Itsuki has jet black hair as pretty much all Uchiha do that goes down nearly to his shoulders. The bangs are parted to each side, and go down almost to his jaw line. Itsuki’s eyes are dark blue, seemingly black. They are searching, always darting back and forth, as if he were paranoid. Itsuki wears a black shirt and shorts. His wrists are taped, covering his palms, going up, halfway up his forearm. His legs are taped from his ankles, up to his mid-calve. He carries his items in a pouch that is strapped to his waist. The sword that he carries is strapped to his back. A kunai pouch is strapped to his right leg.
Personality:
Itsuki:
Itsuki is a quiet individual. He keeps to himself and he is not one to talk to others. The reason for all of this is simply because he is afraid. For years he had been afraid. Since he was young, something in his mind had been tormenting him. He could always feels its presence since he was 9. When it took control of him, terrible things happened afterward. He never knew when it would surface, so he always lived in fear of its coming. Itsuki is also quiet brilliant, when he is not racked with fear, that is. He is kind to those around him, even submissive at times. He tries to please those around him, simply because, he believes any action that is bad, or wrong, or done in solely for self-gain, might bring out the other thing. He is completely unaware of what is happening to him when his other personality is in control. Throughout the time his other self has been in him, he has slowly grown to hate himself, blaming himself for all the things his other self does. Even though Itsuki does not know, his mind is getting stronger, taking away bits and pieces, slowly, of Kaji’s self. Itsuki likes the quiet, it is when he is at peace. Itsuki enjoys submerging himself in books. He feels that they are all logical, and they keep him at peace, which means as far away from Kaji as possible.
Kaji:
Kaji is a personality inside of Itsuki’s head. He is a sadistic character created out of fear and anger. He enjoys causing others pain. He could be considered insane, simply because he fights like a berserker and destroys whatever he wants. Kaji has complete awareness when Itsuki is in control, but he has no control. He rarely is willing to deal with those around him, in fact, he is more likely to insult another person then to talk to them civilly. He is power hungry, constantly trying to gain control of Itsuki’s body. At the moment, he can only control him for a short amount of time and he can only take control in times of pain, anger, when Itsuki is unconscious, or when Itsuki wills it. He can not take control when Itsuki is asleep. Kaji may be powerful, but even though Itsuki isn’t doing it consciously, he is slowly enveloping Kaji. It will take a long time, but Kaji knows that it is happening. Even though Itsuki does not know it, Kaji can be suppressed. Kaji is just as brilliant as Itsuki, but his interests lean more towards tactics and fighting, in general. Kaji enjoys causing others pain, and he enjoys being free to do what he pleases. The sword is a passion for him.

Special Characteristics: During battle and stressful social situations, especially those that make him feel a negative emotion, his alternate personality comes out. Kaji, as mentioned above, is not the nicest guy to have to deal with. He takes over Itsuki's mind for a limited amount of time and does whatever he wants. The amount of time can be determined by a mod during the approval process. I'd like to suggest a number that is in the double digits, not because I want to have a super badass fighter whenever I want one but because the number is variable based upon situations in the rp. As Itsuki grows more open and makes friends, the number would decrease and vice versa. If that number gets down to 0, Kaji will go away and just for the integrity of the character, I think it shouldn't be difficult for him to get rid of Kaji so easily.

Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

Appearance:
The Katana has a black handle trimmed with gold cloth. The blade is of average length for a Katana at around 25 in. The hand guard is made of simple metal, with some gold trimming, in a circular pattern. The sheath has a similar style to the handle.

Origin: Itsuki received the sword from his uncle not long after his uncle's death. Itsuki didn't know why his uncle had left it to him considering he never used a sword but he knew it was just a regular katana so he kept it.

History:
Itsuki:
Childhood Arc: Itsuki was born to the Uchiha clan. His parents were well respected ninjasHe lived his first years of life happily. His parents were kind to him and treated him well. While he was still young, his parents taught him the basics of jutsu. They never actually put them into practice, but because they could already tell Itsuki was brilliant, they taught him about their art.
However, a few days after his fifth birthday, during a walk through the woods, a man covered from head to toe in black clothing appeared in front of them. He held a kunai. Itsuki quickly began to cry as the man approached them, he wasn’t used to such dangerous situations. His parents were unarmed, because they were off duty and with their son. The man quickly slew the unarmed ninja and left, attacking them with blinding speed. Itsuki was left crying his eyes out. A desire soon formed in his mind. The desire to take vengeance, to control his enemy. His mind had created something new. It would take years for it to develop, but that was the birth of Kaji. A clan member found him later that night, still crying, and brought him back to the village. The reason for his parent’s assassination would not be known. When the clan member checked up on him that night, Itsuki had stopped crying.
Because of the trauma he dealt with, his elders felt it best to send him to his closest living relative, his uncle, who happened to be a major hard ass, to put it bluntly.
Ninja Academy Arc: His uncle, the aforementioned hard ass, made sure to make Itsuki train as much as possible, to get rid of his apparent weakness. As he aged, his training changed gears. He went from simply learning about being a ninja, to actually putting it to practice. He had promise, or so some said. It could have been because he was brilliant, but Itsuki believed that it was simply because they had pity for him. By the time he was 8, he could perform basic ninjutsu and use kunai and shuriken. His change in personality was obvious as well. Those that knew him before the incident knew that he was a happy kid, for the most part, but now, he was much more withdrawn. Kaji had not yet taken full form yet but his uncle knew that something deep within Itsuki’s psyche was growing.
At the age of 9, Kaji was fully manifested. Itsuki, at first didn’t realize it. But soon, Kaji made himself known. During a practice fight, Itsuki was knocked down and he was close to losing. At that moment, Kaji decided to show himself. His opponent needed serious help to leave the ring. From then on, Itsuki was constantly afraid, feeling its presence in his mind. At around this time, Itsuki's uncle died of old age and Itsuki has lived alone ever since.
By the time he was 12, Kaji had taken control of him many times and Itsuki’s mind was racked with fear for every waking moment. His training had progressed to the point where Itsuki was proficient when it came to ninjutsu. At this time, Itsuki began learning to use a sword. It was not a desire he truly wanted, but Kaji had enough power to, even when he was not in control, to get him to learn it.
He became a genin at the age of 13 but has not yet been assigned a jonin or a team to work with.
Kaji:
Kaji was created from the desire for vengeance, for control. It took years for him to form into something conscious. At first, his only evidence for existing was Itsuki’s obvious changes in personality, nothing more. Four years after his formation, he finally manifested into what he is now. From that moment on, he desired control of Itsuki, and for brief moments he got it, only to be suppressed again by Itsuki’s mind. He has a passion for the sword. This is obvious, simply because Itsuki took up the sword, something that he would not do under normal circumstances. Kaji wanted to use the sword and he spread the thought throughout Itsuki’s consciousness until, finally, Itsuki obtained a sword. Kaji was ecstatic. Finally, his desire for a sword was fulfilled. Immediately, simply because of his joy, he took control of Itsuki. He soon became a brilliant swordsman.
Role-Play Sample:
Itsuki woke from a terrible nightmare. He had that dream again and this time he knew it was for real. Looking around, he noticed that he could not remember when he went to bed last night. The last thing he remembered was hitting the ground after a mugger hit him from behind. He never even saw the mugger's face, Itsuki just blacked out. One would think that that would mean he'd find himself on the street still but Itsuki was different. He knew that that thing took over his mind again. After coming to that realization, he looked at his hands and the blade that lay peacefully next to his bed. They were both covered in blood. Immediately Itsuki's expression changed from one of sleepiness to shock. He held his hands out and backed away from the blade. He knew he was a ninja but even then the sight of blood was an unexpected one especially so early in the morning. Trying his best, he pushed the thought of what became of that mugger out of his head, he knew it would only cause him pain in the long run. Sitting up and side stepping the blade, he made his way to his sink, which wasn't very far away in his cramped apartment that his uncle had left him. Wanting the blood off him, he rubbed his hands together under the flowing water. After that, he got dressed and cleaned the blade. Once he finished, he stood up, ready to leave for the day. |
