| FLYING BLIND: The woman had arrived at the destined location early in the morning. Really damn early in the morning as a matter of fact...most would have even said it was still night as the dusk had not yet started yielding to the sun. Kirima had chosen to go outside of the Kirigakure village in order to gain complete calm and no interruptions from anyone, since her task was going to be quite the taxing one. It had been through a complicated and difficult process which she had decided that it was time to start learning something new, and go outside of her comfort zone. So the young female had gone to the library and started reading up on specialties and how one could keep gaining new ones. It took a lot of willpower, and one had to have at least a little bit of a 'talent' towards the area selected. Now seeing as the red headed Sennin was not really the -thinker- type, she would never have gone with a specialty like Genjutsu or Fuuinjutsu or anything of that sort. She'd probably end up confusing herself and never manage to attain any new knowledge.
She could picture herself trying to throw a Genjutsu move onto someone, and end up capturing herself (if that was even possible), so she quickly skimmed over the pages containing that Specialty whilst giving it a subtle glare. The young woman had always hated being up against Genjutsu users, and quite frankly thought it was a Specialty that should become extinct.
Now, the more she had read up on things and the more she looked deep within herself and what she felt like she was capable of; Kirima settled on the idea of being able to try out Weaponry. As a person whom liked to be on the offensive side and did not enjoy complicated strategies or sneaking around, it seemed like Weaponry would be a perfect match for her. In that case though, she had to decide also on what kind of a weapon to use. Even if Weaponry in itself sounded like the ideal Specialty, that didn't mean Kirima could master just any type of a weapon. It took many days of testing out weapons, talking to blacksmiths, gritting her teeth and groaning out with frustration in order to finally settle on a staff which focused on the mid-range fighting style. The female had tried out a few Katana and knives for the close-range, yet had not quite been able to feel any joy with swinging a blade around. She couldn't get it out of her head that either she'd end up slicing a limb off of herself in a clumsy move, or she'd be at way too much risk at killing another person.
With the long-range category, she had found it pretty much impossible to learn how to shoot from a bow. That task was not exactly suited for a person that could get angered and impatient quickly, and it had been shown very fast with many broken bows and scattered arrrows; along with an angry shop keeper. So the last 'testing area' had been mid-range. Instantly as Kirima had picked up a long staff of around 5 feet, she had nodded to herself. This was something she could use to defend herself with, but she could also use it for offensive combat style. And the best thing about that staff? It had no sharp edges for maiming nor killing. So that had been settled, and she had been quick to scurry out of the store with the new piece of equipment, before the shop keeper had kicked her out for causing such mayhem within his sanctuary.
After having finally picked her weapon, Kirima had tried out a few times to manipulate it (and ended up dropping it on her toes, bashing herself in the head, and filling her hands with splinters) before she had stopped and with a growl thrown the staff to the ground before crossing her arms. If she was to master this.. thing, she would probably be best advised to do it elsewhere than at the training grounds. Just in case if she would literally explode from the rage that had started coursing through her veins when her forehead acquired the third bump.
At the end, that was exactly how she had found herself within the Water Country outside of the village. It did not worry the female overly to be alone out there, as there hadn't been any real sighting of criminals as of late. Plus, she had been ranked up very recently to the prestigious rank of Sennin. Something that was still giving her a bit of a headache and a sense of awe to think about. This was a rank she had never in her life thought she would be able to attain, yet here she was. Nineteen years old, and a Sennin.
The female shook her head slightly before pulling on simple finger-less leather gloves. She was wearing her standard ninja outfit, which consisted of black shorts and a white tank top underneath a black leather jacket, which was quickly shrug off onto the ground before she once again grabbed the staff in her dominant (right) hand. Her ninja boots were kicked lightly against the ground as the fiery haired woman looked the staff over as she tested its weight within her grip. She firmly grasped it with her other hand as well, and stepped forward with her right foot. While letting out a small shout she brought the staff down as if she was smiting an opponent in front of her. The movement felt a bit stiff, even if it had some power behind it, and Kirima was quite sure that she would not be able to really disable anyone with strikes such as that one. So how exactly did one train for a sub-specialty? Was she going to be training out here for days before she would be able to deliver one successful blow?
A soft sigh escaped the female as she took the stance again, before she raised the staff up and brought it down for the second time. It whooshed through the air, before it came to a halt just before striking the ground. Her grip got tighter, almost at the point of her palms starting to ache, and the female repeated this form of 'attack-training' a couple more times. Small beads of sweat were starting to form on her forehead after she had done this non-stop for almost half an hour, as even if she could pride herself on the stamina which had been built up over the years, it was still always tiring to start a new training routine where new muscles were strained and used up to their limits. The staff was leaned against the ground as she wiped the sweat of her forehead, before blowing a few bright red strands of hair from her face.
Man was she going to be sore after this.
Grumbling to herself at the thought, the female stalked up to a lone tree with a new idea forming in her mind, before bracing herself and bringing the staff against the tree trunk with a loud smack. She let out a soft grunt as the wood vibrated painfully within her grip, before her pearly white teeth bit softly onto her lower lip as she repeated the move again and again. Even if she -was- going to be staying out here for days upon days, she -would- master this damn staff. Wood struck wood, and yet again she felt a painful vibrating sensation run up from her palms and through her arms. Either she was holding the staff wrong, or she just had to get used to this uncomfortable sensation. Despite having trained her endurance very thoroughly, there was no real escaping from this slightly tickling/uncomfortable vibration that wanted to let her drop the staff and stalk away from there.
Do I honestly need a mentor or something? The shop keeper suggested it, but I don't think I know anyone who has Weaponry.
Yet again, her teeth worried her lower lip as the female leaned against the battered tree trunk with half closed eyes. Despite not having done hours upon hours of training, she could already feel a few usually unnoticed muscles starting to complain.

| It was still dark. Not that this phased the Nukenin. He had not slept this night anyway. Sleep is for the weak and the man was certainly not this. The man in question was a Kumogakure born, Uchiha clan member. While he had not been asleep Tenshi had certainly been dozing. It was a cold and misty night, as it always was at this time in Kirigakure. Although the morning was coming none of the suns rays had pierced through the layer that constantly hung over this country. He was wearing a new outfit. It was perfect. A black straw hat covered his eyes while a black cloak covered his body. He had bought it for use in combat however the man was just trying it out for the day. Metal armour covered both his chest and shoulders. They were somewhat heavy but at least they offered protection. Under the major body of the uniform was a sleeveless shirt, also black and lightweight trousers which led into reinforced boots. Overall the uniform was perfect for combat and travelling. While it would slow the man down somewhat he was sure that he would get used to the feeling eventually.
He had been walking all night, enjoying his own company. He carried with him a six pack of alcohol, along with scrolls containing some weapons and his ninja kit. After all, as a Nukenin one must always be on his guard. Not that this man particularly needed to now coarry around scrolls with him constantly. Ever since gaining his new rank the man had been received two very special gifts. Two new seals had been painted on his palms. Each one stored a weapon, his most powerful weapons to date. His new favourites. While most would keep their most powerful weapons as final gambits this man enjoyed the power. He would use them whenever he wanted, not save them. The weapons were too good to be kept in storage. Both of them needed a chance to show off. Each Retractable Wrist Blade were in their position and his Gunbai was being used as a walking stick. In other words, Tenshi was armed to the teeth. If anyone decided to pick a fight with the man they would surely reach a sticky ending. Such was the beauty of being a weaponry user. While it would take an A rank jutsu to kill a person, a D rank blade could do it quicker.
The only thing that could make the mans fighting style even better would be Genjutsu, if only there was someone that could teach it to him. While it probably was possible to self teach oneself it more than likely would take decades, if not a lifetime. By which time you would be left wishing that you had gone straight to someone already skilled in the arts. Perhaps someday he would find someone. Someone powerful enough and someone that could teach him well enough so that he could master it at an accelerated rate. That way, not only would he be able to perform genjutsu, but also more of his clan’s signature jutsu. After an in-depth study of some ancient books Tenshi had managed to learn more about the Uchiha. But it had not been enough. Someday soon he would have to leave to go to the clan headquarters in Konohagakure. Only then would he be able to master the hidden arts of one of the most powerful clans in existence.
Carrying on the man wondered the woods outside the Village Hidden in Mist. Tenshi had no idea where he was going or what he was doing. But sooner or later he would find a purpose, he always did. It was as if fate was guiding him, but the man did not believe in fate. It was a stupid idea. However he continued, not slowing down not stopping. Today he was just going to walk, walk until he reached the end of the line. Then he would try and find his way back. It couldn’t be that hard. After all he had a whole day to walk and he mostly remembered the way that Moku had taken him to get there, so many moons ago. As the man walked he cracked open a drink, sliding his hat off his head so that it was around his neck. It was at this time that he heard it. A heavy hitting noise. Like wood striking wood. The Nukenin downed his drink and set off in the direction of the sound.
Walking beneath a canopy of leaves, the sound got louder. Tenshi was moving in the right direction. Normally he would not be distracted by something like this, this was just an excuse for him to do something. He had already got bored with the idea of walking to the end of the island. Flicking his straw hat back over his face Tenshi readied his weapon. Already the sound seemed to be almost on top of him. Yet he still could not see the source. The man did not know what he was expecting to find. Not many things could make such a sound, perhaps a fight was going on. Still, there was no doubt that he would soon find out as it was almost deafening. But then it stopped. Another thunk was heard. Only this one was different. As if something had fallen to the ground. It was a sort of hollow clattering sound as it bounced several times, then stopped. Draining the last of his beers the Nukenin chucked each of the cans away. It was time to confront this noise.
Lighting up a cigarette Tenshi turned around a tree, there she was. The woman with hair the same colour as the lit end of his death stick. He could never forgather. Kirima. Hopefully she had not noticed him. Taking off his hat completely the man held it in his left hand, smoke in the other. Clearing his throat the man bowed.
“Miss Kirima, what would you be doing out at his time? I certainly hope that you have not forgotten who I am.”
Forcing out a warm smile the man waited for her to turn around. Perhaps today was going to turn out to be a lovely time. |

| FLYING BLIND: Blisters were already forming on the insides of her palms, despite the female having already hardened her hands with vigorous training throughout the years. Truly it amazed her to feel and really experience first-hand, how difficult it was to utilize a weapon. A simple staff such as the one she was holding with an iron grip was giving her such a challenge, that the female was actually contemplating on simply snapping it in half before going home to sulk. Yet, that wasn't an option. Not if she wanted to get stronger and more fierce as a Shinobi of Kirigakure. Not that I'd really think anyone would describe me as a fierce one. Her lips were bit together as she brought the staff up above her head once more, before bringing it down swiftly against the tree trunk in front of her. Despite this annoying tingling feeling still traveling up her arms and threatening to make her drop the hold of the wooden staff; she was quickly starting to get a bit more used to it. It wasn't anything unusual that she'd manage to take to things quickly. After all, hard work did bring success, and when one trained their body from the start of their youth and until they had reached a rank such as hers; they were already done reaching a certain stage of being able to surpass the 'normal' people when it came to getting used to new physical strains.
A soft whoosh of the air tickled at her ears as she split it once more with the long wooden staff. The more she was moving it around and getting used to the grip, the more she was thinking if it was heavy enough. Her fear at this point was that she might simply fling it into the air if she was going to do a fierce attack on an opponent. Such a light weapon could prove a bit difficult for a person like Kirima, whom focused on the attacks which were swift and merciless (without any death though). So engrossed was the female in her own thoughts that she failed to notice the fact that she was no longer alone. Instead she stretched her lean and strong body once more as her arms lifted the staff above her head, before she brought it down even more fiercely than before. A small pearl of sweat trickled down her forehead and formed a small path against her well-define cheekbone, before the female halted her movement and wiped swiftly at her face with her arm. Man was she going to be needing a nice warm shower after a few days out here. Suddenly she paused, a small twitch of her nose betrayed the otherwise completely still posture. Was this smoke she could detect in the air?
“Miss Kirima, what would you be doing out at his time? I certainly hope that you have not forgotten who I am.”
The male voice caused the young female to spin around on her heel in order to look at whomever it was that decided to intrude on her training session. What made matters even more curious and slightly perplexing was the fact that this voice, which did not sound very familiar in the least bit, had uttered her name. Her big sapphire colored orbs stared at the male whom stood just a couple of meters away from her. The male was tall and handsome, and slightly familiar now that she was giving him a thorough look-over. The young Sennin tilted her head slightly to the side, as she tried to remember where she had seen this overly captivating face before. Chocolate brown orbs met her own as she kept looking him over in silence, her stance indicating that she was not really feeling overly threatened yet was ready for anything.
Wait a minute.... isn't this the same guy I met that one night? What was his name again?
The staff was leaned against her right shoulder as she thought to herself, trying to remember the meeting back a few months ago. Many things had changed since then, but she truly hoped she had not lost her memory in that short time span. Her eyes trailed over the black cloak the male wore, before resting on the hat which he held in his hand. There was something unusual about him that caused her to feel a bit on the defensive side. What was it that he had said during their last encounter? That he was a psychotic person? If this would be a comic book, a light bulb would have appeared above Kirima's head suddenly. However, instead her features only brightened a bit with a triumphant small smile as she finally remembered the name that had been overly stubborn about popping up.
"Tenshi, right?"
Her pearly white teeth were flashed slightly in that smile, before she returned back to a rather neutral expression. "I'm here for some training as a matter of a fact. Trying to figure out how to beat someone with a stick." A sheepish grin crossed her pretty face whilst she waved the staff a bit around, before curiosity was mirrored within her clear blue eyes. "What about you? I haven't seen you in forever." Even if she seemed to be on the friendly side, it was obvious that she was not going to be going any closer to the male. Approximately six meters or so separated the two, and Kirima intended to keep it that way until she was more sure of him. Even if they had met before without an incident, then it didn't mean she could jump at him for a friendly hug or act as if there was not a reason at all to fear/suspect a man whom had previously claimed to be a psychopath.
She truly couldn't remember from their first encounter if he had actually indicated that he was a Nukenin, but there was little which told her that he was a Shinobi of Kirigakure. Perhaps he was from another village... and perhaps not. This kind of an encounter had always been something she had feared, for obvious reasons in the form of a huge blue cat which resided within her, yet she would not show on the outside that she was feeling a little bit uncomfortable. During her time in Kirigakure, she had done some poker-face training and had made some good process as a matter of a fact.
"Do you remember what you said to me? Was that really the truth, or just a little jest?"
A single eyebrow was shot up on her forehead in a questioning manner as she rushed out the rather blunt and overly honest question. If he could remember that he had in fact confessed to being a psychopath then it would be interesting to hear his answer. Still, despite her question, she did not seem aggressive nor about to take matters into her own hands. Rather, the female looked calm as a cucumber as she waited on his answer. It would be interesting to hear his explanation if he had one. Most people might have gaped in wonder at this question, while wondering just why on earth Kirima was asking a potentially crazy person if they were indeed crazy. Yet the female had always been a very straight forward one, whom liked honesty above all. Despite having been forced to lie a couple of times about what exactly she was.
[OOC: Really sorry for the wait, I will have more time on my hands from now on. x) ]

| She span around, her brilliant bright blue eyes stared back at him, she truly was beautiful. One of the most perfectly formed creatures the man had ever layer eyes upon. Now if she was training with what looked like a Bo staff she was only getting better. It was an interesting weapon of choice. Something he had never completely got his head around but he had indeed always wanted to master it. Especially since he now rarely used his bow. He wanted a spear, a scythe, but unfortunately he doubted that he would ever be able to, it would take too much time and effort to train it to the level that he had gotten to with his blades. That was what he needed now. You could not survive as a Kiken if all his skills were not honed to perfection, which was why he must train his sharingan. Perhaps today would offer the perfect opportunity to do this. Maybe he would be able to train with this woman. As long as she did not hate him. Who knew how the female brain worked? Maybe for some reason she was unsure around him or something along those lines, he would have to try and make her relax. He appeared to be mostly unarmed, with the exception of his gunbai, which could easily be mistook for a walking stick, this was obviously going to be a start. Luckily he had his scrolls on him and his seals. With the arrival of his new weapons he would never be unarmed.
It was best if he was on his guard around this woman, Tenshi could tell that. While she seemed perfect enough he had to always remember that he was a Nukenin and she was a village ninja. If he gave this away he would fall. While she seemed rather harmless if there was one thing that the man had learned it was to always be on your guard and looks can be deceptive. Now would not be a good time to make a fatal error and end the day in hell. As they stood there in silence he could sense her searching him. Her staff rested against her so he did the same with his gunbai. If she wanted to fight him with a C rank weapon then he would more than likely use Purity, or his battle fan.
” "Tenshi, right?”
He smiled, confirming her question.
"I'm here for some training as a matter of a fact. Trying to figure out how to beat someone with a stick. What about you? I haven't seen you in forever.”
Training? So his guess had been correct. Perhaps, if this was the case, he would be able to train with her. It would indeed be fun to fight this woman. And he would be able to use it as an excuse to train his sharingan. Also it could also mean that he was able to train the same thing as she was, after all while the fan of his Gunbai was retracted it was more or less a staff. Maybe, if he did help her, she would feel calmer around him. After which he would always have an ally in this country. More than likely he would leave once his relationship with this woman was established. Hopefully that would be sooner rather than later. After all there was so much still do to and currently he was wasting away his life in this misty land. He still needed to uncover his own secrets. The secrets of his clan and whatever other secret abilities he had.
”Ah, well if you wanted I could help you with that. Given weaponry in general is somewhat of a speciality of mine. I’m not really doing anything. Out on an early morning walk I supposed. I know it has been far too long, you look just as beautiful if you do not mind me saying.”
Tenshi hoped that she would accept the offer of his help. It would certainly be fun. He had not had a proper training spar in eight years. More than likely if it did happen he would go over the top and end up hurting the girl. But hopefully he would be able to have enough self control so that he did not tip into darkness. If only he had not done this eight years previously, maybe he would be a Jonin of Kumogakure by now. But it had, he was here now and he did not want it any other way. After all, there was no use is crying over spilt rice wine.
"Do you remember what you said to me? Was that really the truth, or just a little jest?”
Tenshi had half expected this to come. Anyway, he assumed she was talking about his remark about being psychopathic. Most people would have run for the hills after someone telling them this. But he guessed this woman was not most people. Tenshi straightened up, put his hat on the floor and shrugged off his large coat. Underneath wore a black sleeveless top with black trousers. After moving them to the base of a tree he turned back to the woman.
”What that I am psychopathic? Well that depends, what do you want to hear? If it scares you then no am not and i was only joking. But if it excites you then yes. I am your psychopath.”
As he said this he flashed her a white grin. He did not expect an answer from this. There were a number of things that could happen now. She could run, ask for his help, fight or just shrug and they would continue to talk. Perhaps he would be able to help this along by offering her a tip.
”Ok, if you want to learn how to fight with a staff you need three things. Speed, acrobatics and a good centre of gravity. Once you have these then you more or less have the basics. The best users of your chosen weapon practise blindfolded. Supposedly the masters of the Bo staff blind themselves to train. I am not saying you have to do this. It is also all about being able to sense your way around. After all you do not want to hit yourself. Now, if you want to, I want you to attack me.
As he said this the man threw his staff into the pile and took out a scroll. From it emerged his sword. Ten no Hoshi

She promptly gave the handsome male in front of her a 'don't give me any crap mister' expression as he tried to pay her a compliment. The female had never trusted the sweet words of others, and especially not when people tried to compliment her looks. She did not see anything special about herself, and therefore did not think people should waste time trying to charm her. There was simply no point. He'd have better luck complimenting a rock and then expecting a reply from it. Her expression however did not turn into a hostile one, despite that small look she had given him. Rather, her pearly white teeth started worrying on her lower lip as the female thought over his offer. It was a generous offer, or it was a trap. So should she say aye or nay? Before the female could make up her mind, she would be listening to his answer to her question. She had really been wondering over what he'd say, but it was clear that Tenshi was quite the smooth talker. Usually she couldn't stand those type of people, yet she could feel herself becoming just a tiny bit interested in him as a fellow ninja.
”What that I am psychopathic? Well that depends, what do you want to hear? If it scares you then no am not and i was only joking. But if it excites you then yes. I am your psychopath.”
-My- psychopath? His answer caused a small grin to spread across her lips as her sparkling eyes looked at the male with obvious humour reflected within them.
"Honestly, you'd need to do a bit more than that to scare me. As for the excitement.. ahemm, well I don't really know how that should excite me."
It was a bitch to admit, but he had managed to make her feel a bit awkward. Excitement... did she even know that word properly? She was a novice when it came to dating and any 'excitement', so the female did not really have a chance at replying with a cut-throat comment. So she decided to simply go back to the question if she wanted to train with him or not. Kirima had the feeling that she'd never manage to out-talk that raven haired male, and he'd most probably only make her feel even more awkward and embarrassed if she'd allow things to keep going in that direction. Losing face was not something Kirima liked, and she did not like being teased either.
Now, if you want to, I want you to attack me."
Surprise edged its way into her delicate features, before she let the information sink in. So he was giving her helpful tips, and it seemed like he had made a decision before she could. Oh well. You had to take some chances every once in a while. Again her teeth worried at her lower lip, before the female made her decision. She was going to try and trust this man, at least a bit. She had a very good way of sensing her surroundings with her improved hearing and smelling, and speed was certainly among her best friends. Due to her excessive training with taijutsu through the years had also given her a flexible body. So perhaps she could actually surprise Tenshi a bit with her already existing abilities. But blindfolds? That sounded a bit too.... A small flush crossed her cheeks as she gave the overly good looking male a subtle glare before trying to make her expression non-readable. It would be for his best interest if there was nothing kinky behind that suggestion.
"I might just feel tempted to try out your suggestions. If I manage to hit myself on the head, I will remove the blindfold." A small smirk followed the words, before she gave him a levelled gaze. "I'd appreciate it if you would give me your word that this isn't a trap or anything of the likes. I don't really -respond well- to nasty tricks." It might have been childish of her to ask a Nukenin of all things to give her his word as a gentleman... but oh well. He'd be able to detect the threat behind her words. And he should also be able to see that she was not scared of him, and she was not being fidgety in the slightest bit. Rather the young redhead was calm and confident. Kirima did after all have a huge trump card (literally huge) up her sleeve if things would turn out for the worse. Deciding not to waste any time, she simply ripped off a small piece of her tank top at her waist, and tied that around her eyes. The female then gripped the staff with both of her hands and inhaled slowly through her nose, before exhaling out of her mouth.
Her ears detected many different sounds in the surrounding nature, yet she focused her senses on Tenshi and him only. Her nostrils flared just a bit as she inhaled again, this time getting used to his scent as well as figuring just where it came from. Alright. I can do this. A piece of cake, eh? Her feet dug into the ground, and then she was off. The distance between the two was closed in a matter of a second as the female was at the verge of appearing as a blur with the swift movement. The staff was swung in a blow that was aimed at Tenshi's estimated left side. Kirima listened intently, wondering if he would try and slash at her, or use the flat of his blade to bat the staff away. Perhaps he'd attempt a punch or a kick. Or he might simply evade, and in that case she'd be using her senses to try and track him down again. Either way, she did not care so long as she'd not lose any limbs. Kirima was trained to handle pain, she didn't care about it as long as she'd manage to train what it was she wanted to learn.
