Ryoushi Stands 5'8" tall with gold colored eyes and long dark hair. He has a toned muscular build with a small frame. His torso is covered in scars from his long hours training and his face rarely shows any emotion. There is a tattoo on the back of his neck of three lines that curl up on themselves representing the wind. His skin is surprisingly pale considering the amount of time he spends in the sun.

Ryoushi wears lose white clothing with a black edging rather then the usual ninja garb. Under his clothing his arms and legs are taped up to reduce movement when striking with his fists or feet. His torso is also taped tightly with white gauze to hide the scars on his chest and shows the toned muscles of his abdomen. His clothing consists of an open shirt and loose pants. Rather then the traditional ninja sandals Ryoushi prefers to wear black leather boots for added protection against projectiles to his feet. He also wears two swords tied to a black belt on his left hip as well as a pouch of smaller ranged weapons tied on the same belt on his back.

Personality:
Ryoushi almost never shows emotions. Although he does have them he prefers to keep them hidden from the world and only showing them to his closest friends. He loves to read and listen to music and hates what he thinks of as weakness. Weakness to Ryoushi is anybody who does not strive to make themselves stronger and those that do not hold to their convictions. Rather then give up on people he sees as weak however, Ryoushi will try to motivate them to become stronger.

Ryoushi believes that loyalty is more important then anything else, loyalty to your team first and to your village second. He will never leave a team member behind and always follows orders. Ryoushi is not like other members of his clan that will sometimes have a crazed blood lust and instead prefers to take direct offensive measures only as a last resort, preferring to use poisons or indirect attacks first.

Description: A jutsu that is similar to the manner shinobi walk on water and trees, but far more dramatic in the manner it functions. The user will gather a large quantity of chakra beneath their foot as they raise it. Upon gathering sufficient energy, the user will stomp downward, compressing the air that they've gather until, like a spring, it explodes, flinging the ninja forward. This is useful for charging the enemy, quickly crossing the battlefield, and dodging attacks however the user can not change direction until they come in contact with another surface, leaving them open to counter attack.

Description: A basic wind technique that it utilized with a weapon, typically a blade. The user will apply their chakra to weapon, surrounding with a layer of their chakra. They will then begin to "Sharpen" the chakra, utilizing their wind affinity to create a tearing effect with whatever contacts the chakra. This will improve the cutting ability of the weapon, making attacks more deadly. When used in comination with the basic level of their Kekkei Genkai this jutsu is even more effective.

Description: This technique is similar to Kazeken in the manner it used, the Shinobi transferring their chakra into a weapon. In this case the user will, rather then improving power, will increase the speed of thrown projectiles. When thrown, the transferred chakra will release it itself from the end of the weapon in the form of a gale, boosting the speed of the weapon's flight. This makes it harder for enemies to react to the weapon, and is useful for hitting quick targets.When used in combination with the Advanced level of their Kekkei Genkai this jutsu makes thrown weapons much harder to dodge or block.

Description: This jutsu alters the wind currents around any weapon that holds an edge. By doing this the weapon used by the clan member moves through the air more easily allowing the user to expend less energy to swing the weapon and still have it move faster then normal, thus making it harder to dodge or block. This will not work on thown weapons and requires 1 D rank chankra every 2 posts to maintain in addition to the first D rank chakra to start the manipulation. This jutsu does not use hand seals. Instead the user will direct their chakra out to effect the air currents and requires the user have good control over their nature manipulation. (Constant effect until it is shut off by halting the flow of chakra to the weapon.)

Instead the user will direct their chakra out to effect the air currents and requires the user have good control over their nature manipulation.

Background Information

History:
Birth Arc:
Ryoushi was born to the Hanshou clan's poorest family. He never knew his mother as she died in child birth. Growing up the only thing he had to do was train for the ninja academy and read. Because of this he developed a great love for books and a deep hatred for those talented people that don't have to work for anything. When he was old enough to join the ninja academy his father told Ryoushi that his mother had a vision for his future, that she wanted him to be a good person and a great ninja. Knowing that this was his mothers wish for him Ryoushi enrolled in the ninja academy with the goal of becoming strong enough to protect those he cared about and defend his village from attackers.

Academy Arch:
In the ninja academy Ryoushi studied hard and practiced every night at home. He read books on human anatomy and chemistry. He developed a habit of trying to create new poisons with plants and chemicals that should work and more then a few times ended up in the hospital after a new poison attempt of his blew up in his face. He trained hard with wooded swords and other weapons, finding that he was able to use them more effectively then his own fists. He found genjutsu impossible.

Graduation Day
On the day Ryoushi graduated from the ninja academy he was happier then he had ever been in his life. When he got home his father was waiting for him in the kitchen of their small home. On the table there was a black box with gold trim on the table and two swords on top of the box. When Ryoushi opened the box he found the white clothing he wears now. His father explained to him that he had saved up money every year Ryoushi was in the academy in order to buy the swords and that the clothing had once belonged to Ryoushi's uncle on his mothers side. Ryoushi swore to his father on that day to wear the clothing and weapons proudly and never disappoint his father. He also made an oath to himself to be the best ninja he could, never give up and protect the lives of those he cared about no matter the cost.

Role-Play Sample:

Ryoushi sat on his bed under the small window in his room. In his left hand he held a book of advanced chemistry and in his right was the pen he used whenever he studied. On his bed was a notebook with notes of chemical combination and elemental structures. The sound of a birds chirp drifted in through open window and Ryoushi closed his book. Ryoushi took a deep breath and let the fresh air smell fill his nostrils. It was such a beautiful day that it was a shame to waist it inside studying so he got up, grabbed his shirt and headed outside.

As Ryoushi stepped across the threshold of his small house he pulled the shirt on but left it unbuttoned to let the breeze cool his body. After another deep breath of fresh air Ryoushi decided to go into town to get his swords sharpened. After a quick trip back inside to grab the blades his father had given him Ryoushi was off towards the downtown area.

It took him only a few moments to find the weapons shop in town. He had been their so many times he didn't even need to think about where he was going and walked with muscle memory. Inside the weapons shop was dark and drab. Weapons of all sorts hung on the walls and the only lights inside came from the fire of the forge in the back and what little light drifted in through the small windows along the front of the store. Ryoushi walked up to the counter and rung the bell and in only about a minute the shop owner came to the front desk.

"Good afternoon Ryoushi, what can I do for you?" said the weapons master with a smile on his face.

Ryoushi smiled and held up his swords. "I need you to sharpen these and rub them down with oil again."

The weapons master laughed as he took the blades from Ryoushi and set them down on a stand behind him.

"You know Ryoushi, you take better care of your weapons then any genin I have seen in a long time. You could probably do this yourself."{/i] The weapon master said as he turned to face Ryoushi again.

"Your probably right, but I prefer to know they are in good hands. Those swords are very important to me and I don't like to treat them myself unless I am out on a mission or something."

The weapons master looked down at Ryoushi with eyes that showed both understanding and skepticism. He was probably right that Ryoushi could care for his own weapons but wouldn't turn down a paying customer.

[i]"Well I do have some other customers ahead of you so it will take a few hours for me to get these done." said the weapons master as he wrote out a receipt for Ryoushi and handed it to him.

"I think I can keep myself busy until then." Ryoushi took the receipt and paid half the bill in advance as was the norm and walked out of the shop and back into the bright sun and fresh air.

• If you do not have an image for the swords, then please remove the green part and give a better description of what they look like. How long is the blade? What color is the handle? Is their a little trinket hanging off it? Things like that.

• What's the color of the smoke and how much distance does it cover? 5 posts is a little long, too; I'd cut it down to 3 or 4.

• Just to make this clear; the symptoms kick in after 5 posts from when the bomb is thrown? Also, if it lasts for 10 posts, I believe that's a little too high for a C-ranked bomb and should probably be cut down.

I am sorry about those mistakes and for what I am about to say. Would you please remove this character application. When I made it I was not really thinking about it and would like to completely revamp the character. I was struck by a muse when I saw a picture online and now I have a much better character in mind that I think should get approved along with a clan. Again I am sorry about the trouble.
