| Little passes unnoticed by the watchful eyes of the Kirigkure Spy Network. The Intel system in place had eyes and ears in all corners of the lands under Kiri’s influence, and their informants were sure to speed word of all invasions and the like directly to the Village hidden in the mist. When the outlandish creature had first boarded the ferry leading to Kiri’s ports, he had already been spotted. It certainly did not help the Suna ninja’s case that he had taken no effort to conceal his voyage.
With the information in hand, Saya’s squad could easily enough keep a tail on their visitor. If he matched his description it only made sense that war should be raging soon, but thus far it didn’t seem to be that way. Because the Suna ninja had done nothing threatening, force wasn’t exactly the best way to deal with this sort of quiet breach of Kirigakure’s borders. While outright hostility didn’t need to be the only option, Saya did need to make it clear that Kirigakure was not the village that tourists took romantic strolls in.
After speaking with her new sensei on the matter of the visitor, they had agreed to both investigate the matter. With Saya eager to confront Kakougan, she had convinced the Jonin to remain in reserve, while Saya played the more active role in approaching the shinobi. Because of this she had taken up her roost now, and was waiting patiently. The landscape surrounding Kiri’s report was full of stinking swamps, crocodiles, and an endless landscape of biting insects and monsters. It was a several hour walk through the forest of fog to reach the hidden village, and the way was not the safest for those who did not know it.
Few common paths wound their way through the dense wood, but some found their way between trees and through thinner fog. The trade routes were the easiest way through the forest, and typically the only way for those who did not know the finer twists and turns of the forest. Saya stands upon the most direct route between the ports and village, patiently awaiting the visitor.
As always she is dressed in her full armor, though she’s left her large spear at home. Beneath her concealing cloak she wears all of her weaponry, and even as she waits her right hand rests on the handle of her sword. Behind her mask her eyes rarely blink. Saya simply stands stoically motionless, and stares down the oncoming path. There was a bend in the curve not far away, and just after that the path was lost in the surrounding fog. The forest was full of large cypress and pine, constantly alive with the noise of birds and frogs, and larger beasts still. In the center of the path, Saya would be impossible to miss.
Somewhere in the woods two of Saya’s allies lurk waiting. They’ve taken up positions on the periphery, and are watching Saya, and waiting as patiently as her. Kusamaru stands perched in the lower branches of a nearby tree, patiently awaiting the start of any action. The bird like monster digs massive claws deeply into a branch to keep a sure grip, and its tail sways slowly up and down to keep it balanced. If anyone wanted there to be some violence it was him. He remains curled up against the trunk of the tree for now, hidden and waiting.

| The world was slowly, but drastically changing. Everywhere you looked, new nations were giving birth, and more shinobi were brought into the world. Newer jutsu were introduced, and legends were brought from their graves back onto the surface of the living world. All of this happened while Kirigakure sat peacefully in the ocean, as its horizon was the coasts of the neighboring nations that could soon, one day, turn against Kiri. Maybe even each other. War seemed inevitable these days, as nations grew greedy and smug of power. As kages became more powerful as they learned more about the world around them. Soon, that greed could cause a war that will effect all shinobi. Hyuuga, Demo; a Jounin of Kirigakure, was not going to sit by while Kiri waded in the newly developing world.
The morning was just as it always was. Gloomy, wet, and peaceful. This was a normal morning in Kirigakure, as the village was known for its misty, rainy, and cloudy weather. Demo was awaken by a small dog barking that belonged to his neighbor next door, but he was used to the dog barking as it basically was his alarm clock. However, he had to wake up early today, as he was going to go relax come the afternoon during the small storm to come in soon. He put on his Jounin jacket, secured his weapon pouches and went on his merry way. By time he was done making sure no one needed help in the village, it would be around twelve o'clock in the evening.
As Demo walked around the village to see if anyone needed help, he noticed in the far off distance that large black clouds were rolling in to bring forth a powerful storm onto Kirigakure. As he watched the clouds pile over one another, he thought about how the sky would be stained with black blood as it roared through the heavens above. It was seconds later that a streak of lightning struck the forest that surrounded Kiri, catching a small tree aflame, but as quick as the lightning struck it, it was charred. Leaves, caught on fire withered on the ground as they were scorched by the intense flames until they were black. Could this be a omen? After standing there for a few moments, he continued on to do his next duty, which was to make sure the posts were up and running like they were supposed to.
The Kirigakure walls were just a few feet larger than his summon, Akasan, who usually did not like being summoned in Kirigakure because he's intimidated by the large walls that tower over him just a bit. Demo bent his legs a bit, and in an instant he jumped from building to building until he reached the post stations. As the time edged towards eight o'clock, Demo tried to avoid conversation with the postmen. The postmen stood there, not noticing him as they watched the horizon that could any moment be invaded by enemies. Demo smiled, swiftly jumped down, and went out the gates towards the Forest of Fog.
Demo did not have any trouble traveling through the forest, as he was a native to the land and new the landscapes very well. As he navigated through the large number of trees, that seemed to be at least fifty feet tall, his eyes darted left to right looking for something. He did this for about an hour until he finally stopped and started laughing a bit. What he was looking for was the place in which he came to relax.
In front of Demo was a very large number of trees, then also there were possibly several different paths. Demo scanned the area, not using the Byakugan as he did not see needing the use of it in his homeland. Quickly, he spotted Saya on one of the smaller trade routes and quickly approached her. As he came closer, he made sure that if any of her summons were out that he made his Kirigakure emblem stand out, so that he would not get a surprise attack put upon him. "Saya, you better be telling the truth when you say a ninja from Suna is coming, and this better not be a fools trick. If any trouble occurs, I will not hesitate to come out, or summon Akasan. Got me?" he said, as he backed away some, hiding in the trees above. He stationed himself behind a large branch by a tree, as he would not be noticed, nor could he be attacked with most weapons from there. He surely was in a safe spot. "Don't get yourself killed..." he thought as he did a couple of hand signs himself, holding the last hand sign and watching her. |

| A day like any other, and Kuro was already ahead of himself. He had been clamped up in his room, cleaning it and removing any waste. He left the window open, ignoring the weather and airing out the room. He quickly ran down to the kitchen, grabbing a snack to find himself in the graveyard. He felt attracted the the peaceful spot, admiring it's aura and how Kuro felt being in it. But it was on of those days where you were off, but kuro didn't seem to mind. He had began wandering around, saying hi to various chunnin and genin he seen. The jounin appeared out and about, and Kuro seemed proud og his village's increased activities. But he feard war was inevitable, and would approch them soon enough.
He felt his waist, then felt his forehead. He realised, that he left his headband at home, probably at home. He didn't mind, he began walking home, before finding himself somewhere else and not at home. He thought for a second before, fixing his hair into a large ponytail and loosening his clothes to add to his, feminine appearance. He noticed the large dinosaur and armour anywhere. Saya. He approched her, and ajusted his voice to sound like a girl. Kuro fixed up pretty well, and with his hair in a pony tail, not looking creepy.
He approched her, acting as a civilian. "Hello there, are you perhaps here to escort me?", he asked in a girl voice. |

| Saya simply ignores the stranger, having no time for idle chatter. She had no escourt mission to worry herself with. "Move along, citizen." she says in a flat monotone, and motions for the stranger to scram. She continues to stare patiently down the oncoming path, waiting for the Suna ninja to appear. She expected him any moment now, but who's to say he didn't stop to smell the flowers? While there aren't many flowers growing along the edges of the paths to Kiri.. there are at least flytraps, and pitcher plants.
She had little time to bother with the local citizens, which were not completely uncommon wandering the path. This being the most direct route, merchants from all over the world could be wandering by at any moment. Saya didn't care about them, either. They could do as they pleased, because Saya already had something to occupy her. This was the first time she'd have been sent to confront a foreign ninja wandering in her lands, and she wanted it to go well.
With Demo and Kusamaru for backup she wasn't worried about a fight starting. Oddly enough, she was going to do her best to avoid that idea. Open war with suna wasn't yet announced as a plan, so she'd do her best to preserve the good standing between the two villages. She ignores further comments from Kuro, not recognizing him for who he is. Kusamaru, on the other hand, just gives him a rather curious look. Cross-dressing didn't fool the sense of smell. |

| It was mid day when Kakougan reached water country and the sun was high in the sky above the swampy and misty forests of Kiri. Though the horn from the boat honked loudly to announce its arrival in Kiri, that wasn’t what woke Kakougan from the nap he had been taking during most of the voyage. What had caused his sudden awaking was the change in the way the air smelt. Instead of getting a pleasant dry feeling when he breathed in through them, he was inhaling too much water with each sniffle and it bothered him. “ Looks like I’m here,” Kakougan yawned as he stood up and stretched. The rest of the passengers were already leaving the boat in a large line so Kakougan simply walked into line and waited until he could take his first actually step into water country. When he finally reached the end of the bridge, Kakougan sighed and stepped into the damp murky land of Kiri, ‘Gross…’ he thought.
Suddenly a voice erupted from Kakougan’s bag and he opened it up to see what it was. As soon as the bag opening, Laikeze emerged from it panting heavily. “ Geez, didn’t you hear me earlier?!” Laikeze squawked and scolded Kakougan. “ Your not even supposed to be here but if you are, make yourself useful and go scout the area.” Kakougan replied to Laikeze rudely. After rolling his eyes, Laikeze listened and flew ahead into the misty forest, leaving Kakougan alone. ‘Well, I guess I’d better get going too. I just have to put my mask on first, wouldn’t want to cause trouble.’ He thought, enjoying the silence without Laikeze ruining it. Reaching into his bag Kakougan pulled out his gas mask and attached it to his face along with a large black cloak that he wrapped around his body. ‘ No need to scare anyone with my appearance.’ Kakougan thought as he began to walk into the marshy forest.
After taking a few steps into the forest, Kakougan stopped again and began to think about Kiri. ‘ Kiri is a very… extreme village. They’d rather attack a traveler before talking. Maybe I should take some precautions, minor precautions.’ He thought, sitting down on a nearby log. After a moment of thought, Kakougan decided that he should Otakebi to observe things from underground just in case there was any conflict. After biting his tongue Kakougan summoned Otakebi, crouch down, and began to pet him. “ Ok boy, I know this terrain is scary but earth is earth and you should have no trouble tunneling through this moist earth when your used to tunneling through stone. Now go underground and only come up when I stamp my feet three times in a row. Make sure its me that’s stomping though, watch yourself.” He said to Otabeki before he nodded and started to tunnel under the ground. “ All right, I guess I’d better get going,” sighed Kakougan.
Continuing to walk, Kakougan started to note all of the noises around him. There were birds of all sorts, smaller mammals, and even some fish throughout the forest path. These sounds were so new to him that he just couldn’t get enough of them. In the desert, the only audible noise was the wind across the sand, but this forest was full of life. ‘ I guess this isn’t so bad,’ Kakougan thought as he continued to stroll through the forest. His stroll stopped abruptly when he came to a clearing with two people standing in it. The first seemed to be an armored statue, most likely a guardian of Kiri. ‘A bit too short to take seriously…’ Kakougan chuckled to himself as his eyes shifted to the next person, ‘ Why the hell is he dressed like that? He must be some sort of queer… or just very ‘happy’,’ He sighed. Not talking, Kakougan reaching inside of his cloak and grabbed his headband. Slowly, he attached the tied the head band around his palm as if it were a brass knuckle and pointed it at the two people. “ I am Kakougan Kaiku of Suna. I have come here to find an old friend of mine, nothing more, nothing less. I have no quarrel with you and you have no reason to assist me, but I am looking for someone named… Kakuhan. I wish to speak with him.” Kakougan said in a stern and loud voice so that he could be heard by anyone in the vicinity. After speaking, Laikeze flew around a tree and came perched himself on Kakougan's shoulder. " Well, I was going to come back and tell you about these two.... but it looks like you already know. Well, good luck with this." Laikeze whispered to Kakougan.

| State your name, and purposes in Kiri.. She'd practiced the line a dozen times. When the large man stepped out of the fog, her eyes narrowed slightly. Her fingers wrapped around the handle of her sword and she prepared herself to speak, but she was beat to the punch. With an admirable sense of directness that touched Saya's heart, the strange delivered what she was going to ask before she could even muster the words. So touched was she, that she almost missed his whole reason to be here. Kakuhan?
"What is your business with Kiri ninjas? I am aware of no treaties with your land, nor reasons why our ninja should be associating with Shinobi of Suna." she asks plainly, her voice a steady and strong monotone. There's no emotion in her voice, this is serious stuff. She speaks just the pair of sentences, and awaits her answer. Inside, the impact of his words hit her a bit more. Her brows knit together with concearn over Kakuhan's sudden disappearance. Was this large man what he was running away from?
Sure he was big and scary looking, but that was no reason to run. Did this hulking monster man come here to kill Kakuhan? Are they really friends? Does he know where Kakuhan is? If he really is Kakuhan's friend, then does he know about the things Kaku did to Saya? Judging his mass, Saya was pretty sure she could take him down. His visage didn't scare her in the least. If anything, it only made Saya want to challenge him even more. But that could wait.
Behind her mask the emotions of her face and eyes are well hidden. She shows nothing but the shining steel image of a snarling demon. It's glaring eyes and snarling mouth don't change their look, no matter the news delivered to Saya. Kakuhan had been her teacher previously, and one who'd made some important changes in her life. She still had a few questions for him herself. Saya keeps her attention focused fully on the man now ahead of her, letting her team mates watch the periphery for her. |

| Kuro remained silent. He was just told to move along, wearing a poor disguise and Saya couldn't look through it. n the other hand, he noticed Kusamaru, who took notice to the silly disguise, or so Kuro thought. He looked around, induced by nothing more than the small of water and how it was ignored. He ignored it too, it held no smell and little taste, and Kuro liked taste. He stood there, questioning why the warrior refused to help someone as innocent as a civilian. He looked at her, questioning her attitude as the day went on. Many to few parties of people entered and left Kiri. But it seemed Saya had been waitig for someone, and he certainly arrived.
He was a Sunagakure shinobi, saying his name was Kakougan Kaiku. He said he was here to find an old friend, but at times like this friends not mattered. Kuro looked at him as he explained he had no quarrel with Saya, with her simply replying about stating his business, etc etc. Kuro stood there, wondering if Saya planned to engage him, and Kuro thought he might have to help her. It's not everyday you allow Sunagakure into your village. |

| A lot of things bothered Kakougan, one of which was excessive questioning. It made his blood boil when he was under even light questioning. In Suna, he was obligated to to be kind to citizens and other ninja alike; that didn't apply here. Going against his instinct of just throwing the same questions right back at the guard, Kakougan simply sighed and put his headband back into his cloak. " Why am I not surprised..." He said to himself as he brought his hand back into view. " Listen... try to be as gentle as possible with this. You have a tendency to blow things out of proportion boy, and you know it." Laikeze whisper to Kakougan before beginning to prune his feathers.
" If you really would like to know, I guess I should tell you that I'm here to.... destroy him! I'm here to crush his bones with my fists! I'm here to break off every one of his fingers and stab him with them! I'm here to jab my fingers into his eye sockets and dismember whats in them! I've come to chop his legs off and then snap them again against a wall splattered with blood! I've come to make his blood run like a river all around Kiri for everyone to see!" Kakougan said in a chant like way as if he were praying. " And then when all of his pieces have been torn apart, I'll put them all together and CRUCIFY HIM!" Kakougan concluded with a screamed while he brought out a cross claymore and stabbed it into the ground in front of him. " In short, I've come here to do battle with him once again. To make sure that he is still up to par and to check on his bond with the Divine One. As long as one has the divine one, everything is good. They shall be strong, they shall be persistent, and they shall never lose. Losing is a sign that you've fallen out of his grace, losing is disgraceful. The Divine One has done nothing but bless me with even more blessings then I deserve. I just hope that Kakuhan can say the same... In The Name of God Impure Souls Of The Living Dead Will Be Banished Into Eternal Damnation... Amen," were Kakougan's final words whispered words on the subject of Kakuhan. " Now that I've told you why I'm here, please let me through.". "You idiot..." Laikeze sighed. |

| As Saya listened to the strangers dialog she couldn't help but smirk. Monstrous though he was, she had her doubts about his abilities. She rolls her eyes quietly as he speaks his intentions with such a dramatic display. She doesn't flinch in the least at the appearance of a weapon, as surely this man was little threat. Saya visibly shakes her head, her head lowering and tipping the masks face towards the ground for a moment. What's with this guy? Does he honestly think he can kill a Kiri Jounin?
Having no orders to engage in a fight, Saya simply steps aside. She'd gained enough information for this encounter, and could see no good reason to bring Kakougan in for questioning. After Kakougan finishes his dialog, Saya simply stands down. She takes a slide to the left, and turns her right side towards Kakougan. "Very good. Put your sword away, and you can go." She says, and lifts her left arm. As she does, the weapons beneath her cloak become a little more visibly. The shadows of her cloak simply glisten with steel blades, and conceal even more weapons still. Her right hand rests naturally on the handle of her sword, prepared to draw it on a moment's notice.
After a moment she adds slightly more, her tone still monotone, loud, and clear. "But if you know Kakuhan at all, you should know none of the things you mentioned will kill him. Keep your weapons hidden, and do not threaten Kiri's citizens... and as you might suspect. We will be watching you." She states, and motions him onwards with a wiggle of her gloved left hand, and a pointing finger. |

| Like a jungle cat, Demo preyed in the blanket of leaves the trees created. His eyes focused very intently on the Suna ninja. "I wonder what he wants.....?" Demo asked himself as he tuned his ears, listening to the conversation below. With a stern, loud voice the ninja replied. " So, his name is Kakougan and he seems to be looking for someone in the village..." he said as his eyes, ever so sharply stared the ninja down. Saya then asked the questions that the post guards would have asked. This is where Demo payed close attention.
After a few moments, he noticed a bird on the shoulder of this man. It didn't look like an ordinary bird, as it had red eyes like an albino. Which, it probably was one. However, the declamation of Kakougan broke the train of thought Demo had on the bird, and he started to listen yet again. Carefully, Demo quietly lowered himself to a lower branch as the ninja talked about crucifying this ninja named, Kakuhan. As he made his way down quietly, he began thinking very quickly. "So he wants to commence in battle with this Kakuhan. Also, apparently wants to kill him at the same time. However, he mentions this, "Divine One" which actually interests me-" , yet again, his train of thought was broken by the response Saya gave him. When she had finished saying that Kiri would be watching him, Demo got a bit excited. Being about ten branches down or so from the ground, he jumped down from the one he was on, heading straight for the ground.
For just a few seconds, he fell through the leaves and small branches, keeping his form. When he reached the ground, he landed feet first. When he landed, the impact of his land created a small indent underneath him, cracking the earth next to him. He had landed with balance, but the shock of the landing made him crouch a bit. As he stood up he said, "Saya, I thought you'd know better than to let some homicidal ninja into the village." he said, shaking his head but all at the same time keeping an eye on the ninja. "I'm sorry, Kakougan. I can not let you pass. If you don't mind, I'll introduce myself," Demo said with a small laugh, but all the more cheery, "I'm Hyuuga, Demo. A Jounin of Kirigakure No Sato." he said, sticking his masculine, strong looking hand out to greet the visitor. "Nice to meet you!" he said with yet, another smile while at the same time keeping his guard. "I can't help but ask, who is this Divine One? Just the sound of this being interests me greatly." he said, looking the ninja straight into his eyes, well, at least where he thought the eyes would be under the mask. |

| Trying to be obedient, Kakougan picked his sword up from the ground and attached it to his belt as he listened to the rest of what the guard had to say. He listened intently until the guard came to the part about killing Kakuhan. As soon as the word kill was mentioned, Kakougan burst out into a fit of hardly laughter with his teeth being shown with every chuckle. " Let me get this straight, you think I want to kill Kakuhan? Aren't you the little comedian. I never mentioned killing nor did I imply killing him. You really have a warped mind don't you? You think I've come here to kill him yet I didn't even mention anything about killing... priceless. I'm not as ignorant as I look you know, I'm aware of what your aware of. More aware I might venture to say. I want to challenge him to check up on his powers, like I said, maybe you don't listen well? Since I've already remarked on your hilarious joke, let me also say that I can't hide my weapons. The body is the strongest weapon a ninja has, I can't possibly hide that now can I?" Kakougan replied as he continued to laugh. Anyone watching Kakougan now would think he were an entirely different person then before due to the sudden change in attitude, but Kakougan didn't really care about impressions.
As Kakougan was about to take a step, yet another guard came down from the trees, ' Wow, didn't see that coming.', he remarked sarcastically to himself. The new ninja seemed to have taken Kakougan too seriously and called him a "maniac". " Great, another guard. Something tells me your getting more then your asking for..." Laikeze whispered to Kakougan before he flew onto a nearby tree. " Well, looks like you've finally decided to come out. I guess I should bring out my hidden ally as well." Kakougan told the patrol of guards as he stomped the ground three times hard enough to rattle the ground around him. A few seconds after stomping the ground, Otabeki emerge a bit behind the new guard and scurried over to Kakougan. As Otabeki ran to him, Kakougan bent down to give him a hug. " Good boy, say hello to the Kiri people." Kakougan coo'd to Otabeki, pointed to the guards. Otabeki turned around slowly and made a loud shriek before crawling behind Kakougan.
" If you really want to know about the Divine One, I shall tell you the basic concept; this isn't the place or time to go in depth about his grace. The Divine One is the creator of all things good and bad, alive or dead. If you have his grace, you desire nothing, you fear nothing, and you need nothing. He is like a cradle for everyone and everything in the world. He will rock and protect you no matter what happens as long as you embrace him and listen to his wise teachings... Amen" Kakougan preached to the newcomer as he continued to pat Otabeki's head. |

| Saya sighs softly behind her mask.. damn old people. She lowers her arm and allows her cloak to fall back into place once more. She takes a few steps away, letting Demo take over the scene. She didn't much care about the Divine One, or whatever. In her opinion, Gods were certainly for the weak willed. Still, Saya says nothing, and lets the two jounin talk. She fades into the background and just waits and listens, hoping Demo will just finish up soon.
As much fun as it was getting to know, and trying to befriend the monstrous, sword wielding strangers from distant lands, Saya simply had no interest in the matter. No, she just wanted Kakougan to be on his way. It's not as though this was going to end up as a fight anyway. Saya considers calling Kusamaru over, but decides it best to simply leave the dinosaur lurking somewhere in the shadows for now. Really, she couldn't be sure what would happen, so she just plays it safe. She glances over towards Kuro, still slightly confused by his outfit, but saying nothing of it.
Like a good little underling, Saya falls in line and just stands there silently. With no orders, she'd just stand idle. With the working plan for diplomacy apparently cast aside, she'd just have to wait and see what happened, and improvise from there. Her right hand still lingers on the handle of her sword, never once leaving its place there. If she needed, Saya could go from calm to deadly in a surprisingly short time. |

| Kuro took notice to the change of events, tighting his clothes and removing the ponytail that was rather annoying to his disbelief. He swore he'd never do that again, and fixed his long, black hair with his right hand while the left one went to work on it's respective sleeve. Senbon, he could feel the cold metal against his hand, and kept hold of the small but very deadly weapons. He glanced over at Saya, knowing she'd no respect for such a small weapon. But eventually, he'd get her to respect all the little things in life. Eventually, the small animals, the smaller, deadlier weapons and such. Kuro felt so silly wearing a disguise as a civilian, so he made sure he looked like himself.
He raised his arm to his mouth, adding a toothpick like object into his mouth. He smiled, trying to brighten up the moment, but looked at everyone's expression then changed his, wondering what Demo and Saya were planning. Sure, Kiri and Suna weren't at war, but they weren't allies either. He wondered, looking at Kakougan. |

| Demo looked around as Kakougan exclaimed that he too had a hidden comrade. Kakougan stomped his foot three times on the ground, all of the sudden a small but over-sized ant came out of the ground. "Interesting...." Demo mumbled under his breath as he returned his hand to his pocket, which at any time could quickly pull out a cold, lethal kunai. As soon as the ant broke the surface, it shrieked and returned to Kakougan as he spoke about, "The Divine One". Demo noted, mentally, the tone that Kakougan used as he spoke about this being. "You can find hints of the respect and praise he has for this being just by the way he talks about him.." he thought to himself as he look at the ninja with a smile. "Well, this Divine One seems like a very powerful, but well respected person. Maybe in time I too, will come to respect this being. As I have lost a lot of hope and faith in many things. Sometimes, I doubt myself.." he said as he looked over at Saya as she walked away. Without even looking Demo said, "It looks like you came to take a look see too, Kuro." he said while shaking his head as returned his gaze onto Kakougan. "Sorry for calling you a maniac, however, I'm not to sure this Kakuhan even is present in the village. You see, like I said, I too am a Jounin of Kirigakure, and sadly, I have not heard of a Kakuhan nor met one." he said while he turned his eyes to the sky that hovered over all the shinobi lands. "I also apologize for my two genin. They seem to have taken you a bit to seriously or possibly, not to seriously. You see, it seems as if all the shinobi lands are nearing war. Though, I'm not a fan of war as it has taken my childhood away, and also my friends. So I guess you can say, Kakougan, that I'm just a bit cautious because I now can protect what I live for. I live for Kiri, its citizens, the children, my comrades, and most importantly my family." he said while looking over to Kuro and Saya. You could tell that when Demo said his "family" he meant Saya, and Kuro; his newly developing team.
Demo looked at Kakougan with a stern look for a second. "I hope you haven't taken me too lightly. That summon of yours is pretty interesting, I must say." he said, as a compliment. "I bet Suna has many unique ninja, like Kiri does. I think that, even if I'm not a ninja of other lands, I believe every ninja is innocent. Even the twisted." he said, "Your God, if that is what you call him, sounds as if he is powerful, possibly loving," Demo said while looking at him, still with a stern look. "I must ask, is your god somewhat of a tyrant? Does he wish the destruction of the villages that do not recognize him, possibly never heard of him because of the teachings of others?" he said, "Basically what I'm asking is, will he kill the innocent?" Demo asked. "I'm trying to teach my students that you do not live for war, or fighting. You live to offer peace, love, and understanding for the future generations. To preserve the future so that young lives, lives period, do not leave this world to soon before they can make a difference." he said and then looked at Kakougan with eyes that would only belong to a man searching for an answer. "I'll promise you this. I'll find faith, and spread the word of the Divine One. If you spread what I just told you to your students, to your people, so that someday we can all live for nothing, fear nothing, and that possibly we will all come to and understanding and accept each other." he said as he awaited Kakougan's answer. |

| All of this conversation was starting to get on Kakougan's nerves, he had come to Kiri for a simple reason and these guards were holding him there for far too long. All Kakougan could think about was getting this guards to leave him alone until something that he said interested him. ' Kakuhan not in the village... this could be a lie to get me to leave, or it could be truthful, I wouldn't put that past him. Damn... what to do... I guess I've come here for no reason at all. What a waste of time! I guess I'll just leave once I'm done here.' Kakougan ranted in his mind. Once Demo finished talking, Kakougan took a step forward and sighed, " The Divine One isn't a 'person', he is a being beyond human understanding. If he were a mere person, I wouldn't respect him at all, neither would anyone else. No one person has power over everything, never has, never will. Only a maniac could possibly think that such a thing will ever happen." he said.
" Before I answer the rest of your questions about the Divine One, let me say this, different people have different views about him. Some may see him as a tyrant, a being that bends the will of us humans for personal gain. Others may see him as a peace keeper, doing everything needed to reach peace and prosperity. My view about the Divine One, is that he is neither a pacifist nor ruler. No... if he were either of those, he would of reach one of those two persona's goals by now. I think that he is a conqueror. He has started with a small group of humans, his followers, and wants to spread his intentions to everyone on in the world. Like a conqueror, he'll do whatever he can to make sure these people either convert, or die. Killing the innocent that use ignorance as a wall, saving the innocent who see clearly what is right. Destroying warmongers that ignore his commands, saving warmongers that agree to fight for him. He loves all of these people equally, loves them enough to put them out of their misery and give them a head start to eternal damnation. Your ideals may be able to fit into mine, except that people only get so many chances before they bring their deaths upon themselves. They only have so many walls before the drill breaks through and pierces their hearts. There no worth in young lives, or lives in general if they're soaked with evil. Just like theres no use in trying to clean a window with a rag that is covered in mud when you could just use a clean one; the dirty rags are useless. That is my goal, though most dislike my zeal. I will continue to fight for the Divine One, kill for the Divine One, save for the Divine One, and some glorious day... die for the Divine One!" Kakougan preached at the top of his lungs with so much emotion and feeling that he ending up having a fit of demonic laughter as he finished speaking.
After a small period of silence, Kakougan decided that his words had had enough time to soak in and he should get back on topic. " Back on the subject of Kakuhan... If hes not here, I have no reason to be here either. I pray you don't think that I don't enjoy the company, but the desert is calling. Unless you have anything else to say, I'll be off." He said as he crouched down and caressed Otakebi's head. |

| Perhaps a little out of turn, Saya speaks up. She wasn't given permission to speak, but she had also not been sworn into silence. "It would seem Demo sensei has not even heard of Kakuhan, though I assure you he lives in Kirigakure. He does not get along well with others, so tends to keep to himself, and his plants. Kakuhan is in this village somewhere, I am sure, but good luck finding him. He doesn't typicaly welcome the odd visitor." she says quietly and slowly, not wishing to need to repeat herself.
"If I had to wager a guess, I would say he is hiding somewhere dark and quiet, so he can avoid all this mindless prattle about gods, peace, and love. I must admit, for someone who is supposed to be his friend, even you are nothing like him. Kakuhan never made mention of the Divine One, nor of any religious order. He seemed too strong willed, or maybe bullheaded, to believe in anything so foolish as an all powerful, all knowing, deity. The very concept is offensive. There are no gods who hold sway over my life, nor any who will judge me." she says with a nod, then falls quiet once more.
It might seem odd that the student knows more about the local jonins than the other jonin did, but who's to even say she is a genin? The way she speaks, though, she is clearly familiar with Kakuhan. She shakes her head once, and would walk away if given the chance. She pauses now a little ways away from the group and looks over towards Demo. It did't seem as though there was going to be a fight. She casts a glance over towards the mist choked forest to her left, and gives a little whistle.
A moment later a huge form bursts through the mist and lands in the damp soil beside Saya. The monster is some 15 feet long, and covered in teal colored feathers. Though it looked something like a bird, it's reptilian head and legs were unmistakable. It's long claws and hundred sharp teeth undeniably belonged to a dinosaur. The predator turns it's beedy eyes towards the gathered mass of ninja, but just stands ready beside Saya. As if the monster was little more than her loving puppy, she pats the beast on the side of it's neck, and just waits. |

| Demo listened to the man's long speech and said nothing after that. "Well, that sounds a bit interesting, hopefully we may meet again soon so that you can tell me more about him. I'm a bit interested." he said signaling for Saya to come out, seeing as his other student left. "I too have many things to attend to. It was very nice meeting you and I must say this was a fun conversation." he said smiling and backing up a bit. "Good bye! I'm sorry that what your looking for is not here." he said taking up a great speed back towards the village. The Byakugan appeared on his face as he dodged the trees that lay in front of him.
Knowing Saya would find her way back, he took a great leap into the air and landed on the top of the gates. "Watch out for any Suna ninja passing by, I just encountered one. However, he is no threat to us but he could be used as bait." Demo said to the watch guards as he jumped off the top of the gate and back down into the village. "I must report to Lord Mizukage soon.." he said to himself as he ran to the apartment buildings in which he stayed.

| Hearing that Kakuhan was missing almost knowcked Kakougan off his feet. Just the thought that Kakuhan could be hurt and the culprit wasn't him made his blood boil. Getting over all of that, Kakougan listened to what Demo had to say. ' Hmm, he obviously doesn't like me and is holding back some sort of violent reaction... oh well, I guess I should just leave him to his own devices.' He thought as Demo left. Once Demo was gone Kakougan turned to the guard again and grinned. " You don't know the first thing about Kakuhan or the Divine One, your weak and useless just like the rest of this damned world. You say its useless prattle, but you'll find soon enough that the world doesn't revolve around Kiri nor any faction in the world. What do you believe exactly? Do you believe that we're here for no reason? Jusdt to suffer from the pain of this world? What do you think happens when you die? I suggest you put your faith in the Divine One fast for your death crawls closer and closer with every second. Kakuhan never spoke of the Divine One because he knows about people like you who are so ignorant of the bigger world that surrounds them. I know Kakuhan better then anyone. His belief in the Divine One is rooted inside of him like that vined beast he holds, you can't remove it. If you want to so ignorant as to ignore my warnings, then I hope you die a very painful death and suffer even more in the depths of hell." Kakougan said to the guard before turning around. " If hes not here, then neither will I. Goodbye, I do hope when meet again, perhaps I can be your black cloaked angel..." He murmured softly before hearing the loud squawk of a bird. The bird came closer and closer until Kakougan could identify it as a Suna messenger.
The bird landed on Kakougan's shoulder and he quickly read the message it held. After reading it over a few times, he let out a small chuckle and started to chant. " I have business to attend to, tell the Mizukage I said hello." Kakougan said before drilling into the ground and heading off. Otabeki followed with a faint roar and Laikeze flew ahead to the boat. Digging through the ground Kakougan started to giggle and repeat the phrase " Wargames! Wargames!".

| "Kakuhan was my sensei." She says rather flattly, cutting the jounin off before he can fully submerge into the ground. There was no passion in her voice, nor any hint of insult, condescension, or vanity. She was simply stating a fact as though she was reading it out a text book. She says no more, for now, and leaves it at that, wondering if it would pique the strangers interest at all. Of course, Saya wasn't lying, but who could say for sure? Her weapons and armor were a far cry from what Kakuhan tended towards. Of course it was unlikely this would cause a jounin to halt his subterranean voyage.. but that was okay.
After he's gone, Saya brings her hands up in front of her. She weaves only two symbols, then presses two fingertips against the one of the five seals scribed on the sleeve she wore. A moment later her wrists and shins are cloaked in a thin veil of smoke as her training weights are banished back into the storage scroll. Freed from their weight, she was light enough to make use of Kusamaru once more. She turns her attention to the dinosaur, and with a little hop lifts herself up onto the beast's back.
"Kusamaru! After that bird!" She shouts, and a moment later she's off like a shot. Kusamaru was a swift mount, easily faster than a horse, and with much better mobility. In only a few hops the raptor reaches the tree tops, and it's easy travels from there. Even with the bird out of sight, Saya knew where she was going. The docks were off in the distance, and to leave this island publicly, he'd have to head there. At a full sprint, Saya had little doubt in her mind she'd arrive at the docks first, and there is where she'd wait, until the Suna jounin showed his face once more. |

| Still burrowing underground Kakougan started to think about what he had said to the guard before he had left. ' It was rude but necessary...', was the phrase that concluded his thoughts. Most people thought he was crazy when he spoke like that. Others are offended, which in most cases, leads to conflict. When the ground started to get wetter and wetter Kakougan knew that he was nearing the shore. When the ground was so wet that it was more like mud then solid earth Kakougan knew it was time to emerge from the crust. With a upward jerk he broke through the surface and pulled himself up from the ground. Waiting for him on a nearby sign was Laikeze. " Boy, looks like someone followed you." Laikeze said as he nodded towards the top of the trees. After flexing his arm in anger, Kakougan turned around and looked up towards the tree tops expecting to see the guard once again. He was half right, the guard was there but not alone.
" Thats a fancy mount you have there. Much more versatile than a horse it seems. It was able to get up on the top of those trees, very impressive." Kakougan yelled to the guard. Kakougan really wanted to get out of the area not only because he hated the climate, but also because of the people that were all around him casting him suspicious glances. " What do you want exactly? You wouldn't have followed me here just to see me off, you don't seem like a kind person at all. Whatever you want to ask me make it quick. I have places to go and things to do that are much more important than playing around in this mud. The Kazekage is expecting me, and I'd hate to be late. If you want some sort of reaction out of me about you being Kakuhan's student, here it is... I'm disappointed, I would expect someone that was trained by Kakuhan to at least show some respect towards the Divine One. Looks like hes really losing it... well... he never was too good with people, hes was always too busy playing with his plants to care about other people." Kakougan continued, completely ignoring the people around him that were hearing all of this as well. Deciding that this conversation didn't require anyones attention, Kakougan yanked a small clump of grass from the ground and placed it in front of his mouth. Through his teeth, Kakougan expelled a foul air from his mouth that caused all of the grass to wilt and die and the people around him to turn around and return to their business. Turning back to the guard he sighed and repeated, "What do you want?". |

| Saya makes a single easy leap from the dinosaur's back and lands in front of the other ninja. In broad daylight she wasn't too worried about an attack, but she kept her hand on the handle of her sword regardless. She remains a distance of about twelve feet, and speaks loud and clear. Her voice wasn't exactly a powerful one, per se, but she spoke with the plain, direct, monotone of a solider. "Well.." she begins, grinning behind her mask. "If I must be plain, let me state it like this:"
"I had hoped by informing you of his presence within the land of waves, you would go out in search of him. No doubt you did not come so far to be rebuffed by the ignorant comments of a single of Kiri's ninjas? Demo knows nothing of Kakuhan. Few do. He kept a squad of his own for only a short time, and I was in it. I simply wish to find him, and all trails have gone cold. I figured with your appearance in this village I might find another way of locating him, so I can give him a good lashing." she continues in the same monotone voice. "I have many questions from him I would like to see answered about his sudden abandonment of his duties."
She pauses for just a moment, tilting her head to the side slightly. "Does this all powerful god you speak of look fondly on those who abandon their allies? Does it say nothing of honor, and duty? I am sure you know of many places to search for him.. so don't you think it would be silly to give up, after such a long voyage?" |

| Obviously the guard didn't know much about Kakuhan's personality, which was disappointing since he was the guards sensei. After a short pause to think, Kakougan had found a way to explain about Kakuhan. " Has Kakuhan ever really explained anything about his methods? Except for his past, which he may of spoken of. In all of the time I have known him, he really hasn't explained much about himself to me and he has always been a solitary person. I've known him for a long time, so trust me on that. So its safe to say that if hes gone, and nowhere knows where he went, he doesn't want anyone to know. Some things are better left alone, like Kakuhan. You can look for him all you want but you most likely won't find him until he wants to be found." He explained slowly. Kakougan knew that what he said sounded suspicious in a way, but he was telling the truth. He really would say anything just to leave without any objections; he needed to get to River country. If he didn't get there he feared that he would be subjected to harsh punishments by the Kazekage.
In one fluid motion, Kakougan took a step back and turned around on his heel. With his back facing the foggy forests of Kiri, the Suna visitor started walking towards his boat. " Listen, I would love to stay and chat, but I have an important event to attend. Kazekage's orders, I've got to get moving. If you'd still like to talk you could always send a message to Suna, you know my name. I'm afraid I can't stay any longer, so if you have any farewell words say them now." Kakougan said slowly while walking onto the mossy dock and towards a boat leaving for Suna. It would be a long voyage back, just like the voyage to Kiri. ' Damn... I don't think I'll make it in time. I'll probably be late.' Kakougan thought sadly. It might of taken a shorter amount of time if he took a boat directly to River Country, but he didn't want to risk any other ninja knowing of any Suna affairs. Besides that, Kakougan preferred to travel through the desert then on a boat; it made him feel more at home. Going this way might let him meet up and travel with the rest of Suna, but most likely not. " I'm going to be late.." He sighed, taking his first steps onto the bridge onto the boat. |

| "Well were's the sport in hunting down people who actually want to be found. You can find them lining the streets, and filling every seat at the theater. No, I wanted to find Kakuhan only to frustrate him with the fact that I could. Do not think I am giving up.. Unlike some others, I've the dedication and resolve to keep searching for the things I want to find." she mutters with a light smirk, shaking her head some as the jounin steps onto the boat. Leaving so soon, it seemed.
"Must be some Odd folks living out in that desert. You traveled halfway across the country for a five minute stroll through the Forest of Fog. I do hope your trip has at the very least given you a bounty of memories you might cherish, so the whole thing will not seem so pointless. Have a safe voyage back to Sunagakure." she says, then bows politely even if he wasn't looking. On her next breath she is turning and looking to her dinosaur.
With little more than a light hop she springs up onto Kusamaru's back, and both of them flee into the forest. Within ten seconds the pair have completely vanished from sight, but a few falling limbs sound off in their location. The trail of trodden and broken branches tended to be the only trail she ever left while sprinting through the tree-tops. |
