Akimaru was enjoying the hustle and bustle of urban life lately. Despite the fact he didn't like to talk much, he was enjoying listening to people communicate and having fun with each other. Studying his fellow ninja, his fellow humans, was becoming very interesting and appealing to him. He didn't know why, it just was. Combing his hand through the back of his hair, Akimaru's hand became caught in it and he pulled out a few hairs. He flinched a little. Akimaru was trying to teach himself to strengthen his pain threshold. It was particularly good at the moment.

Deciding to cool down slightly from his new excitement, Akimaru was leant against the wall of the nearest arena. He was waiting for a spar to appear. Because he was so shy, Akimaru often placed himself in the corner of the arena, and waited for his challenger to approach him. It often worked, and saved him having to approach people, which he really hated. It also gave him time to prepare about what he was going to say, as it was generally obvious when someone was about to approach him.

Akimaru was one to like to prepare. He was prepared for a fight. Not really a fight, a spar. Not that he wouldn't try, but he wouldn't really be aiming to hurt. As much as he would if he were angry. He was in control of his happy personality. Leaning against the warm wall, the sun shining in his face, Akimaru's pose was somewhat of a cool one. His hair was sticking out to the side, not messy this time, but like electric. He even thought female companions might find him attractive. Holding that though, Akimaru looked down.

Akemi had travelled from Kumogakure to see her home village of which she had never seen before. Her headband was tied in it's usual place underneath her fringe. The metal piece of it was visable where her fringe didn't cover it, and it caught the sunlight occasionally, flashing across the floor in front of her. It made her grin for some odd reason; that and whenever her companion Inazuma headbutted her leg affectionately. She was walking around the village without any real purpose, just looking around and observing how different everything looked from Kumo. Her brown eyes glittered with wonder, like a dog that was presented with a huge bone. She was unable to focus on anything for more than a few minutes since there was so much to see. 'This is great!~ I should travel around more often.' She thought to herself happily as she rounded a corner and found a sparring area. There was a large arena with a guy leaning against the wall of it, looking pretty placid and not bothering anyone.

Inazuma of course took delight in all the new smells that were around this area and took off at a sprint towards the poor guy which wasn't expecting a black bundle of puppy to come hurtling at him.
"Inazuma!" Akemi yelled at her companion who hurtled to a hault just in front of the guy, panting and wagging her tail. Akemi shook her head and ran over, skidding slightly in her boots and picking Inazuma in the same swift movement. She bowed her head in appology and smiled at him. "Sorry about that; she's too overly friendly I'm afraid. Sometimes I can't control her." She shook her head and rolled her eyes before holding out a spare hand as Inazuma sat on her master's shoulder.

"My name's Akemi Inuzuka, a Genin os Kumogakure. What might your name be?" She tilted her head to the side as she continued to smile and hold her hand out until he took it.

Akimaru heard the panting of a dog and looked up. He saw a puppy hurtling towards him, at a great speed for an animal of it's size. "Inazuma!" Akimaru heard a young girl shout. "The dog's name must be Inazuma." Akimaru thought to himself, looking down at the cute bundle of life. Not wanting to seem threatening to the dog, Akimaru knelt down next to it, so they were of equal height. He patted Inazuma's head and allowed the dog to lick his hands.

The girl who had shouted was now right in front of him. She had skidded to a stop in her boots, and was frantically apologising. "Sorry about that she's too overly friendly I'm afraid. Sometimes I can't control her." The girl shook her head and rolled her eyes in a apologetic yet sarcastic fashion. She held out a spar hand and Inzauma crawled up it, until she was sat happily on her master's shoulder. Such a thing interested Akimaru.

"My name's Akemi Inuzuka, a Genin os Kumogakure. What might your name be?" she said, tilting her head to the side. She was smiling as she held her hand out. Akimaru noticed her Kumogakure no Sato headband, and wondered why she was a ninja of that village when the Inuzuka clan's origins were in Konoha. Not wanting to seem rude by asking such a question, Akimaru took her hand, shook it and returned her smile. "All the clans have started to spread out these days, it's good for country relations..." Akimaru thought to himself, trying to answer his own question.

"M-my name is Akimaru Kiyo." Akimaru said, desperately hoping she didn't notice his stutter lest she mock him for it. He was very nervous about meeting someone new, but it had to be done if he wanted to spar. And he really did, meeting new people was all part of being a ninja. Akimaru accepted that, he just didn't embrace it exactly. Looking into the girl's eyes, Akimaru couldn't help but wonder what she thought of him.

Akemi kept up her effortless smile and let her hand drop down comfortably to her side. 'He's nervous... I can tell that much. And I heard the stutter when he spoke... his body language is very protective and shielding. I don't want to make him uncomfortable, so I'll just do the talking since he doesn't want to. It should be easy enough~' She thought, observing his movements and reactions. It could help her in her judgement knowing she could smell his nerves. It had a very distinctive smell; one that she encountered quite often. "I dropped by in Konoha to see where I was born. My dad told me all about this village, but I wanted to see it for myself." She decided to start by saying, since that question was bound to be on his mind. She'd be curious too if a random ninja turned up from a foreign village. She had the curiosity of, well... a dog.

Inazuma sat very patiently on her master's shoulder, steadily wagging her tail as she panted heavily with excitement at all the new sights she was seeing with her deep blue eyes. She nuzzled Akemi's neck, making the girl giggle and stroke the dog which was what she wanted in the first place; some love and attention as always. "All I know is that my mother and father moved because of some family issues with the rest of my clan after I was born. So, we moved out to Kumogakure." She went on to say. Since she had gotten started on the topic, she couldn't stop anywhere for a while. She would have to be certain that she knew she had talked about it too much. Now was one of those times.

"This is a great sparring area too!" She noticed, spinning round on the spot slowly in order to take in all the features of the area. Now she was in the mood for a spar; and since she was already acquianted with someone, she might as well ask him. "Hey, I got an idea. Just tell me if I'm being too pushy, but... how about we have a spar?" She asked eagerly, her eyes sparkling not only with the light of the sun, but with excitement as well. Just the thought of a spar made her heart race.

As they finished a handshake, Akimaru noticed Akemi's hand drop to her side. She seemed to be in thought, but Akimaru couldn't be sure. After a while, her gaze changed and she seemed to be observing him. "I dropped by in Konoha to see where I was born. My dad told me all about this village, but I wanted to see it for myself." she said to him. Akimaru wondered how she knew what he was thinking, but it was probably quite obvious. "Interesting, so she's from Kumogakure? I wonder what it's like there..."

The dog Akemi had, called Inazuma, Akimaru recalled, moved from sitting patiently to wagging her tail and started nuzzling on the girl's neck. The sight made Akimaru smile. Akemi giggled and stroked the dog. The affection between the two of them was very clear, and a wonderful thing to see. From the fact she had a close relationship with her ninja dog, and her old home was Konoha, Akimaru guessed this girl might be an Inuzuka.

"All I know is that my mother and father moved because of some family issues with the rest of my clan after I was born. So, we moved out to Kumogakure."
This confirmed Akimaru's thought, and he was glad he was correct. His smile stayed on his face. It was a trivial victory, but whatever made him happy. The girl seemed to stop now, as if she thought she had been talking too much. On the contrary, Akimaru was very interested to what she had to say.

"This is a great sparring area too!" Akemi piped up, making Akimaru jump a little. She span around on the spot and it looked like she was taking in the area. Akimaru was glad she had noted such a thing, and was hoping her next question would ask him if he wanted to spar with her. His hopes were fulfilled. "Hey, I got an idea. Just tell me if I'm being too pushy, but... how about we have a spar?" Not wasting a second, mayber seeming to hasty, Akimaru nodded vigourously.

Akemi grinned and nodded back in return, glancing round at Inazuma who barked eagerly. The dog noticed her master's obvious change in attitude; the attidude she always had portrayed just before a spar. "I'll warn ya now, Akimaru; I never go easy in a spar..." She smirked and Inazuma hopped off her shoulder as if answering her thoughts. Now, Akemi's mind was racing with all the possibilities she could use as her first move. Ok, she could start off with a full on attack with her Taijutsu; or she could hang back a little bit at first. Maybe let Inazuma go in first and get some good attacks to land before she came in. So, first things first.
"Man Beast Clone!" She said quickly and clearly, bringing her hands together a few times in different handsigns. Inazuma transformed into a mirror image of herself. "Four Legs Technique!" She exclaimed afterwards, making a few more handsigns and then crouching down on all fours just like Inazuma was doing beside her.

Akemi's canine teeth elongated themselves past her bottom lip when she smirked and her fingernails almost doubled in length and sharpness. She pounced at Akimaru followed by Inazuma almost straight after her.
She didn't nessescarily attack, she just wanted to see how her opponent would reeact.

Despite thinking his reaction was too fast and desperate, Akemi sustained her friendly attitude towards him. She grinned and nodded back, glancing round at her loveable pup who barked eagerly, sending a noise through the air. "I'll warn ya now, Akimaru; I never go easy in a spar..." Almost finding it hard to take her seriously, Akimaru surpressed a snigger. He knew not to underestimate any opponent, but she was such a person that you found it hard to see power in her. "I guess I'll find out soon enough...".

Not completely knowing how to react to her sentence, Akimaru simply nodded again, a small, contemplating frown lingering on his face. Wasting no time at all, Akemi started the match. This meant Akimaru didn't have to worry about his first move, as his reactions would take over from here. "Man Beast Clone!" Akemi shouted, her voice seeming much more serious to Akimaru now, althought he wasn't sure if it was just him or not.

Already knowing what to expect, Akimaru saw that he was no longer facing Akemi and Inazuma, but Akemi and Akemi. The sight made him smirk as he watched her following move. "Four Legs Technique!" Akemi said, forming handseals. This time Akimaru was actually watching her perform the jutsu, as she crouched down on all fours.

Her transformation was quite fast. Her canin teeth elongated themselves past her bottom lip and her fingernails almost doubled in length. Both looked quite sharp now. Taking in the changed to Akemi, Akimaru saw how she was no longer a cute little girl to him, but an opponent; and all in all an Inuzuka, who were no strangers to being ninja.

The two girls pounced, but it was still easy enough to distinguish which was Akemi and which was Inuzuma. Akemi lead the two, as they both pounced at Akimaru. The openening move never was much, so Akimaru jumped back and formed a few handseals of his own. "Doton: Doryūheki!" Akimaru said firmly, and a wall of earth sprung up beneath him to protect himself from the two attackers. Not only would it stop them from hitting him, but they had gained so much momentum, they were likely to smash into the solid earth wall.

Everything seemed to be happening in slow motion to Akemi who was going too fast to see it otherwise. Her chocolate coloured eyes locked in on the huge wall of earth that was now blocking hers and her partner's path to her opponent. She glanced round at Inazuma who had seen the wall of earth spring up quickly too, and she nodded her head. Akemi dug deep into her utility pouch, finding two kunai and throwing them up in the air swiftly, her long fingernails flashing in the sunlight as she did so. The metal of the blades thrown up into the air gleamed down upon the master and partner, and Akemi brought her hands together in three handseals quickly.
"Kawarimi no Jutsu - Change of Body Stance Technique!" Akemi called out and changed position with one of the kunai she had launched up in the air. She quickly grasped onto the other she had thrown and attached an explosion tag to it through the hook as she fell down towards the ground again. Once it was secured, she launched it at the mound of the earth near the top, where she assumed the weakest point would be. It was common sense; if the wall had come up from the ground, then the top wouldn't be as strong as the bottom of middle.

She brought her hands together quickly to activate the explosion tag when it made contact with the top of the wall, at the same time shouting "Activate!" as loud as her lungs would let her. Inazuma had jumped upwards at the very last minute, heading on a vertical above the wall, just in case her master's trick hadn't worked. Now the both of them were above the wall, Inazuma lower than Akemi was at this moment in time. Akemi spotted Akimaru, their opponent and knew this was the perfect opportunity to go for him head on while Inazuma tried to recover herself from the disorientation of being in the air.
"Konoha Senpuu!" She brought her hands together a few more times, avoiding scratching herself with her long fingernails before swinging her body forwards in a 360 degree kick. Her right leg was heading straight for Akimaru, and now all she could do was wait as she seemed to fall in slow motion towards her target.

Akimaru waited in his defensive stance as he listened carefully so he could tell what Akemi and Inazuma were doing. As he was stood there, he was formulating more plans in his head to use on the girl and her dog. This promised to be a good spar. Through the quite, Akimaru heard Akemi shout, "Kawarimi no Jutsu - Change of Body Stance Technique!" "Ahh, so she's dodging out of the way. Quick thinking..."

Akimaru hadn't thought it possible the girl would be able to react in time, but thinking again she was an Inuzuka so she did have good speed, agility and physical stamina. "It just goes to show you should never underestimate your opponent." Akimaru told himself off, but there wasn't much time to be hard on himself. Akemi was on the move. Some kunai glinted in the air above Akimaru's earth wall, and Akemi appeared beside one of them.

Akimaru watched as Akemi attached an exploding tag to the kunai and threw it at his earth wall. "Why's she trying to destroy the wall?" Akimaru thought in wonder. Either way, he didn't let her. Concentrating more chakra into the earth, he reinforced the wall; making it harder to destroy. It wasn't long before Akimaru had to break his concentration, as he saw Akemi launching towards him using Konoha Senpuu.

Allowing the wall to be destroyed, Akimaru span on his heel, concentrating chakra to the sole of his foot. He began to spin rapidly and chunks of earth and sand kicked up around Akimaru. Akemi was heading straight for the man-made sandstorm, and Akimaru stuck his leg out in her direction to counter attack.
