| Drenched. Cold. Yet still happy, Ahora lead the newly acquainted Isamu Senju, Jounin of the Hidden Sand Village. She was saturated from head to toe in rain and her clothing became awfully see-through, not that she minded. She had a flawless body and a perfect physique and she loved to flaunt that fact, especially to the trailing Jounin. They had already introduced each other and had already established the bounds of this visit and she was already acting as his escort so as to complete the mission required of him. She had also established that he was extremely good looking and she would certainly love to get to know him better, when he wasn't on such official business. As such, she was half-expecting the Jounin to be having explicit and provocative thoughts of her in which she really didn't mind, she was having the same of him and she was ever so tempted to complete her thoughts; but she held being a ninja in the highest regards and wouldn't want to jeopardize that just for a one-time thing with this shinobi. But.. she could dream for now.
The pair had walked through the arches of the fortress, in through the large door, passed Arashii's receptionist, past Ahora's room in which she informed Isamu again of, up the stairs, through the long hallway and finally to the Lord Mizukage's Office. It was a mandatory requirement of anyone and everyone to knock on the door before entering, except for Ahora of course. She turned the handle of the door before quickly throwing it aside and walking straight on in. Using hand gestures, she informed told Isamu to wait until Arashii ordered him in. She stood by the entrance way before promptly speaking, "Isamu, Jounin of the Hidden Sand is outside awaiting for you. May I ask him in?"

| Purely Diplomatic Relations, Or So We Think.
Starring Nakamura, Arashii Senju, Isamu Sousakara, Ahora Rain poured from the heavens as Arashii entered the Mizukage’s Fortress finally being sheltered from the rain. He removed his blue and white Mizukage robe which was a modified version of the traditional uniform which allowed him to travel in wet conditions such as these, it had a cloaked hood inside of the Mizukage’s hat which was more suitable for the rain and kept Arashii hair as dry as possible. The Mizukage had just returned from running a small yet important errand in the village and was accompanied by two guards as per usual; one of them was a male Chuunin and the other a female Jounin. The Mizukage conversed politely with his two escorts about the weather and how glad they were to be indoors as they passed the entrances receptionist desk. Arashii still remained involved in the conversation as he took a moment to politely acknowledge the group of receptionists that sat behind the large desk. The young Kage seemed to be in good spirits despite the horrendous weather that was outside but for reason for this was unknown. The three ninja advanced up the stairs still chatting about whatever they were chatting about until they reached Arashii’s office, passing one of Arashii’s personal receptionists and nodding to her politely to let her know she was back. Arashii farewelled his escorts as they continued down the hall to the lounge to get dry and have a lunch before they headed back out for any other tasks they had to do for today, but now Arashii was to attend back to some boring paperwork or if he was lucky a few appointments.
His receptionist entered shortly after the Mizukage got comfy in his seat, knocking before entering as her innocent little face peered through the door smiling. “Mizukage-sama, I just received a message from one of the Chuunin Guards at the Main Entrance, apparently a Jounin from Sunagakure no Sato has entered the village requesting to see you and is now being escorted by Ahora-san.” The young lady spoke, barely entering the room to inform her superior of the news. “Ahhh, something interesting then. Thank you for that my dear.” Arashii said as they exchanged warm smiles before she gently pulled the door closed. Arashii prepared himself, removed his wet robe and sitting in the comfortable black long-sleeved shirt that hid underneath his cloak. Arashii would pick up a pen and spin it in between his middle and index fingers on his right hand to entertain himself until this office door suddenly was forced open. The lack of a knock beforehand suggested one of two things, either an extremely rude visitor who had yet witnessed the wrath of the young Mizukage, or the more likely situation; Ahora had arrived with the guest.
Ahora’s voice projected from the doorway almost as soon as she presented herself to Arashii telling him that Isamu from the Hidden Sand Village was behind her and in other words, requested the Mizukage’s time. Arashii gestured her with his left hand which suggested letting the guest enter. “Yes Ahora, yes-“ he repeated himself with a brief pause. “Let him enter.” Arashii spoke still with a warming tone in his voice. “But your prompt words suggest you have other places to be my dear, so feel free to see yourself out.” Arashii spoke with complete respect and politeness when he did sure. He did expect Ahora had other places to be and this meeting was between Arashii and Isamu anyway, so Ahora would not intervene with the Mizukage’s business unless asked to.
As the man entered Arashii’s office, the Mizukage briefly stopped spinning his pen as he examined his countries newest visitor. The man stood just short of Arashii with incredibly short jet black hair with eyes surprisingly matching the colour of his hair, his square jaw line supporting his muscular figure; especially around his neck and shoulders. The man was familiar, but it took Arashii a few moments to actually realize where he knew this man from. Isamu was one of the two escorts the Kazekage had accompany him to the Kage Summit in Tea Country just almost just over a month ago. He stood with the behemoth of an ogre that barely looked like a human. Surely the man was quite the tough shinobi if he was hand-picked by the Kazekage as a guard, but in saying that; so was Arashii’s guards and it was extremely easy for the Mizukage to dispatch Demo Hyuuga and he could probably crush Ahora into little particulars of dust if he wished too, if he didn’t actually care for the kunoichi. So Arashii wasn’t intimidated or concerned by Isamu’s presence, however; he was extremely intrigued. “Please take a seat, Isamu. What brings you to Kirigakure?” Arashii politely asked, though he already had predicted why Isamu was here. |

| The room smelt damp. Ahora, the only female within the room knew exactly why this was the case and she also acknowledged that a good reason to this being the case was because of the extremely wet clothing she was wearing. Extremely wet and extremely see-through, oh the benefits of wearing cream-white colored clothing in the Hidden WATER village. Water, the most abundant and dominating resource on earth and a fitting name for the most dominating village in the known world. And sitting before her was the young Mizukage Arashii Nakamaru, as casual as you like twirling a pen as acrobatically as any ninja would like. That would easily be one of Arashii's favorite pastime when he was bored, improving his finger skill with a pen. Ahora knew that Arashii was too afraid to try it with something more dangerous like a kunai or a shuriken - which was fair enough as a good majority of his work as a Kage was with a pen and his fingers. To not have his fingers especially could be detrimental to the young Kage indeed. And with those exact fingers he beckoned for Ahora to allow the guest in.
He seemed to be somewhat out of breathe as he responded to Ahora having to repeat his response twice. Maybe it was due to the awestruck feeling he possessed at seeing Ahora's flawless body or maybe he was somewhat of a chain smoker. She didn't know of the latter if that were the case and she knew Arashii better then anyone. Arashii then continued and spoke the exact intention of Ahora; she was quite busy and she had to stop her preparations for a new mission just to collect the Suna Jounin. She had performed that simple task, however and was now planning to allow the Suna Jounin to complete his own mission whilst she went and prepared for her own.
Ahora gave a tiny nod at the young Mizukage and a quick smile before turning around, stepping out of the office and greeting Isamu Senju yet again. "Fortunately for you and unfortunately for me, Arashii is ready for you which means I must leave you .." she trailed that on a second longer then needed before continuing, "to confer with him." She was playing with them both, teasing them as if this was her game and she was the Master and Commander. She was tempting two of the most powerful ninja of the two villages and she was enjoying it. She then stopped and allowed Isamu to begin walking in between the door-frame and her present body. To perform so, the Jounin would need to turn his body slightly towards her to fit comfortably; something that would be second nature to almost anyone. Surely enough, the Jounin did so and Ahora moved her hand up and using the points of all 5 of her fingers, brushed it along the chest-area of his suit, making it blatantly obvious of her interest in the shinobi whilst adding a little something; thankfully the color of the jacket was black, disguising the seal. She then whispered so only he could hear, "I'll see you around, cutie." before performing a Sousakara Clan favorite jutsu and becoming a pool of brown color, just as the color of Arashii's floor was and disappearing into it without any trace. Ahora re-submerged back in her room where she continued her preparations. Thanks to Isamu's black suit, Ahora no longer needed to be in the room to experience their following conversation .. and it would help Ahora to keep an eye on someone as powerful as he. Just in case.
Jutsu's Used: - Quote :
- Name:Torakkingu Fuu (Tracking Seal)
Type: Ninpo Element: Seal Rank: D Effects: After placing a basic seal on an object, or person, this jutsu allows the user to sense not only their location relative to himself, but also give a blurry picture of their surroundings. Not accurate enough to distinguish an enemy face, but accurate enough to get the general idea of what is going on. Requires a 4-finger touch to seal.
Name: Colour Flicker Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Element: Kekkei Genkai Description: A technique where the user activates the Shikisōsa's chakra system and whilst becoming in contact with a solid color, allows the user to effectively 'travel' through that solid color and emerge at that identical color, at will. For example, if there is a purple circle on the floor, the user can 'step into' the color and appear at another purple circle several meters away. Has a range of 1km of travel. |

| The rain really was pouring down hard and each droplet sent a shiver down Isamu’s spine. His body wasn’t used to this much rain. His copper brown skin seemed to drink it up, glad to have some source of hydration, finally. But Isamu didn’t mind this rain. His clothes, which were altered slightly because he had been expecting this wetter environment, were still drenched and clinging to his body for support. Normally, Isamu wouldn't've taken such noticed to the suceeding fact, but he liked the way the water made his clothes cling to his muscles, make them seem to protrude out more and seem bigger. He hoped Ahora had noticed that fact, too. Keeping a footstep or so behind Ahora, each water droplet made her body ever so slightly more visible, which sent an unfamiliar pang of pleasure through him. He was not used to these kinds of emotions. He had never really been attracted to a woman this much before and he wasn't sure whether it was a good thing or not. Probablt not, right now, considering this was a cery important, diplomatic mission between two villages which could help make or break their alliance together. It really was getting hard to stop the smile from forming on his face, even though he knew Ahora couldn’t see him. Her body was just so slender, so supple, so perfect. "Focus Isamu, concentrate." he forced himself to think. His eyes were forced to wander once more, giving Isamu a chance to revel at the Mizukage’s Fortress. The building was truly phenomenal and Isamu hadn’t even taken a step inside yet! It was hard to explain, but the building held some sort of aura about it, as if important things had been happening in and around it for centuries. It was as if Kirigakure no Sato revolved around this building and this building alone. The grey stone seemed dull, but Isamu knew there was plenty more about it than the eye could tell; even his analytical ones. Moss grew across some of the stones, beautifully, adding some green to the scenery. Of course, that was not the case with most other buildings in this village. Isamu thought calmly to himself as the crunching of gravel turns to the squeaking of flooring as Ahora lead Isamu into the building, giving him plenty more to look at than just herm, which he was thankful for. He was trying to keep his mind on others things and off a certain someone.
The corridor was well lit and they walked past a receptionist at the entrance, who Isamu gave a polite nod to as he walked back, with which she returned a brief but warm smile, her glasses steaming up slightly. He wondered if he had this effect on lots of women. He wasn't usually aware of his appeal to women until now, but it might simply be because his confidence was slowly rising. He didn't want to get arrogant, so Isamu shaked his head and would save thinking about things so trivial for later on. As they continued down the corridor, Isamu heard Ahora take an irregular intake of breath, so knew she was about to speak. His body jolted slightly and he stopped analysing the corridor and got ready to listening, ignoring the squeaks their wet shoes made as they walked. ”That there is my office.” she extended her arm and pointed to a door. His eyes trailed up the soft flesh of her arm, past the crook joining her forearm and biceps and down past her slender hands. Finally spotting the door, Isamu made a mental note to memorize its location, considering he already had an invite from Ahora to enter it, which pleased him immensely and he was sure he would use. That was all they said to each other for the rest of the walk, even though the chemistry was still there, sparks flying between them. Isamu pondered why Arashii considered Ahora his most trusted assistant, yet her office was on the floor below his. ”I would’ve thought they’d be right next to each other,” Isamu pondered to himself. They walked up the stairs slowly, not rushing. This pleased Isamu, as he wanted to spend as much time like this as possible before he had to revert back to his professional mode, especially in the presence of the Mizukage. He thought he would be much more nervous about meeting the Mizukage, but he wasn’t. Ahora was a good antidote for that. She kept distracting him from his own thoughts and emotions, not giving him room to be nervous about the upcoming meeting. He knew though, once she was gone, it’d probably hit him like a ball of kunai. This made Isamu hope Ahora would be present for the meeting, although he doubted it very much, which sent a pang of worry and sadness through him. He wanted to know where she would this be, albeit it would be impossible, unless she mentioned something on the way out.
Finally, they reached the door which was clearly the Mizukage’s. They were at the top of the Fortress, this door was alone and it had certain features about it that made it obvious this door belonged to a shinobi of importance. Without even hesitating, Ahora opened the door and Isamu got a sneak peek of what was inside. He saw a man slightly younger than himself sat in a chair behind his desk, but that was all. Ahora’s body blocked the rest of his view and she gestured with a hand for him to wait there, pulling the door ajar behind her as she entered the Mizukage’s office. "Isamu, Jounin of the Hidden Sand is outside waiting for you. May I ask him in?" she asked, not in the tone he would expect. She spoke to the Mizukage as if he were a brother, not a leader. This gave Isamu the impression the relationship between the two Kirigakure ninja was more than professional, to which he found himself clenching his right fist involuntarily. As soon as he noticed, he unclenched it, just in time to hear the Mizukage reply. “Yes Ahora, yes-“ the Mizukage spoke lightly, leading Isamu to think he was in a better mood than he had anticipated. The last time Isamu was here, the shinobi were very different to his home village, but not in a good way. They had seem a lot more pessimistic, but it was probably something to do with their village's current state. It wasn't good, last time he had been there, but it was a known fact that currently, Kirigakure no Sato was at the top of it's game. All the more reason for Sunagakure to become good allies with them. Not that Isamu thought his own village was weak, because their progression was steady but constant, but he didn't want a war if he could avoid it. "Let him enter." Arashii spoke again, this time with more warmth than before. Isamu tried his best to re-arrange his angry facial features as he expected Ahora to turn and fetch him, but she could obviously see the Mizukage was about to speak again. "But your prompt words suggest you have other places to be my dear, so feel free to see yourself out,” Arashii finalised. Isamu heard no reply from Ahora, but her hand slipped graciously around the side of the door and gently pulled it open again. This time, Isamu ignored the fact the door was slightly ajar and focused solely on what she had to say.
"Fortunately for you and unfortunately for me, Arashii is ready for you which means I must leave you..." Ahora spoke softly to Isamu, her voice enticing him like a siren's. She left her words hanging in the air for a moment more than necessary, Isamu mentally willing her to continue. "To confer with him." she said, finishing her previous sentence, much to the relief of Isamu. She then gestured for Isamu to enter the office, but her body was still in the door frame, so for him to pass, he must brush against her body. Whilst Isamu wanted nothing but, he didn't want to see rude. On the other hand, they were wasting time out here and if he wasted much more the Mizukage would wonder what the hell was going on. "Just do it." Isamu told himself, taking step forward and pivoting his body slightly sideways without making it obviously, shivers running down his spine as he was so close to Ahora he could smell her heavenly scent. It was at this point Ahora surprised Isamu completely, placing her left hand on his chest and running up to his neck slowly. His blood was pumping faster than was necessary and he was sure he felt some other sensation he couldn't put his finger on. She then whispered close to his ear. "I'll see you around, cutie." Isamu didn't even have time to reply as he watched her off, performing a jutsu which allowed her body to fill up brown, the same colour as the floor as she seemed to disappear into it, making her look like liquid. Taking a moment to compose himself, Isamu gently opened the door and entered the office of the Mizukage.
His eyes flashed quickly to the only movement in the room that was not his own. The Mizukage was twirling a pen between his fingers, but abruptly stopped, evidently noticing Isamu was looking. Perhaps Isamu had met his match, when it came to being analytical. This was rare and slightly exciting. Even sitting down, Isamu noticed the Mizukage's body tone was much slighter than his own, his skin much paler, due to the lack of sun he must experience in his own village. His hair was deep black and quite spiky. But Isamu didn't take much care for his appearance. One look gave him all he needed to know, about that. He had already met this man a month or so ago at the Kage Summit. His mind gave him a slight flashback of this event, but not for long at all. That memory was saved and locked away. He accessed rather a lot, as it was an interesting time. “Please take a seat, Isamu. What brings you to Kirigakure?” Arashii said, gesturing to the seat on the opposite side of the desk in front of him. His arm was much different to Ahora's as he gestured and held none of the same attraction. But Isamu put that aside, he needed not to think about Ahora now. He would be with her later, it seemed. He really did hope her relationship with Arashii was something more of a sibling, like he had assumed in the first place. Sitting down in the chair Arashii had gestured to, he replied. "I'm sure you already know why I am here, Mizukage-sama." He paused slightly, taking another breath. "The purpose of this mission is for me to ensure the relationship between our villages is a strong now as it has ever been, especially considering we have entrusted our Genin to your village, for the duration of these exams." Keeping his eyes on the man in front of him, Isamu wondered what this meeting could esculate in to... |

| Watching Ahora stand in the frame of his door as a figure finally emerged beside her and was forced to push past the flirtatious kunoichi. The Mizukage could not help but survey the movements of Ahora’s hand with made him grasp his pen tightly momentarily to the point that he heard a slight cracking sound in it, one that wouldn’t even carry over to the doorway. Because of the noise that was the pen warning Arashii that it was possibly about to explode into pieces out of his grip, he would take it upon himself to loosen the grip once more as Ahora disappeared around the corner, Isamu turning to watch her depart, Arashii could next see through the wall so he had no idea what this guest of Kirigakure was watching Ahora do, but Arashii knew how seducing the ‘colourful’ kunoichi acted and thus had his suspicions.
Eventually he would be joined by the Sunagakure Jounin who would follow Arashii’s direction and sit before him as Arashii asked the obvious question. The man who clearly appeared to be a few years older than the young Mizukage spoke in response to Arashii’s question almost instantly as he sat. Addressing him as Mizukage-sama as he stated that it should have been quiet obvious to them both. Taking one more breath in before properly responding to the Lord Mizukage. "The purpose of this mission is for me to ensure the relationship between our villages is a strong now as it has ever been, especially considering we have entrusted our Genin to your village, for the duration of these exams." Arashii looked across at the man as he spoke and continued to do so while his words came to a close. The two stared at each other for almost ten seconds in silence before Arashii’s face smirked gently, dropping his eyes and leaning back in his chair, Arashii looked at his desk as he began to flick his pen between his two fingers once more, finally responding to Isamu. “Of course I had my suspicions, but one can never be too sure.” His words almost seemed to have some secondary meaning behind them but he speculated whether Isamu would have picked it up or not. The man seemed analytical, almost as much as Arashii but he certainly would not have had any idea what Arashii would be referring too even if he had picked up on it.
His eyes wavered from side to side, looking down at his desk. The Mizukage brought his eyes back up tipping his head back only the slightest while doing so, as his lime green eyes met his guests black ones. “But yes, village relations you say?” his question was rhetorical and he left no time for Isamu to reply to ensure that he had understood that. “I question what relations you speak of, would you be referring to the relationship between the two nations of Sunagakure and Kirigakure-“ he paused for a second or two once more before continuing yet again. His pen flicking even more rapidly in between his knuckles. “Or would you be referring to the relations between my associate Ahora and yourself?” His pauses seemed dramatic, but they weren’t something he would allow to linger as he was not finished and would not allow Isamu to cut him off. “I’m usually not quick to pass a judgement unless I have inspected and analysed my target thoroughly. But I find it hard that a man of your stature, somebody the Kazekage appears to have such an extraordinary trust for, would be fooled by a Diva who is internationally famous for teasing men to get an advantage. A flirtatious nature that could compete with that of the Raikage herself.” Arashii had finished, he suspected that Isamu had realized this. The Mizukage sat properly in his chair once more, adjusting his posture to wait for the response of the man as he placed his pen back on the table. It was no longer time for games.
OOC: Sorry for the disappointingly short length in comparison to your post. I hurt my arm today and it hurt to write with my elbow bending as it does so I had to cut my initial post in half. I also didn't get to drool over Ahora like you did for three paragraphs, haha. But it was a remarkable post Aaron, very well written. |

| Their eyes stayed locked for much longer than any man would be comfortable. Their looks were steely yet expressionless, as if one another were trying to get a glimpse at the other's mind and into their soul. Of course, this was impossible, so after ten seconds, the Mizukage dropped his gaze. He had smirked and then leant back in his chair. Isamu didn't feel the need to hold back his gloating smirk, glimmering with the pride of his victory. He had not allowed the Mizukage to psyche him out, like others before him had. Whilst this victory on it's own seemed weak and feeble, it was still what it was, so Isamu was proud of that. The reason he allowed his smug smirk to slip through the cracks of his controlled expressions was the fact that if the Mizukage bothered to question into it, he could easily say he was just returning a smile, being polite. Of course, this was not the case. Ordinarily, he would've just assumed nobody would bother to look that far into one mere display of emotion, but he didn't put this past Arashii, as he was a very analytical man. The chair bounded back as he spoke, "Of course I had my suspicions, but one can never be too sure.” These words seemed to have a secondary meaning, but to what, Isamu was not sure. His mind was working hard to try and decipher the puzzle Arashii had set him, but there were multipled mind-blocks which pervented him from doing so in the time-frame he had been set, as the Mizukage started speaking again, Isamu could still try to mentally unhinge the secondary meaning, but at a much slower rate, as he needed to listen, analyse and decipher the Mizukage's next words, too. It was like an ongoing pile of work. "This mission has a lot more to it than meet's the eye."
Deciding to leave the previous sentence to analyse when he had unlocked more clues from the Mizukage's further words, Isamu sharpened his ears and listened to what Arashii was about to say. His eyes had been wandering across his desk, until he brought them up, once again, to meet Isamu's. The charge of tension was electric and easy to feel between both parties. "You don't need to be an analytical man to know something is going to blow up here," Isamu thought to himself. Wondering what exactly would blow up, Isamu allowed his eyes to wander around the room lazily, as if nothing in here were really of interest to him. He half-hoped Arashii picked up on this arrogant attitude. “But yes, village relations you say?” Arashii asked, surprising Isamu. "Are you really that stupid?" Isamu thought in shock, but deep in his mind he knew this was just a mind trick, trying to set him overboard. That simply wouldn't happen. It couldn't happen. Isamu thought about nodding to answer Arashii's question, but he didn't want that embaressment in case it was rhetorical, as he had his suspicions. These were confirmed when Arashii continued, giving Isamu what he must've thought was 'no time' to respond, but of course, his high physical prowess and analyitcal and mental abilities would've allowed him to intercede if he really wanted to. “I question what relations you speak of, would you be referring to the relationship between the two nations of Sunagakure and Kirigakure-“ the Mizukage paused dramatically, but whilst Isamu took note of this he was already mentally responding to the question.
"You dare to question the Kazekage? Your confidence will be your downfall, Arashii. You really are trying to make yourself seem stupid aren't you? I know more about you than that, more than you think... What other relationship would there be?" These thoughts rushed through his head with perfect clarity, ending with his own mental 'tut' at these thoughts. Of course, Arashii would have no idea how much was going on inside Isamu's capable brain, as his expression stayed strong, hard and calm. During this dramatic pause the Mizukage had left lingering in the air like a bad smell, he continued to click his pen rapidly, the noise drilling into Isamu brain, so he decided to block it out. “Or would you be referring to the relations between my associate Ahora and yourself?” Isamu had to exert almost all of the control he had, all of the control he had been taught in his twenty-eight years of life to not jump up over the desk and attempt to rip Arashii's head off. A monster in his chest rose like fire, emotionally burning him from the inside, out. He had never experienced anything like this before. The urges the monster granted him were so violent. To cut Arashii's throat in half and dance in the blood that woudl squirt out, ruby red and shining. The images were clear and graphic, like a genjutsu that he didn't even want to break. The fact her referred to her, like property. It made Isamu sick, sick to his core. "My associate? Stupid..." This thought was finished with another roar from the monster in his chest. The fact Ahora had unlocked his emotions which he had kept trapped away from anyone for years scared him, she had made them flood his body again, so controlling them around her (or the subject of her) was incredibly difficult. Isamu had never been presented an emotional task this difficult before. He used his spirit and mind to console and calm the monster, but not vanquish it. It was still there, purring in mute anger as Isamu worked on his response. Whilst a raging battle had been taking place inside Isamu, his exterior had showed nothing. Barely a second had passed since Arashii had uttered his sentence, so Isamu thought it were time to respond. Luckily for him, he didn't need to.
A flirtatious nature that could compete with that of the Raikage herself.” It was apparent that Arashii had wanted to finish his whole speech before he even gave time for Isamu to respond. Of course, Isamu did have time to respond, but he didn't want to interrupt and seem rude. The mission, was the overall purpose of him being in Kirigakure no Sato and it needed to be a success. He saw what Arashii was doing though. By giving Isamu what he thought was 'no-time' to talk, he was getting his power fix, trying to exert vocal control over him. Since Isamu was aware of this, he didn't let it affect him. The monster in Isamu's chest reacted violently when Arashii called Ahora a 'diva', scaring Isamu. Of course, his abilities kept in control, like he knew they would. But still, the concept was scary. Isamu could feel the crack rupture down his heart as Arashii mentioned Ahora's flirtatious nature. "So she's not actually interested in me at all. She's loyal to him." The sadness overwhelmed him. Now he was contending with two problems; the monster wanting to violently kill Arashii in bloodlust and the, what Isamu could only assume was, heartbreak Ahora and Arashii combined had dealt him. "My my, aren't they a duo?" Isamu thought angrily to himself, in spite of himself imagining Arashii and Ahora locked in a romantic embraced. He peeled this image from his mind, like dead skin. Whilst he was certainly not over Ahora, he knew there was no use wallowing and allowing this to throw him off course. That was what Arashii wanted. He kept his emotions distant, something he was awfully good at. When Arashii mentioned the Raikage, Isamu's mind flashed back to the Kage Summit the second time the day, again, for her appearance and personality.
Finally, Isamu knew Arashii had finished. He adjusted his posture in his chair and made somewhat of a show of placing his pen back on the table. Isamu watched him and didn't respond until he had finished. "Whilst I appreciate the concern, Mizukage-sama, I am talking of only the relationship between our two villages." Isamu kept his face warm and calm and his voice in the same tone of militant authority. Not overpowering to Arashii, but showing him how he was wrong. "Of course, if emotional relationships were to develop between two shinobi of our villages, I doubt that would really be a problem." Isamu had decided to 'fall' into Arashii's mental trap and lead the conversation this way. Whilst he was saying it, he imagined himself with Ahora in the sandy plains of Sunagakure, how she would react to being in a different environemnt. It made the monster in his chest calm down much easier, but the heartbreak panged deeped, accompanied by butterflies tickling his stomach lining. "But of course, nothing of the sort is happening between myself and Ahora-chan." His words contradicted their own meaning, as he applied the '-chan' honorific to Ahora's name on purpose. Whilst this would seem condescending and rude to a higher-ranked shinobi or one of higher status, Isamu was making it known he saw Ahora as an equal and nothing more. They were both assistants of their respective Kage and both of the same ranking, so he didn't see why it would be a problem, but he was sure Arashii would pick up on what he had said. The games had only just begun...
OOC:- No worries Adam, I didn't find your post disappointing. It was easy to work with, so for that, I thank you. It's not a competition and like you said, quality is not over quantity, but equal to it. The quality of your post was just fine, so please, don't worry about that. I hope your arm and elbow get better soon. I'm sure your drooling would've been very intersting indeed to read, haha. Thank you Adam, likewise with yours. |

| His estimation was completely accurate, Isamu acted completely expressionless as Arashii spoke of Ahora. There were many who sat in his positions before and couldn’t sit there not reacting, few shinobi grew a backbone and attempted to attack the infamous Mizukage, unsuccessfully of course; but an attack none the less. Surprisingly though, this was the first time a Sunagakure shinobi sat in the seat opposite of Arashii and had this kind of conversation. Women were really troublesome it would appear, the actions that occurred in this room could have the capability of starting a war between nations if Isamu was as valuable to the Kazekage as Arashii predicted. None the less, consequences were something that had to be delivered if Isamu would be foolish enough to think with any other body part that wasn’t his brain. Sometimes Arashii questioned whether Ahora knew the trouble she would cause in such diplomatic missions like this. Whether she did or she didn’t, concern wasn’t something she would show toward the matter. Flirting was something she saw as a benefit, usually using her body as a weapon of some sort, to alter a man’s goal into something else; giving Arashii the upper hand.
However, the Mizukage never expressed how much it would actually inconvenience him because conversations like these one’s would eventually transpire and Arashii would end up with a dead body in his office, if he chose not to crush it into oblivion. The man was good, but Arashii could tell he was uneasy, not by his body language, not by the tone in his voice; no physical changes occurred at all. That however, was the mistake in itself the fact that he would not react to even the accusation the Mizukage had made if it was false clearly gave it away. He must have been trying so hard not to respond or react in an incorrect manor towards Arashii, to keep himself composed for the benefit of his nation, Sunagakure no Sato.
Arashii was actually impressed, he sat prepared the whole time, almost eagerly awaiting the man to respond hastily or engage the Mizukage physically so he could bring this appointment to a swift close, obviously then declining Sunagakure’s appeal for an alliance. Isamu remained focused on his task at hand, finally responding to Arashii, saying village relations were his only concern, and his only purpose. Arashii leaned forward crossing his arms on the table, still distant from Isamu his movement was not in order to intimidate, he merely wished to change his posture, as the man’s interesting words penetrated the eardrums of Arashii. Isamu said that if emotional relationships developed between shinobi between the two nations he wouldn’t see it as a problem. Then following it up to state nothing was happening between him and Ahora.
The way Isamu presented himself was impeccable; his words seemed to slip off the tongue but seemed to be extremely well thought out, just like Arashii. It seemed the two had a lot in common, but what Arashii was looking for was did these similarities go to such an extent that it involved interest in Ahora. Arashii wished to figure this out, immediately but he too was very particular with how he approached a situation. In his own way, he was very direct and open about how he felt about something but his wording played a key purpose into how the message would be delivered.
The Mizukage had figured that Isamu would have worked this out by now, being as analytical as he appeared; once again just like Arashii. He felt it would be a brilliant idea to catch this emotionless Sunagakure-nin off guard with an unexpected response. “Tell me Isamu, how much do you know about me? I ask because I merely wish to know how big of an idiot you believe I am.” Arashii followed this out with a pretentious smile as he remained leaning upon his desk crossed armed. Arashii hoped he didn’t receive another false or generic response especially if it was Isamu once again playing stupid and responding with something like “What do you mean?” If that was the case, this meeting would really be coming to a quick end. |

| Silence. The office was delved into an oblivion of silence. There was no noise, Isamu wasn't breathing and he couldn't hear Arashii doing so either. "That doesn't mean he's not." The silence was deafening, Isamu wanted nothing more than for it to end. He didn't know what to do, he didn't know what to say. So he did what Isamu does best, he sat there, rigid back, in a military posture, his lips tightly sealed, his face expressionless, waiting for a response out of the man before him. Isamu practically felt the rush of endorphins as Arashii took in an irregular breath, to speak, to break this silence that was clinging onto them like the wet conditions outside did to Isamu and Ahora's clothes. A mental image of Ahora's sodden and thin clothes popped into his mind and Isamu was about to fantasize over it, but he remembered Arashii's words about Ahora's flirtatious nature, so he tried to eradicate them from his mind, for now. But it was difficult. Her being kept popping up in his mind, right infront of his eyelids, as if forcing himself to look at her flawless shape. It was tormenting. Everytime she appeared, which was every few seconds, disappearing only to re-appear again, the monster in his chest roared with delight, the butterflies in his stomach did a backflip and his heart shivered in spite. The sensations were so weird, so new. Isamu had never felt anything like them before. Perhaps that was what made them so fresh, so contrast, so strong. He had been controlling his emotions for so long that when Ahora finally unlocked his heart, it was like a floodgate. All of his emotions over the years flooded his body, filling him with emotions he wasn't even aware he had. Isamu already knew what he was going to do now, so he was eager to do it. He wanted this mission over, so he could get about his business in Kirigakure no Sato. So he decided to change his strategy, and play the good boy...
Changing his posture, Isamu placed his legs lightly on the ground and allowed his body to relax up gently. He didn't make a show of it, because there was no need. Having analysed that Arashii was a particularly analyitical man, Isamu knew Arashii would notice this easily, considering he wasn't even trying to hide it. It would be like spotting a needle in a haystack, if you burnt the haystack to the ground with a fire jutsu. The needle might be a little melted, but you'd still find it easily. “Tell me Isamu, how much do you know about me? I ask because I merely wish to know how big of an idiot you believe I am.” Isamu's stomach dropped when these words were uttered from Arashii's mouth and the butterflies hit the bottom of his stomach like steel, making him want to retch and vomit in surprise. "Wow, these emotional sensations are weird..." Isamu thought to himself, rather scared. Of course, he had kept his relaxed demeanour, so he knew he would have to react differently this time if he wanted his charade to work effectively. These were the words that could make or break this mission. Giving the testosterone in the room, it looked as if battle were fated to commence here. Isamu wanted to get out of there before that happened. They were in Arashii's office, so Isamu was sure there'd be some sort of advantage for him there in the room. He had already analysed it himself, but it hadn't been at the top of his agenda, so Arashii would still have the analytical advantage here. Anywhere, in Kirigakure, really. "How much do I know about you?" Isamu repeated, scratching his chin in a mock thoughtful manner. He decided ass-kissing was the way to go, here. "I know you are the Mizukage of Kirigakure no Sato and you are doing an excellent job of it. I'm afraid, apart from the present, I know little of your past or achievements, Mizukage-sama." Placing his arms on the desk, too, so his body was mimicing the Mizukage's, he finished his sentence. "What would cause you to believe I think you're an idiot, Mizukage-sama? I'm intrigued..." His copper skin brushed gently against Arashii's pale skin, the colours simply not matching. "Ball's in your court now." Isamu thought to himself, returning Arashii's smirk. |

| For a man who could keep himself so composed, Arashii was surprised with the amount of blatant mistakes his guest was making, this time it was to do with his words and actions. The man responded to Arashii swiftly but how he did it was concerning, but not for Arashii. The Mizukage had concern for the man, if he continued to follow this trail, he would soon be put through the floorboards until he hit the ground floor. Arashii didn’t like to play games at times of importance and he suspected somebody trying to make an impression that their village should be affiliated with Kirigakure wouldn’t do so either. “How much do I know about you?” the man repeated Arashii’s question as he brought his hand up to his chin, scratching it as if to think back on past memories but doing so in a disrespectful manor, he was mocking the Mizukage. Arashii’s eyes sharpened as he started to because uneasy about how Isamu was acting in the Mizukage’s presence. Isamu would then to proceed to do one of the stupidest things in Arashii’s presence. This was to suck up to him. His words would come across kind but it wasn’t difficult to detect a bit of attitude in his speech this time, perhaps sarcasm. "I know you are the Mizukage of Kirigakure no Sato and you are doing an excellent job of it. I'm afraid, apart from the present, I know little of your past or achievements, Mizukage-sama." following up this stupidity, the Sunagakure Jounin would cross his arms and mimic Arashii, returning a cocky smile to the young Kage. "What would cause you to believe I think you're an idiot, Mizukage-sama? I'm intrigued..." Once again, that attitude; Arashii hated it. How dare he try to toy with Arashii, this time there was no dancing around matter.
“I don’t know how it is in Sunagakure, but here in Kirigakure you remove your arms from my desk, it’s considered disrespectful. So is hitting on a taken lady, in fact; it’s the type of thing that will get you killed.” Arashii’s tone was serious and sharp. He once again left no time for his guest to reply as the Mizukage would continue. “For a messenger boy, your delivering the wrong message. Coming and acting like you are in my office.” Arashii leaned forward slightly as he continued once more. “I was not speaking about my efforts as Mizukage, I’m talking about the fact that I have slaughtered dozens of shinobi from your village; for disrespecting me and my village. You come here and want to talk about an alliance but act the same way.” Arashii said, he tone getting fiercer. “You can tell your Kazekage, that if he wishes to talk about an alliance. He can come see me himself, and not send one of his petty disrespectful minions who are too distracted chasing tail then to actually do his job correctly.” Arashii finalized his words, prepared for any word or action the man would return to Arashii. The Mizukage’s words were cruel and insulting, but Isamu should be thankful Arashii hadn’t already acted; if it wasn’t for the Chuunin Examinations just around the corner, Isamu wouldn’t be breathing the precious oxygen he is right now if he had talked to Arashii the way he had, and that was a garuntee. |

| The tension in the room could be cut with a knife. It was weird, but Isamu was enjoying the atmosphere. He liked to get out of Sunagakure. Not that he disliked his village, no. Not at all. He loved it, more than anything he had ever loved, except maybe... He didn't let the thought enter his head, but his ears pricked instinctively as Arashii took in breath, to reply to Isamu. “I don’t know how it is in Sunagakure, but here in Kirigakure you remove your arms from my desk, it’s considered disrespectful. So is hitting on a taken lady, in fact; it’s the type of thing that will get you killed.” Arashii spoke in a sharp and serious tone, he was almost barking at Isamu. Formal, but feral. The sentence that Arashii delivered truly was a blow to Isamu. He had insulted both things that currently had hold of Isamu's heart: Sunagakure no Sato and Ahora. When he mentioned Sunagakure, especially in such a derogatory form, Isamu's anger rose. He had to restrain himself from clenching his fist. Sometimes, trying not to give away his emotions was so hard and he just wished he could wear his heart on his sleeve, like he had seen other shinobi do. Not that it had got them anyway, but six feet under the ground. When he mentioned the fact Ahora was taken, presumable by himself, Arashii had one-upped Isamu. Normally, he would've disliked that. Not hated it, like most proud pigs, but he wouldn't've liked it. All that did, knowing Ahora was taken, was make his heart wrench in a knot, as if the blood in his cardica muscle was exploding around his body. The anger that Arashii could have Ahora, but he couldn't, killed him inside, but still, there was nothing he could do. He wanted to kill Arashii, but he had to control himself. “For a messenger boy, your delivering the wrong message. Coming and acting like you are in my office.” Arashii continued, not giving Isamu time to respond, even if he had wanted to, which he didn't. Isamu didn't exactly like the term 'messenger boy', but again, he ignored the taunt. "I suppose it's my fault I let things get this far. Overall, the success of the mission, is paramount."
“I was not speaking about my efforts as Mizukage, I’m talking about the fact that I have slaughtered dozens of shinobi from your village; for disrespecting me and my village. You come here and want to talk about an alliance but act the same way.” Arashii spoke again, his voice getting fiercer, revurberating around the room and echoing off of the walls. "This guy's so far up his own arse, it's unreal. If I wasn't on a mission here..." Isamu dreaded to continue his thought, so threw his mind off in a completely different direction for a second, before returning to listen to Arashii's "speech". “You can tell your Kazekage, that if he wishes to talk about an alliance. He can come see me himself, and not send one of his petty disrespectful minions who are too distracted chasing tail then to actually do his job correctly.” Again, Arashii insulted Isamu and he had to take it, like a little child. Sometimes, he wished it wasn't in his militant background to be so respectful, but he simply couldn't help it. He had been as rebellious as possible on this mission outing and thoroughly enjoyed himself, teasing one of the strongest men on the planet. It was interesting, but now it was time to calm down and complete the mission. He didn't much like the fact that Howl-sama was referred to as 'your' Kazekage rather than 'the' Kazekage. He did so much more for the shinobi world in general than just Sunagakure no Sato. He wanted to inform Arashii of that fact, but he didn't bother. There was no point. The man seemed to be rapped up in his own rage. It was pathetic to look at and gave Isamu new found reason to wrap up his emotions. Doing just that, Isamu prepared himself for his exit.
Pushing back the chair, placing his hands on the bottom of the wooden bar and using it to propel himself over the back of the chair with a graceful yet tame backflip, landing lightly on his feet with a mute thud. He then proceeded to push the chair under the Mizukage's desk, where it came from originally. Looking directly into Arashii's eyes, Isamu spoke. "I shall inform the Kazekage that you wish to confer with him in person. Goodbye." Making sure not to thank Arashii for his hospitality, Isamu walked across the office and pulled open the door, without a look behind him, he closed the door on Arashii. Supressing a deep sigh, Isamu performed the handseals for Shunshin, and used it to get to the ground floor. Walking quickly yet quietly, he returned to the main office and pang of pain rushing through him as he walked past Ahora's door, which she had pointed out to him earlier. He wondered if it even was her office. She could've easily lied to him, for Arashii's sake. He didn't know how loyal to her she was, so it was a risk. Isamu decided he didn't want to take anymore just yet, so he went outside and back into the rain. However, he did decide he would like the opportunity open for him to spend just a day or two more in Kirigakure no Sato, so he made his way up to the Messenger Bird Tower and hired one. Writing a letter to the Kazekage explaining to him in brief the meeting between himself and Arashii and explaining he would be home in a few days, Isamu sent the bird flying into the sky and watched it disappear behind the clouds... Now, it was time to have some fun.
