Whiskey Business.

Starring
Nakamura, Arashii
Kouzetsu, Saigo

Night began to be an outlet for Arashii, its ominous and silent features allowing the Mizukage to handle his private matters with maximum discretion. Privacy was not a luxury the Mizukage often received, having consistent meetings, appointments and errands to run throughout the days, he started to believe he was losing a grip on his personal goals. However with a little more spare time on his hands recently, Arashii was managing to get back on track. The sole survivor of the Nakamura clan usually had a better grasp on his time management but had recently let it slip due to distractions such as the Chuunin Examinations. Tonight however, would be one of the first steps he would have to take to get his plans flowing a lot more consistently.

His floorboards refused to creak as Arashii practically slid across the flooring of his mansion, appearing like he was barely walking it all; though he indeed was. Ino followed him, her steps being a lot easier to hear than Arashii’s as her tongue flopped out of her mouth following her master down the hall, though when Arashii took a sudden right; Ino would continue to venture to the end of the hall into the kitchen, going to have a hydrating drink of fresh water from her doggy bowl. Arashii was doing something somewhat similar, the room he turned into was his houses personal bar that he maintained himself. The walls could barely be seen as they were covered by various liquor cabinets. Arashii walked up and around the bar, moving to his prized liquor cabinet which was host to some of his finest liquors. Popping open the wooden framed glass doors of the cabinet, Arashii reached up to the third shelf from the top, grasping the large bottles of one of his finest whiskies. He had only ever had two glasses of this particular whiskey which were both for rather special occasions, but he felt a little spontaneous tonight when it came to his choice of alcoholic beverage.

Shutting the cupboard, gently Arashii shifted directions now facing his bar table as he placed the bottle down on it for a moment, reaching above him to the shelves above, he removed two short yet wide glasses and brought him down onto the bar table beside the bottle, proceeding to reach down to his freezer, opening it up and getting a scoop, digging it into the ice compartment of his freezing unit grabbing only a dozen pieces of small ice cubes he poured them equally into the glasses, meaning each of them had three cubes. He skilfully then grasped the cups between the fingers on his right hand and grabbed the whiskey bottle in his right as he moved back from the bars bench he saw Ino’s head poking around the corner of the rooms entrance which didn’t have a door and was just a large arch, she was waiting for her master before moving back to the main lounge. Arashii was delighted at the companionship she showed towards him and smiled reluctantly just before he spoke to his furry friend. “Good girl, Ino, Go on.” he said as he got closer to near, usually he would bend down and stroke her beautiful coating as a sign of affection but his hands were full and the canine was smart enough to realize this as she took the lead back to the lounge, almost prancing with each step forward Arashii almost chuckled as he surveyed his pooch from the rear, watching her bottom and tail sway from side to side gracefully, she acted like a real princess.

Jumping up onto the couch and awaiting for Arashii who shortly followed, he sighed in relief as he sat back down, embracing the pillows behind him as he leaned the whole way back before shooting back forward to place the glasses and bottle on his marble coffee table. The fire stirred in its controlled fireplace as Arashii opened his bottle of whiskey as he poured generous portions of the liquor into each of the glasses, before placing the bottle back onto the table before him. He was yet to bring the cup to his lips or to even pick it up the glass since he was waiting on company, a Jounin of his village by the name of Kouzetsu, Saigo, a mere two years older than the Mizukage; his ability with a blade was remarkable, though the Mizukage didn’t consider him to be quite be at his level of Kenjutsu mastery yet, but he was certainly an exceptional swordsmen. Saigo was worthy to be dubbed one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist if Arashii hadn’t disbanded them. But this got the Mizukage thinking; he did still have the weapons of the other six locked away in one of his weaponry arsenals just up stairs. The Mizukage’s train of thought was short lived however as he was disturbed by a thud on the door. Surely this was Saigo knocking. Arashii waited for the Kirigakure Jounin to let himself in as the Mizukage finally reach forward picking up one of the two whiskey’s resting it in his lap until he was accompanied by his comrade.

The weather had taken a turn for the worst, the skys dead emptyness made ever more obvious by the star light. Now gone, their light eclipsed from sight by thick smog slowly passing over the village hidden in the Mist. Saigo sighed, his attention remained toward the heavens. Dissapointed with the impending bad weather, not that it bothered him too much, he just hadn't brought a coat. His attention shifted as his line of sight slowly drifted to the side, the door hadn't moved or been opened. Saigo's eye brow began to twitch, he'd never been a patient person and these situations only put him in a bad mood. He waited for a moment longer before assuming the Mizukage expected him to just waltz his way into the hall. Unfortunately this was the only option now that the rain had started to come down, the sound echoing of the roof tops all around. Placing his left hand softly on the door handle he paused for a moment to consider his reason for being summond. It had almost been a year since he'd spoken to the Mizukage. They always had very little reason for associating with eachother. Of course, Saigo never really liked to associate with anyone.

Although he did have a massive amount of respect for his kage, even if he didn't always agree with his decisions, Saigo was loyal. He shook the thoughts from his mind and he did so the rain flew from his wet hair. Once he'd stopped a few seconds passed and it became spikey once again, looking at his reflection in the pane of glass fitted in the door he cracked a cheeky smile and winked at himself. Now composed Saigo swung the door open, not aggressively but forceful none the less. The door hit the inside wall and made a loud thudding sound that echo'd through the close quarter rooms of the palace entry.
" ..woops, guess I don't know my own strength. " Saigo said under his breath. His eye's opened wide as he admired his surroundings. His Mizukage didn't do to bad for himself, that much was clear by the high standard of his decor. The building was quite impressive although it wasn't the reason Saigo was here, the Mizukage Arashii was not in view. Saigo didn't know the exact layout of the palce, the thought did cross his mind to just wonder around but he didn't know what he might find.

Clearing his throat he announced his arrival. " Honneeyyy! I'mm hoooommmmmeeeeee. " Saigo knew how to let people know he'd arrived, hopefully the Mizukage wouldn't take his smug sense of humor the wrong way. He awaited some type of response from his host to-be. As he did so he began to make his way into the depths of the Mizukages palace.

(OOC: Adam I've been really busy dude. I'll keep posting, hopefully I'll have the time to make them much bigger.)

The sudden knock was quickly followed by a loud thud. Arashii wasn’t sure whether it was the fierce wind from outside or Saigo forcing the door open. The sudden thud of the large door hitting the wall next to it startled Ino, which frustrated Arashii quite a bit since the canine was nearing sleep. A few shuffles were heard at the front door as it closed, no clear footsteps could be heard so Arashii took it upon himself that his guest was lacking direction, though it surely couldn’t have been difficult to walk down the hall way and find the Mizukage. Arashii’s footsteps were silent as he was were socks on his floorboards, as he approached the arch of the lounge to peer around the hallway, before he could do so a voice was heard at the end of the hall. It was clearly Saigo who said “Honey, I’m home.” in a joking manner. The Mizukage wasn’t somebody who lacked humour, he was only young after all but he didn’t really appreciate the rudeness and it was usually something he would scold somebody for. This time was surprisingly different, he didn’t even feel the urge to, so fair the only thing he was actually annoyed with what the startling of Ino.

The Mizukage peered around the corner moments around, He was able to see Saigo in full but the Jounin would only be able to see the left arm, half the body and the face of the Mizukage who was still shielded by the wall as if he has something to hide. “Yes, Saigo. Welcome.” he said in a loud enough voice for his comrade to hear him, even though he would have seen him from the mild distance down the hall. “This way my friend.” Arashii said as he moved back into the lounge, disappearing from Saigo’s line of sight as he suspected the Jounin to follow his offer and join him in the lounge. Of course the Saigo did this as he appeared to take what Arashii could only assume to be a casual stroll down the hall way. This was fair, since although the point of this meeting had important values it was a casual one, it had been a while since the two had actually spoken and Saigo wasn’t somebody who constantly caught the Mizukage’s attention; until recently.

Arashii fell back onto the couch next to Ino before Saigo could reach the room. Drink still in hand as he looked into the blazing fire before him. Eventually being joined by his associate Arashii spoke once more. “Please, sit. The whiskey on the table is for you.” Arashii said as he finally took a sip of the whiskey, it was absolutely perfect; extremely smooth since it was blended with the ice that was only just starting to melt a little bit, creating a perfect watery whiskey blend that sat well with Arashii. The couch was practically a semicircular large comfortable piece that almost hugged the marble coffee table around it. Arashii sat in the centre which was facing the fireplace directly with Ino on his right, though she remained close. The Mizukage was directing Saigo to his left, sitting rather close but far enough away so they had their own personal space, he was directing to the spot just before the couch curved into “Arashii’s section”. The Mizukage waited patiently for his guest to take a seat, enjoy his whiskey and spur a conversation since Arashii assumed Saigo was wondering why he was asked to come to the Mizukage’s private residence during the night being offered a fancy whiskey instead of the generic day where a shinobi would have a scheduled meeting in the Mizukage Fortresses office.

PostSubject: Re: Whiskey Business. [P] Whiskey Business. [P] EmptySun 16 Jan 2011, 9:05 pm

Moments passed since the rude Jounins outburst, he'd taken four, maybe five steps forward before he heard a tapping sound. Saigo came to a stand-still and squinted, the expression on his face was pensive. It was quickly smoothed out by the sight of a tall male, appearing from around a corner wall. The lighting was to dim to pick out specific facial details but it was obvious to Saigo who it could be. After all, whose palace was he in. For some reason the figure moved no further, the position of his arm suggested he was welcoming Saigo though. “Yes, Saigo. Welcome.” he said in a loud enough voice for his comrade to hear him, Saigo smirked, his Mizukage looked comfertable. Saigo was almost jealous he didn't have such lush accomidation. Shaking the remaining rain off his outer clothing Saigo proceeded to walk towards Arashii. "This way my friend.” Arashii said as he moved back into the lounge, disappearing from Saigo’s line of sight for a few seconds as Saigo continued to follow him.

Saigo didn't feel the need to rush, he'd completed his tasks for the day and this meeting was the only thing left. Plus the Mizukage was one of the few people Saigo had time for and didn't mind where or when. Although on this particular occasion he didn't have the faintist idea why he'd been summond at this time of night. It was very warm and Arashii knew how to make someone feel welcome to his home. Stepping into the Arashiis lounge Saigo was even more impressed, he really did feel under paid but found the idea of him owning his own palace quite funny. 'Saigos Shag Pad' had a nice ring to it but this wasn't the time for day dreaming. “Please, sit. The whiskey on the table is for you.” Arashii said as he finally took a sip of the whiskey. Saigo shook his head as if to disturb the images of his future home from his mind. Then looked directly at Arashii and nodded, his eye's slightly shifted to the Mizukages companion. Saigo smirked before turning back to Arashii. " Cute fur ball, does he know any tricks? " asked Saigo as he took the glass of whiskey in hand and moved toward the extremely hot fire.

Now standing where he wanted Saigo raised the glass to his lips but before drinking took a deep breath. Inhailing the strong aroma of Whiskey, it filled his head with pure liquid pleasure. It had been some time since he'd come across such expensive whiskey and he planned on making the most of it. Tipping it slowly against his slightly open lips he filtured the ice, keeping it in the glass. It quickly ran down this throat, warming his body as it did so. Taking the almost empty glass away from his mouth he let out a short breath of satisfaction and turned to directly face the Mizukage. "Exceptional, you certainly have good taste. I must admit, this place has improved since the last time i saw you Arashii. Bravo." Saigo congratulated the Mizukage and he really did mean it, normaly Saigo wouldn't dream of saying something so humble. Arashii had achieved many great feats and his battles were legendary, Saigo admired this.

Placing the empty glass down on the table Saigo took a seat, in the general area the Mizukages body language had suggested. Coughing in preparation to speak, Saigo unzipped his Jounin jacket and got comfertable. The Mizukages facial expression suggested he was awaiting a response from Saigo. A response Saigo was now ready to give. " I was suprised when I got your letter, it's been a while since you've specificly asked for me to come here and not the fortress. " Saigo stated as his eye brow raised in suspicion followed by a cheeky smile. " Don't get me wrong, I'm very greatful but I can't help but wonder, there must be a reason other than showing off your palace and fine whiskey? " Saigo questioned, curiously looking at Arashii, trying to read his body language as he asked.

PostSubject: Re: Whiskey Business. [P] Whiskey Business. [P] EmptyMon 17 Jan 2011, 10:31 am

As his guest approached the Lounge approached the land, he hadn’t sat down just yet which left Arashii to remain silent for the moment; instead Saigo turned his attention to Saigo and called her a fur ball, which Arashii took as a term of endearment. Saigo asked if he knew any tricks, though he was sure this was a little bit of fun just to recognize the canine’s companion, Arashii still picked up the Jounin’s mistake of Ino’s gender so felt obligated to response as his hand circulated round and round which gently stirred the whiskey he replied to Saigo’s question. “Well Ino is actually a girl, and she is a bit too much of a princess to do tricks, at least she thinks so.” Arashii joked as he brought his spar hand to her back once more giving it a firm yet affectionate stroke as he brought his hand back to his lap. “She is very well trained though.” he said as Saigo picked up his glass and moved to the fireplace. Arashii watched him consume most of the liquor before complementing Arashii on his taste and continuing to commend the Mizukage on the improvement of his residence. Arashii smiled humbly with a light chuckle following which was shortly interrupted by the whiskey glass that he had brought to his lips once more, sipping another small portion of the drink before lowering it again he once again responded, as he did so Saigo had moved towards the couch in mid-sentence, now sitting where Arashii had previously directed placing his empty glass back on the coffee table. “Yes, I do find my various liquors quite enticing and as for the residence I guess you can thank the recent increase of Kirigakure’s economy, although my ‘palace’ is more than luxurious over the last year I’ve been able to get many people off the streets into decent houses and managed to upgrade the quality of almost every home in Kirigakure.” he boasted a little, he suspected Saigo would have noticed all the quality improvements throughout the village. Even the Chaos Area was rebuilt due to the massive increase Kirigakure had undergone in the last year or so under Arashii’s reign. The credit didn’t just go to him though, since taking charge in Kirigakure many of the shinobi of the land had stepped up, became more ruthless yet at the same time loyal; to ensure the village improved, and that it did.

Saigo began to speak about being surprised he was invited to meet with Arashii, especially at he’s private residence. Although Saigo seemed suspicious he had a smile on his face, as he locked eyes with Arashii who also had a devious expression taint his face. He stated that he appreciated the invitation, but through experience he didn’t think the Mizukage would invite somebody to his house like this without a particular reason in mind. It was true, Arashii had a reason; but that wasn’t the entire point of Saigo’s visit. Arashii chuckled once more, dropping his eyes from Saigo’s down to his glass. “But you said yourself, the whiskey is exceptional.” as he refilled the Jounin glass and proceeded to top his own off before placing the whiskey bottle back down on the bench, it’s volume decreased even more than before as Arashii brought the now full glass back to his mouth, taking a larger sip than the two previous ones he had taken before. He hadn’t answered the Jounin’s question directly yet, he wished had left it at that for the time been, wondering what Saigo would have to say and how he would react to the Mizukage’s shockingly relaxed attitude.

“Yes, I do find my various liquors quite enticing and as for the residence I guess you can thank the recent increase of Kirigakure’s economy, although my ‘palace’ is more than luxurious over the last year I’ve been able to get many people off the streets into decent houses and managed to upgrade the quality of almost every home in Kirigakure.” As Arashii explained Saigo thought about all the recent developments that had occured. Then he remembered, he'd left his muffins unwrapped. This would have a serious impact on him if he got home and indeed had only stale muffins, it would not only be emotional but soul destroying aswel. Especially if he had to travel out in the harsh weather conditions to find a 24hour mart that sold muffins. His facial expression screwed up in deep thought as he pondered how to remedy such a situation. The heat from the fire warmed the right side of his body, so much that it brought Saigo's attention back to his current conversation. " Yes my Mizukage, the improvements around the village are also very impressive. We are becoming strong again, strong enough to repay those would have wronged us in the past." Saigo's sharp teeth appeared as he smiled with an evil glee awaiting a response from the Mizukage.

The Mizukage didn't react, his expression carried a devious taint to it but he'd had it for sometime now. Saigo wasn't sure what Arashii had in store for him, perhaps a mission?, a new squad? or an assassination?...Saigo hoped it was an assassination. He so loved to slice the head off..well just about anyone.

“But you said yourself, the whiskey is exceptional.” Arashii said as he refilled the Jounins glass and proceeded to top his own off before placing the whiskey bottle back down on the bench. Saigo was thankful for the refill, his mouth watered at the thought of a few more glasses. " I normally don't drink on a school night. I'll make an acception this time. " Saigo said in jest, attempting some light humour. Arashii seemed to be completely at ease already, Saigo could only assume his Mizukage had full trust in him. Although the whole situation seemed strange, Saigo had been summoned late at night but now he's arrived the Mizukage seemed completely relaxed. It could only mean that the punch line was yet to be announced and Arashii was just biding his time. Which, Saigo had no intention of complaining about, after all, the whiskey was rather good.

Knocking the glass back once more, Saigo placed it back down on the table and looked Arashii directly in the eyes. Tention built between the two, it was a perfect moment for a subtle drum roll. As Saigo cracked a cocky smirk, Arashii's expression hadn't changed just yet. The pause seemed like an eternity before Saigo sighed and said..."I'm sorry but, do you have any muffins?".

Saigo seemed to think he was quite the clown, and usually such an attitude would be a troublesome one to have when in Arashii’s presence, but still for some reason the Mizukage seemed at peace with his Jounin comrade. It surprised Arashii himself that he had no dispute towards Saigo’s behaviour. Once the Jounin’s last crack the room seemed to become silent as he knocked back another glass of whiskey. ‘He’s finished two already, at this rate he’ll consume my whole liquor cabinet’ Arashii thought to himself as his mouth engulfed the top of his own glass as the entire shot of liquid poured down his throat, mimicking Saigo’s action the Mizukage too placed his glass on the table, leaning back into his sofa he sighed comfortably. He’s eyes blinked slowly as he relaxed almost falling into a half conscious state of mind as he slowly dropped his neck back until it reached the couches cushion behind him, his neck was sore and it hurt a little bit when he moved it back, but it was a good kind of hurt, as if somebody was massaging knotted muscles from his shoulders or not. For a moment, it was almost like he had forgotten he had company when it was suddenly interrupted by a question, an extremely unsuspecting one at that. Saigo’s voice disrupted the Mizukage little relaxation period, or at least the silent part of it; but for some reason Arashii was still leaning back, by this time his eyes had come to a close, he made a short and quiet recognizable murmur that could be best described as “Hmmm?” once the question was asked and that question was, whether the Mizukage had any muffins.

Muffins?

The question enough should have been enough to get Arashii’s eyes to flick open, sit up and yell “MUFFINS?! WHAT THE FUCK, YOU WANT MUFFINS?! WOULD YOU LIKE COOKIES AND MILK WITH THAT?!” of course, Arashii wasn’t actually made but the question had taken him back though he remained relaxed and eyes closed, he was so confused by the question. Considering his eyes were closed he wasn’t sure if there was a sarcastic gesture or facial expression with this question. The Mizukage began to overthink the question in his mind before speaking, his vocal tone was relaxed but happy. “Muffins? It’s almost midnight, even if I did have muffins they would surely lacking the brilliant freshness for my standards. I buy my breads and cakes from one of Kirigakure’s finest bakery every morning, there’s no muffin like a fresh muffin.” Arashii smiled genuinely, his conversation had dived to talk about muffins, how amusing.

Arashii’s eyes opened gently as he leaned forward and grabbed the bottle of whiskey that was almost only half full now, firmly ensuring it was in his grip before lifting it back to the empty glasses, refilling them for the third time. “Cheers.” Arashii said as he gestured his glass towards Saigo who had picked his own up by now. Arashii stood once he touch a generous sip of his whiskey once more, he stretched briefly with the sound effects and all, though his hands remained down as he did so, he moved his neck from side to side as it cracked twice for both left and right, which meant there was a total of four cracks all up, he was growing tired but it didn’t bother him, a few more drinks should do the trick, but he was a patient man when it came to his liquor. “If it’s a food fix you need, then I’m sure I can whip something up to your liking, anything particular you wish to eat and when I say eat, I don’t mean snack on something like a muffin.” Arashii chuckled as he said so, moving around the right side of the couch, the opposite way from Saigo he brushed up against the couch, close to Ino; but by now she had nodded off and was practically doing the best a dog could to do ‘starfish’ across the couch, she may have thought she was a little princess but she slept like a slob. Arashii was now almost at the arch of his lounge as stepped off the lounges carpet and onto the hallways floorboards, it was now that he would journey down to the kitchen, assuming Saigo was following.

Saigo thought to himself for a moment before responding to Arashii's question. Maybe it was time he just asked the Mizukage what this was all about. Something didn't add up, the situation was all to calm. Of course, Saigo knew his jokes weren't helping the situation either but it was just him being friendly. Usually Saigo didn't like socializing with people for no reason, it wasn't his scene. The Mizukage was a different story, apart of Saigo was just curious but atleast if he was socializing, it was with someone worth his time.

Being extremely comfertable on the Mizukages flash furnature, Saigo experienced major difficulty attempting to stand up. Making an effort he did though, standing up he felt the slight after effect of whiskey. It tingled for a moment, Saigo loved his drink but in his current situation he didn't want to over do it. He yawned and stretched his arms out while doing so, his eye's shifted towards Arashii. Saigo smiled cheerfully, his sharp teeth on show once again. They looked sharper than they were, atleast compared to other people who lived in Kirigakure. " I want some dog meat!? " Saigo asked in jest, licking his lips and as his shadow cast over Ino. On this occasion Saigo was joking, although in order to survive he had eaten dog before. To chewwy for his liking, plus it was a nightmare to clean his teeth. Saigo coughed and turned to Arashii once more. " I wouldn't mind some Hu Yu Gai Po, if you know how to cook it? " Looking directly at Arashii after asking, Saigo smirked playfully. It was his clans specialty, although because of it's fantastic taste it had spread far and wide. He was testing the Mizukage's knowledge in the kitchen, not that Saigo was a good cook, infact, quite the opposite.

While Saigo waited for a response from Arashii he couldn't help but enjoy his surroundings, the sound of the rain on the roof made the warm lounge so appealing. Something he could really get used to. Maybe after he'd became legendary throughout the Shinobi world it could become a reality, that our take out a massive loan. Saigo realized his thoughts had run wild and he brought himself back to reality. Arashii was still waiting for Saigo to move and being as Saigo had taken his time already, he decided to make an extra effort. Clapping his hands together he performed some quick hand seals and suddenly vanished. This of course was just a trick of the eye, Saigo had infact simply moved forward at an alarmingly fast rate. Now standing on the opposite side of Arashii turned to him, looking just over his shoulder and said " Lead the way Mizukage-sama. "

As Saigo appeared beside the Mizukage and told him to lead the way, he did just that as he was only one mere pace in front of his associate. Reaching the kitchen at the end of the hall, Arashii slid his drink across the long marble top, as it came to a stop where he had planned to stop. His kitchen area was massive, and almost completely white, though shades of grey were splattered from place to place. His dining room could be seen in a separate room, much like the other main rooms of his house, it bared no doors; it was an arch like many of the others on the bottom floor. As Arashii glided around the corner of the central bench he directed Saigo around the other side to one of the seats. “Please sit, I’ll prepare you something to die for.” Arashii said, using suspicious word play. He smirked after he turned, leaving his back to face Saigo as he opened the gigantic refrigerator and pulled out some fresh meat, having the package in hand, he slide back to the main bench, facing Saigo once more who would now be seated across the large grey and white cold top bench. Arashii reached to his left grabbed a chopping board as he removed some pieces of meat from the pack slamming them down onto the board as he moved to the tap beside him. Equipped with sensory technology the tap activated as soon as Arashii’s hands passed under them, releasing a downpour of warm water onto his hands as he gave them a quick scrub, moving his hands from underneath as the tap terminated its functioning, Arashii would proceed to dry them on a clean tea-towel. He had a quick interval to have a sip of his whiskey as he turned back to the bench up against the wall, moving past his large stove top to his knife collection which sat on a case on the way all individual sheathed. Arashii grasped the handle of his large chef’s knife, the stainless titanium knife was ideal for cutting through the slices of meat, though the size Arashii had chosen may have been exaggerated for the job at hand, or was it?

Moving back to the bench across from Saigo, he brought the knife to the meat and began to chop it equally and rapidly, not quite dicing the meat, but instead cutting it into equally proportioned bite sized chunks. As he did this, the conversation had drawn thing; Arashii began considering whether he should tell Saigo why he was here, after all; he did have to know what Saigo thought of what Arashii’s proposal may have been. Although conversing was good, it might have been better to actually show the Jounin, instead of merely telling him, but rushing into ideas wasn’t Arashii’s way of doing business. He could be as direct as anybody, but he didn’t really like jumping straight into business all the time, relaxing was something even Arashii liked to do, he was young after all. But in saying that, what Arashii had planned, it was astonishing that he hadn’t blurted it out yet; he was great at being discrete about his important business that’s for sure. Maybe that was why he had invited Saigo to his residence instead of the office, but in truth, even Arashii didn’t know. Maybe he wanted to get Saigo familiar with the place, because if everything went according to plan than he would be visiting quite frequently in the upcoming weeks, perhaps even longer than that, who knew? Arashii didn’t that’s for sure. As he began thinking about it more and more he felt even more obligated to just tell Saigo, he had already asked and didn’t receive an answer; surely that was frustrating. Arashii stopped cutting the meat for a moment as he chuckled lightly. “So, I suppose you really are wondering why you’re here.” Arashii said. As Saigo began to reply, the Mizukage would show the Jounin, quickly moving his right arm, the sound of the knife’s point scraping against the table top could definitely be heard, Arashii grunted in power as he hurled the knife’s point straight at his comrade, perfectly throwing it straight at in between his eyes, the knife wouldn’t spin in mid-air and at such a close distance, a shinobi that failed to have the quick enough reflexes would surely be receiving a knife to the face, how would Saigo react to the Mizukage’s actions?

As Saigo walked into the giant kitchen of the Mizukage his eyes grew wide, as if something had pulled them open suddenly. It was certainly alot nicer than anything Saigo was used to but something he now aspired to have. "Mizukage, you have a lovely home but don't you ever get bored here? Don't you miss the warm feeling of being covered in the blood of your enemies as you cut them down in battle?" Saigo placed his hands down on the counter side as he awaited a response from the Mizukage. Turning himself around to face Arashii he smoothly hopped up onto one of the Mizukages high rise counter seats, the kind that cost a lot more money than they were worth but looked very nice never the less. To Saigos suprised it was also extremely comfortable. He then nodded to Arashii as if to confirm he was ready to eat or atleast for Arashii to begin cooking.

Arashii then slammed some cooking equippment down beside him, the attention had been taken away from this however by the fact tha Arashii's kitchen had motion sensors. Something Saigo had never seen and only ever heard of through word of mouth. It was very impressive, almsot lazy Saigo thought. Not that he thought Arashii was lazy, just that the whole idea behind not having to turn a tap on. The water came on, it's splashing sound was almost relaxing to Saigo. It reminded him of the ocean, it was something he'd always loved since he was a child. Unfortunately Saigo's childhood memories were interrupted by the fact that Arashii had just unsheathed a rather huge chef's knife. Judging from the size of the knife, Saigo did wonder if Arashii was going to cut up some elephant or perhaps whale? Eitherway, he assumed the Mizukage could cook and knew what he was doing.

So, I suppose you really are wondering why you’re here.” Arashii asked Saigo, to which Saigo began to reply.

" Well, at first I thought it might of been an emergency but as your so relax-..!? " Saigo paused in shear horror as the sound of Arashii's knife could be heard scratching along the kitchen surface. Saigo's eyes still fixed on the Mizukages actions, judging from the arch action as Arashii's arm straightend the knife would surely be pointing towards Saigo. To his suprise the Mizukage released the knife, heading blade first directly towards the young Jounins face. Somewhere just above his nose, possibly between the eyes, he didn't have time to think. Bringing his hand up as quickly as if he was delivering the finishing blow and breaking someone's kneck. Grabbing the chef's knife perfectly by the handle infront of him, the timing was everything. The blade's length being calculated as it flew through the air, stopping not even a cm before it pierced his flesh. Saigo could have stopped it before but he wanted to wait until he was sure of the Mizukage's intention. Such a poor attempt that it could never have been intended as an attack. Saigo snarled, his teeth on display as he did so. Looking Arashii in the eye's, almost glaring, Saigo didn't understand what he'd intended and it was the confusion more than anything that annoid him. Raising his arm, pointing the chef's knife back at Arashii. Saigo began to speak in a calm yet sinister tone.

" Arashii, it isn't very nice to throw sharp objects at your guests. Was it something i said? " As Saigo finished he began to laugh, quite heartfully. It had been awhile since something had 'tickled' him so much. A brief moment passed and Saigo prepared himself again to speak. " Mizukage, are you testing me? " After asking his eye's fixed on the Mizukage awaiting a response. Hopefully this response wouldn't be to 'sharp' an answer.

Ignoring Saigo’s first comment, knowing that Arashii was soon going to answer it with his action soon enough, the situation proceeded to the point of Arashii hurling the knife at Saigo’s face, the Jounin clearly being taken back his movement caused the chair to scrap back against the floor which was enough noise to awaken Ino down in the lounge, who would lazily make her way to the kitchen. Saigo almost showing off, grabbed the large knife confidently, as the point inched from his forehead, which was Arashii’s precise target, Saigo bared his teeth and snarled, though Arashii did not if this was instinctive, or the Jounin attempting to warn Arashii not to proceed, which would be foolish. The aggressive emotional display was short lived still looking Arashii did the face, Saigo’s face lit up with a calmer expression as he pointed the knife at Arashii, the Mizukage folded his arms and smirked arrogantly, the Jounin following this up with another joking remark. Such arrogance in a situation, he was so much like Arashii. Asking if the Mizukage was testing him, the young Kage would not have time to answer that all important question as Ino had made it to the kitchen, distant from the shinobi who remained seated, she arched her back, still yet to even make a peep the canine was observant, seeing the sharp object being pointed at her master, she snarled for a moment, hear teeth much like Saigo’s as she barked loudly in the opponent area, obviously drawing the Jounin attention who would surely turn his attention to the pup, Arashii would take advantage of the distraction, before the Kirigakure Jounin would realize, his Mizukage would be standing on the opponent side to where he was facing which would be his right, as Ino was standing in the arch which was left to Saigo’s position. The Mizukage swinging a swift strong punch at his associate, though he didn’t apply full power to the offensive blow, he did however apply speed, aiming it right for the Jounin right cheek bone which if connected would surely drop the lad from his seat into the hard floors.

The attack was a singular blow, Arashii hadn’t prepared a follow up because he had confidence in his offensive maneuverer, he was quite arrogant in certain situations, but he usually analysed things quite accurately with picking out the best option to go with, even if it was the simplest. Of course, dealing with somebody like Saigo, a cocky and arrogant shinobi liked to play with words, but had the ability to back that smack talk up, wasn’t easy. Even as the Mizukage, he had to play his games, make sure the impressions that Arashii was giving were soaked up, especially since the seriousness of Arashii’s position, he was always put in a position where maturity and responsibility was required. For his age, he was extremely adept and proficient, not just physically but mentally.

As he snapped back to reality, those few split seconds were all it took for Arashii to flick through his mental contemplations as his fist moved through the air nearing Saigo’s whom by now was just turning his attention back to Arashii’s original location which was at his twelve o’clock when Arashii was now at his four o’clock, the spot that one would consider to be the blind spot in Saigo’s current position, although this was a bit of a test like Saigo had assumed, Arashii hadn’t really considered what would happen if his fist connected, surely he couldn’t pass a completely accurate judgement if he managed to land a blow on the Jounin, he should be able to crush him being the Mizukage after all. Although Saigo was no push over, Arashii was supposed to be good at this, and the fact that Saigo questioned Arashii’s lifestyle choices, the Jounin clearly was not aware on how active his Mizukage was, not only still going on vital missions, but training every single night in his private dojo upstairs, he would soon find out though, when Arashii took the lad up there to do some proper training, Arashii would show the Jounin just how overwhelming the Nakamura was.

Saigo smiled at Ino, cheerfully. He didn't mind animals, he actually liked them more to people sometimes. They talked less and were more loyal, nothing more loyal than a man's dog. Saigo almost decided to pet Ino however the sloppy sound of her dribble hitting the hard kitchen floor put him off the idea. Didn't want it on his hands.

Enough of the Mizukage's animal, Saigo turned his attention back to Arashiis original location. Saigos eye's grew big as his facial expression became twisted and confused. The Mizukage, Arashii wasn't in sight. Saigo's head continued to rotate as he scanned whatever was infront of him, his line of sight directly ahead, until...

' SHIT..' was the only word echoing around Saigos head at this moment in time. The Mizukage had slyly moved out of Saigos sight while he was distracted and set up to attack. Unfortunately in this particular situation Saigo had been drinking and therefore was lacking that hunter awareness that he usually had. His shocked, open mouth facial expression was a rare one, one only normally seen when he'd just finished ejaculating. As the Mizukages fist collided with the side of Saigos jaw a slight cracking noise could be heard, echoing around the room. He couldn't believe what Arashii had done, lured him into a false sense of security and safety. Had Saigo been betrayed? he didn't know. All he knew is that he'd be lucky if he could chew after such a blow. An extremely sharp pain braught him back to reality as the shear force of the strike first twisted his head in the opposite direction, followed by his body a second later. Granted, Saigo had been hit harder in the past but the power of the punch was enough to level Saigo. Hitting the Mizukages hard kitchen floor his face took the brunt of the drop. Rolling to a quick stop, Saigo dazed, attempted to relocate the Mizukage into his line of sight.

A blurred figure stood over Saigo, who'd now managed to prop himself up against the kitchen wall, lying against it for support. With his one hand he attempted to perform hand seals while holding his other arm up at neck height. It was bent inwards, covering his chest and lower face. His chin was pulsing with an aching pain, he was no stranger to such a pain but at the moment he was dissoriantated and didn't know if Arashii would attack him. Saigo sucked the blood into the centre of his mouth and then spat it out infront of him. It spattered just infront of Arashiis feet. Exhailing deeply and then inhailing he began his recovery. As his eye's focused to the more finer details of Arashiis face Saigo smirked at him, a smirk of defiance.

" Good shot Arashii, nice to see all this good living hasn't turned you into a pussy after all. Hahahaha " Saigos outburst was cut short as he spat up more blood. His face screwed up for a moment as his tounge caught a sensetive part of his upper jaw. He knew that was really going to hurt in the morning.

" So, what now? After all my years of loyalty to you and to Kirigakure your going to kill me? Ha! I won't allow it! " As Saigo said what he thought were his last words he glared into Arashiis eyes and grinned showing his blood covered razor sharp teeth. The hand seals he first started to perform moments ago were a second away from being complete, a little suprise for Arashii. Saigo was going to show him, two 'heads' are better than one. Would the desperate Jounins quick draw jutsu activate in time...
