Hougaku, Jun [Kumo Chuunin] Vide
PostSubject: Hougaku, Jun [Kumo Chuunin] Hougaku, Jun [Kumo Chuunin] EmptyFri 30 Apr 2010, 3:00 am

Basic Information:
Name: Hougaku, Jun
Secondary Title: The Loyalist
Age: 19
Gender: Male

Physical Appearance:

Hougaku, Jun [Kumo Chuunin] 1163309756_HellsingsAlucard

Quote :
Jun's body is characterized by an array of exercises used to enhance the performance one's self. By training to be very muscular his fat percentage is almost nonexistent, this makes him appear to be very skinny and thus fit for combat. The structure of his bones characterizes him as being tall and very lanky. He has narrow cheek bones with a long nose, covered by pale skin and stern eyes. On the top of his skull he wears a hairstyle which uses the color black and falls below his left eye. His eye color is a dull grey which contrast nicely with the pale skin and black hair. With pale skin it is also smooth and facial blemishes are nonexistent minus the few bags and shadows under the eyes.

His expression is what many would call cynical, but he would describe it as confident. He seems to be happy but he is just imagining the next time he is able to fulfill an order and the reactions he may get upon completing the mission. With is prim and proper ego to match his weird pride he wears Victorian style clothing that is out dated but fairly new in its creation. The jacket is of black color along with the darkly shaded portions of the picture. While on missions he wears the typical Kumogakure shinobi guard in the normal fashion. Head band on the forehead, and some type of standard regulation vest that has been issued to all ninja.

Personality:

Quote :

Old Personality:

Back in the days of the Shadow Complex where murder was the bread and butter you would either be greeted with a respectful hello or a quick slash at your head. Cold hearted and ruthless he fought without taunting nor mercy. Every move was meant to kill and any attempt to escape normally meant your certian death, for he did not hesitate to stab someone in the back. Jun was unapproachable, not many dared speak to him for fear of a conflict or their lifes. He lived alone, ate alone, and blended with the shadows. Every cold blooded murder led him closer and closer to self damnation. Though, once his sword was no longer stained red, he became more human. The day when his work and human sacrifice was repaid with the happiness and prosperity of Kumogakure.

Current Personality:

It was not a great improvement but now he can mingle and has a since of crude humor. Jun is still a bit cold hearted but now he can put a stopper on his old habits and fight with a bit of humanity. The cruel heart of a ruthless manslayer had been abolished, only to surface when he fought someone who had the right pesonality traits that matched his old ego. While many deem him uncaring and arrogant he is really very loyal and just very confident. Jun likes to toy with is opponents but never underestimates them. That may seem contradictory but it is the only way to describe how he fights. If he is fighting someone who does not give him a thrill he berates them with complaints, asking “why are you so weak?”, and” why aren’t you able to give me a better fight”. While it is uncaring and cocky he does have a soft spot for some people that he deems weak but likes to motivate them because of the potential he sees.

He often chastises the people he takes care of but in a playful tone rather than a demeaning tone. On the other hand he is very loyal and respectful to anyone who has beaten him in combat or anyone he knows that have proven themselves in combat. Sometimes, however he may like you just because of the personality you possess. He is very adamant for land and country, agreeing that those who betray lord and land are worthless, though he has certain exceptions to this moral code. One of his rules states that if the lord is betraying one of your set morals, and if the leader is a corrupt or an incompetent.

Jun always follows any order that is given by the government; however it he only follows through if he deems the order just or if the command comes directly from the Raikage. This is for two reasons, one being the fact that he does not like to appear as a kiss ass, and the other is to prevent corrupt officials from going against the Raikage’s wishes. This is very important to him because the Raikage is the best person within the clan that he is a part of. Jun is very strict when it comes to his set of morals and code. He kills heartlessly if he is ordered but refused to commit heinous acts of murder [killing of children/elderly] unless directly told to do so by the Raikage or if it protects the members of his teammates. He would never do that to protect his own life but would to protect his teammates.

To sum Jun up he is quick to act upon his beliefs, slow to act out in hatred and very loyal to country. This makes him very nationalistic so sometimes he may lash out at others but it is very rare. While he judges others on how strong and weak they are he is not quick to assume if they are strong or weak, giving an individual a chance to prove their metal. He knows that a Genin would most likely lose to him, but if that Genin showed heart and valor then he would deem them strong, thus talking to them equally and fairly. Jun loves the thrill of battle, loves his country and would die for it, though he does not seek death.

Underneath his cold and arrogent facade he cares deeply for most people and tries now to repent for his past cold blooded murders by restricting himself and possibly saving those who he would normally have to kill by asking them to surrender. Jun now realizes his old life was not for him and without repentence he would suffer a horrible ending.

Never give an order that can't be obeyed.”

Prologue

Quote :
Before the dust settles within a battle there is the climax which determines who lives and who dies. It is not enough to believe you can live without having the skill to make sure you survive. In an age when honor and courage is all that is important, the strongest defines the era in which either evil prevails or good carries on through the generations. It is an established fact that in a world shrouded with murder there are those who would give their lives to keep the peace for the people’s common welfare.

Within this timeline a land dictated by the land that has the strongest military clans are needed to produce those who are to shape the future. Each village is filled with various groups of people who possess great power and reputation. In each there are people who seek to destroy, and others who choose to create. Whether their powers or mindsets choose this destiny is uncertain, but the Hougaku clan of Kumogakure is destined to create a shimmer of hope for the people of Kumogakure. At the end, when the dust is finally settled the people hope for a peaceful beginning.

An Inspired Future

Quote :
Prior to the birthing of Hougaku Jun there was a female who was born thirteen years ahead of him. She would become known as the third Raikage and the greatest leader of the clan. This woman would inspire all in her clan and thousands of local villagers. It was an honor to rule over others yet fulfilling to be an honorable leader. The promotion of the iron leadership which has made Kumogakure a known superpower could have only been possible due to the ever ending efforts of Hougaku, Riku.

When Riku was twelve Jun was put into conception, nine months after he was born into a loving family and a prosperous clan. During his childhood he would grow to be a part of the nationalistic group that loved Kumogakure above all else. Hougaku, Riku was the heiress to the Hougaku clan, thus everything she did would reflect upon the impressionable Jun. When she became Raikage he was fueled with the fire to become something great and thus becoming an honorable mention to the clan and perhaps the whole of the shinobi world.

The Start of Someone New

Quote :
With all futures there is a beginning and for Hougaku, Jun this happened when two people who loved one another dearly, decided to finally have their first child. One night, in a segregated room within the Hougaku compound they conceived their baby. Already certain on the name they would choose, for they had already envisioned on creating a loyal servant for the clan. It was because his parents were poor, even within the clan their social status was not well known. It would be hard for them to be recognized and they hoped that with his possible greatness that he could become something better than they were. It wasn’t the ideal way that a parent wanted their child to gain a great life but due to their current status as almost lesser than slaves it was something to look forward to. Within nine months Jun was born, a cute baby who was loved by his mother and father.

Within the coming years this boy would become a very loyal asset to the family.
At the age of eight Jun entered the academy. He was nervous as most children are; he was worried that he would be weaker than the other children. His parents were more concerned that the other academy students would pick on him for being a part of a wealthy clan. That those children would resent him for who he was and were worried that Jun would not live up well to the pressures of becoming someone while bearing the Hougaku name. It was uncertain whether or not he would fulfill the hopes of his parents, but there was one thing that was inevitable, and that was the fact that Jun was hungry for success. Even then he knew he wanted to do something great, though he was too young to entirely understand what greatness was.

Upon his arrival to the academy the reaction was not what had been expected by the parents, though it was also not expected from Jun either. He was not even appraised as some weird person or resented, times had changed from when his parents where children, they guessed that the new era had started to behave differently. Though it was certain that there were people like that still it was not apparent in this group of academy students. They greeted Jun, asked his name, and made what would appear as bonds that would last for a long time.

Jun was happy to be in the academy; he looked forward to becoming a good shinboi and live up to the Hougaku name. They were the one of the oldest and most powerful in the village, and most members were expected to rise to some level of prosperity. At the age of eleven he was very formal around his elder’s, Jun wanted to be utterly devout to his country so after being taken away from his parents he was sent to live with Hougaku formalists who lived in the main compound. There, he learned the rules of etiquette and formality, where he eventually forgot his family and was lost. There, at the age of twelve he became a genin and was totally devout to one thing, his country.

Trails of a Warrior

Quote :
Now a Genin he was thrust into the full combativeness of missions. They were not as easy as others had originally thought, some missions that were ranked C were actually at an A ranked threat level. The bad totalitarian regime of the second Raikage had led many government systems to fail and crash. It was not unlikely that the shinobi aspect of the village was too soon to fall into ruin. In the later years they were not allowed to leave the village, the second Raikage had become paranoid in his old age. Soon, villagers were in an up roar, amidst the chaos Jun was ordered by his squad leader to help quell the raging citizens. It was uncertain in the chaos as what was to be done with the up roaring crowd. A lot of angry, innocent citizens died that day and Jun had remembered it very well. Having been brought up eating the lies of the country, he soon found out that his life had been lead by propaganda and stories. It was now in the open that his entire life had been a fake lead by an elderly senile.

Jun had seen many battles; some starting at a young age, the crazed Raikage at war with the Earth village did not care about the safety of his genin. From the ages of twelve to nineteen he had been sent on various assassination missions in whom he had witnessed countless murders and seen many of his friends die. These years of his life had altered his personality into what it is today. He was not exceptionally skilled but strong enough to survive. Even if his stronger and superior Jounin sensei’s died, Jun managed to stay alive not on skill but luck. Then, at the age nineteen when the second Raikage was finally relieved of power and the council took control, the village finally became a stable living environment. Due to the bad rule it was hard for any promotions to be handed out, so from the ages of twelve to nineteen Jun had remained the rank of Genin, not learning much jutsu wise but his taijutsu and experience expanding vastly.

During the next couple of months the stability was good enough that the council members decided to hold a chuunin exam within the village. With the experience that most genin had during that time had made the fights for a rank much harder than anyone would have thought. Of the genin who had managed to survive the crazy Raikage’s unruly commands they were all great fighters. Jun fought better than some and less that others, but because of the match ups he was able to prevail onto the rank, establishing himself as a chuunin shortly before the Hougaku clan raised to critical acclaim with the new Raikage being selected from among their clan. Hougaku, Riku was now the most influential person within the village. Now for Jun the pressure to aspire to something great was heavy, he wanted to be the one that everyone could count on, one that would accept any mission, take any order, and work under any circumstances, the ultimate shinobi.

The Shadow Complex

Quote :
While the coming democracy promised by the newly established government seemed great for the people it was bad for any man or woman who called themselves a ninja. While many citizens were happy with the reformation there were many fat pigs who were going to lose profits now that the totalitarian regime had crumbled. It was now time to pull the weeds and all shinboi of higher rank than Genin were commanded to help the gardening. Unrenowned to the general public two man cells were sent out across the entire country, sent to assassinate radicals and usurpers. It was brutal work and turned the most heroic of men into brutal, cold hearted murderers.

Jun, nineteen and newly promoted was highly impressionable, he wanted to help create the new era in which the people of his country could live in peace. The remnants of the old regime still lingered. By being a member of the Hougaku clan he was one of the first choices to help cleanse the village. Within the next month Jun received all the current Hougaku skill training and the skills to utilize Chuunin ranked jutsu. Within the day for the inauguration of the new Raikage, the two man cells had been dispatched. Even when the new Raikgake preferred diplomacy and democracy, there was no denying that sometimes assassination was a key part into establishing a new era.

Living in the shadows and with the smell of blood Jun and his comrade in arms hid in the dumps of the village, cleaning up the human filth that remained loyal to the second Raikage. Most of them were drunken fools who could not see the loss of their money and lawless life end. During a particularly rainy night Jun was alone for the first time, it was so dark that one could barely see a few inches from their own nose, it was oppressive and yet comforting to an assassin. Jun hid in the lurking shadows of his targets home, waiting for the ingrate to get home.

The lights flickered on, he was apprehensive and nervous about his first assignment in the shadows, he felt that it was unethical to lurk without giving an opponent a fair fight, but he knew that this was necessary for the preservation of peace. It was a woman and a child instead, Jun first wondered if it was a mistake that this was the wrong home however a few moments later the man had walked in. This was not a mistake, he was certain that this was his target. He brought his hands down on the hilt of his standard issue katana, the salt from the hilt stung his opened calluses, and the sting was familiar. With quick strength and without hesitation he sped out of the closet. The man’s head lopped to the floor before he could scream and Jun jumped out the window before the woman and the girl could shriek in terror.

As he plummeted from the window the blood streaked off his sword, mixing with the rain and easily slipping off in a quick trill down the sleek surface. His hand remembered the tension just before the instant in which the blade met the man’s neck tissues. It was not something he liked thinking about so before leaving he wiped the blade off with a blade cleaning towel. Once the blade was clean he but it back into the sheath, finitely and expertly. With a sigh he vanished into the night, leaving the mother and daughter to morn their innocently killed father. Unknown to Jun at the time, he had killed a man who was innocent due to the false information that was intentionally leaked by the real target. Anyone could not even imagine the rage that Jun felt when he realized he had been used as an assassin for a corrupt man’s cause.

Self Serving Redemption, Kumo's Hidden Revolution

Quote :
With his sword in the sheath and hatred in his hands he was frequently able to slash down all those who he had no tolerance for. The evil, the marked, and the damned, all who were ordered to be executed were done so regardless of their past credentials. Anyone and everyone who was certain to cause harm to the new regime were executed by the ferocious Hougaku, Jun. He desperately needed a sheath to quell his anger. Someone, or something to keep him on the right path, otherwise he would be consumed with the hatred for the malevolent bastard who cunningly fooled an infantile government. With each new order and with the quick strokes of his blade his sanity plunged deeper and deeper. A few months passed and nothing had changed, until the slime who had tricked the government had been cornered. This was now his chance for redemption, pure, unadulterated assassination.

A large warehouse with multiple forms of entry loomed in the darkness. It was barely visible within the fog that mixed will with the night sky. It was like being in a well made soup, the warehouse being the source of its flavor as the fog stuck around the edges of the rusted steel walls. Jun’s tightly stitched clothing clung to his skin with its own weird sense of possessiveness, as if the suit were alive itself. It gave a more ominous feeling as well as a greater aura to the task at hand.

His breathing was slow and steady and he came across an overhang. Using chakra to nullify the sound of his feet hitting the floor he landed quietly. He looked around, scanning the area for anyone who might have seen him. When he decided the area was clear he moved along, constantly checking for a disturbance. Then, a guard came around the corner, directly in front of him. Without hesitation Jun stepped up from his crouch, but his left hand over the guard’s mouth and slit his throat with the kunai in his right. As the blood leaked onto his fingers he set the body down on the cold floor, careful to not cause a thud. Pulling the corpse into the shadows he moved onward into the complex.

Hours spent lurking in the shadows, blood split onto the floor, finally found the secret door. Jun peeked under; he noticed two guards and then behind a desk was the man he had been searching for. He stood back from the door and kicked it in, causing the door to push against the two guards. In the confusion Jun teleported past them while they were confused, and before the fat politician could get up he slit his throat with such a hard slash that he started to go through the neck. Then, as the blood oozed out onto the floor the guards had regained their composure and soon a fight ensued, though Jun won with only a minor gash in his stomach. Having successfully completing the assassination without alerting most of the building he managed to get away without any more disturbances. The clean up of Kumogakure took a few more months, but in time the fat of kumo was trimmed by the dutiful task Flash force and the select jounin and chuunin who fought.

Repentance:

Quote :
The senseless killing had to stop; Jun understood this concept very well now. In order to become a recognizable shinboi, a trustworthy ninja he had to reclaim his sanity…or what others may call his mercy. The call for senseless murder had been rung; it was time to redeem himself of all the enraged killings he had taken, of all the mindless hack and slash. Within the coming months he taught himself disciple and a healthy amount of respect for human life.

A few months passed and nothing happened, the adjustment to normal shinobi life was quite refreshing, if not awkward at first. He recently got assigned to a battle squad, he was hesitant at first because his job description was quite similar to what he had been doing for the past couple of months and he was not particularly excited about doing it again. It had been ages since he had seen anything unusual happen and he hoped that would remain the case. With his new philosophy he hoped to change things for the better.

Name: Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Summoning Technique
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: N/A
Description: A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. There are many ways in which the ninja can sign a contract with a summon but it is usually done with the ninja signing a blood contract with the animal species. This allows the user to summon different size and skilled animals to fight along side them, or on their behalf.

Don't forget this jutsu! ;D
