The Uchiha have a number of traits which set them apart from the normal ninja. First off being that they all seem to have black hair. Also, every one in this clan has a main element of fire. They seem to be very proficient in the three basic jutsu arts of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu (This does not mean Uchiha characters can have three specialties), and are usually known as the elite brand of shinobi. Uchiha generally seem to work with their speed rather then raw brute strength and are very agile and quick.

Kekkei Genkai:

Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, such as happened with Leaf ninja Uchiha Obito to his teammate Hatake Kakashi. Because his body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated and it burns Kakashi's chakra when used. To lessen the impact of the Sharingan on Kakashi's body, he normally keeps the eye hidden and out of use. Also of note, is the fact Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, was able to advance the Sharingan from two tomoe to three tomoe after gaining the eye.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any handseals.

The Mangekyō Sharingan ( Literally meaning Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye) is a heightened form of Sharingan. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques. The Mangekyō Sharingan is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe seal. Unlike in the case of the Sharingan, the appearance of the Mangekyō Sharingan differs from user to user. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, and erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be alleviated by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The techniques used by this eye vary from person to person and is limited to one technique per eye. It can be achieved by the killing of someone who is very close to the user as a display of being willing to sacrifice anything for power. This can not be fooled and be a fake friend. It must be a real and true strong connection so it takes a certain kind of individual to be able to get it. It can also be gotten by extremely brutal and long training, taking many many many years to obtain of constant hard work and dedication, though the person can not be aiming for it and it actually just happens at random. Even with the hardest work, it is possible for an Uchiha to never achieve this level of eye mastery.

Description: A Genjutsu technique utilized by Uchiha clan members. They will start this technique by using only one finger on their right hand. The target does not have to look into his eyes, a glance at the hand itself will be enough. Once inside the illusion, they can control the visions the ninja sees. This illusion can also be used to play on the fears of the target, causing them to see and hear those who they care about degrade them.

History:

The Uchiha clan was descended from the elder of the two boys entrusted by the Sage of the Six Paths with the power and will of the way of the ninja. The elder believed that might would bring peace. The Sage chose the younger as more fitting to be his successor, causing the elder to be vengeful. From the younger boy descended the Senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the Uchiha. Before the founding of the ninja villages, the Uchiha were one of the many mercenary clans for hire. Because of their Sharingan, the Uchiha clan came to be known as one of the two strongest clans, the second being the Senju clan. Madara Uchiha was particularly powerful, and, upon attaining the Mangekyō Sharingan, he took control of the clan. Under his leadership the Uchiha grew stronger, conquering whatever clans they came upon, such that, whenever the Uchiha clan was hired for a job, the opposing side would hire the Senju.

Hashirama Senju, the leader of the Senju clan, grew tired of the endless fighting, and approached the Uchiha clan with a peace treaty. Madara feared that an alliance would lead the Uchiha to ruin, but his clan disagreed, and he was forced to accept. The two clans came together to form Konoha, with Hashirama being selected as Hokage. Madara believed that this was proof that the Uchiha would be made subservient to the Senju, but his clan saw this only as his attempt to rekindle the flames of war. They turned their backs on him, and he defected. Following Madara's betrayal, the Second Hokage gave the Uchiha control of the Konoha Military Police Force as a sign of trust. According to Madara, this was really just a way of keeping the Uchiha in check and out of Konoha's governing affairs. Over the years, some Uchiha have figured out this motive's true meaning, and tried to rebel against the village as Madara did, but they found that it was too little, too late to make a difference, as the Senju had already completely suppressed the Uchiha. Eventually a revolt was attempted by a select few Uchiha members, but this was crushed quickly and they were thrown in jail or put to death based on their role in the uprising. The Uchiha who did not partake in it, were not held accountable and after that the relations between the Uchiha and the rest of the village grew stronger and trust was finally instilled.

-Birth-
Gekido was born in a little place a few miles from the village of Komo. He was the first son of Rama Suietsu Saibo-gu. His parents were farmers and they lived in a very small village out in the country. His parents were child hood friends and were both from very poor families. They married 2 years before Gekido was born.

Suietsu had been pregnant with Gekido for a little over eitght and a half months the day Gekido was born. It was dusk and the sun was well out of site, but you could still see the pretty pinks, oranges, and blues that the horizon gave off. Gekido's father out in their pasture when his mother went into labor. His father could not hear his mother's cries due to the distance, so when his father came back Gekido was laying on the floor screaming and Gekido's mother was laying on the floor; dead.

His father blamed himself for her death and for not being their. He never forgave himself and started drinking. In a few short weeks, Gekido's father died of alcohol poisoning and Gekido was taken in by the ninja academy to live and train with, in Komo.

-Academy-
Only being a few weeks old and an orphan of the academy, Gekido's life was already starting out rough. In the years to come, while he trained at the academy, would not get any easier. He did not start training until he was 2 but once he started, it was hard to stop him. He would always study academy scrolls and read as much as he could. This was his escape due to the fact that the other students would pick on him because of him being an academy brat.

He never liked the academy that much due to their strict rules. He would always love to try and sneak out and get into some mischief. Most of the time he would get caught just as he was returning from his devious deeds. He would also like to play pranks of his teachers. He was well known for his sense of humor.

Gekido would eventually become the top student in his class with very little effort. Most of the other students were jealious that they had study so hard to pass but all he did was sit their and could ace a test. Their was only one student that could keep up with him and he was from the Nara clan. Finally he would graduate top of his class with the highest score Komo had ever seen and the boy from the Nara clan finished in a close second.

-Genin-
Gekido; at first, was not apart of a team right away and with few sensei's around, he would practice on his own. Gekido's clan did not have a kekkie genkia like a lot of the other clans around the village. His family was ordinary. This was unique though. Due to this, he was having to work harder for what he had accomplished and would have a lot more sense of value when it came to hard work.

Gekido would finally be assigned a team with a sensei but would have some trouble adjusting to his teammates. The reason being he would be pared up with his rival from the academy; The Nara clan member. This young boys name was Okuna. Okuna himself would also have trouble in dealing with the arrangements of having Gekido on his team. This particular pattern would shape the rest of their lives as team members.

On one particular day, Komo was invaded by a hidden village and was in short supply of true warriors so the genin of the village were made to pull missions that were far beyond their scope. One fateful day, Gekido was assaulting a ninja that was from the waring nation and was caught off guard by an explosive tag and was knocked unconscious for a few moments. As he regained his consciousness; Gekidon saw his friend Kema (another one of his teammates) defending him from the Ninja. Gekido tried to get up but couldn't. He then witnessed as his rival and friend Kema, was killed right before eyes. This triggered his Shadingan and he unleashed his attack.

-Chuunin-
After that mission, Gekido would take the Chuunin exams and pass with flying colors. After he passed he watched his friend Horan fight in the 3rd challenge of the Chuunin exams. His friend was fighting a talented member of the Kaguya clan so he knew it would be tough for his friend to win, but he was confident. Then during the fight, after it had just been declared over and Horan was declared winner; the Kaguya clan member launched an attack. Before the proctor could stop him his friend was impaled through the chest. This enraged Gekido and triggered his 2nd tomo of the Shadingan. Gekido leaped from the stands and launched a full out attack on the murderer. The proctor tried to stop Gekdio but his 2 tomo shadingan was too great. He then ripped the Kaguya Clan member's head off with his bare hands and threw it at his clan members. The Kage did nothing to punish him which unsettled the members of the Kaguya clan.

Gekido knew the reason was because of his shadingan. He was hooked on obtaining more power. He had to get stronger and faster and the only way he knew how to do that quickly was through him becoming more powerful with the shadingan. He then began his search for information on the shadingan and to see where it came from. Finally after months of searching, he would finally find hidden documents kept within . The medical ninja did not ask for money but rather just a few favors that Gekido would accomplish after he was all "fixed up". The next of his enhancements was ear implants. These hurt at first but he would soon learn to control them an grow accustom to them.

It was finally time for the Jounin exams when he has just finished up the last job for the medical ninja that had been giving him his implants. Once the Jounin tests started, Gekido would use his shadingan to his fullest extent in order to pass the Jounin exams. It would not be easy for him but in the end he passed his Jounin exams as one of the top graduates.

-Jounin-
Now that he passed his Jounin exams, he went out on a few missions and remembered that he needed to train some more. So on his first week off he went to the dojo and trained intensely. Gekido knew that the only way to get more powerful would be to unlock his 3rd tomo.

After intense training for a solid 6 days and nights, Gekido took a rest before having to go back on duty. He now not only had the 3 tomo shadingan, but a ton of new ninjutsu and genjutsu that would make him extremely powerful. He then knew what his destiny was. It was to become the most powerful shinobi the ninja world had ever seen and his Shadingan would be able to help him do that. He knows what it will take to unlock the final state of the Shadingan and he is bound and determined to achieve it.

Gekido went was on another B ranked mission again. He was getting tired of being given these useless and undermining assignments. He knew that Komo was now at a time of peace and that their really was no war to liven things up but he had to deal with what he was given. It was a late and cloudy night when he and his team of genin were coming upon their target. He knew that his team were very capable of handling themselves but he would keep an eye on them anyway.

Their mission was to captrue and bring back a prisoner that had escaped the prison of Komo a few days before. Due to his Shadingan they were able to track the criminals' movements and quickly caught up to him. Gekido knew that he was close due to the fact that he could see 5 Chakra paths instead of just 4. This mission would be a cinch for him but for his team, it would be difficult. Gekido was encouraged by the Kage to allow the Genin to handle the criminal and he was mainly their to step in if things went wrong.

"Well find him" Gekido to the Genin. They then began a frantic search for the criminal and Gekido soon found him using his vision but did not react nor help the genin. He wanted to teach them a lesson and test their skills. They found him at last but would soon find out that capturing him would not be as easy as his genin thought it would be. Just then then criminal let loose a huge attack that would even give Gekido a problem if he was a normal Jounin. "So this guy is playing hard ball huh? Well time to go to work i guess." Gekido the dropped down from is observation spot and squared off with the criminal. "Why don't you come quietly and I wont have to hurt you too bad" Gekido said with a smile. The criminal laughed and mocked Gekido by saying "You are not strong enough to take me on you weakling. All you have been doing is letting you underlings do all the work for you. You are pathetic!" Gekido then got serious. He would try and not kill the guy but if he did he would tell the Kage it was an accident. "Well if you want it that way then... Here I go." Gekido then activated his Muscle Shadingan and in nearly as fast as a blink of an eye, Gekido appeared right behind the criminal. Gekido the put his hand around the guy's throat and said in a whisper "You were dead before we began." With that he hit the criminal in the middle of his spine with a punch so powerfull it would shatter rock. The criminal was sent flying and hit a near by tree leaving the tree busted up. Gekido the walked over and looked at his hear to see if he was alive. "Yep still alive, Dang am I good or what?" Gekido said with a smile. The team then put him on a stretcher and transported him back to Komo.
