead. You know...due to half his body being squished into paste by a giant boulder. Through some BS, not fully explained, flashback you learn that Madara saved Obito and convinced him to become Tobi, the masked Akatsuki member who was secretly leader of the bad guys all along~ Despite that he is just getting his own strings pulled by Madara.

I don't read the manga. I only watch the anime because I feel it covers the series in more depth. Although reading all these spoilers has been fascinating and confusing, to say the least. I guess it just gets crazier/stupid from here on out?
