The Uchiha have a number of traits which set them apart from the normal ninja. First off being that they all seem to have black hair. Also, every one in this clan has a main element of fire. They seem to be very proficient in the three basic jutsu arts of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu (This does not mean Uchiha characters can have three specialties), and are usually known as the elite brand of shinobi. Uchiha generally seem to work with their speed rather then raw brute strength and are very agile and quick.

Kekkei Genkai:

Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, such as happened with Leaf ninja Uchiha Obito to his teammate Hatake Kakashi. Because his body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated and it burns Kakashi's chakra when used. To lessen the impact of the Sharingan on Kakashi's body, he normally keeps the eye hidden and out of use. Also of note, is the fact Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, was able to advance the Sharingan from two tomoe to three tomoe after gaining the eye.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any handseals.

The Mangekyō Sharingan ( Literally meaning Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye) is a heightened form of Sharingan. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques. The Mangekyō Sharingan is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe seal. Unlike in the case of the Sharingan, the appearance of the Mangekyō Sharingan differs from user to user. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, and erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be alleviated by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The techniques used by this eye vary from person to person and is limited to one technique per eye. It can be achieved by the killing of someone who is very close to the user as a display of being willing to sacrifice anything for power. This can not be fooled and be a fake friend. It must be a real and true strong connection so it takes a certain kind of individual to be able to get it. It can also be gotten by extremely brutal and long training, taking many many many years to obtain of constant hard work and dedication, though the person can not be aiming for it and it actually just happens at random. Even with the hardest work, it is possible for an Uchiha to never achieve this level of eye mastery.

Using the copy and counter functions of the Sharingan eye, the Uchiha clan member can stop the sensory spell cast on their body and reverse it back on their opponent. This technique requires the user to have three tomoe in each eye to use it.

While in the air the clan member can manipulate wire to make the blades circle the target, which results in the attached wire binding them.

Description: A Genjutsu technique utilized by Uchiha clan members. They will start this technique by using only one finger on their right hand. The target does not have to look into his eyes, a glance at the hand itself will be enough. Once inside the illusion, they can control the visions the ninja sees. This illusion can also be used to play on the fears of the target, causing them to see and hear those who they care about degrade them.

History:
The Uchiha clan was descended from the elder of the two boys entrusted by the Sage of the Six Paths with the power and will of the way of the ninja. The elder believed that might would bring peace. The Sage chose the younger as more fitting to be his successor, causing the elder to be vengeful. From the younger boy descended the Senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the Uchiha. Before the founding of the ninja villages, the Uchiha were one of the many mercenary clans for hire. Because of their Sharingan, the Uchiha clan came to be known as one of the two strongest clans, the second being the Senju clan. Madara Uchiha was particularly powerful, and, upon attaining the Mangekyō Sharingan, he took control of the clan. Under his leadership the Uchiha grew stronger, conquering whatever clans they came upon, such that, whenever the Uchiha clan was hired for a job, the opposing side would hire the Senju.

Hashirama Senju, the leader of the Senju clan, grew tired of the endless fighting, and approached the Uchiha clan with a peace treaty. Madara feared that an alliance would lead the Uchiha to ruin, but his clan disagreed, and he was forced to accept. The two clans came together to form Konoha, with Hashirama being selected as Hokage. Madara believed that this was proof that the Uchiha would be made subservient to the Senju, but his clan saw this only as his attempt to rekindle the flames of war. They turned their backs on him, and he defected. Following Madara's betrayal, the Second Hokage gave the Uchiha control of the Konoha Military Police Force as a sign of trust. According to Madara, this was really just a way of keeping the Uchiha in check and out of Konoha's governing affairs. Over the years, some Uchiha have figured out this motive's true meaning, and tried to rebel against the village as Madara did, but they found that it was too little, too late to make a difference, as the Senju had already completely suppressed the Uchiha. Eventually a revolt was attempted by a select few Uchiha members, but this was crushed quickly and they were thrown in jail or put to death based on their role in the uprising. The Uchiha who did not partake in it, were not held accountable and after that the relations between the Uchiha and the rest of the village grew stronger and trust was finally instilled.

When Zetsumei was born it was not celebrated by anyone except his mother and father, the reason being is that on this day clansmen and women died, people of the clan lost jobs and failed at their misson. It was the day of 'doom' for the clan as it was the worst day the clan had ever experienced. His mother and father still adored him and did not think he was 'cursed' like the rest of the clan did. They celebrated his birthday for years and years on, alone.

At the age of 5 Zetsumei was a trouble maker and always got into trouble every where for everythi
ng be it stealiing clothes off a washing line or hiding important item it was almost always Zetsumei and his friends and for this he got the nickname Klown. One day while playing a prank he got caught and was taken to his house and was told by his mum to stay in for a week in hope to discipline him, it didn't work.

At the age of 9 Zetsumeis dad decided he should start teaching him some clan techniques as he was only one year away from the academy. Zetsumei learned rapidly and was looking like a true uchiha 3 months into training. He had already learnt the clan techniques he could and the firball jutsu, he just had to get it way bigger. Zetsumei trained alone as his dad said to for hours on end to get his fireball jutsu amazingly big and powerful, which he did, and just in time he did 3 days before his joining day.

At the academy Zetsumei was considered a genius by his teachers as he learned everything so quick and with complete mastery of how a academy student should. Zetumei would finish top of the class easy, in written tests and physical tests he was on top! Zetsumei however did encounter a serious setback as a unknown criminal broke into his room one late night and nearly killed him looking for the Uchiha clan records, luckily his dad was there otherwise Zetsumei would have been dead, one good thing did come out of this though and that was Zetsumei had unlocked his sharingan.

At the point he realised his sharingan was unlocked he induced intense training alone at night whenever he could to strengthen himself as a shinobi and uchiha. After 3 months Zetsumei decide to stop as he felt he needed to do no more to become stronger as he felt he was as strong as he could with his sharingan. Zetsumeis teachers realized this as his sudden performance shot up especially in battle.

Unable to work with a broken leg and serious head damage from the savage attack he had to stay in hospital and study the uchiha clan techniques and hopefully realize how he could get them stronger. 3 months later and Zetsumei was out of hospital and ready to get back into top physical fitness. Zetsumei did this rather quickly and in a short period of time was top in his class again. 2 weeks later the genin exams came which Zetsumei passed easy with flying colors.

As a Genin Zetsumei was flying through hes basic missions with his sensei and two other teammates. Zetsumei liked being a genin as it was alot more fun than being a boring academy student and just studying every minute of every day. Zetsumei got given D rank missions constantly which were easy enough for him as they were just rescue a cat or something like that.

Zetsumei had never been given a C rank mission which kind of annoyed him s missions like retrieving items and what not were boring to him and this meant his effort was barely there. He did know however that he would cotinue doing them to grow as a shinobi and person.

One night there was a injured shinobi at konohas gates and he had just fled from kirigakure and was heading to suna where his relatives were however the shinobi after him wore dangerous but not lethal enough to kill, so Zetsumei and his team were given the C rank mission where he had to escort the battered shinobi to sunagakure. On the way Zetsumei got attacked by the shinobi and fought some of them off but the ring leader was harder to battle against as he was so fast. This caused Zetsumeis tomoe to increase to 2 which meant that the fight was a lot easier than before and in no time at all Zetsumei finished him off.

During the Chuunin exams Zetsumei had seriously injured someone from suna and was forced to stop fighting as the other competitor was unable to fight any longer so he moved on to the finals. In the finals Zetsumei was against a hyuuga that kept on attacking mercilessly, this was easy enough to dodge however it was tiring to do and thus Zetsumei vs a tired hyuuga meant boredom for the crowd until Zetsumei some how managed to force out a fireball jutsu and win the fight.
