Friend's, my time has come

While I realize now that since I'm no longer an administrator, I should not be making this post, I feel it is quite necessary. I would like to take this time to thank each and every one of you for being such great members. I don't care if you hated me or loved me, you were a part of me no matter what. You, the members, are the core of this site. I did not give up my position of administrator with ease. Indeed, I spent a great while thinking about it, it being a truly difficult decision to make. In the end I decided that I'd like to become a part of the core again. To interact with you all without the red tape of being staff. I want to be solely your friends, instead of both your friend and boss. I'm a fan of power, I've never denied this to my knowledge. But likewise, I do not require it to have fun, nor did I seek staff out to gain it. I wanted to help the site from the start of my moderation, and continued with that desire until I was given the title of administrator. From there, I've spent a great deal of my time doing my best to make you all happy. I'm not interested in my success in this regard, I just want you all to know that whether I succeeded or failed, it was all for you, residents of US. My time here has been so enjoyable because of you all.

And of course my time with the administration!!! I truly will miss you all, it's a bit difficult to see a site I've been able to actively input my ideas in fall out of my hands, in a manner of speaking. That is, it will be interesting to sit back and watch you all make the decisions. I will truly miss you all. Adam, our occasional arguments mean nothing, you are a great man, and a great webmaster, I've truly enjoyed working with you. Hugh, at times, you've been the backbone of this site, you old brit. You're a really great and dedicated man. Robin....you're...well...one crazy sexy mofo ;D you add great charisma, and make everything a lot more humorous, on top of your individual contributions. Todd, you are often quiet, but well spoken, you do a great job with contributing intelligence to ideas and discussions. John, you are very calm, but powerful in your words and feelings, you too do a great job as Admin.

To the Moderating Team; Good luck. Keep up the great work and keep this site running! You guys put in a great deal of work, I know you guys can do it.

So my friends, I will look forward to RPing with you, and chatting with you in the future, as your friend alone.

Ah c'mon guys, you are making this like Pat is going to die or something. Surely it's sad that Pat stepped down from his admin position for whatever reason he had to but man you made such speeches that breaks you heart that many will believe you will die like tomorrow or that you will never come to this site again >.<

Aww. Well said, hon. It's a shame such a great Admin has stepped down, but I understand your reasoning. I look forward to RPing with you, hopefully in the near future, and of course, I will support you as a friend. :]

Sad to say but I really enjoyed you as admin. Maybe it's just me but when you became admin you seemed a lot more friendly to me personaly. I came to enjoy having you around. Idk maybe it was just me the whole time but Pat I really like you guy. The staff won't be the same without you.
