Personality: Jaruka's personality is one of interest, he's not too attached to people nor places but at times can seem rather close to those around him. Though his acts of "kindness" could easily be construed as pure will to complete the mission, this is hard for those who know him well to swallow. Jaruka can seem quite arrogant at times but one is to be ensured that this is not a genuine cockiness or sense of believing in an ability that he does not have, on the contrary, he acts as though he should based on his level of power, meaning that he will only act as powerful as he knows he is. This can lead to Jaruka being unpopular within the ranks as his sense of belief in himself (as well founded as it is) can get on people's nerves, meaning he is infamous in Kirigakure for the way he acts.

However despite these small issues with his trust in himself, Jaruka is a wise and strong fighter and will do whatever he can to complete the mission, even if that means that sacrifices need to be made. He believes that superior power is the only way to bring peace and that sacrifices need to be made for the greater good, this means he will not hesitate to leave his own men behind if the situation calls for it, though, if they are badly injured he may take mercy and kill them on the spot.

Though the last paragraph might make Jaruka seem quite tyrannical, everything he does is for the people around him, whether they believe it or not.

Special Characteristics: The one ability that would set Jaruka apart from any other Shinobi is his use of his mighty sword, the Touketsu-Aisu-Tansen or 'Frozen-Ice-Edge' in English, this weapon is a chakra based weapon that is usually used in accordance with his Kekkei Genkai (Which is Ice-Manipulation). This characteristic makes him a formidable foe and means that he is considered special in the clan as Chakra-based weaponry is a rare thing to have, usually only held by select clan members and the Samurai warriors of the Iron Country.

Kekkei Genkai: The Bloodline limit of the Koori clan is purely elemental. This meaning that they are one of the few ninja in the world that on top of the regular elements that all ninja have an opportunity of access to, they can also access a singular advanced element. All members of this clan have the basic elements of wind and water. They can combine the properties and fundamentals of both to create the ice element. This is done by the wind chakras adding a chilled factor to the water chakras, causing it become an over all colder chakra. When exuded from the body, its heat level is to low to be liquefied water, and instead takes the form of solid ice.

All of their clan jutsu focus around this singular concept of creating and manipulating ice. A user is capable of taking pre-existing bodies of water, large or small, and manipulating them into ice, as well as pre-existing ice formations and using them for their techniques. This ice is generally very durable and difficult to break, taking an excessive amount of physical damage for most techniques, and is also, in contradiction to naturally occurring ice, displays a resistance to fire, though is not purely immune to it its melting effects.

History:
The Koori clan are The Mist Villages second most well known clan as its co-founder and unique ability to manipulate and create the ice element. In the time before the great villages were constructed they were one of the lesser clans for hire but they were still well known all the same and held a certain level of respect and honor. Unlike the accursed Kaguya clan they are actually quite peaceful by nature though quite deadly in battle. Despite there grand foothold in the society of Kiri, they at one point, just like the Kaguya were persecuted by the normal villagers for there arcane abilities which were beyond what normal shinobi could do. There faith in the village never wavered though, and unlike the Kaguya, they never struck back against there critics.

When the Kaguya rebellion came to pass, they led the resistance to the struggle and were the main cause for the ending of the feud. As a result of this they single handedly brought their village closer together and ended the persecution, the two clans gaining more respect and stature then ever before amongst their home. For many years they have served as the primary protectors of the village and its most well known family name.

Although a picture would normally suffice for the appearance section of your application, seeing as you are applying for Jounin I would add a few paragraphs also describing your character's appearance as well as the image in case it goes down and as a back up.

You need to beef up your personality a bit more, I'd say about 3 paragraphs of a good length. Five lines per paragraph at least. Try to add things like your character's likes and dislikes.

May I also ask that all of your jutsu have at least 3 lines describing them. How they work, how they're set up, if they're set up, their range, etc.

Could you please split your history into arcs? Genin Arc, Chuunin Arc, Jounin Arc, etc.

Please specify which two types of weaponry your character uses (you get a main and sub, the choices can be found on the equipment section of the board). Also, please include any weapons you wish to have (kunai and such are standard and need not be applied for). A list of what is free equipment is in the equipment section of the board.

I see that you applied for an S rank sword, unfortunately Jounin only qualify for A rank techniques and weapons. In addition, your description of the sword should include the style of the sword and the blade length. Describe the blade shape, hilt style, and scabbard. In addition, using a sword as thin as you describe will make the weapon very weak, and liable to be broken by stouter blades.

The only items that allow users to bypass handseals are genjutsu foci, as such the special ability of this sword won't work. You could lower the rank and have a special set of motions that you perform with the sword that replaces handseals. As such you couldn't be copied and no opponent would be able to predict which jutsu you are using. When done right, they might not even know you are using ninjutsu at all.
