Outside the Village Hidden in the Snow, endless snow cowered the mountains and all of the surrounding area. The weather there was extremely cold and the temperatures were extremely low, a regular human would have troubles surviving in a area like this, without really warm clothes. But, the same was even for shinobi, even they couldn't survive out here without some special kind of ability or warm clothes. That is way it was so weird that out of a sudden a snow monster appeared and started attacking people. Same was with an old man coming here and vanishing out of a sudden, without a trace. Those two mysteries were the reason why a young man from Kirigakure no Sato come here into this cold and frozen area. He was so annoyed with this cold area, but, he had to come here. The old man who vanished was his uncle, who he had to find, since his parents made him do it. Living with parents was such a troublesome thing for a young twenty year old man, even though he was already an adult, he had to listen to them and do whatever did they wanted. Since his uncle stopped sending mail to them, they got worried, so Marcus had to come to the Land of Snow and see what happened. The people there were not even sure did he even vanish, or what happened to him, there was a chance that he was well, somewhere in one of the other villages which were scattered all over the Land of Snow. Village Hidden in the Snow was the only famous one, due to it's shinobi strength. But, there were plenty more small towns and villages around., which were normal villages who did not posses any shinobi forces. Those kind of villages were places for farmers and peaceful families, who lived alone with no influence from the shinobi world. There was a large chance that the uncle of the young Marcus was in one of those villages, so no wander that he couldn't send any mail, since those villages were not connected with any other village. And so, the young man started his travel.
From the Village Hidden in the Snow, the young man entered the Mountains trough the Northern gates, trough which his uncle passed right before he disappeared. So, he decided to start there first. On him, in order to survive the harsh weather conditions, he had a really thick coat over his clothes, over which he had his mission clothes. So, you could say, he had three layers of clothes on himself. Due to that, he was protected from the cold. But, even with all those clothes, it was still cold, due to the fact that his mission clothes and his regular clothes were not so thick. And so, not even prepared for what was coming, Marcus kept his cool and he continued towards the nearest town or village. As he walked, the young man suddenly got a strange feeling that someone was watching him. No matter how hard he tried, this feeling would not go away, so he decided to check it out. Out of a sudden Marcus stopped walking. Slowly, he started looking around, searching for any sign. If nobody was there, there should not be any signs of disturbance. But, if someone was there, some kind of sign should be there, some evidence. Just as he thought, there were no evidence of anyone being anywhere near him, nor that anyone passed trough this parts in a long time. Now that he was sure about it, Marcus continued with his walk. But, just to be on the safe side, he prepared a defensive mechanism, by performing a set of simple hand seals. Those hand seals he formed under his clothes, so even if someone was watching him, they could not have seen this hand seals. And, so he continued walking, looking around to see if he was close to any village or town, or not. But, in a forest cowered by snow everywhere, visibility was not so good. Because of the low visibility, what followed, surprised Marcus so he had no chance of evading it, quite a stealth attack it was. Out of a sudden, from the ground beneath and around Marcus, Ice Spikes sprouted out, impaling the young man from different angles. In just a few seconds, his whole body had holes all over it, with Ice Spikes coming out from different parts of the body of the young man.
Was Marcus dead? Or was he still alive? The answer will be revealed soon.

Name: Ice Release: Ice Spikes Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Element: Ice Description: This justu unleashes great spikes of ice that come out from the users body. They cannot be specifically controlled and are not for attack, strictly defense for a quick and uncontrolled technique. They do not bear any resistance to fire as some other Koori Ice jutsu do. The Ice created from this can be further used for other Ice techniques as well. This defense is fairly weak and can be shattered with the simplest of techniques of almost any kind only being able to turn aside the most basic taijutsu (simple punches and kicks with no chakra added), and basic weaponary (simple nonenhanced metal or wooden weapons with no added chakra capabilities.)
As the spikes impaled the young Jounin, a figure emerged out of the snow, watching how his attacks passed trough the flesh of the young man. The ugly face of the creature who just appeared, took a happy look on it. The so called snow monster got a yet another victim, but this one was indeed a pretty nice catch, never has it managed to kill a shinobi before. The body of this man will probably taste pretty good. Right away has it started to imagine all of the nice ways to devour the body of this man, so that it forgot to notice the sudden change, as the body of the man who the monster killed started to turn into snow. At the time when this process was half way done, the odd creature turned around in order to check on his pray. It sure was surprised when he noticed how his meal was just simple snow. Suddenly, the roar of the beast could be heard: "RAWWWR." The creature was pretty mad now, too mad that it could not have noticed or prepared for what followed.
Suddenly, out of the sky, a extremely large rocky pot fell on top of the snow monster. When the pot reached the creature, it crashed into the not so thick snow, making waves of snow and ice form all around it. But, a few moments later, every motion stopped as a young man came out from his hiding place behind a near by tree. On his face, a gentle smile formed, as he noticed that his giant pot reached its target. But, then, out of a sudden something odd happened. The giant pot, it started to crack, with small holes appearing all over it. And then, the pot suddenly broke into a thousand small peaces, with the snow monster standing in the middle of everything. His eyes, madness covered them. Seeing what just happened shocked the young shinobi, as he couldn't believe what he was seeing. One of his strongest earth style technique was broken with a single punch from the odd snow monster. "Incredible. I must capture you alive," the young man said, as he gained his cool again. Quickly, he started to perform a set of hand seals.
Without wasting a moment, the creature started to run towards the young shinobi, using shinobi like movements and speed level. Noticing this movement, it made Marcus think a little bit, before he proceeded with his strategy. With a set of six or five hand seals completed, the young man released a powerful blast of wind towards his target. As the wind was released, with a calm and deep voice, Marcus spoke the following words: "Wind Release: Great Breaktrough." The pure power of this blast of wind pushed the snow in front of it, so a wave of snow and destructive wind was created, going directly towards the snow monster. If a thing like that hit the creature, he was bound to be knocked out. After the release of the wind technique, he quickly made a jump backwards, making a flip in the air as he approached his designated destination. Gently, five meters from his previous position, he landed, watching to see if his foe survived or not. All he could do now is wait. Due to the mixture of the wind and snow, he was unable to see did his attack hit or not, so he had to be prepared for the worse.
As he awaited to see what happened to the snow monster, a large object covered the snow, casting a shadow over the area where he was. Noticing the sudden disappearance of the sun made the young Jounin curious, so he quickly rose his head upwards. What he saw there, really was incredible. Out of nowhere, a really large snow whale appeared in the sky above the young Jounin, together with the snow monster on top of it. The eyes of the man narrowed, as he bit the thumb of his right arm. Then, as quickly as he could, Marcus performed a set of exactly five hand seals. "I had enough of this," said the young man with a calm and cold voice. Then, he smashed his hand onto the snow bellow him. Out of a sudden, a large cloud of smoke covered the area where Marcus was, making him vanish out of sight. What will happen now?

Marcus used: Name: Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Summoning Technique Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. There are many ways in which the ninja can sign a contract with a summon but it is usually done with the ninja signing a blood contract with the animal species. This allows the user to summon different size and skilled animals to fight along side them, or on their behalf.
Name: Daitoppa - Great Breakthrough Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Element: Wind Description: Fuuton • Daitoppa is a Ninjutsu technique which utilizes the Wind Element. After bringing his hand to his mouth, a shinobi will blow a large blast of wind capable of leveling almost anything in its way. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Change of Body Stance Technique Rank: E Element: none Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.
Name: Otoshi Buta - Covering Lid Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Element: Earth Description: Doton • Otoshi Buta is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. To utilize this technique, Marcus will form the needed hand seal. A large earthen pot will then fall from the sky to cover and contain the target summon. A powerful enough summon will be able to overturn the pot and escape.
Snow Monster used: Name: Ice Release: One Horned White Whale Type: Ninjutsu Rank: A Element: Ice Description: This jutsu allows the user to create a humongous whale, the size of a small island, out of ice to attack their opponent. The user needs a source of ice or water in order to use this technique. This jutsu is used more as a distraction technique, or to block an opponents movements, because of its size. If using water will take an extra C rank amount to freeze the vast supply into ice.
Name: Rakanken Ryuu - Achiever of Nirvana Fist Style Type: Taijutsu Rank: C Element: None Description: The former Sound ninja Yumi has several Taijutsu attacks in his aresenal. These include HouShou (Demolishing Palm), a palm strike to the chest which is capable of knocking an opponent back approximately 30-40 feet. TokKen (Shoulder Thrust), a charging strike with his shoulder. ShouShitsu (Rising Knee) a hard uppercutting knee strike. ShouGekiShou (Rising Palm Attack), a hard thrusting palm attack that can send his opponent flying. AtsuShou (Pressure Palm), a powerful driving palm thrust. And finally GanGeki (Boulder Attack), another powerful fist strike.

OOC: I'll keep my posts short....busy with real life and other stuff....as you may have noticed.
While the cloud of smoke was clearing, the quite large whale was getting closer and closer towards the place where the young man was, ready to crush him and whatever was called out by that last technique. But then, out of a sudden, the smoke completely vanished. Together with it, the young man vanished as well. This surprised the snow monster, who couldn't believe it. At first sight it seemed that Marcus used some kind of trick and used a simple Body Flicker technique. But, then again, biting his finger and forming that set of five hand seals only meant one thing. Indeed, a summoning Jutsu was used. But, there was one thing missing, the actual summon. The possibility of Marcus vanishing with some sort of technique was quite large, but not if he just used a summoning technique instead of an high speed transportation technique. Of course, there was a chance that this summoned creature was a fast one. That indeed was the case here.
Moments before the whale hit the ground, as it was still in the air, the snow monster on it heard something odd. From above him, he could hear a pair of gentle wings clapping, as a large shadow covered the place at which he was standing. Quickly, the creature turned around, rosing his look up towards the location from which the sound of those wings came. He was quite surprised when he saw a large bird hovering above him, with Marcus standing on top of it. The creature was fooled and outsmarted by the Jounin, and that was not something that it liked. The snow monster was full of hat and anger towards this man, it wanted to strangle him with his bare hands. But, not knowing much about the man in front of him, the creature was not sure if that was such a smart idea. So far, the creature knew that this man had the elements of wind and earth and that it was a man who used Ninjutsus a lot. But, that was it, this man could be a specialist in some other area as well and that area might be taijutsu. If that indeed was his specialty, then attempting to strangle him probably would not go well.
Even though it seemed that the odd looking creature known as the snow monster was about to lose, you could not see it giving up already, the creature still had a couple of tricks up his sleeve. Suddenly, an disk made completely out of ice formed bellow the creature, using some of the snow from the whale as a source of water. But, that was not it. Right after the disk was formed, the whole whale fell apart, sort off. All of the snow from the whale suddenly turned into needles, which then took the shape of quite small birds with really sharp wings. From the looks of it, at least a thousand of this birds was formed and all of them were ready to strike their target, Marcus. Noticing the sudden change, the young man formed a look on his face, which made it look as he was disappointed into something. A moment later, Marcus started to talk, using a calm and deep voice. "Those techniques are Kori clan techniques, I ma quite sure of it. After all, the members of that clan originated from the Land of Water. So, you are actually not a snow monster. I should have known that. Sadly, I just noticed it now."
The snow monster was shocked, and just by the look on his face it was quite clear that Marcus was right indeed. This creature for whom everyone though that it was a snow monster, was actually a human, who used his abilities to transform himself into a monster in order to attack people. But, his motives were still unclear.

Snow Monster Used: Name: Ice Release: Swallow Snow Storm Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Element: Ice Description: This jutsu creates a cluster of ice needles in the shape of miniature swallows, which the user then throws at the opponent. These needles can change direction in midair and will maim the opponent with their sharp wings.
Name: Ice Disk Technique Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Element: Ice Description: This jutsu turns the moisture particles in the air into an ice disk. They can be hurled with tremendous force at a target and are hard to dodge because of their transparency. They can also be strung together to spy on areas. They can also be used defensively, creating highly durable shields or disks to stand on to hover in the air.
