mugen.... I was talking to hiruzen cause he said he was the hokage in question... <_<". Ruka asked a question, I stated my personal opinion. Hiruzen interjected with new information to which I responded. None of it seems to have anything to do with you.

Kinda hard to clutter a thread labeled "event shenanigans" with stuff from the event that people had problems with. If you don't want to read about it, don't open the thread. Don't turn on a heater and then get surprised when it gets hot.

I don't like pms, and seldom do I use them. They can be shady, and I'd rather let my opinion be openly known to be scrutinized by all, rather then behind closed doors, so to speak.

I misread Hiruzen's post and thought he was speaking hypothetically about IF he were Hokage. Therefore I didn't realize he had the authority of Hokage behind him. That's why I commented on their not being an active hokage(to my knowledge). Sorry for the mix up. In that case, in my opinion you're gonna have to deal what whatever Hiruzen decides as he has more authority over village policies than you do. I suppose the choice of who has final say on the matter is for staff to decide. It could definitely be argued that you should have a say over things directly involving your character. I simply believe that you give up some of that control in a scenario like this where village security and politics are at play and there are other characters with IC authority over you and the control of information surrounding you. That's just my opinion on the matter as a member.

On another note however, please re-read my post. If you do, you'll find I am invested in reading the thread. I simply had no desire to read a potentially endless back and forth about something with no definitive "right" answer. Keep in mind, I was mistakenly under the impression that Hiruzen was NOT hokage and for that I apologize. I'd appreciate it if you gave a bit more respect to my right to participate in this open discussion thread. Especially since you responded to me directly and didn't seem to have a problem with my involvement at first. But now you suddenly want to point out that I have no business in the discussion. You were being respectful at initially so I'm not sure what caused the turn of heart.

Quite frankly, I do see it as my business. It might not directly affect me, but as a member of the forum I frequently dedicate myself to neutralizing debates before they can escalate to do my part in helping ensure talks remain productive. Doing so is how I strive to live up to my personal ideals of how a good forum member should act. I also see giving my opinion on whether or not to let the Hokage or yourself decide to be my duty as a "good member" despite the fact that it has no direct impact on myself or my character.

I apologize if my beliefs on how to behave offend or upset you. I sincerely would prefer to end conflicts. Not start them.

I would have also preferred to pm this to you as I don't really think it belongs in this thread since this is personal between you and I. But out of respect for your dislike for pms, I'll accommodate you and dish this out publicly.

That's fine mugen, and I didn't mean it like that. I meant it more as "Don't presume to tell me what to do, when it has nothing to do with you" opinions and suggestions are fine. Ordering me to shut it and pm Ruka because you are tired of discussing something that ultimately has no bearing on you... not a big fan of that.

Weather if that's how you meant it or not, that's how it came off and how I took it as.

It was not much of an order, more like the thing you should do if you want that kind of thing resolved. But in regards to you being a Jinchuuriki and all, I suggest you PM me your Skype name so we can talk it out there. So with that, I hope the rest of the problems are dealt with.
